La Fonte in Wiesbaden

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Wir waren zu einer Veranstaltung dort und so begeistert, dass wir gerne wieder kommen und auch das ala carte Programm testen wollen. Tolle Lage, super Essen, toller Service Wir waren mittlerweile viele Male da und lieben das Essen, den Service und das Rundherum sehr. Immer wieder lecker 😋

Da z.Z. vor dem Außenbereich gebaut wird ist die Aussicht suboptimal. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Die gegessen Pizza war gut, Preis / Leistung OK.

Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir 3, 2 x Zweibeiner und ein kleiner 4-beiner wurden sehr herzlich bedient. Unsere Hündin bekam gleich Wasser und wir wurden auch umgehend bedient. Der Service war super und die Vorspeise (Tomaten mit Büffelmozzarella) und die beiden Salate (Bunter Salat mit Putenstreifen und einen Bunten Salat mit Thunfisch) waren sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen.

Wir waren am 13.06. im La Fonte in Wiesbaden-Breckenheim und sind rundum begeistert. Die Speisen waren nicht nur optisch ein Highlight, sondern auch geschmacklich hervorragend. Die Pizza mit Rucola, Parmesanspänen und luftgetrocknetem Schinken war perfekt belegt, mit knusprigem Boden und frischen Zutaten. Auch der große Salat war reichhaltig, frisch und sehr lecker. Dazu kam ein äußerst freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die authentische italienische Küche, frische Zutaten und herzliche Gastfreundschaft schätzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 🇮🇹🍕🥗😊

Waren heute im La Fonte. Hatten eine Portion guten, filetierten Fisch. Leider mit viel zu viel dicken und dünnen Gräten. Leider hat man die Reklamation der Gräten nicht Ernst genommen. Schade... Sind enttäuscht, deshalb auch die niedrige Bewertung.

Sehr gutes Essen...vor allem italienische Küche, aber auch andere Spezialitäten.

Zu laut, zu groß, zu teuer und das Essen: meine Pizza hat mich an eine Ofenpizza aus dem Pappkarton erinnert. Hart und kaum zu schneiden. Dafür aber relativ geschmacklos. Auch die Tasse, in der der Espresso gebracht wurde sah aus, als wäre sie schon länger nicht gespült worden. Schade.

Update: We visited La Fonte again after a few months and were quite disappointed this time, so I've now adjusted my rating downwards. All the dishes were blandly seasoned, and the prices, especially for drinks, have become quite expensive and don't reflect the quality. Furthermore, there's a lack of non-alcoholic spritzers. And this despite the fact that there are a large number of such non-alcoholic alternatives on the market, especially in Italy. We were loyal regulars for years, even though occasionally something was prepared completely differently and therefore didn't really appeal to us anymore. Unfortunately, the seasonal specials change too infrequently for our taste. As a pasta lover, I also find the pasta dishes too heavy on the cream. The service depends entirely on Renato, whose charm makes up for everything.

We attended the wonderful dinner reading by the wonderful Sigmar Solbach at La Fonte on September 27, 2025. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the ambiance, and felt very comfortable. The food was excellent, and even for me as a vegetarian, there was a wide selection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back.

To say it upfront, the food at La Fonte is good, and we've always been satisfied. However, we certainly won't have another family celebration hosted. They simply can't handle larger parties! Despite prior discussions, the decorations we had bought ourselves and brought in on time weren't set up. The children's table we'd discussed wasn't there and was only seated after a friendly request. A power outlet was hanging out of the wall and was only secured after a friendly request. My husband wasn't even asked what he wanted for the main course and then decided to eat the appetizer plates because he was getting fed up. The pizza for one child only arrived after an hour and three reminders from us. The girl was hungry and just didn't get anything. To make matters worse, the Breckenheim Cultural Association asked us to please take our baby somewhere else because Sigmar Solbach was giving a reading at La Fonte and her crying was apparently disturbing her. Are you serious? We discussed the party transparently in advance, and it's no surprise that there's a lot going on with seven small children and a baby. The children weren't loud or misbehaving; they were just drawing at the table or playing outside. I felt completely unwelcome, and apart from one waitress, everyone else wasn't particularly friendly or on their toes, to put it diplomatically. I'm not trying to disparage La Fonte, but it wasn't a brilliant performance, and things like this could be done much more professionally. There were 19 of us.

In any case, a great Italian restaurant! Make a reservation! A friendly welcome, a nice atmosphere, despite the hall currently being renovated. The food was excellent. Vitello tonnato, pizza, and zabaglione! Afterwards, we had a limoncello on the house! We'll be back!

The bruschetta for starters was delicious! The pasta afterward was quite good. Fair prices. Service could be a bit more attentive (wine swapped, empty glasses, cutlery only available upon request). Unfortunately, our tablecloth was quite dirty...

We've been going to La Fonte for almost 30 years and, among other things, celebrated our wedding there 20 years ago. So we wanted to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at La Fonte on Wednesday. We had booked a table, arrived at 7 p.m., and were seated. At 7:15 p.m., after asking three times for the menu, we received it and ordered drinks. The drinks arrived at 7:24 p.m., but unfortunately, one of the drinks was incorrect. The "Italian" waiter apologized, saying, "I'll be with you right away," and disappeared. After another 10 minutes, with me without a drink, we got up and left. The manager was sitting two tables away and simply accepted my comment, "Thank you for nothing." Too bad, but that was it for us with La Fonte!!! After almost 30 years!

We've been to La Fonte several times. The food is good. Unfortunately, the waitresses always either forgot something, brought something we didn't order, or served the appetizer together with the main course. Since there were some kind of problem every time we visited, we probably won't go there again.

We visited La Fonte for the first time in over a year, as we had fond memories of the pizza. This time, however, we were severely disappointed. The taste and appearance reminded us a lot of a frozen pizza. The service was just as it always was: friendly and courteous.

The food had packaging material. A few years ago, we had a steak that was bad. The service was nice and apologetic, but the price was not fair. It was the same with the steak. That was the last time we went there!

Unfortunately, I've been disappointed several times. Pizza was mediocre at best. Fish was once served raw. All unacceptable given the high prices.

We celebrated a 90th birthday there yesterday. Unfortunately there was a problem with the subsequent reservation so the party was asked to move within the restaurant. The atmosphere of optimism led to some guests leaving the celebration, which was very annoying given the occasion. The service was very friendly and good. The food overall too. However, I wouldn't go there again to eat pizza. Unfortunately, the meat was usually done instead of medium rare.

Every now and again! Were there again after a long time. The restaurant can't do anything for the construction site next door, but it doesn't make the outdoor area attractive. The food and drinks were ordered quickly and delivered quickly. That's it. But I have to say, my calzone was very flat. Not the taste, but the height. It wasn't much taller than two pizzas. I've eaten there three times now and I'm not really impressed by the place. It's a bit pricey, but what's on offer doesn't match that. Service is mostly ok, but nothing more. No white bread, olives or anything similar in advance. The quality of the food is mixed, pizza dough is good, sauce/toppings are too bland for me. Pasta and fish dishes rather small portions, taste ok, the ribeye is quite large, but the meat is boring, little taste and structure. I'll leave it at the 3 visits...

Nice restaurant with fast service and delicious pizza + spaghetti dishes

We were there last night with a group of girls. We were greeted very friendly. The waiters were also very friendly throughout the day. The food was very tasty and the portions were great. Everything was right in terms of price The timing could still be worked on a bit. The reason was that the starter soup came and 5 minutes later the main course, but the lady immediately offered to take the main course back with her and then bring it back to her again in 10 minutes. I find the desserts to be €9.50 for two scoops. Tiramisu a bit too expensive. But it was very tasty. The wines are top priced The Aperol Spritz could be a little stronger. It was very watery. In short, a very nice evening in a cozy atmosphere with delicious food. I can recommend it

Were there on a Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., the restaurant was only 1/3 full. Nevertheless, the service was bad, waiters overwhelmed, slow, bad advice about drinks, wrong drinks brought, we had to speak to the waiters several times to be served. Grade 5 The food was ok, not enough in terms of quantity, and the price was quite high. Grade 4 The ambience is standard. Grade 3

We were guests with an extended family to celebrate and eat delicious food, which we also got! The service was excellent, no wish remained unfulfilled! All guests were very satisfied, from the starter to the main course and dessert. All in all a successful evening! Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Wir waren zwei Paare. Während der Vorspeise kam bereits ein Teil des Hauptgerichts. Haben wir beiseite stellen lasse und weiter die Vorspeise gegessen. Dabei kam dann auch die Hauptspeise ?????? Was soll das??? Als ich darüber beschwerte, baute sich der Wirt Mario mit in den Hüften in den Händen vor unserem Tisch auf und erklärte, daß dies unsere Schuld sei. Wir müßten bei der Bestellung angeben, daß wir die Vor- und Hauptspeise getrennt haben wollen. Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt und werde es auch nicht mehr erleben.

Very tasty food and good selection

As old regular customers, we were at La Fonte again this evening after a long time. We had previously read the negative reviews and were a bit skeptical. Wrongfully! The table was attractively set, with fresh flowers in the vase. The food (crown of lamb and sea bream) was very good, there was nothing wrong with it. The red wine was also very good according to Renato's suggestion. The service was attentive and attentive. Even the cafe affogato in Mario's special version with whipped cream tasted excellent, and the lemon sorbet with vodka and sparkling wine was a delight. Conclusion: everything is very good and recommended!

Service friendly but not warm, cozy atmosphere, busy restaurant, parking spaces available. Food very average, wine selection for connoisseurs frankly ridiculous. Everything is aimed at an inexperienced, simple German audience. A long menu that I can look at for minutes without knowing what I want to eat. Everything seems frozen in time like it was 20 years ago, except for the prices - they are modern.

Food is good, staff friendly, weekday lunchtime not crowded but well attended.

The first time it happened yesterday was that part of my meal was over-seasoned, but since we were there with the children I didn't have the time to complain, I'm sure that otherwise it would have been replaced without a complaint... The main part of the meal wasn't either affected and very, very tasty... We will be happy to come back as the remaining dishes were of the usual high quality.

The food is average and doesn't really blow you away. The chanterelles came with the venison in a tomato sauce with cream. It doesn't really go together because the sauce, I think the standard tomato sauce, completely covers up the taste of the venison and chanterelles. The turkey strips with the salad were very crispy. The service was anything but attentive, it's worth mentioning that the guest has to order his drinks at the counter because the waiters don't pay attention to him.

Bereits seit Jahren holen wir unsere Pizza - Nudelgerichte oder Salat dort. Nur bereits das dritte mal jetzt stellen wir fest, die Qualität ist lange nicht mehr die gleiche. Dafür aber die gehobenen Preise. Das ist enttäuschend sodass wir das nächst mal eine andere Pizzeria als Vergleich versuchen wollen

Good food at a good price. Here you can get the whole range of possible dishes. The service is consistently friendly. If you don't need any frills, this is the place for you. I like to come by every year for different occasions. Parking is easy here. However, the Spaghetti Carbonara recently took some getting used to. The pasta itself was good, but the bacon was so crispy that it tasted burnt... unfortunately that was less than pleasant.

It's pleasant to sit there, the food comes very quickly even when it's busy, the service staff are very attentive and friendly.

Es gibt einen Raucherraum. Der wird aber offen gehalten, weil sich dort das rauchende Personal aufhält Dadurch sitzt man im angrenzenden Raum auch im Rauch. Wenn man dies beanstandet, wird man , zur Strafe. Mit einer fadenscheinigen Ausrede in den Innenbereich versetzt.

Wir waren zu siebt da. Erstmal geschockt über dir extrem gestiegenen Preise. Vorspeisen (Suppen) alle lauwarm. Die Nudeln naja eher mäßig bis kaum gewürzt. Aber die Pizzen waren wirklich der krönende Abschluss im negativen Sinne. Es kam uns vor,als wären es Tiefkühlpizzen. Alle sahen gleich aus.Geachmacklich fad,super dünner Teig, innen lapisch und aussen knochenhart.Meine Gemüse Pizza da sollte Aubergine und Zucchini und Brokkoli drauf sein....war es auch.....man musste es nur suchen. Ich hab bei der Bestellung gesagt bitte mit Knoblauch und etwas scharf. Weder das eine noch das andere. Mir wurde auf meine Frage darauf eine Flasche Chiliöl hingestellt ohne Kommentar. Das Öl war nicht scharf. Das war die schlechteste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe. Die vielen Stammgäste( Senioren) sind wahrscheinlich auch hier weil sie den Parkplatz vor der Tür haben und alles Barrierefrei ist. Fazit....früher hat alles gestimmt aber heute preisleistung FLOPP. Gehen wir nicht mehr hin.
