Unfortunately it burned down, I hope it continues at some point. Good wines at reasonable prices. If you don't like seafood, there are plenty of alternatives. As a family of six, we don't let the atmosphere bother us. Family business, when the boss gets fresh fish from Paris and gets stuck in a traffic jam, you can generously ignore the long waiting time. Staff and boss very friendly and warm-hearted. Try!

Nestled in a quiet residential area of ​​Wolfsburg is the “La Mareé Restaurant”, a true gem for fish lovers. The large outdoor area invites you to linger and offers a pleasant atmosphere on warm days. A special highlight is the restaurant's connection to a fish shop, which guarantees the freshness of the dishes on offer. The selection of fish dishes is diverse and the fish is optionally refined with oriental spices, which gives the taste experience a special touch. As a starter we recommend the eggplant puree and the tuna salad - both light and extremely tasty. The grill platter for two people as a main course is a must: various types of fish are grilled to perfection, served juicy and fresh. The culinary conclusion is an aromatic Moroccan tea that pleasantly caresses the palate. The staff is extremely friendly and ensures a completely successful stay in the familiar, yet highly professional atmosphere. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Wolfsburg and will definitely come back to the “La Mareé Restaurant”.

Normally I'm not such a negative person, but I had to pass. Fish soup had an aftertaste, Fish plate oily and mostly spoiled. Calamari smelled like garbage, rice smelled, everything was barely edible. When we asked the cellar to bring it to the chef and smell it, they asked us if we would like something different!!! Nevertheless we had to pay the full amount Fish platter completely left behind. An impudence. Not recommendable

Restaurant space reserved for 2 people at 1 p.m. We traveled specifically to Wolfsburg from Schöningen and Braunschweig and the restaurant was closed.

We were there for dinner on a Saturday with 22 people and the restaurant was completely booked. Unbelievable but true...we ordered starters and main courses alá card and we were all always served our food together. Hot, tasty, the steaks as requested, the two waiters were unhurried and also had a casual saying on their lips. We were completely happy 😃😃😃 Price/performance is absolutely right. We would love to come back because we felt really welcome 😊🤤

Excellent fish platter to enjoy! The waiting time could have been shorter, but the food was of the very best quality! The furnishings are a matter of taste and certainly not at the same level as the food. But it's secondary for us!

We were doing business in the area and were looking for a nice lunch. When we entered we didn't see any employees, so we looked for a seat. We sat there unnoticed for some time - long enough to think about leaving the restaurant. Luckily we stayed because the rest of the visit was more than enjoyable! The menu offered a large selection of tempting dishes, the wine selection was clear but very well put together. We ordered the mixed grill platter for two people with rice and vegetables as sides. As a starter, bread was served with three types of spreads (tuna with herbs, a kind of tapenade and a slightly spicy version with green chilies) and various olives. Everything was extremely tasty, the olives were some of the best I've come across in Germany so far. The fish platter was also excellent, swordfish, salmon, tuna, octopus, shrimp... perfectly grilled, different but in any case very tasty grilled - it couldn't be much better. The vegetables were also very nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the rice was wonderfully aromatic. I would describe the portion size as generous - more than ample fish, less ample side dishes. There were also lemon wedges and two different sauces. The platter is not a bargain at €60, but I have only enjoyed such good fish right by the sea, and the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. We would definitely like to come back!

We had dinner at La Maree again today. We had various small dips as a starter including bread and a shrimp salad. All of it highly recommended. The salad was great with shrimp and seafood. For the main course today we had mussels in white wine sauce and spaghetti with seafood. The number of seafood in the dishes is very high and so fresh. It was again an absolute pleasure in terms of taste. The service is very courteous and friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended and the fish/seafood is very fresh. Thank you for the very tasty dinner and see you again soon.

We come from Berlin and have been to many fish restaurants around the world, but what you get here is amazing, the price and the service are pretty good. When I'm back in Wolfsburg, this is my first stop for a very good meal. 👌👍

Wir hatten eine Fischplatte für 2 mit verschiedenen Sorten. Die Portion war großzügig und der Fisch war gut gegart. Allerdings waren einige Stücke für meinen Geschmack sehr salzig. Vorspeise war in Ordnung. Ambiente wegen der Geräuschkulisse (Kühlung) nur so medium. Service war in Ordnung.

Bon service mais j'ai été malade avec les moules, elles étaient mal cuites , elle collait a la coquille et ils n'avaient pas la plupart des plats de la carte .

Gestern Abend mit Freunden ( Sie waren das erstmal da )und waren sehr begeistert. Ich war das 7x dort und immer wieder begeistert

Das Essen war gut aber für den Preis nicht gut genug. Der Service war nett und freundlich aber sehr unaufmerksam ( wir brauchten 20 Minuten bis jemand nach uns sah ( um zu bezahlen) und das nur mit zurufen.

Wir hatten eine Fischplatte für 2 mit Gemüse und Reis. Die Dorade und der Lachs waren uns zu trocken, das Gemüse hat uns gar nicht geschmeckt (wie aufgewärmt)! Etwas befremdlich war der teilweise heiße Salat (liegt ja auch auf der Fischplatte, die von unten warm gehalten wird). Das Salatdressing war aber extrem lecker! Die Vorspeise war gut und der Wein vollmundig und passend! Der Service war freundlich. Da es noch einiges auf der Karte gibt, das uns interessiert werden wir in jedem Fall wiederkommen!

Wir hatten die Fischplatte für 4 Personen und sind mehr als satt geworden. Dazu gab es auch einen Vorspeisenteller. Alles wahr sehr gut gewürzt und zuberoetet. Das Personal war sehr freundliches und zuvorkommend.

Nett gemeinte 3 Sterne. Wir hatten eine Fischplatte für zwei Personen. Die Fischfilets waren fest und trocken, der Thunfisch versalzen, die Garnelen und der Tintenfisch waren super. Menge für den Preis angemessen. Beilagen Reis und Kartoffeln sehr lecker. Bedienung braucht lange zum abräumen und kassieren. Es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich darauf sollte man hinweisen.

Sehr lecker zu Abend gegessen. Nur zu empfehlen, wenn man gern Fisch isst.

It‘s a hidden gem in Wolfsburg! The best fish restaurant in Hannover/Braunschweig/ area! If you want great fresh fish with big variety, that’s the place to go. The owner is very nice and is showing great effort to keep the customers happy. I‘m very happy to hsve this great restaurant in Wolfsburg. We are „Stammgäste“ now! The owner drives every week close to Paris just to buy fresh fish- unheard of! Any bad reviews dhows that ppl have no idea of greag fish taste….
