La familia Delli in Köln

A spontaneous visit on Saturday evening without a reservation was possible. The restaurant was lightly attended at 6:30 p.m.! Ambience very appealing. Service was attentive and drinks were brought quickly. The food, two main courses, were on the table after just under 8 minutes. Salad tasted like it had been in water all day. The baked goat cheese and the fish for the main course are available in the same quality at the discount store. The fish plate was very manageable. Criticism of quantity and quality was shrugged off. There will be no second visit. Too bad

We only ordered appetizers, catastrophic. This restaurant is not recommended... Far too expensive for this quality, which actually has no quality. We had some of the food returned.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, we were very disappointed with the food. My husband's grilled pork neck steak was very dry and the Calvados sauce was minimal (!). Yes, my husband could have said something directly…. My “skewer of pork fillet wrapped in bacon” (3 small pieces of meat / in the photo I had just cut one of them when I wanted to take a quick picture of it) was delicious, but the spinach was very acidic. I only had a funny blob of sauce, but it was given to me straight away at my request. In general the portions were manageable. We were there on Valentine's Day 2025. Another visit is out of the question for us. Sorry.

On 02.16.2025 I went to dinner and had a dish of fried sea bream fillet with spinach and rice but since I have health problems and am allergic to fried foods I asked the waiter if it could be done on the grill because I was allergic to fried foods and he kindly went into the kitchen to ask and I was told that it could be had after about 10 minutes and the dish arrived and the fillet was completely soaked in acidic oil and it smelled strange, I put it down and returned it saying that it wasn't what I had asked for. The poor waiter kindly didn't know what to say. I asked for the owner to come but no one showed up. They dumped everything on the waiter. In the end I didn't want to pay but I was able to pay anyway. People without dignity and I ended up in the hospital.

This was our third time at La Familia Delli and we were very satisfied every time! The food is consistently excellent - the tapas are not only varied, but also plentiful and a real highlight in terms of taste. We were particularly impressed by the warm atmosphere: the service is extremely friendly and the owner's open nature ensures a real feeling of well-being. A little Viva España 🇪🇦 in the middle of the old town of Ahrweiler! The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger, and in summer it is particularly nice on the terrace on the market square. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who wants authentic Spanish cuisine in a great atmosphere!

The starter came together with the main course, we had ordered a paella for two people on which half of the mussels were still closed. The waiter said you had to open them with a spoon, and the paella was completely over-seasoned with turmeric.

Ate paella today, conclusion: I would have preferred to eat a frozen version at home. Way too strongly seasoned and lots of closed mussels. Not recommended.

Today we ate at La Familia Delli in Ahrweiler. I had a rump steak with onions and mushrooms, sliced ​​potatoes and a specially ordered salad. There were only 8 small slices of potatoes on the plate. The rump steak was very good and the salad was crisp. Since the plate wasn't preheated, the food quickly got cold. The cutlery was of the cheapest kind. To fill me up, I ordered bacon-wrapped dates. These were very tasty. The staff tried hard, but unfortunately they were too overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The ambience was very good. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

It was definitely fresh bread at some point. Complaints were accepted as were the sticks of hard bread. When it came to the bill they were charged in full. Well, maybe we were thinking about tourists and they won't come back. The rest of the food is also really better. We won't be coming back

The two of us ate there on Halloween. Unfortunately, there wasn't that much going on for the company. Our tapas plate for two people was great. Everything was done to the point and still very hot in place. The female waiter was very nice. Right specialist. Never had to write anything down and the right thing always came out. Respect in this day and age. When she noticed that we were quite relaxed and humorous, we exchanged jokes with each other. We'd love to come back. Highly recommended.

There is friendly service here and if there are specific questions, the boss will be called. That's absolutely good, because not everyone knows everything. The wine selection is ok, as is the selection of food. Some of it is good, some of it is not... Not in terms of taste - because that is always subjective - but in terms of craftsmanship it is not always flawless. One main course, for example, was unfortunately very bitter due to "residual flavors" (caused by charred areas) and therefore not well made. The main course also came too early because the starter had not yet been eaten. Then you have both at the table at once and have to decide which should be cold. That can certainly be done better.

Ordered appetizers and Federweißer for a short break. I had the avocado cream with fresh bread. The cream was okay, I was looking forward to the fresh bread, but what came was three cold, burnt Sunday rolls like you would find in the supermarket. When asked about it, the waitress only responded with an “oja”. It's good that the region is rich in other gastronomy.

Danger! This supposed Spanish restaurant is fake. None of those present speak Spanish. It seems to be in Turkish hands and all that's missing is the kebab.

Unfortunately I can't recommend the food. We had the linguine with strips of beef. Everything was full of onions and the sauce was sour. Looked unappetizing too. I had a salad with goat cheese. Here too, the balsamic sauce was very sour and the salad was floating in the sauce and was therefore soft. The goat cheese breaded and tasteless. The service was friendly, but hectic. It's a shame, we were looking forward to the evening.

The sea bream fillet was still okay - although it should be classified as a children's menu - but the Ensalada el Nuez could be forgotten: the lettuce leaves were wilted and some of them had rotted black. Good the sprinkled nuts... Complaints were heard but received no comment or consequences.

The pimientos are the size of small pointed peppers, not properly fried all around, but rather charred on one side, the other side just warm. The sardines were not fried very carefully, many of them in pieces. The dates wrapped in bacon like you know them from the supermarket pack, a salad like you get everywhere... Spanish tapas are better known... The service was completely overwhelmed. Small group at the table, some have food, others have forgotten their food and delivered late when asked. And you really had to try for drinks...

Today there was a music event on the market square. It was very busy. The staff handled it very well. The stress was noticeable, but the staff solved everything with charm and kindness. Admirable. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was perfect. The very good atmosphere of the family business is noticeable.

We had different tapas. Actually pretty good with a few exceptions. The prawns in garlic oil were way too light and not of good quality. The tortilla was more of an omelet with far too few potatoes in it. So still expandable. Everything else was delicious and plentiful too. The aioli was delicious but far too expensive for this single bowl. Almost every Spaniard gets this amount for free, including bread The service was very nice and friendly

Because we liked it so much, we went there two days in a row, once at lunchtime and once in the evening. Both times it was delicious and the staff was very friendly. With two tapas dishes per person, we were pleasantly full both times.

Good Spanish restaurant in a historic building in the center of Ahrweiler. The tapas menu is a bit clear compared to other Spanish restaurants, but sufficient, very tasty and good value for money. The service was friendly and very attentive. A small drawback is the lack of sound on the ground floor and first floor due to the large open gallery.

A Spanish restaurant in Ahrweiler. Located directly in the pedestrian zone. At the market square. A large hall, a vaulted cellar and plenty of outside seating. Also suitable for larger groups. The service was friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food was very good. The shrimp marinated in chili oil were the tastiest. Delicious tapas. Big portion. The price-performance ratio is okay. Card payment is possible. We will definitely go here again when we are in Bad Neuenahr again.

Es hat in den letzten 7 Jahren schon einige Gastronomen in dieser wirklich schönen Location gegeben aber IHR ÜBERTREFFT ALLE!! Die Qualität Eurer Speisen ist exclusiv und JEDESMAL überzeugend. Im Frühling/Sommer und bis in den Herbst hinein, sitzt man hier wirklich in einer schönen Umgebung. Hoffen das Ihr "länger bleibt" als Eure Vorgänger denn was Ihr anbietet ist: Spitze. Lieber "2 Euro mehr" bezahlt aber dafür gute Qualität bekommen. Lg

Leckerer Salat, Tapas mit Pilzen sehr gut, Tortilla (einfache Variante, also ohne Fleischzulage etc, kann man auch wählen) sehr gut gelungen. Der Nachtisch war eine sehr schöne Überraschung: Mandelkuchen bestellt, und was haben wir bekommen! Siehe Fotos. Lecker war es obendrein. Eine sehr nette und humorvolle Bedienung, die sich alles was man aufgibt auswendig merkt !! Und das bei einer Gruppe von 15 Leuten! Wir werden sicher wieder hingehen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Autobahn nebenan fällt von der Lautstärke her gar nicht auf, weil ein großer Damm dazwischen liegt.
