La Femme in Berlin

The food was okay, but nothing special. The service left much to be desired: I had to go to the counter myself several times because, although the staff member was present in the room, he wasn't where he was needed. No one asked if we had any further requests or if everything was alright. In addition, a loud and distracting YouTube video with a constantly repeating piano piece was playing in the background, which significantly detracted from the atmosphere.

The hype isn't real. Save your money and eat at home.

The restaurant is now divided into two sections: La Femme and CTR Chicken. This is a real shame, because instead of smelling of bread and simit, it now smells of fried chicken. The interior has also been redesigned, which, in my opinion, is a step backward. The rustic decor has been replaced with something more modern. Now it's just a bland interior combined with a fast-food chicken section. The service is mediocre and rather unfriendly. A few kind words and some hospitality wouldn't be too much to ask. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

I order from here quite often and enjoy having breakfast here occasionally. For breakfast, I usually order the "Sündürme Tavası." It's a dish made with milk cheese and egg, and it's absolutely delicious. I also like to order the chicken pide. It always arrives fresh and juicy.

My husband and I went there for breakfast. The food was delicious – well-seasoned and with a wide selection of breakfast options, both sweet and savory. The drinks selection, especially tea and coffee, was also very diverse. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. Upon entering the restaurant, I was initially ignored and had to ask if I could choose a table. The menu was then placed on the table without a word, which didn't make a very good impression. Another thing I found negative: A female employee came behind the counter in street clothes, without a uniform, gave instructions, and worked – without washing or disinfecting her hands beforehand. She was still wearing her coat and backpack, which I found unhygienic. The ambiance was simple, yet inviting. Would I go again? Definitely for the food – but probably not because of the service.

I'm sorry, but I often go to La Femme on Bismarckstrasse with my daughter. We came here to visit a friend. What can I say? It was a disaster! The food was cold and, frankly, quite disgusting! The waiter himself was also very unmotivated; he preferred to take phone calls. I'll never come here again! A complete waste of money.

We enjoyed the quality of the food and how big the portions were. Especially, the Simit bread was the best we’ve ever tasted 🫶🏻🫶🏻 So good that we came back just to get the Simit to-go 🥰 The staffs were also nice 😊

I came here today for kumpir and unfortunately found that at least one of the toppings was no longer fresh/spoiled. I've been feeling slightly nauseous ever since. Please urgently check the dressed salads.

We had breakfast at this restaurant today. I was really dissatisfied—with both the service and the payment. Although there was no notice, we were told when paying that only cash was accepted. When I asked the employee why there was no notice, he replied, "I don't know, they don't write it down." That was really unprofessional.

We've been to La Femme several times before. It's a great place, with nice decor and comfortable seating, and plenty of space between the tables. The food today was okay...it's been better. The service was nice but inattentive, and these days every waiter tells you up front that only cash payments are accepted. What a pity.

We weren't allowed in, saying we were closing before closing time. I was embarrassed to have come with guests. I'd been there before, so I made my own assessment.

The food was delicious, but there's still room for improvement. What still needs improvement is the service. We had to fetch the bread/simit ourselves, which is usually served alongside the meal, or even in advance. We had to point out that we hadn't ordered water, and then the waitress walked through the shop with my drink, not knowing where to put it. As a guest, you need a lot of patience and strong nerves.

La Femme is one of my favourite breakfast places in Berlin. Wide variety, yummy food, good portion size and kind service. :)

Airport prices for average quality. Service was unfortunately only mediocre (a second plate for a shared breakfast would have been nice), so it was good but very crispy baked. Coffee was nicely served but lukewarm, and the tea wasn't hot either. The scrambled eggs were bland, and the puff pastry tasted better at Lidl next door. The jam was indefinable, just sweet. The toast with cheese and sausage was vaguely good, but the combination tastes good anytime and anywhere. Overall, nothing special, just average, but simply way, way too expensive! It's interesting and respectable at least that almost only women work here (apart from the bakery and cellar). What you see in the picture here cost €35 (deluxe breakfast, small tea, and small mocha), and is just enough for one hungry guest!

Do not recommend, do not recommend, do not recommend, do not recommend The place looks as if it's never cleaned. The tables weren't clean. Even after two polite requests, the table wasn't cleaned. When we ordered, we were told to order quickly, even though the place was quiet. When we got our food, we only got one sesame ring each. Then we were told that each additional sesame ring would cost four euros, which I thought was... I already paid her €8.50 for two slices of cheese and three olives. The service was disastrous. The food they sell there has nothing to do with Turkey. I won't recommend this place to anyone because it's simply a disaster. I can't recommend this place from top to bottom.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, good value for money, and generous portions. The service was excellent; even though it was busy, we didn't wait long. The staff is very friendly and committed to customer satisfaction. Thanks to the team.

We ate super delicious lahmacun and pide with minced meat. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade.

As a Turkish person originally from Istanbul, I can recommend this place for a proper Turkish breakfast. Nice to sit outside

I went to this place for breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs with meat. The food was quite good, and the quality was also nice – I was happy with the meal overall. However, I didn’t like the tea. It tasted like it was burned, which took away from the experience a bit. The biggest downside for me was the environment – while I was sitting, several people came by asking for money, which made me feel uncomfortable and not relaxed. Everything else was okay, but because of the atmosphere, I don’t think I’d go back.

We've enjoyed going there for breakfast for many years. The homemade simit, in particular, are highly recommended! It used to be a breakfast place, but then they expanded their offerings to include delicious pide variations. Today, unfortunately, part of the shop is a chicken shop, which somewhat spoils the atmosphere.

The food wasn't as good as the Wilmersdorfer at La Femme. Simit was super dry and hard. Sündürme wasn't good. And the chamomile tea wasn't made from whole flowers either. Also, they didn't accept card payments. But nobody had mentioned that beforehand.

3 pieces of baklava for 6 euros.

The breakfast was really good, we were pleased with the taste and presentation. But we were treated like animals when we were greeted. As soon as we entered, a bearded man around 35-40 years old greeted us with a rude and derogatory expression like “walk around, look for a table”. I had brought my friends last week, and it was Mother’s Day. It is unacceptable to be treated this way even on such a special day. There is something called manners, we work in this sector too, but we have never seen such disrespectful behavior. The service quality does not suit the name and ambiance of this place at all.

Been there for a several times already. Might be a bit pricey, but I totally recommend this place. Turkish specialties. Feels like home. Nice atmosphere. Service staff is kind and fast.

Took 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. Boring, basic, overpriced food. Best part was the orange juice and simit.

We were there for breakfast and tried the specialties. The food was excellent and really tasty. The ambience is authentic and inviting. Absolutely recommended!

Had a good breakfast. The locally baked simit are simply delicious. Today we had an oriental omelet and, of course, fresh coffee. You can still find a seat during the week in the morning.

Quite new it became my preferred breakfast place at weekends with friends. All the breakfasts with egg are amazing, and you can see the exceptional simmits being prepared from scratch.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the cakes. Very bad.

The shop used to be a hit, we liked going there to have breakfast, now there is an extra chicken stand in the restaurant which means that the entire shop smells of fried chicken, very unpleasant. 😕 We won't be having breakfast here anymore, it's a shame

This is what we got as order even though I have specifically wrote in delivery order via Ubereats that we want our two pide orders in two separate boxes that are closed and safe. You are delivering food and your customers deserve dignity. Never again.

The OG La Femme and the best one of them all. The menu selection is huge, be it for a hearty brunch/lunch, for coffee/tea, for dessert - you'll find something for your taste. Good place for "quick food in the area". The service is not intrusive - Turkish. The food is good, but they couldn’t make better wings than the famous chain.

Today we bought a cake from Kottbusser Damm, which was still in preparation and they also asked for extra money because it was supposed to be bigger, but unfortunately when we cut it open at home, the cake was only covered in cheap cream on the inside Cake batter was then only enough for 3-4 people. It's a real shame that people are being made fun of like that. So definitely not recommended…

I ate a pide in the evening and then started puking early in the morning and couldn't get out of bed for 2 days, not recommended if you don't feel like getting food poisoning

I received my food after over 40 minutes of placing my order. Customers who arrived later were served first and also received their food first. Despite repeated requests from the service staff, it was 4-5 minutes. Which wasn't true either. The food was okay but nothing special.

Today I went to La Femme Breakfast and Simit House with very esteemed friends to eat some simits, drink tea and have a pleasant time. We ordered 3 teas and 3 simits. Our orders came and while we were still drinking our tea and hadn't finished our simits, the waiter probably thought we hadn't ordered enough and rudely asked us to pay immediately. We were still in the middle of a conversation and enjoyed our tea and Simit. The waiter's behavior embarrassed me in front of my friends and I felt forced into such an undignified situation for the first time in my life. I would like to share my negative experience about this breakfast and simit house and even point out that no honorable person should go here.

Here you can get good, oriental dishes for both small appetites and big hungers. The food is always tasty and freshly prepared. The service is good and reliable.

Last week, I ordered a cake from Ms. Neslihan. I received my order from the branch today. First of all, I would like to say that they gave the wrong cake. For this reason, I went back and paid the difference for the cake I bought. After tasting the cake at home, I didn't like it at all. Zero material. It was so empty inside that you were only eating whipped cream. I conveyed this to Ms. Neslihan via message. However, he told me stingily that Turks were always ugly and behaved like that. There wasn't any food left that I didn't eat. I never recommend it.

Inside this restaurant there is an “CTR Chicken” branch which ist franchised fried chicken resturant. But its doesn’t appear in google map, i tried to add it, i hope it works. So i write here for guaranty. The was really “DELICIOUS” . Its Halal. Written in menu so clearly. Best possible price i think. So price and quality matches perfect.

In the 21st century, I couldn’t pay with a credit card. Why be litterally in the middle of Berlin and not accept cards? The food is good but to my opinion overly priced as well.

Yesterday I sat alone at the table and was not noticed at all. Everyone else who came with two or more people was all served before me. I ordered Su Böregi and got dry Börek which tasted like the day before (it was also very dry). My girlfriend came along and only then was I noticed. After 30 minutes, the waiters asked for our wishes again and took note of them so we were finally able to place an order. One waiter was constantly standing at this CTR stand and telling the lady at the cash register what a great personality she has and how nice she is etc. After sitting for a while (we wanted to order desert) the bill was simply presented to us. I found that very unpleasant, we paid and left.

Unfortunately kumpir is not tasty - potatoes are not through and served almost cold. The waiting times are very long. Not recommended

Wonderful place! Great food, super nice service! We were there in the morning to have brunch. And no matter what we ordered, it was simply delicious. We received our food quite quickly and were able to reorder quickly and easily at any time. Nice service!

It tasted nothing special and was expensive for what you received. Two points that can definitely be praised are the ambience and the homemade simit. They were the best part of the visit. Personally, I wouldn't visit the restaurant again and won't test Instagram Hype Restaurants anymore. Because the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

Menemen, sündürme had nothing to do with the basic recipe. Everything is overpriced, card payment is not possible, you are only informed of this when you receive the bill. Never again!

A wonderful lunch spot to escape from the touristy part of Berlin! I give 4 stars for the service, because we were not helped immediately on the terrace. But as soon as I had received a menu, this was resolved properly. Very nice people and fantastic food. Highly recommended!

Very tasty food. You can have a very good breakfast there but they also have great cakes. Absolute recommendation if you like Turkish breakfast. You bake the sesame rings yourself!

I ordered something, but it was only ready after a delay of 15 minutes. Otherwise, pide with cheese and tuna were tasty.

We love staying at La Femme every time we visit Berlin. It always tastes very good. This time, however, we are shocked. The food was tasty and the waiters were at the table quickly. Unfortunately the table was stuck, which the waiter tried to fix. The big but: €3.10 for 0.5 liters of water? Allah’tan korkun. Aldığımız bildiğin su. We were just so shocked and couldn't realize it straight away and unfortunately bought the water anyway.

Food very tasty. There is a particularly large selection of breakfast dishes, but there are also several lunch dishes and delicious desserts. Unfortunately, the staff during my visit was not particularly interested in the guests. The waiter seemed impatient. He disappeared when I wanted to order dessert and when I wanted to pay. Payment is only possible in cash.

I liked the breakfasts! Borek and iskender was okay. However not accepting a card (only cash payment) in a place like this is a big no-go for me. You come with your family and need to pay >100 Euros, which is not possible sometimes. So ensure you have cash before ordering.

It is quite shabby compared to other branches. The employees are polite and fast, but the interior is not comfortable at all. I ordered a La Femme plate, there were 2 insects in the salad, I think they use ready-made salad, I advise you to be careful.
