Great service and great food. We felt comfortable.

First of all, I would have liked to give it a full 5 stars! I was very happy with the food. I had the fall menu with duck, a very nice combination of Japanese and French flavors. An easy-drinking open Riesling and a pleasant open Merlot accompanied the menu. Unfortunately, it was hardly possible to communicate with one of the friendly service staff due to a lack of language skills. With such a great meal and the standards of the restaurant, I would have liked cloth napkins. My friendly remark to the other service person was commented on with a derogatory "Pfff" - a shame...

The ox cheeks were very good. Unfortunately, the burger didn't really impress me. The patty was fried nice and pink, but quite dry. Unfortunately, the fries that came with it were too soaked in fat. I would like to see more vegetarian options, including for the starters, that don't necessarily contain bread. For example, the delicious mushroom ravioli as a single component would be great.

8 of us spent a very nice evening in the bistro. Food was great, especially the venison and porcini mushroom ravioli, but the sharing platter was also a great idea. We were also allowed to stay as long as we wanted! The only point of improvement from our point of view would be the service. We could have asked more whether we would like something more to drink or whether it was tasty.

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, dieses kleine, aber äußerst charmante französische Restaurant zu besuchen, und es hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Küche ist einfach exzellent – jedes Gericht war ein Genuss für die Sinne. Kein Wunder also, dass das Restaurant stets gut besucht ist. Eine Reservierung im Voraus ist daher absolut empfehlenswert, um sicherzugehen, dass man auch einen Platz bekommt. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und so herzlich, wie man es heutzutage selten erlebt. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team, das es geschafft hat, uns von Anfang bis Ende perfekt zu umsorgen. Besonders der Inhaber, Donald, hat einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen – mit seiner warmherzigen und persönlichen Art schafft er eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Ein Highlight, das wir so noch nicht kannten, ist die Möglichkeit, erstklassige Weine aus 5-Liter-Flaschen in einer 0,5-Liter-Karaffe zu bestellen. So konnten wir hervorragende französische Weine genießen, ohne gleich eine ganze Flasche kaufen zu müssen. Eine wirklich kundenfreundliche Idee, die uns sehr beeindruckt hat! Zum Abschluss möchten wir noch den besonderen Rum erwähnen, der nicht nur serviert, sondern auch zum Kauf angeboten wird – perfekt für alle, die ein besonderes Mitbringsel suchen oder sich selbst etwas gönnen möchten. Leider war unser Besuch in Schwerin nur kurz, aber falls wir jemals wieder in die Gegend kommen, steht dieses Restaurant ganz oben auf unserer Liste. Ein wahrer Geheimtipp für alle, die authentische französische Küche und eine gastfreundliche Atmosphäre schätzen!

This year the two of us stayed at La Bouche. The service was quick as usual. Unfortunately they no longer had “Butchers Cut” on offer, which is why I actually came back. The substitute smell "roast beef strips on tagliatelle with truffle sauce" was not to my taste at all. Why did this delicious sauce with truffle have to be messed up? Without those stinky mushrooms it would have been a great dish. Well, whoever likes it... As a digestif, I ordered the rum drink that you make yourself and took a bottle with me. I can recommend the extremely tender “Boeuf Bourguignon”. Unfortunately there is no longer the fantastically good “Butchers Cut”🥲 that has been taken off the menu 🤷‍♂️.

We ate here yesterday, it was just a dream and if I could have, I would have given it 10 stars. We had the autumn menu as well as the mountain lentil soup, salad with goat cheese and the mousse au chocolat... the taste experience of herbs and fresh Ingredients was simply a delight, we only noticed the Michelin awards 6 years in a row at the end of our visit, but they are absolutely justified! We will definitely come back on our next visit

We can only describe our culinary experience from last night in one word: perfect, it couldn't be better! From the starter to the dessert, everything was delicious! The waitress was very attentive and gave us very good advice about the wine… We will certainly come back.

I had the fresh pasta with porcini mushroom truffle sauce and it was tasteless and annoying - a roux with porcini mushroom flavor and there was little taste of truffles. The appetizer platter wasn't good either. We didn't like the cold grilled vegetables. Two slices of mortadella and Bayonne ham couldn't save the starter either. I can only praise the service very much. Rarely have we experienced such attentive service.

We were there for the first time and reserved 2 places in advance. Unfortunately we only had the choice of sitting outside in the middle of the street or sharing a table outside with 2 other people. We would have liked a little more privacy. 🫤 Our table also wobbled a lot, which made eating a little difficult. However, the food was excellent.😍 We both had the menu and were delighted with the culinary delights. The service was very nice. We'll be back, but we're hoping for much better places.

We recently dined at this restaurant and had mixed experiences. Unfortunately, the waiter was rude when ordering the drinks, which dampened the mood at the beginning of the evening. The food itself was mostly good, although the Wagyu steak we ordered was unfortunately under-salted, which affected the taste somewhat. The mousse au chocolat was tasty, but didn't quite live up to our expectations. Overall, a mixed experience that unfortunately wasn't completely convincing due to the poor service and small weaknesses in the kitchen.

What can I say, a spectacular dinner. We are welcomed with extreme kindness, everyone in the service is friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. The environment is very nice, the decorations carefully chosen, the background music very pleasant (volume among other things is ideal, it allows you to have your own privacy and talk calmly). There isn't much to say about the dishes other than: a perfect mix of flavors and combinations. We took the 4-course menu. Balance, innovation and freshness. I particularly appreciate the flexibility of the team and the kitchen in modifying a couple of dishes since I was pregnant. For the first time in a very long time, I experienced the kindness, quality and tranquility of a gastronomy that is increasingly difficult to find. I sincerely thank the entire team for a wonderful evening. See you soon!

Everything was right here! We were there spontaneously at lunchtime and decided while we were eating that we would come back in the evening. Even though it was a Saturday and everything was “actually” fully booked, the owner still found a way to accommodate us. Really good food at reasonable prices in a friendly environment. Gladly again.

Friendly, attentive service, the best cocktails in town, conjured up by the boss himself. Regardless of whether it was meat, fish, vegetarian, etc. everything was on point and delicious, and there were also good, selected wines. Absolutely recommend this restaurant, a MUST when visiting Schwerin. You should also definitely try the in-house RUM 😉👍

The service man was ill mannered, rude, impatient, rolled his eyes at the guest, put his head close to the guest's ear, touched the guest's shoulder, said he didn't speak English, yelled at the guest and dared the guest to get out. Ordered pasta steinpilz-trüffelrahm chicken, I received burnt chicken and soy sauce fried noodles that were completely inedible. Very unpleasant experience.

If you are in the old town of Schwerin, you should definitely stop by there. The boss is an innkeeper with heart and soul, the chef is a little god and the staff is very good. Much praised, Our experience on Whitsun weekend at 7 p.m. was less impressive. We didn't choose the menu but put something together a la carte. Boulabaise, mixed starter platter, truffle pasta and a Beouf Bourguignone as well as a1 dessert, a bottle of Malbec. The soup without salt, the vegetables straight from the freezer, the truffle pasta with a good dose of truffle oil from the chemical plant, which was asked about by the table next door because of the smell, and the dessert is worth mentioning especially because of its appearance. The Argentine Malbec is a real ray of hope. The service was completely disinterested, as there were obviously no locals but tourists at the tables around us. Better not to visit on a public holiday.

If you like, you should definitely order the gin and tonic. The staff is very friendly and authentic. Definitely a thumbs up and 5 stars.

Great food in a great atmosphere and perfect service! I ate the house-seared salmon as a starter, two types of Wagyu beef as my main course and small dessert variations for dessert. The whole thing as a menu. The house-made rum was perfect as a digestive! If I come to Schwerin again, this restaurant will be my first choice!
