Friendly staff, incredibly good dough and a good pizza for the price

Very friendly, welcoming staff and incredibly delicious, authentic Italian pizzas. We'd love to come back.

Good food and a great view, but that's about it. It's very overpriced, and every request you make comes with a charge. We weren't greeted very warmly. We were refused card payment.

I did boys and girls day at the pizzaria yesterday and I didn't regret it. Everyone is very nice and their food is very tasty.

Zero customer service, rude staffs, my order took long than I expected. Some customers who came late, were able to receive their orders way ahead than mine. Lol. disgusting restaurant!

I would be happy to visit the restaurant again. However, I would like to point out that the bruschetta was prepared with onions, which was not mentioned in advance. Sincerely

The food is super tasty and very reasonably priced. The service was also great and the employees were super nice.

We were hungry for a bite to eat on a Friday lunchtime... so we ordered two wheat beers and a pizza with spicy salami. The pizza was served to us split on two plates with cutlery. The wheat beer was cold and delicious, and the pizza only had four large slices of salami... but it was truly delicious with just the right amount of spice... perfect👍👍👍 The service was also friendly and prompt... we'll be happy to come back, because that's what makes eating fun. You won't get grumpy looks here if you share a meal...👍👍👍

You're greeted with a friendly "bongiorno," which initially gives you hope. When we heard the waiter call into the kitchen after we ordered, "2x Margherita pizza, can you make that?", we felt a little strange. And yes, he could. The pizza seemed to be a pre-made one from the freezer; it just needed to be warmed up. Well, at least the Coke was good. One star for that.

We were here once two years ago, and everything was fine, so we thought we could eat here again. However, the visit was a complete disappointment. A visibly overwhelmed waiter (there were only two of us, and it was getting busier shortly after us) seemed very stressed and showed us a table, saying he would come over immediately. Instead, he took the order from another couple at the next table, and they received their food before we even received our menus. This went on the whole time. We were completely ignored while other guests received their orders from the waiter. Two other guests had the same experience and left the restaurant frustrated. The second waiter (who was much quieter but, for whatever reason, wasn't allowed to take orders) had to "show" us to his stressed colleague, and from then on, things finally moved faster. However, his behavior was almost "snotty" and condescending. A sentence like "Come on, I'll hurry you up, the group of six behind us is already waiting" was thrown in... ...as if a group of six was more relevant and we were just second-rate. The food (2x Penne Bolognese) was also very unloving and tasted bland; the penne was overcooked and was the kind you'd buy at the supermarket. All in all, it was extremely frustrating. No matter how stressed you are or how unprepared you are, there's a lack of professionalism when you're treated so condescendingly in the service. We still tipped (the other colleague, who always seemed calm and nice but wasn't actually responsible for us, took our money and nothing else), but in retrospect, I regret it.

I can only recommend it. The food is super tasty and the staff is very nice. The prices are also very fair. I always enjoy going to La Perla Italia.

I go to La Perla almost every week during my lunch break. Always delicious, always friendly, always happy.

Lunch pizza was very tasty and well seasoned with delicious garlic oil. The service was very nice and attentive.

Really really bad service from the old man, he screwed us over in Italian, he gets mad when he doesn't get drink money, the table isn't set either and he just threw things away very bad service and a very old man 😑

After waiting a long time at the table for service, we decided to take a piece of pizza with us. This turned out to be difficult, both because of the consistently unfriendly waitresses who didn't like it, and because of the billing. After we paid, we had to ask several times to receive the goods. Overall, the store is poorly organized and the employees are unfriendly (especially the older employee mentioned by others). The pizza is greasy and tasteless. Unfortunately no recommendation. Luckily, there are plenty of better alternatives in the immediate vicinity of this shopping center.

Very tasty food, both the pizza and the pasta dishes are simply great. Very friendly and courteous service. Delicious white wine and Lomincello. Absolutely recommended and I would like to come back.

Since there is always something left over with 3 children, we didn't order much and yet the service was very friendly for a pizzeria in a shopping arcade. Apart from the premises, it was more of a nice restaurant visit. And the food was also very good for a shopping arcade. Therefore highly recommended.

I often like to visit this restaurant during my break at work. The food is always very tasty. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. And it's always a nice gesture that I'm offered an espresso on the house after my meal. A very good Italian in downtown Hamburg.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this pizza shop. The food wasn't that tasty. The service also left a lot to be desired, the staff were rude and even asked for tips even though they barely looked after us. I definitely won't be back and can't recommend this business. If you eat there you definitely have to tip. Otherwise you are not welcome there.

If you want to eat a really bad pizza, this restaurant is the place for you! The dough is mediocre and there is just too much cheese. I find the service even worse, unfriendly and impolite. NOT RECOMMENDED!

It was fantastic. The pizza and also the pasta salmone were excellent. We received a very charming welcome and friendly service. Very authentic Italian cuisine.

I was eating there with my family and we only ordered 3 pizzas instead of 4 because the small one couldn't make a whole pizza. The waiter then seemed really angry and just threw our drink down and he poured everyone else's drink when they paid (with a card ) He just threw the card machine down. The 2 stars are only because the pizza was ok (it's understandable that there was no tip)

Super friendly service. Fulfilled all of our special requests. The pizzas are freshly prepared so you have to wait a bit. It's worth it! When we are in Hamburg again, we will definitely come back. 👍👍😍

When I wanted to sit at the only clean and set table outside of a large, reserved area, I was harshly told to sit at a dirty, unset table with a bad view. Of course I didn't do that and left. Anyone who treats guests like this definitely won't earn a cent from me.

A very friendly and attentive waiter served us. After ordering, the drinks came to the table quickly. The pizza was super tasty and the dough was thin and crispy - that's great! Price/performance is top for the central location in downtown Hamburg! I will gladly come again!

Do NOT go here. My friends were on holiday and on a budget. We ordered pizzas but no drinks. The waiter actually came and told us we weren’t allowed to drink from our water bottles in the restaurant. We were not allowed to drink water. It wasn’t even a soft drink or wine… I think that’s a basic human right! I will never go here again nor recommend this place to anyone.

For a short trip to Hamburg the pizza is simply delicious, fast service, what more could you want.

The food is super tasty and the service is very attentive! We took advantage of the offer for €16.90. 1 x pizza of your choice plus 1 x long drink. Both were great, we had gin and tonic as a long drink. Always good again!

After me and a friend arrived and were seated, it took a while until we got the menu. When we placed our order, it took over half an hour until we got 1 dish out of 2. Afterwards we were told that the pizza would take a while because others were in the oven (people who came after us got their food earlier, even though it was the same food). In addition, the waiters weren't really nice, but rather dry. Wouldn't recommend it.

Do not go here. We were served by this extremely rude old man, who has many bad reviews here. This grumpy old man should be sacked. When we didn’t pay a tip, he acted rude and chucked our receipt on the table. Before that he was quite rude and always muttered under his breath. I’m sure the other people are nice but I’d never go here again.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Restaurant. Das Essen und der Service waren toll. Die Pizza hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Dafür gibt sogar meine Nichte 6 Sterne. Weiter so.

Wir waren am 2.10.2023 hier zu Gast. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich. Italienischer Charme und professionell. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Sehr freundlich zu Kindern. Zum Abschied gab es noch einen Espresso aufs Haus. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute Mittag mit unseren zwei Kindern (1&3) zum Pizza essen hier. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der nette Herr der uns bedient hat. Er war extrem aufmerksam und lieb zu unseren Kindern. Der Lolli zum Abschluss (es wurde sogar vorher stumm kommuniziert ob es okay ist) hat dieses Essen für unsere Kinder zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht. Wenn wir nochmal mit den Kindern in Hamburg sind kommen wir sicher wieder. Danke :)

Die Passage ist Mittags etwas hektisch, aber für den Mittagstisch lohnt es sich trotzdem.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen; richtig italienisch und nicht einfach nur billige Zutaten. Lokal ist sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Wir waren nach unseren Einkäufen mit großem Hunger als Familie zu Gast. Wir bekamen einen großen Tisch zugewiesen, damit sich die Kinder mit ihren Spielzeug ausbreiten konnten. Gegessen haben wir Pasta & Lasagne, die Kinder Pizza Margarita. Dazu noch sehr guten Vino. Danach noch Espresso und leckeren Tiramisu. Wir waren begeistert von der guten Qualität des Essens und der Freundlichkeit vom Chef. Wir fühlten uns mehr als willkommen und bedanken uns nochmals für als Familie für das tolle Essen!
