Unfortunately, it hasn't been what it used to be for a long time! Once again, we received an "overpriced" order that was incorrect. Unfortunately, we only noticed it at home! After several attempts, we will unfortunately no longer eat here! The quality and portion sizes have also declined considerably.

"Deleting my review won't change the problems – criticism should be handled professionally!" The hygiene standards in this restaurant are completely inadequate. I observed an employee removing food residue from her mouth and scratching her body while preparing food – without washing her hands afterwards. In addition, no gloves are worn, and cash is handled immediately before proceeding with food preparation without further hand hygiene. This is unacceptable from a hygiene perspective. Instead of deleting reviews, the restaurant should urgently improve its cleanliness and working practices!

I highly recommend this snack bar! The food is freshly prepared, delicious, and of high quality. I'd especially like to highlight the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere – you immediately feel welcome. The value for money is absolutely spot on. Today I visited a restaurant again that I actually really like. I ordered a pizza, but unlike previous visits, the portion this time was significantly smaller than I expected. So I politely asked the employee, "Are you sure this is the right order?" To my surprise, the lady reacted extremely inappropriately. From her manner of speaking, I gathered that she was of Turkish origin. I had the impression that I—as the only foreign customer—was being treated differently than the other customers, who all seemed to be Turkish. The employee spoke loudly, shouted, and behaved very disrespectfully. It was particularly humiliating when she loudly said, "I'm a stubborn person, you should know that," in front of all the customers present. I felt exposed and uncomfortable. As I was paying, she looked at me in a way that made me feel unwanted and like I had ruined my whole day. I sincerely hope that the restaurant management takes my complaint seriously and takes measures to prevent such behavior in the future. I've been a satisfied customer so far, but this experience was very disappointing.

Up until now everything has always been as it should be

The staff was super friendly and accommodating - you immediately feel welcome. The food was really tasty, we had Dürüm menus and were very satisfied. The waiting time was also pleasantly short, everything went quickly. We'd love to come back!

I find it outrageous to charge 8 euros for a kebab. We're not talking about a steak or anything. Unfortunately, most people didn't row back when everything became cheaper again. Well, lost customers. IBOs in Alder makes him 5.50. That's where it goes, strangely enough

The owner is really friendly! Greets everyone with a smile and generally maintains a good mood in the store. He jokes with customers and chats with them. The food is really good too! I can only recommend :)

The food here is delicious and fresh across the menu. So far we have always received quick and friendly service. That's why we come from Wattenscheid to eat kebab. The ambience is snack bar style but always clean and accurate.

Food quite okay. Service very very unfriendly. If went 0 star. After 35 minutes they were literally chased away verbally and non-verbally to make room for new customers. Unfortunately no recommendation. Never again.

I have already rated la Mekan and the food service etc is super good. This morning, December 28th, 2023, around 2:30 a.m. I walked past it on the way to work and all I saw was a large fire department presence. My fear corresponds to the truth and unfortunately it is the snack restaurant that burned down. The cause is still unclear and unfortunately there is total damage. I am calling for a donation campaign. There was so much work and love in the shop that I can't see it caused by a fire everything was destroyed

I was there with my teenagers from work. We felt like eating out so we went there based on a recommendation. Doner and pizza were really great. Service is great, just the ambience. Is appropriate for a snack. But you shouldn't expect anything from that. Otherwise great shop.

Die Pizza ist die klassische Pizza, die man aus alten Zeiten kennt, nichts spektakuläres. Das Ambiente ist locker und entspannt, ohne große Überraschungen. Der Döner ist super lecker. Wir haben schon öfter dort bestellt und die Portionen und Qualität war immer gut. Preise sind angemessen. Zuletzt hatten wir Pommes dabei, die haben uns nicht so gut geschmeckt und hatten wenig Salz. Die Lahmacun ist unser Favorit. Wir werden bestimmt dort öfter kaufen. Service ist auch sehr freundlich und schnell

Als ich dort war hatte ich nicht große erwartungen da ich noch nie in herne döner probiert habe, der laden hat mich optisch als auch geschmachlick positiv überrascht die bedienung sowie die zutaten waren gut und frisch. Der sohn des besitzers hat ebenfalls einen netten eindruck gemacht gut erzogener junge. Insgesamt sehr guter laden kann ich nur weiter empfehlen👍
