Worst restaurant I know, old furniture from the 60s and 70s, different lighting so you can't see the old, run-down furniture. The food. So-so.

We were there twice, the meat is really tasty but unfortunately the fries don't work at all. The service was sometimes great and sometimes not so great.

If you love meat, this is the place for you. The best quality and the art of preparing everything to the desired cooking point is here. It just tastes like more. The service is very friendly and the top quality food is served very quickly.

45-year-old traditional restaurant in Mönchengladbach with very good, down-to-earth Argentinian-Spanish cuisine. The steak was very good, the mixed salad was normal, the papa asada and the fries were great. Price also good and the service was very nice and attentive! We really recommend taking a detour here! But a request to the owner: stick to the warm light and don't change everything to cool LEDs so that your ambience remains cozy!

We waited forever, we thought we had been forgotten. Many things were forgotten that were ordered or orders were simply delivered incorrectly. Anyone who has been further than Mönchengladbach knows that this restaurant is nothing special. You could only have laughed at the bill when you looked at the service and the food.

Been there for the second time and we won't be coming back. First of all, like the first visit, we find the boss in particular to be very rude. No hello and no goodbye and seems annoyed with the simplest questions, which was noticeable the first time. The beef and pork are very tasty. But be careful, there are people who don't like it too raw and so my father-in-law's skewer was completely raw towards the end. We pointed this out to the waiter, he apologized but nothing came from the boss later. The fries are soggy and no salad? Well, not for the money anymore.

We sat outside in the best weather. The food was really perfect. Both in terms of quality and preparation! The advice was excellent and we felt very comfortable. The only negative point is the price of the beer: €6.90 for a Hefeweizen is just completely excessive! :-( Nevertheless, we would definitely come back again because of the excellent menu!!!

I had regularly visited the Aachen branch of La Pampa for almost two decades and was always thrilled. Yesterday's visit to Mönchengladbach was sobering in that people relaxed quite a bit. Very unfortunate.

Ate a meat skewer here. The meat was top! The taste was top notch and cooked to perfection. I'd love to come back.

Were there to attend a concert in Borussia Park. The quality and taste of all dishes, from meat to vegetables, were very good. The ambience is a bit old, but the service is friendly and attentive. We can only recommend La Pampa.

Typical Argentinian steakhouse. That means it specializes in steaks. This was 240g and ordered medium and that's how it turned out: ou point! Excellent and an open Tinto. Very rustic atmosphere and first class service. First class and therefore justifiably expensive. Been there again. If you don't have time or are stressed, stay at home. Reservation is highly recommended, even for 1 person. The best steak house in Mönchengladbach and the surrounding area including Düsseldorf and Cologne. If you don't have any money, go to the kebab Turkish restaurant. The prices can certainly be increased. Vegans and left-green scumbags, please stay at home. ...and one more thing: Show respect to the staff! Argentinians are sober people, with senior or senioritta titles. And you're really lucky with the service.

It was a pleasure! And I don’t just mean the food! Everything worked smoothly including the online reservation with a comment about the stroller! All extras were taken into account and we even thought about how we could have the most relaxed dinner possible! What can I say… we felt so comfortable that even the baby fell asleep and we were able to enjoy the evening to the fullest! The food was great, the meat was very tender and to the point. The service, however, was in a class of its own! I have rarely experienced something like that! We had no wish left unfulfilled. This has become very rare today! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We'd love to come back!

I have often read reviews about this shop, I have to say the food there is worth every cent!!!! The waiters are friendly and accommodating, it's interesting how people pay attention to whether the table is disinfected instead of wearing the mask properly on their face. Me and my family were very satisfied and have no complaints.

Had a great meal in this steak restaurant. We went here for the steaks and we went home completely satisfied. After the excellent starters, carpaccio, melon with delicious serrano ham and tomato soup, the main courses. I had a delicious roast beef in cognac pepper sauce, deliciously prepared. My fellow guests had sirloin steak and fillet steak. These were also excellent. The choice of attachment is also extensive.

I've been there several times and it's always well attended. But the staff doesn't seem to get a good handle on it. Especially if the main course takes 1 hour to arrive or the starter is served after the main course has been eaten. Usually the meat is tasty, but some plates or some days it is not recommended, but it is due to the preparation. Flesh charred and hard on the outside and bloody and rubbery on the inside like shoe soles. I would definitely recommend professional restaurants to take the doneness level into account when ordering!

The food was very tasty 😋. The Argentine steak (medium) was very tender and juicy and not a single tendon. The service was very friendly, unfortunately the service didn't know the word brandy or the name Asbach. That's not a bad thing and he kindly brought me the card again, which would be really exaggerated as a point deduction, so it's all good 👍🏻. The restaurant could have been a little brighter, which wouldn't count as a deduction. The only thing that would change that would be the somewhat narrow parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but this is a public parking lot and charges apply until 7 p.m. (weekdays) We would definitely come again

Great food, great service and brilliant atmosphere. Rarely have I had such a good steak (perfect medium rare) and the sauce is great (flambéed cognac with cream pepper). Portion is definitely sufficient. I'm looking forward to next time.

The food here was very good. If you're British, expect the steak to be cooked on the rare side of what you ask for.

Unfortunately, the size and quality of the food has declined over the years. But the price has increased slightly. Nevertheless, from my point of view and with my previous experience from Mönchengladbach: the best Argentinian where you can best eat meat grilled on a charcoal grill. Gladly again. Not the first time there but this time spontaneously because I had just been nearby. Yes, we usually make reservations, even for two people. We were greeted, asked if we had reservations, so far so good. When I said "no" the question came, completely arrogantly, "why not?" That was the point at which I actually wanted to turn around. Well then. We were assigned a table in a really rude manner. The order was accepted. The drinks came, the bread with the dips (really delicious, both!!!) Then came the starter, my Serrano ham on melon was totally bland, so be it, it tasted good. In the middle of the appetizer, the waiter stands next to us with the two steaks and says that the griller was faster than I thought. That was the point at which I was about to freak out. We put our starter plates on a railing with half the portion aside, my partner had a warm one (meat skewers) and well, what now, let the steak get cold, let the starter get cold? People That will not do. We felt absolutely unwelcome. The food would have tasted better if you had had the time to eat. If the table was taken, we could have been informed of this, so we would have skipped the starter and everything would be fine. So we simply felt dismissed. The stay was about an hour, the bill was a good 100 euros and yes, that was good, but the stay was very unpleasant

We were there with ten people and unfortunately we were “put in the corner”. It's most likely because there was simply no other seating option for us, but I found it a little depressing

I can't understand the good reviews. The food is okay. No longer. I had the Bruger. The roll came from the supermarket. The burger would have been sold at a snack bar, but not in a restaurant for 15 euros. Others in the group ate the turkey breast with a baked potato. The baked potato with the turkey breast was so small that it couldn't actually have been sold as such. The small deafening one for 19 euros was far too expensive for what you got. Price and performance don't match at all here.

The food was very tasty, I only imagined the broccoli gratin to be different. It's broccoli baked with a little cheese without any sauce. And the salad should have a salad as a side dish, I think the portion is far too big for that Service was nice.

The best steak I've ever eaten! The restaurant was very busy when we visited, which speaks for itself on a Tuesday evening. This meant it took a while for the food to arrive, but that didn't detract from the experience - the meat was to die for. Likewise the potato wedges and especially the spinach, the whole dish was simply outstanding! The prices are also more than fair. We paid around €99 for what you can see in the picture.

By far the best meat we have ever eaten! It was busy and luckily we still had a seat despite not having made a reservation. We had to wait a while for the food (of course meat also needed time to bake), but we more than made up for it with the cooking method and quality that we received in return. I would take a detour from Belgium!

Reception was embarrassing for such a restaurant, waiters were unfriendly. We felt totally unwelcome and that's how we were served. The monkfish was still frozen, a complaint was made and it was returned frozen. Conclusion, I have kept it short. But NEVER HERE AGAIN.

Really nice and cozy atmosphere in Mönchengladbach. Expect reasonable waiting times and very, very tasty food. You get free bread and 3 very tasty sauces. The service was also excellent. However, there are paid parking spaces right in front of the door until 7:00 p.m., after which they are free, but they are usually almost all occupied.

Is the man on the phone always in such a bad mood or is it typical at La Pampa that you can't even talk sensibly on the phone. That's a reason not to come by!

Ich war tatsächlich noch nicht da aber habe demnächst geplant… wird aber nie dazu kommen WEIL wie es bekannt ist kann man die Küche von der Straße sehen und es ist schon ekelhaft zu sehen, dass die Dame in der Küche die Pommes einfach mit der Hand anpackt! Leute ihr arbeitet in offener Küche! Man kann es sehen. Mit Hygiene hat es nix zu tun… wenn man schon so das Essen behandelt dann will ich nicht wissen was da sonst so abgeht.

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen der Laden , Service eher langsam aber die Qualität der Steaks nach wie vor bestens

Wir sind sehr gerne zum Abendessen hier, einfach nur toll. Steaks werden immer perfekt auf dem Punkt getroffen. Eine perfekte Leistung!

Waren dort Sonntags Mittags vor Ort. Service war Top, Essen war gut - sehr gut. Leider war ein Stück der Mixplatte (die anderen 3 Stücke auf der Platte waren top) sehr durchwachsen. Dies konnte man aber erst wirklich im Anschnitt des Stückes selbst erkennen, daher schwer zu sehen vorher. Deswegen 4 anstatt 5 Punkte. Absolut empfehlenswert und wenn beim nächsten mal alles passt gibt es 5 Sterne.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Von der Vorspeise über Hauptgericht bishin zum Dessert. Aufgrund das alles ausgebucht war dauerte der Service etwas länger, was aber kein Probleme war.

Gutes und leckeres Fleisch vom Grill, aber auch eine beachtliche Fischkarte. Leider noch nie bis zu den Desserts gekommen... Volles Lokal, Reservierung empfehlenswert. Viele Servicekräfte, die den Laden freundlich im Griff haben. Sind regelmäßig hier und immer zufrieden.

Il locale era molto affollato e la cucina non abbastanza capace. Abbiamo aspettato tantissimo anche tra una portata e l'altra. Il cibo era buono ma non ce lo siamo gustato.

Ich hatte in Mönchengladbach zu tun und fuhr am Restaurant La Pampa vorbei. Bei dem Gedanken an das leckere Essen dort bekam ich Hunger und musste das Restaurant besuchen. Schnell die reichhaltige Speisekarte studiert und dann mein Essen bestellt. Ribeye Steak 300 gr. Medium gebraten mit Pfeffersoße und Pata Bravas. Außerdem ein Glas selbst hergestellte Sangria. Vorab gab es noch als Gruß aus der Küche mehrere Scheiben Baguette mit Kräuterbutter, Aioli und einer herzhafte rote Soße. Sehr lecker und Abwechslungsreich. Das Essen war super. Auf den Punkt gebraten. Ein tolles Stück Fleisch. Zart. Die Soße harmonierte mit dem Steak und den Patas Bravas. Dazu die leckere Sangria. Ich war wieder rundherum zufrieden. Ein schönes Trinkgeld für den Kellner und wir waren Beide glücklich. Ich wohne jetzt durch meinen Umzug in Dormagen und die Fahrt nach dem Restaurant dauert ca. 40 Minuten. Doch ich freue mich nach wie vor das Restaurant zu besuchen.
