A small Thai restaurant. The food is very good, made with fresh ingredients. The portions are generous and served very warm. My favorite is the chicken in mango sauce!

Great food, great staff, second time back in a week, will miss it when I leave town.

The wonton was very crispy, but cold and barely contained any meat. The wok-fried peanut sauce didn't taste like peanuts; it just tasted like curry.

A clear recommendation: The food was authentically delicious, and special requests were immediately and kindly accommodated. The two waitresses were humorously attentive, and the food was appropriately fast: despite the restaurant being full, the starters were served quickly, and after a short wait, the main course followed. There's sure to be something for everyone, especially since the protein side dish was selectable for each dish – including vegetarian/vegan options without a side dish or with tofu. A quick tip: the pineapple mint shake was, in my opinion, very tasty and refreshing! We will definitely be back; it's one of the highlights in Wolfsburg and the surrounding area! It's also worth mentioning: you can pay by card.

We've eaten there several times now and have been very satisfied each time. It's like a mini-vacation in Thailand, if you look at the food. The ambiance has Thai touches, but is kept rather simple. The service, however, is once again very authentic and friendly. We'll definitely be back. My recommendation: the black Thai tea with milk 😉

We went there for dinner and made a reservation in advance – you should definitely do that even during the week! There aren't many seats, and the restaurant is usually busy. The food is ready very quickly, and the service is prompt. It's generally delicious, and the portions are decent. I especially recommend the desserts; they're truly delicious! Overall, it's decorated more like a bistro than a restaurant. The tables and chairs are also close together, and it's very noisy.

Four of us spontaneously went for lunch today. They have a very extensive menu, and we decided on a variety of dishes from the lunch menu. To drink, we had a delicious mango shake. Everyone really enjoyed both the food and the shake! The service was also very friendly; the only minor drawback is that they only accept cash payments. We'll definitely be back!

Wir sind das erste und letzte Mal im aroy aroy eingekehrt. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Wan Tans mit Hähnchenfüllung und als Hauptspeise zwei Mahlzeiten aus der Mittagskarte bestellt. Die Wan Tans - 5 an der Zahl - waren ein Witz! Sie sahen nicht einmal aus wie Wan Tans. Es handelte sich einfach nur um frittierten Teig mit gerade einmal einem 1/4 TEELÖFFEL Füllung! Dafür werden 4,50 Euro berechnet! Die Hauptspeisen waren geschmecklich okay. Jedoch sind auch diese Portionen für 11 und 9 Euro viel zu klein ausgefallen. Es handelte sich gerade einmal um Kinderportionen! Ein vernünftiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sieht unserer Meinung nach anders aus! Darüber hinaus mangelte es an einem freundlichen Auftreten seitens der Kellnerin, die uns bediente.

We ordered chicken-filled wontons for starters, and two main courses from the lunch menu. The wontons – five in all – were a joke! They didn't even look like wontons. They were simply fried dough with barely a 1/4 teaspoon of filling! They cost €4.50! The main courses tasted okay. However, the portions, at €11 and €9, were also much too small. They were barely children's portions! In our opinion, that's not what good value for money looks like! Furthermore, the waitress who served us was unfriendly. This was our first and last visit to aroy aroy.

I cannot say enough about the food here. Might sound corny but the flavors are an explosion in your mouth. Things that I would not think fit together were done and it worked. Example: tomatoes and cucumbers in stir fry. I was only sad that I got so full I could not eat anymore. There are restaurants that look better but none in Wolfsburg that have impressed me more.

Today was our first time eating here. We'd never really noticed this place before, which was a mistake. You won't find Asian food as good as this in Wolfsburg. It's fresh, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, with great seasoning and just the right amount of spice. The Blue Butterfly Tea is also delicious. The service was quick and friendly. We'd love to go back!

There's one change to the menu for items 50 and 51: The restaurant says they no longer sell whole grilled fish, but only fried fish fillets. The food is served freshly cooked as quickly as possible. Our dishes were still quite hot when they arrived at our table. The wait time for the food was surprisingly short. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Thai food.

We've been picking up food at Aroy Aroy for years and it's my favorite Thai place I've ever been to! The food is great, there are even vegan options (I highly recommend the Pad Thai with tofu!). The service is lightning fast, the food is excellent and really tasty every time. I can only recommend it. There’s also a sweet restaurant on site!

Authentic with a relaxed atmosphere - and the food was amazing: smell, taste, appearance - all the senses were stimulated; delicious, fresh, crunchy vegetables. If necessary, the request for “European” spiciness is appropriate. I happened to be there on a short visit to Wob on the tip of a friend and I would like to say that the crew and the food would also be very noticeable here in Cologne, despite the many Asian shops. Bravo and continued success!

I've been to aroy aroy often and have been eating here happily for 4 years. This unfriendly waitress has worked for you for about 1-2 years. She doesn't thank you when you give her advice. The meal cost 35 euros and I paid 38 euros, but she didn't say thank you.

Unfortunately, after years as a customer I had to experience a bitter disappointment. As I have often done before, I ordered to be picked up to invite the whole family to a nice lunch and then dragged myself home on the bike - pregnant in temperatures of over 30 degrees. At home I noticed that two of the dishes had expired, one of them almost completely. I ignored it at first, but then realized that a dish - the one for my toddler, the only one that wasn't spicy - was missing. I called straight away and first had to explain what else I had ordered, then I was asked for my name - like a little interrogation, as if I had done something wrong. With gritted teeth I was then told that I could pick up the dish and that they would prepare it. But it was paid for. I replied that I couldn't pick it up because the whole family, including invited grandparents, was sitting at the table and I wouldn't be able to make the journey again on the bike while pregnant in this weather, and at the same time the child's food was missing, which a child in that Age cannot be classified rationally either. I made it very clear that I already expected the restaurant to take care of the delivery. After that it got scary. People became very unfriendly and asked me whether I had ever worked in the catering industry and whether I never made mistakes. I replied that I could imagine that it was hard to work in the industry and that I clearly made mistakes, but that I couldn't be the one to fix the mistake because it was just the cycle can't come again. Finally, my father agreed to take the court when no other solution was in sight. So much for family dinner together. Again the reason for our order: a cozy meal as a family including an invitation from the grandparents for a special occasion. So my father drove off and didn't come back for a while and here's what apparently happened: first they mentioned that I was no longer welcome in the restaurant. Then he demanded that the discontinued dishes be remade, which should actually be a given, especially since we were waiting for him and everything was getting cold anyway. When he believed a red curry had been ordered for him instead of a green one (since he hadn't ordered it himself), he said it had expired and he was blamed for it. After a short discussion, the restaurant finally agreed to remake all the dishes. Everything was resolved. But then things got wild. A man who apparently had some connection to the restaurant began to swear wildly and literally threatened to “get in the face”. The whole restaurant was silent, listening to this bottom drawer tirade from then on. I don't think something like that should happen. The chef and co-owner of the shop cooked for me 30 years ago in one of the first Thai restaurants in the city. The disappointment is even greater. Of course it's stupid when a customer demands that a dish be delivered later after they've forgotten it. But if I just didn't make the mistake and it's understandable why I can't get the dish myself, and then something like that happens... really unforgivable and incredibly unprofessional.

Great place for authentic Thai food. Gets quite busy even during week days for dinner. Tried veg spring rolls and red curry. Taste was lively, authentic and great aroma. Staff were polite, emphatic and friendly. Spice levels are mild even though we have asked for extreme spicy food, but they were served hot.

I'm sorry...but we definitely expected something different. We don't understand the good reviews here at all! The shop is uncomfortably small and so loud that you can't understand your own words! There is also no background music. The menu is so overloaded with words and choices that you don't even want to read it. One of the two female service staff (a bit stronger and of foreign origin) was walking around so listlessly and bored that it was difficult to remain friendly when she tried to take the order without saying good day. The order was also taken incorrectly, so that the wrong food came to the table, which was taken away without an apology and exchanged for the correct one. The second service person, also female, was very nice and deserves the 2nd star. The food (sauce) is 100% a finished product from a packet soup (Asian noodle snack or something like that)...I still know the taste from before, when I ate such a ready-made product several times. It's disappointing that they cook a few vegetables and rice and then serve it in a totally oily ready-made sauce and sell it for €16. All in all a complete failure. We definitely won't come here again.

Leider war das heute bei der Abholung von vier Gerichten ein absolutes no go. Zu Hause stellten wir fest, dass ein Gericht fehlte und zwei der Gerichte nicht ordentlich verschweißt waren (noch immer wird hier mittlerweile unzulässiges Einwegplastikgeschirr verwendet). Die Flüssigkeiten der Gericht waren insoweit hübsch im Plastikbeutel verteilt. Eine telefonische Beschwerde zum fehlenden Essen wurde unfreundlich kommentiert. Bei der Abholung des fehlenden Gerichts dann das unrühmliche Finale. Mangelnde Kundenfreundlichkeit des gesamten Personals. Ein - wohl Angehöriger einer Mitarbeiterin - drohte sogar, wollte mir was auf die Fresse geben, weil die Schuld für das fehlende Essen und die ausgelaufenen Gerichte das Verschulden der Abholerin seien. Geht gar nicht, nie wieder und absolut nicht zu mehr empfehlenswert - schade schade schade 😢

I picked up a dish (The M6 ​​from the lunch table) here for my lunch break, the dish was ready for pickup within 15 minutes and was well packaged, friendly staff. The dish itself was very good in terms of portion size, but I somehow missed the typical Thai spice. Unfortunately, it tasted a bit bland to me, although the individual components were quite tasty, the meat was good, but I would have expected a little more spiciness.

The food is really good and the price is quiet competative. I liked the option to chose the level of hot spice. Would have been better if they had the complimentary thai sauces on the table, we got them after we asked, they are good.

Authentic Pad Thai is difficult to find in Germany. But here you have it, including the option to add additional seasoning. The ambience is pleasantly simple, a bit like in Thailand. The soups as starters could be a little bigger. The selection of vegetarian dishes could be expanded a little, especially for starters.

Das beste Thai-Lokal! Wir lieben es, hier zu essen. Immer frisch und lecker, hier wird mit Liebe gekocht und man wird sehr freundlich bedient. Weiter so!

Das Essen war nett angerichtet, frisch und schmeckte sehr gut. Wir haben auf vier Vorspeisen und fünf Hauptgerichte nicht lange gewartet. Die Räumlichkeiten waren klein, aber man saß nicht zu beengt. Wir hatten einen Hochstuhl bekommen, der allerdings verhinderte, dass eine Sitzreihe nicht vom Platz weg kam. Da am Nachbartisch aber keiner saß, konnte man ihn notfalls zur Seite schieben. Der Hochstuhl war auch recht dreckig, das ist das einzig negative was ich sagen kann. Ansonsten haben wir uns dort wohl gefühlt, sind satt und zufrieden gegangen, wurden freundlich bedient und preislich fand ich es auch angemessen.

The waitress brought us a 2nd apertiv by accident and made a big deal out of it when it was time to pay (60mins later) accusing me personally of "laying claim" to it by putting my finger on the dish (while I was simply trying to move them away from my plate). A 2nd member of staff came and backed the first member up, and then we heard how the kitchen staff gave their disapproval as well. All in all a terrible experience. After that 2 of our children threw up their entire meals. I certainly won't be going there EVER AGAIN.

Ich bin begeistert. Von außen macht das Aroy Aroy echt nichts her. Wenn man dann drinnen ist, ist der Eindruck schon ein ganz anderer. Aber das Essen... das Essen war ein Traum. Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen.

Wir kommen immer sehr, sehr gerne her und sind jedesmal begeistert! Vom Ambiente her eher ein gepflegtes Bistro. Uns gefällt es gut, aber wer ein Restaurant mit gedämpften Licht und Ledercouch sucht, wird enttäuscht sein. 😉 Das Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer gut drauf. Das Essen ist immer super lecker und was uns ganz besonders freut: es gibt praktisch alle Gerichte auch vegetarisch. Top!

Nach langer Zeit war ich nun endlich mal wieder im Aroy Aroy. Als Vorspeise hatte ich Satay Spieße, lecker gewürzt und sehr zartes Fleisch. Einzig die Erdnusssause hätte warm sein können. Als Hauptgang gab es dann grünes Curry, ebenfalls mit Hähnchen. Auch das war lecker gewürzt, den Korinader und die Kefir Limettenblätter waren besonders gut herauszuschmecken. Dazu gab es noch einen guten Mango Shake. Mit meiner Frau werde ich bestimmt demnächst wieder dort essen. Alle Tische waren belegt, einige Gäste mussten weggeschickt werden. Einige Essen wurden auch abgeholt.

Sehr stylisches Restaurant mit authentischer thailändischer Küche und sehr netten sympathischen Mitarbeitern! Komme sehr gerne hierher und nirgendwo anders in Wolfsburg schmeckt das Pad Thai so gut wie hier!

Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Außerdem muss man nicht lange warten :) Leider war der Service sehr schlecht. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr unfreundlich. Wir wurden nicht begrüßt, das Essen wurde uns sehr schnippisch auf den Tisch gestellt, wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen (obwohl unsere Gläser leer waren), und am Ende gab es nicht mal ein Danke fürs Trinkgeld. Sehr schade!
