Very nice little restaurant. The menu isn't extensive, but it's very tasty!

Incredibly good pasta! The goat cheese appetizer was also delicious 👍🏻 The only downside: there's no drinks menu at this restaurant.

Unassuming from the outside, it's now my favorite restaurant in town!

We haven't been there in a long time because we were once annoyed. This time we were pleasantly surprised by the service, the prices of the dishes, and the wine. We'll be back often.

Great as always! Great food, great service! I can't understand the bad reviews, and I go there often, but everyone has their own opinion.

Very tasty pasta. Service is good, but you should be prepared for a while. Depending on the table next to you and the occupancy, it can be a bit noisy—it's a trattoria, after all.

It wasn't my first time there, but after this visit, it will definitely be my last! If you're planning on visiting the restaurant with your dog, I can only advise against it. "Dogs aren't welcome here – we're not a dog restaurant!" We were told that after only five minutes, even though the dog didn't make a sound and lay obediently next to me. When I pointed out that this wasn't communicated anywhere, we were treated extremely rudely or simply ignored for the rest of the evening. I'm really disappointed and won't be going there again. The food wasn't particularly good either, and if the atmosphere is unpleasant, I can't recommend the visit.

I don't usually write reviews, but this visit annoyed me so much that I'm making an exception. There were three of us in the restaurant, accompanied by two small, very quiet dogs who were obediently lying under the table or in their bags. Right at the beginning, we were asked if anyone else was coming and if they also had a dog, which we replied no. That was fine with us, but unfortunately, the evening took a rather unpleasant turn from there. We were only reluctantly given water for the dogs, and shortly afterward, another waiter made it clear that dogs in the restaurant were "something special" and that there had been complaints in the past. That may be true, but nowhere (neither on the website nor on site) did it say that dogs were not allowed. On the contrary: Over the course of the evening, even more guests arrived with dogs. What bothered us most was the overall rude, condescending tone and the very curt, almost dismissive manner in which we were treated. The food (vegetarian) was also unfortunately mediocre and couldn't compensate for the poor overall impression. Conclusion: If dogs aren't allowed, that's of course the establishment's right, but please communicate clearly and politely. It's the tone that counts, and given the way we were treated, we certainly won't be coming back.

Frattoria is the best place in Munich if you're craving pasta and good service. The food is always delicious and super fresh. Thanks to the great owner for having such a restaurant in Munich!

Since I'm a regular there, I know the Fattoria inside and out. I've just read some of the reviews here and also the negative ones: too little selection, wrinkled menu, long wait for food. The Fattoria offers around twelve pasta dishes, a few fish and meat dishes and a few starters and desserts. It's a small restaurant with a small menu. The ambience can be great, but not always. People have written here that they have been to this restaurant so many times but now, this time, they were disappointed. This can happen to you anywhere. In the Fattoria it can sometimes take too long and a dish may no longer be available. There may only be one red wine. People love Fattoria. An above-average, charming Italian eatery, the kind you'll have to look for for a long time. Belatedly all the best to 20 year olds!

The taste of the truffle pasta was really excellent - unfortunately the experience was somewhat marred by the unfriendly tone of the waiter (presumably the boss?), who seemed more harsh than courteous. In addition, it would have been helpful to have had a clear indication that payment was only made in cash in advance - so we had to run to the bank at the end.

Rarely have I had such good food and service.

I was in the Fattoria again and this time for the last time. The food was good, the service was disappointing, the waiter was unfriendly and grumpy. Some examples: I had ordered a table for 7 people a week before, we were assigned a table for 6 people upon arrival. When asked, the waiter said that a 7th chair would be added when the 7th person came. It was then very tight. By the way, the two neighboring tables, each with two seats, were unoccupied the entire evening during our visit. After the appetizer, the waiter said we should finish the aperitif so there was room at the table. One guest received a dish with truffles instead of the pasta dish with octopus that he ordered. When we asked, they said we had ordered the dish with truffles three times (which wasn't correct), and asked whether he would take the dish with truffles, otherwise it would take a while for the dish with octopus to arrive. By the way, truffles aren't bad either. I will not come back with this service.

I was there yesterday with my girlfriend, and we had a perfect evening. Above all, the service from Heinz, who runs the restaurant and looks after the guests himself, is very charming! The food was perfect, and the wines were also well-chosen! I would recommend an evening at LA FATTORIA to everyone ☺️

We were a group of 7 people for dinner and were all "snubbed" by the waiter several times. This waiter so far deserves the award “The Unfriendliest Waiter in Munich”. The food was average… The place was very cramped… I personally will never go there again!

Uncomplicated and down-to-earth restaurant, with delicious food and very nice service.

We love it! My father and I go to La Fattoria 1-2 times a week and always feel completely welcome and more than comfortable. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the hosts are simply world-class. A big thank you to the entire team.

I can't rate the food, but I can rate the service. We called to make a reservation and were told to just come, there would definitely be a spot. When we arrived we were told that there was no space and when we (friendly) pointed out that we had called beforehand, the waiter just rudely said what he should do now. Waste of time and just disappointing. We were then given the flippant advice to simply come back later and, ideally, not to request a reservation until the afternoon. We certainly won't be coming back and the "advice" could have been avoided - an apology would have been appropriate instead and the realization that the restaurant made a mistake here. We understand that mistakes like this happen sometimes, that's not the problem, but the way guests are treated here is simply the last thing.

The waitress, a very tall man was super unwelcome, he was angry and bitter all the time. We asked for 2 glasses of wine and he came with an open bottle and left it in the table. We we asked for the bill he wanted us to pay for the whole bottle of wine. The food was very nice but all this made the experience not 100% nice.

Simply has everything a favorite Italian needs. ❤️ (Only the volume/acoustics are really borderline - it would help if some fabric hung on the ceiling or something similar.)

Really great little restaurant with flair. Warm and super attentive service. Menu on 2 pages and every dish is certainly a dream. I had truffle pasta (decapitate me, I don't remember what the type of pasta was called 😅). Wine on recommendation and all at really fair prices. Come back ❤️

Good food and most of all not mainstream. However, it is often so stuffy and hot in the Lomal that it is really uncomfortable.

The food and wine were excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service (Heinz) is first class and very personable. Our new regular Italian!

First of all, the most important information, which unfortunately is not posted: only cash, NO card payment! But there is a Sparkasse ATM (somewhat hidden) just a 5-minute walk away. We had a nice table in the rather small restaurant and felt very comfortable. The store was full over the evening - it's definitely worth making a reservation by phone! Service was incredibly nice and warm! Food was amazing! We would definitely like to come back

A difficult shop, the service is lousy, the food is good but not great. The waiters are racists. Nevertheless, you always go there only to be disappointed. The waiters don't really make you feel welcome either. Everything is thrown on the table and something from the order is often forgotten. The interior is nice, but I can't understand why the store is always busy. I'm not going there anymore for now

Concentrate on the essentials! No frills, good food, real original service.

Actually 0 stars. I've really liked the restaurant so far, but yesterday we had a really subterranean visit. The two older gentlemen in service have absolutely failed in their job, menus are only handed out after repeated requests, orders only after repeated requests, unbelievable complaining because you dared to order a drink, another order was not even possible because no one showed up, When I asked why they were so unfriendly, all they got was a grumble and a scolding because they actually wanted to pay. The neighboring tables were no different. La fattoria has definitely lost us as guests.

The opctopus in the noodles was very chewy. The waiter or boss was unfriendly. When we pointed out to him that he had forgotten something on the bill, he didn't even say a thank you. Payment only in cash these days, very strange.

Starter plate rather poor! Truffle pasta very tasty! Waiters not attentive, drinks are forgotten, if you want to drink again you have to actively go in and order! No card payment possible, which was quite annoying and inconvenient! All in all, you can try it out, but you don't have to go there again!

We were in the restaurant five years ago and a lot has obviously happened since then - a lot of bad things. The waiter was so bad-tempered, grumpy and taciturn that it was hardly enjoyable to eat there. We had the impression that we were disrupting his circles. It's also outrageous of us that we wanted to eat with friends in an Italian restaurant on a Monday evening and spend a few nice hours! Apart from the really bad service, another downside: this restaurant only accepts cash payments... Conclusion: never again!

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and very nice service

This was my first visit and unfortunately my last. Because the fish soup, which tasted good, was very vegetable-heavy, the truffle noodles were oil noodles with 15 thin slices of truffles and no other spices. The grilled octopus had green fried peppers in the salad. In my opinion it doesn't fit at all. It's a shame, we were looking forward to a very good meal. Therefore only 3 stars

Nice charming little restaurant in the Au. We had very good starters and great pasta for a fantastic price/performance ratio. The waiter was super nice and joked with us a little. We had a great evening and would love to come back.

We stumbled into this very inconspicuous restaurant thanks to an insider tip. Hardly recognizable as a restaurant from the outside. We were warmly welcomed and the innkeeper/waiter/chef de maison was very friendly. We were greeted with a few nibbles of bruschetta and the main course was pasta. The wine concept convinced me straight away: there is always a bottle and what you don't drink is roughly converted and you only pay for what you drink. So usually the bottle if the wine fits. Pasta is great. I definitely recommend Octopus if it's on the menu. The prices are more than fair and it tastes fantastic! Finally, there's a limoncello on the house. Cash is the currency! No EC card payment!

Einfach Genial. Kleine aber sehr feine Karte. Zuvorkommender Service. Schnell bedient. Große Portionen. gerne wieder. Unbedingt reservieren. Freue mich schon auf den Sommer mit dem Essen auf der Strasse.

Kommt vorbei und lasst euch verwöhnen. Individuelles Essen oder gemischte Vorspeisen und Nachtische für Gruppen möglich. Die Jungs sind schnell und kümmern sich um dich mit italienischer Herzlichkeit. Am besten reservieren, da es stets gut besucht ist.

Tolles und authentisches Restaurant. Es gibt nur eine kleine Auswahl an Essen, aber dieses ist absolut lecker. Preise sind sehr fair. Unbedingt im Vorhinein reservieren und etwas mehr Zeit einplanen, da oft nur ein Kellner für das ganze Restaurant zuständig ist. Es gibt nur Barzahlung und teils eine etwas laute Lärmkulisse. Aber das ist gerade der Charme des Restaurants. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir sind mittlerweile Stammgäste.

Kleines Lokal in der Au. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top, die Portionen sind sehr groß und für München echt günstig. Geschmeckt hat es auch wunderbar. Der Service war freundlich und schnell, obwohl an dem Abend nur eine Kellnerin für das ganze Lokal zuständig war. Definitiv ein Besuch wert. Am besten vorab reservieren. Nur Barzahlung möglich.

War vergangenen Samstag da, volles Restaurant und ein Herr der alleine alle Tische bedient hat. Grosses Lob dafür! Das Essen, die Weinempfehlung und der Service waren hervorragend.

Ich war am 7. Oktober dort essen und es war perfekt, wohlbemerkt war nur eine Person im Service aber stark wie die abgeliefert hat grossen Respekt!!!!!!!

Wunderschönes, mittelgroßes Restaurant mit viel Charme und sehr leckerem Essen. Wir haben uns alles von der, scheinbar täglich wechselnden Karte, bestellt und die Gerichte waren hervorragend. Die Vorspeisen sind sehr groß, und auch beim Hauptgang waren die Portionen sehr reichhaltig. Jeder, sowohl vegetariererinnen, als auch "reine Fleischesser" sind auf ihren Geschmack gekommen. Besonders hervorheben müssen wir den Service, denn trotz Krankheitsbedingter Ausfälle hat der Inhaber eine überragende Servicekraft finden können, die mit Witz, und Charme die vielen Gäste im Alleingang bedienen konnte. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert, und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Mit Reservierung haben wir nach 45min nichtmal ein Wasser erhalten und die Bestellung konnte auch nicht aufgenommen werden. Nach langjährigem Besuch werden wir dieses Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Sehr Leckeres Essen 🥘 Als Grüß aus der Küche bekommt man Bruscetta. Vorspeise - Pasta waren sehr gut. Der Wein 🍷 der uns empfohlen wurde hat ein gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Einzige Kritik ist die Barzahlung, das ist noch ganz zeitgemäß…

La Fattoria begeistert mit ihrer einladenden und authentischen Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und vor allem die hausgemachten Pastagerichte sind verdammt lecker. Beim Wein wird einem die ganze Flasche auf den Tisch gestellt jedoch muss man nur zahlen was man getrunken hat, was jedoch auch meistens dazu verleitet die ganze Flasche zu trinken und ich bin mir nicht sicher ob es jedesmal eine frisch geöffnete Flasche ist, das ist aber nur eine Mutmaßung. Der Service ist freundlich und unterhaltsam, auch wenn es bei vollem Betrieb etwas hektisch werden kann. Die einzigen Mankos sind die laute Geräuschkulisse im Innenbereich und die ausschließliche Barzahlung, die nicht ausreichend kommuniziert wird. Dennoch lohnt sich ein Besuch, besonders im Schannigarten.

Zum Essen: Ist wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Pasta mit viel Soße, Vorspeise und Fischgericht sind auch zu empfehlen. Wie gewohnt ein überschaubares Menü. Leider konnten wir das Essen aufgrund der Wärme im Innenbereich (bei regnerischem Wetter) nicht genießen. Die Klimaanlage würde am nächsten Tag repariert werden. Fenster können leider nicht geöffnet werden. Einrichtung ist sehr simpel mit Holzeinrichtung. Im Innenbereich ist die Geräuschkulisse sehr laut, sodass es recht schwierig ist sich zu unterhalten. Die KellnerInnen hatten viel zu tun, sodass der frühere Service, wie z.B. das Einschenken des bestellten Weines zum Probieren nicht mehr stattfindet. Generell muss der Gast sich selbst beim Personal melden, wenn etwas benötigt wird. Grundsätzlich würden wir die La Fattoria aufgrund des Essens noch einmal besuchen. Aber idealerweise draußen oder bei funktionierder Klimaanlage.

CASH ONLY!! Nowhere on their menu or restaurant does it mention this. We found out only at the end of the meal, at 9pm. The server took one of our IDs and made us come up with the amount in cash that day after all the banks had closed. Apparently he has told the owner this but they still have not put up any signs. Wasted an hour walking around hunting for ATMs just to pay. Food was good, but not with the headache we had to endure.

It’s such an amazing, warm and simple atmosphere at La Fattoria! Homemade pasta, very simple choice of appetizers, a flat rate for wine (and a very easy process if you don’t like a wine, no hard feelings what so ever). The Ambiente is small, so the reservation is absolutely necessary and there is no card payment (but for this there is almost always a little something in the house for every table).

The food is just amazing, the waiters extremely nice and thoughtful. We also got bruschetta and dessert on the house!

Das Essen ist wirklich super. Die kleine, wechselnde Karte ist gut und immer sorgfältig ausgeführt. Der Service ist nett und bemüht aber nicht immer auf der Höhe des Andrangs. Besonders der Bezahlvorgang (keine Kartenzahlung möglich) ist unnötig lang und umständlich. Drinnen ist es sehr laut, wenn man im Schannigarten sitzen kann ist es allerdings super.

Ein bisschen Italien in der Au, sehr gute Pasta, unkompliziertes Lokal und Publikum und besonders bemerkenswert der Top Service! Kamran & Alima waren die freundlichsten, flottesten und motiviertesten, die wir seit langem in München erlebt haben :)

Für die Atmosphäre beim guten Wetter kriegt ihr eindeutig einen Pluspunkt… Beim Rest habe ich leider schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Getränke kamen nach über 30 Minuten (und nach dem Essen), das Essen war allenfalls mittelmäßig und hatte kaum etwas von guten italienischen Pasta. Die Bedienung war maßlos überfordert und unterbesetzt, jede Bestellung wurde mehrfach vergessen und man musste seinen Wünschen am wahrsten Sinne des Wortes hinterherrennen. Es wird außer Barzahlung nichts akzeptiert – für das Jahr 2023 eine Zumutung. Hoffe dass der Geschäftsführer hier nachbessert.

Food was good. Cozy atmosphere but expect to pay cash only. This was not listed anywhere online or anywhere in the restaurant. We Had to find out once the bill came for a party of 4.

Sieht von außen eher unscheinbar aus… Ohne Schnick-Schnack, einfache Ausstattung, aber sauber und ordentlich. Das leckere Essen wird auf einer kleinen Karte präsentiert. Die Pasta ist klasse, die Vorspeisen auch. Es gibt genau eine Sorte Weiß- und eine Sorte Rotwein und am Ende aufs Haus für alle zusammen eine Dessertplatte. Freundlicher Service und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder, sehr empfehlenswert.

Since I am trying to be honest here, I am giving only 4 stars, because the place is good and inexpensive but not the best around. Good food but the presentation isn't super appealing. Service is a mixed bag, one example, we ordered white wine without being offered options and instead of glasses got a whole bottle without consent that we weren't allowed to try. But in the other side weren't charged for the dessert. Important information... This is a cash only place. Which isn't mentioned on the menu.

Einfache Fattoria mit seeeehr guter Trüffelpasta für 15 € (mittelgroße Portion) . Die Speisekarte ist nicht groß, aber es sollte für jeden was dabei sein. Achtung: nur Bargeld und nur Gesamtrechnung pro Tisch :( Wein gibts nur flaschenweise! Es wird abends ziemlich laut. Schade, dass das Restaurant keine Homepage hat.

Unprätentiös, sympathisch und authentisch. Der Gastraum kommt ohne Chichi aus, der Service liegt in der Hand vom Chef, die Gerichte sind fair im Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung, die Gäste wirken entspannt. Wenn‘s voll ist, wird es gerne mal etwas lauter - aber es ist immer eine positive Atmosphäre und man fühlt sich stets wohl. Die Karte bietet für jede*n etwas, egal ob vegetarisch, Fleisch oder Fisch. Der Wein wird vom Wirt selbst ausgesucht; eine Karte gibt es nicht. Das hat bei uns aber recht gut funktioniert :) Tipp: Die Fischsuppe! Wer keine Sperre gegenüber Tieren aus dem Wasser hat, wird hieran Freude haben 🐟

Einfach aber sehr nett. Gutes Essen, nur etwas zu kleine Portionen. Ich musste zweimal bestellen, weil ich nicht satt wurde, was ich etwas schade fand. Der Inhaber, der den kompletten Laden im Service alleine schmeißt ist eine Marke, etwas eigen, hat aber Charm. Die Nachspeisenplatte die aufs Haus auf den Tisch gestellt wurde war ein Traum. Vielleicht sollte man etwas Zeit mitnehmen, wir mussten wie's zum Zahlen ging etwas länger warten. Aber der Laden ist nett und ich werde wieder kommen, trotz der kleinen Eigenheiten - oder vielleicht gerade deswegen ;-)

Kleines, gemütliches, italienisches Restaurant spezialisiert auf Pasta zu vernünftigen Preisen. Unbedingt die Trüffelpasta & Vongole probieren. Der Service ist typisch Italienisch. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Klare Empfehlung 🤌🏻
