Rooster Fried Chicken in Wiesbaden

I've always just ordered takeout. The fries are really great. The hot wings too. The filet burger is better than the filet deluxe burger, and the Mexican and spicy burgers aren't just German-style hot—they're authentically spicy. So spicy, in fact, that I (and I usually eat spicy food) was pushed to my limits. But it's very tasty. The delivery is sometimes so-so; sometimes they forgot something and then delivered it an hour and a half later, other times they sent a portion of fries with what felt like only five fries. But when everything's okay with the delivery, it's actually really great!

Unfortunately, the store doesn't live up to the hype.

The biggest dumpster dive takes 2 1/2 hours to process an order that arrives completely cold and inedible. You're better off just getting a kebab.

We placed an order and it didn't arrive complete. After calling ten times, they finally answered and promised to have it delivered immediately. Nothing arrived, and they stopped answering the phone.

I would have preferred to go to KFC. The wings were cold and poorly seasoned, and the burgers tasted like they were pre-made. I wouldn't recommend the Lidl burgers.

Yesterday I ordered through Lieferando. After 2.5 hours, the food still hadn't arrived. When I called the restaurant, I was told the driver was on his way and would be there shortly. However, that wasn't true – there was no driver on his way, and the order hadn't even been prepared. They had obviously forgotten about me and lied to me as a customer. That's completely unacceptable – never again.

Ordered via Lieferando. No delivery and no response to calls! Cancelled.

Unfortunately, parts are frequently missing and there is a lack of respect for the customer.

Several friends and I ordered food. Aside from the fact that it took almost an hour and a half to arrive, it was incomplete upon delivery. After calling, my request for the missing items was ignored, and I'm still waiting for the missing items to be delivered. Perhaps ordering in person would be less of a problem, but I strongly advise against ordering from them!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. The mozzarella sticks, like the fries, were ice-cold and soggy. The coleslaw was a joke. The burgers were okay, but far from good. The best thing about our order was the canned cola, which was actually chilled. The price/performance ratio is completely off.

DON'T GO THERE!!! The fried chicken is so dry!!! It tastes awful!!!

The people there are very courteous and friendly. They take requests into account, and communication was flawless. The food was top-notch, fresh, and delicious. It was also prepared very quickly. If you're looking for chicken, definitely go to Rooster.

Almost threw up after eating the burger. Ordered from them, they forgot part of my order, they promised to send it to me, after an hour, at 2+ am I realized they wouldn’t bring it anymore and stole my money, they lied, stole my money and left me feeling sick! Would never recommend this place! I have eaten also in person there, loud German rap playing to the point you can’t even hear the person next to you, the people working there are throwing stuff and constantly shouting nonsense. It’s a restaurant, not a bull pit, people go to eat in peace. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

We ordered food from this place, by the time it arrived, the food didn’t taste fresh and tasted very bad, the lettuce inside it was very soggy. It felt like I was eating a burger that was kept as a leftover throughout the day. Addition to the meal, we ordered cola with it, however, they forgot about it and they said that they will bring it to us. We waited for one hour and we called again to ask where the drinks were but they didn’t answer our calls and it was already closed.

The food is delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff are very cheerful and friendly. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is okay at best, nothing more. The Spicy Sizzlers Burger was okay. The fries arrived cold and weren't fresh. The crispies had a good coating. However, they also arrived cold and were partially burnt. The coleslaw I ordered with it was a disaster. It tasted really stale, so I had to throw it away. Unfortunately, I won't order from there again, as this has happened a lot.

Absolutely the best chicken in town. So well seasoned and freshly prepared. Spicy Box isn't for beginners; despite the spiciness, you can taste how well the chicken is seasoned and how juicy it is.

I have to say, I've ordered several times, and honestly, KFC doesn't stand a chance. The portions can't be compared to other burger joints. You can be really proud of yourselves. I'd like to add one small point. I know you're very busy. The delivery time would be great if it were a bit faster. Otherwise, top notch, and we'd gladly come back. Thank you very much.

I don't know what was worse here – the food, the service, or the atmosphere. Nothing went right at Roosters. The staff was unfriendly, irritable, and practically ignored us. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food, even though it was barely busy – and when it finally arrived, it was cold, poorly presented, and tasted absolutely terrible. The "chicken pieces" were as dry as a desert, and the grease had already collected on the plate. Hygiene also seems to be a foreign concept here – sticky tables, dirty floors, and you'd rather not even look at the restrooms. I've rarely experienced such a bad place. Once and never again. Roosters? More like Losers.

I was in Wiesbaden for work and stumbled upon it by chance. The food was prepared super quickly. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. I'm planning my next visit as soon as I'm back in Wiesbaden.

Great burgers! A wide selection with some very interesting combinations. And the price is pretty reasonable, too.

The order wasn't delivered until two hours after it was placed. No apology. Nothing. Simply disappointing.

The delivery arrived incorrectly, requests were ignored, and service was not performed as expected, despite full payment being received. Some items were removed from the order by the employees at their whim. After I called to point out that something was missing from the order, I was given a rude rant by the employee, who spoke disrespectfully and was unwilling to compromise. Half an hour later, a delivery man broke off the missing items from the delivery and threw them at us as if he were throwing a dog's bowl, and then broke off something else. Absolutely unacceptable! The food was soggy and cold...!!

The delivery distance was 500m. Nevertheless, the delivery was delayed by 30 minutes.

It’s surprisingly difficult to find good fried chicken in this area, and unfortunately, Rooster doesn’t help change that. The quality may be decent, but the customer service is seriously lacking. Their Lieferando partnership seems completely non-functional. Orders get accepted, you wait… and then they’re canceled without explanation. No respect for customers’ time or expectations. If you’re looking to waste time and end up hungry, this is the place.

Very good burgers. The chicken is incredible, the potato portion is very good but the chicken wings only come spicy, which was a disappointment.

Don't order there at all. After the food took almost two hours to arrive, we wanted to cancel, and we weren't refunded. They were also incredibly rude, and we didn't pay for anything, not even getting our tip back.

Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry and cold. Burger was better. Worse than other fast food chains like KFC.

Super delicious and the prices are absolutely correct! like to come again and again. The only criticism would be that it's best if you order several things that you might give them out at the same time or one after the other and not give them out straight away when one is already finished. It would be cooler if you could then eat everything together. Otherwise everything was really great!!

The food came an hour late and the driver and the colleague on the phone were also very unfriendly. I can also order chicken elsewhere but they don't have it anymore.

I would give 0 stars if it were possible, our meal was missing 2 salads and 3 sauces, the guy said they can't deliver it anymore because the store is closing & we'll get it on the next order. He said the sauces were sold out and just gave us mango curry - disgusting, we could have called earlier and said, the meat from our wings was also raw so I have no idea Burger taste 2/10 was dry and tasteless😐

If you want your food to be delivered cold and incomplete after an hour, you've come to the right place! We were then promised that the missing food + free desert would be delivered later. Ordered for several people. Some things didn't arrive. What had arrived was cold and very dry. Some things were missing and have never been delivered to this day. Not even when asked. Staff very unfriendly, rarely treated so badly and sometimes very unprofessional treatment of customers.

The delivery came quite quickly, but the drinks were missing and the food was cold and the wings were brown and not gold. We also had stomach pains but that could also be due to the anger. Never again!!!!

I've now had a bit of experience with Roosters, and I have to admit the place is terrible. The food came after only an hour, and as if that wasn't enough, the food was still cold. And this was the case about every other order, so I advise against paying Roosters a regular visit.

Overcharged for order with poor customer service & mediocre food.

Very disappointed with my first visit. Chicken was utterly flavorless and dry. As if they forgot to add the spices to the batter. Was excited to try it but won’t be going back. I can’t believe that all the positive reviews are genuine. Fries were ok. But you only get one small pack of ketchup or mayo.

Ambience was amazing. But I also ordered :D food will be great. But I'll only find out when it's there. The service was really good and friendly!

I order from Rooster almost every other day, and the food is delivered very quickly and tastes very good. The food always arrives warm, so it's great. I hope it stays that way. I've never had anything to complain about so I recommend it to everyone

I don't know if the store uses laxatives for cooking/frying, but you can't have to deal with diarrhea every time you eat it. Food should make you happy, not sick. Never again!

I got wings and it wasn't fresh at all. The wings skin was so thick and soft as it sat in the store for hours. Not recommended. Although I pointed this out to get fresh food, no consideration was given. So I can't recommend Rooster more highly.

Yummy! Staff was super nice! Best fast food chicken in town! Their beef burgers are delicious too! Best "American" fast food place (definitely higher quality than mcdonalds or burger king).

Unfortunately I'm not 100% satisfied. The fries I ordered were forgotten, but I had already paid online via Lieferando. The supplier left so quickly that I couldn't say anything more. I then called, but unfortunately no one answered the phone. It would be important to me that I get back the €3.50 I paid too much. Unfortunately the Sizzler Burger wasn't very spicy but rather unpleasantly spicy! The driver was very friendly! Would eat something there again, but no spicy things!
