Without exaggeration: A super friendly welcome, a fantastic host, a wonderful atmosphere, fabulous pinsa, excellent pasta, delicious truffles, and a creamy Parmesan wheel. We love it and always enjoy coming back, even from a long drive, because it's simply worth it to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Ciao Gino.

La Bottega is a lovely Italian restaurant that you should not miss if you're in town Metzingen. Let's talk about their interior decorations and design first, it's warm and cozy, some old white goods blended into the decorations, particularly there's a shelf hanging so many different types of spoons, what a nice and creative idea. About the food, I ordered cappuccino and tuna tornado as appetizers, both light while rich, served along with La Bottega house salad. For the main dish, I choose Pasta Parmesan, which the chef stirred the hot boiled pasta in the parmesan wheel, and cut the truffle before serving, OMG, it smelled so good, and it gives you a sweet taste while perfectly blended into your mouth.

Original Italian restaurant. Good vibes are there. Recommended

We visited the restaurant at the beginning of August. The pasta is delicious, especially the fresh pasta with sausage. The other dishes are delicious, too. Gino's pinsa is also delicious. All in all, a gastronomic treat after shopping in Metzingen. The owner was very kind and found us a table in less than five minutes.

La Bottega is and remains the best restaurant in the entire Bad Dürrheim area. The entire staff deserves high praise. They're kind-hearted people, and above all, the food is a 10/10. There's nothing to complain about. To anyone vacationing here, I wholeheartedly recommend you stop by and have a bite to eat. Best wishes✌🏽

A very nice restaurant with an incredibly great ambiance. A very friendly and welcoming welcome. The starters were excellent and only heightened our expectations for the main course, which, however, didn't live up to them. As the main course wore on, the attentiveness of the service also decreased over time. All in all, a great restaurant, but I don't think the current 4.9 stars are entirely justified. Theoretically, there's not much room for improvement above 4.9 stars, but at La Bottega, there was still room for improvement during our visit! Best wishes and (at least) keep up the good work! 👍🏼

eigentlich ein wirklich netter Ort für gutes Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre und ein sehr freundlicher Inhaber und Gastgeber - augenscheinlich... Denn Anspruch und Wirklichkeit passen leider weder preislich noch vom Gesamtpaket zusammen. Das Essen ist durchaus gut und lecker gekocht - allerdings sind die Preise für die Portionsgröße ziemlich unpassend und die Weinpreise auch sehr stattlich. Und wenn - wie bei uns - etwas anders an den Tisch gebracht wird als bestellt wurde, wurde es anstandslos und freundlich getauscht. Die Rotweine wurden leider kühlschrankkalt serviert, in Summe war der Gastraum eher kühl (fast ungeheizt) und na ja - wie soll man sagen - die WC's passen schon gar nicht zum Ambiente des Gastraumes (vorsichtig ausgedrückt). Wer handwerklich gutes Essen schätzt und bereit ist, dafür sehr viel Geld zu bezahlen, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Und nachdem meine Google Rezension tatsächlich mit dem Vorwurf der Diffamierung (ich habe "nur" 3 Sterne vergeben) beanstandet wurde (in Google werden nur die 4 & 5 Sterne Bewertungen in der Zusammenfassung angezeigt - wenn man aktiv nach den "niedrigsten" filtert, tauchen auf einmal einige hinweisgebende 1 & 2 & 3 Sterne Bewertungen auf), habe ich mich entschlossen, auch auf TripAdvisor zu schreiben - fair und ehrlich - so wie wir es empfunden haben. Damit ist klar, was ich oben mit "augenscheinlich" meine. Denn hier wird scheinbar mit einer gewissen Absicht und entsprechendem Aufwand ein ganz bestimmtes Bild in Google aktiv aufrecht erhalten. Schade. Würden Qualität, Auftreten, Preise und die Atmosphäre wirklich gut zusammen passen, würde das gewünschte "Bild" auf Google von ganz alleine entstehen - ähnlich diesem hier auf TripAdvisor

Very comfortable and only recommended

Quite a nice place with very friendly service and a very nice owner, quite good (if not particularly exciting) cuisine at quite exorbitant prices for the portions served, the red wines are served almost ice cold, it is very fresh in the dining room and the washrooms are virtually unheated. It was a lovely evening - whether we want to go there again... I think there are too many alternatives that offer a more harmonious overall package.

Dear friends of fine culinary highlights. We went to La Bottega after visiting the Metzingen outlet and were thrilled. As an antipasto we definitely recommend trying Vitello Tonnato and for the main course we chose homemade pasta all arrabiata. Tip: We added Gamberetti to the main course and were enchanted by the taste. The ambience is wonderful and resembles an artist's studio with attention to wine and details. Big thanks for the brilliant evening. Try it out!

Nice, cozy, warm, kind and good food. My go-to when visiting Metzingen. This is a place I always go to when I come to Metzingen, but rarely do they actually have cheese drums and the taste isn't bad.

We went indoors for dinner on a weekend. The restaurant was 3/4 full, spread between the outdoor and indoor areas. The ambience and service were great. Unfortunately there is a point deduction because of one of the main dishes. With the Pulpo, the thick initial piece was tough but became excellent towards the middle. Unfortunately, the pulpo also came without the thin, crispy end. Maybe it's a small peculiarity... Otherwise, the food was excellent, especially the vegetables/potatoes with the pulpo were very tasty. The portions could be larger. Despite 3 courses I wasn't completely full. Update 2024 Both the pulpo dish (crispy ending) and the portion sizes were masterclass. Therefore full stars! A great culinary enrichment in Metzingen and the surrounding area.

Food delicious. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes for the menu before we could order drinks and food. Both came quickly. However, no service staff came to our table the whole evening (we were there from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). In addition, it was extremely loud due to a company party right at the next table, so we could only talk while sitting close together. The highlight, however, was the waitress's response to our polite criticism: "Then we'll just have to eat somewhere else!" And that's exactly how we'll do it!

Maybe we were just unlucky, but our evening at la Bottega was very disappointing. Next to us, a large table was reserved for 20 boss employees. It was very loud, we could hardly have a conversation at the next table. In addition, the service is completely focused on the group. It took 25 minutes until we could order, the food and drinks came quickly. The food tasted good too. After the removal was done, no one cared about us for the next 90 minutes. Our factual criticism that the other guests felt impaired and neglected by the group was ironed out with the comment: "then we'll just have to look for another restaurant".

Because of the good reports, we, a group of 6, tried La Bottega in Metzingen. The ambience is ostensibly okay. Unfortunately, this restaurant couldn't convince us at all that evening - there was no service. A large group was already in the restaurant, so the noise level was so high that it was difficult to have a conversation. The waitress only brought us a drink and our food once over 3 hours. For the rest of the evening we were “ignored” by not even asking if we wanted something more to drink. When we paid, we asked the boss about it, and the only comment we received was that we could have said something and that this probably wouldn't be the right restaurant for us if we didn't see it that way. I have never experienced such rejection. For a classy restaurant, the proper response would have been: oh, we're sorry. How about a grappa on the house. Then everything would have been okay. But apparently people here place more value on business lunches from big fashion companies and the normal guest is not that important and worth making an effort for. Very unfortunate. We won't go here anymore.

If you get a place, it's a guarantee of a nice evening, but unfortunately it's not that easy because it gets very crowded very early. Food, service and ambience are all great.

We arrived very late after an event last night and the kitchen was actually about to call it a day, but still conjured up some very tasty bruschette and pinsa for us! Thank you, that was sooooo kind, thank you! You make me feel very comfortable, really fantastic!

Extrem leckeres Essen, sehr guter und netter Service, und eine gute Atmosphäre - definitiv einen Besuch wert! Insbesondere die Aubergine Parmegiana als Vorspeise und die Gnocchi und Spaghetti Parmegiana als Hauptspeise sind zu empfehlen.

Excellent culinary discovery - "La Bottega" It was a gastronomic discovery of the highest level, the restaurant "La Bottega"! Found it during an internet search, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal there one evening and we weren't disappointed. For a starter I ordered a burrata with Mediterranean vegetables, which was tastefully balanced and refreshing. My wife enjoyed a bruschetta on pinsa bread, which she also enjoyed. For the main course we chose fresh pasta with gamberetti and vongole. A success across the board, perfectly prepared and wonderfully aromatic. We would also like to praise the staff and the manager of the restaurant. They were extremely friendly and competent, contributing to a pleasant overall experience. Your attentiveness and knowledge of the menu and ingredients further enriched our dining experience. We will definitely visit “La Bottega” again. Friendly, not intrusive and asked after the starter without prompting whether we wanted the main course immediately or whether we wanted to wait a little longer. He also immediately switched to English when he realized that my wife spoke English. We would like to come again.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da. Alles was man bekommt, ist sorgfältig vorbereitet und ist lecker. Die Preise sind überdurchschnittlich aber klar: Qualität kostet. Einziger Fehler: ein Gericht war zu salzig. Das kann aber passieren, wenn man alles just in time vorbereitet.

Wir waren zum Abendessen in dem gemütlichen Restaurant. Aufmerksamer, freundlicher und sehr zuvorkommender Service. Die bestellten Speisen waren sehr lecker und sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Der Salat war extrem frisch, die Tiramisu perfekt. Wenn wir wieder in Metzingen sind, werden wir wieder kommen.
