The food is always delicious, but unfortunately the host (=reception) is not at all guest-oriented and seems as if he doesn't care about anything. We already had that feeling on our last visit. Now we were there with 4 adults and 2 children (2.5 and 3.5 years) and had reserved. We would only have been allowed to sit on the terrace if 6 of us had sat down at a table that was intended for 2 (then we wouldn't have been able to eat...), but unfortunately it wasn't possible to put the tables together. I would have understood if everything had been full, but unfortunately there were constantly 8 empty tables in the area where we wanted to sit. The visit wasn't fun and embarrassing when we recommend the restaurant, go with the in-laws, pay them and then experience something like that. Unfortunately it's too loud inside. So we just ate quickly and had a drink. It's a shame and I would like the person to be replaced because some of the service staff there are much friendlier. I hope that there is no explanation regarding escape routes like in another review I just read. Because, on the one hand, there was no passage or anything similar where we wanted to sit and, on the other hand, we felt slightly ripped off when we were offered a table for 4 and 2 pushed together inside... I come from a service background and I've never experienced anything like that .

A year later, there again on the same day with the same group in the evening after Gamescom. The place hasn't changed, good and fast service, delicious food and pizzas that are way too big. The carbonara is especially good. The price performance isn't bad either.

Six of us wanted to eat out there today because the weather was nice. When asked if we could push two tables together, we replied with an uninterested “No, but you can occupy two tables.” wow! So if you are more than 4 people, you won't be able to eat outside there. We then had to eat somewhere else.

Bad service. We sat at a dirty table for 15 minutes. At some point the waitress called over: you can also sit at a clean table. But these were all too small for our large group. When we asked if we could at least have the tickets, we were told “Yes, wait a minute, please”. Another 10 minutes passed and we saw the waitress cleaning several empty tables where no one was sitting. There were only a few guests in the local at the time. We then got up and left.

What can you say, our favorite family pizza is here. And the salad with vegetarian “chicken” must also be on the table regularly.

Everything is perfect, the only problem is that the room is big and open for such a beautiful establishment....the empty tables and the utensils are never collected...unfortunately, it's annoying.

Nice service staff The food fresh and hot and delicious

Our family is staying at the hotel down the street. We stopped and had one of the best meals we have had. The pizza was great but the pasta was spectacular and the baileys tiramisu was outstanding. We absolutely loved our evening with fabulous service and a great evening outside on the patio. We will be back again.

Very nice atmosphere, we go there very often with children! The food always tastes simply delicious, the service is always very nice and friendly!!! Many thanks to all the employees who work here!!! Addendum: As so often, we had dinner here again today with children. You can now see that savings are being made on dishes here too. The pasta has less sauce, the pizza has less toppings... But it still tastes pretty good... Today we were extremely dissatisfied with the service... There was a hair in the pizza, not on the pizza, but in the dough. But since we were regular customers and this was the first time, I asked the service when I was clearing it I kindly pointed out, let them know in the kitchen, pay more attention and showed the hair... Then the question came: "Is it from us?" and the service was gone... We had to ask three times to be allowed to pay, hoping that an apology would come when paying, unfortunately in vain. Sorry, I worked as a server myself for years, a hair has no place in food, but we are human and unfortunately things like this still happen. An apology should come automatically in such a case, but it was apparently unnecessary here... That's not possible, we can't understand that, it's a shame!

I was very disappointed with my visit to L’Osteria Mülheim Cologne. The food may be good, but the service was extremely unfriendly and impolite. The waitress didn't seem interested in helping us or answering our questions. You looked in vain for a smile or a kind word. The waitress was very unsympathetic. I definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately I can't recommend this experience.

The Frutti di Mare pizza could have been topped with a little more seafood. While this is still a matter of taste, it is really unpleasant that L'Osteria napkins are flying around the outside area of ​​the restaurant and the surrounding area. The waitresses didn't seem to care - at least no one picked up the napkins (which couldn't be overlooked). There was a light wind, yes. But the weather conditions weren't such that we couldn't keep up with the clean-up because of the storm. In our opinion, the staff simply didn't care or didn't see it as their job to pick up the napkins.

Beautiful place, everything is fresh and natural

I would have liked to write a proper review, unfortunately that's not possible because the order still hasn't arrived after 1 hour. After asking twice, the answer came that the order had not been forwarded, there was a system error or something like that was the answer. I work in the catering industry myself. If I'm serving a table and notice that after a certain time (you know roughly when the dishes should be ready) the food is still not there, that should definitely be noticeable! In addition, sewer smells blow by from time to time, you should know that. You can rate the 1 star because the waiter was very polite.

We just visited quite late and were greeted in a very friendly manner with a big grin and brought to the table. Our service mouse was extremely accommodating and brought us different oils to our pizzas so we could dip the crust (insider tip if you eat pizza at L'Osteria). All in all we really liked it. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the whole team. :)

Zu Essen gab es Bruschetta, Nudeln und Panna Cotta. Die Nudeln und das Panna Cotta waren super lecker und würden sogar 5/5 Sterne bekommen. Lediglich das Bruschetta hat mich nicht ganz überzeugt, war etwas zu fad. Die Bedienungen waren sehr nett und schnell. Preis - Leistung ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Sitzen kann man hier sehr gut und es hat ein gemütliches Flair.

I was there three weeks ago. I won't come back. The employees are slow and don't care at all. The three of us left after an overpriced coffee because no one “managed” to take our food order. The store was only half full...We ran to the checkout because no one even wanted to come and cash out. A Ma called the Ma to cashier and he deliberately took his time and cleaned tables until he had to get to the entrance. Once and never again…

Typical L'Osteria. All good and tasty. However, the service was only worth 3 stars.

I was at the Losteria in Mülheim today on May 20th, 2024 around 5:30 p.m. It's a sunny day and I wanted to dine under the sun. Until the waiter came to me and said that I couldn't sit there. I asked him to allow me to sit under the sun because I think “customer is king”. He reacted by not even answering me, went in and came out with the operations manager. The operations manager said this side was closed, even though a family was sitting next to me. So please, I've eaten with you often enough and left so much money for a meal, then is it too much to ask if I want to sit under the sun on a sunny Monday? That was the last time that I went to the Losteria Köln Mülheim under the leadership of the current operations manager. Best regards

Wir waren vor einem Konzert hier, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell obwohl der Laden voll war und eine lange Schlange draußen vor der Tür stand. Die Pizza war echt lecker, toll ist... das man auch nur eine halbe Pizza bestellen kann, die Preise finde ich in Ordnung.

Nice location, friendly staff, except for the one terrible incompetent, unfriendly and cheeky woman!!!! She wasn't able to take my order properly! She was unfriendly! She came to the table and asked if everyone already knew what they wanted. I said to her, "I can get started." She said, "Nope... then I have to come back and take the order again, and the others get the order first later “that was strange for me!” She tried to speak to me in a way that she can't even speak to her children at home! I listed the ingredients of what I want, nope, not the other way around! Then I said to her, “I speak German, what’s so difficult about that?!” She wasn’t able to remember or write it down! And finally “yes, now you have to pay for tomatoes twice” because she had to double tap for both halves.. as if I cared that I paid €2 more for a bill of €110 plus a €10 tip…!!!! Only the unfriendliness was unacceptable!!! She also brought dirty glasses and we pointed out that she was particularly cheeky! Afterwards, other waitresses came and served us wonderfully and in a very friendly manner, the manner and tone was great. And the toilets were very clean, pleasant atmosphere. So the store was ok, very nice and detailed. The boss really made an effort, you can see that. But someone wants to destroy it, that's not possible! So all the employees are very friendly… except for this one.

Service langsam und überhaupt nicht zuvorkommend. Tisch wurde nicht abgeräumt. Lange Wartezeiten fürs Essen. Essen kam dann auch noch kalt an. Nach dem zurückgeben, wurde uns die pasta öffentlich in der Pfanne aufgewärmt zurück gegeben, inklusive angebissene Fleischstücke. Für eine 18€ Pasta unmöglich. Als wir uns dann beim vorgesetzten beschwert hatten, wurde wir mit der begründung „Ja ist heute dumm gelaufen“ und „man hat als Restaurant ein Verbesserungsversuch“ abgewimmelt. Sehr enttäuschend und ich werde nicht mehr wiederkommen.

It one of the best pizza food chain in Germany. I mostly visit this places whenever I am looking for Pizza. Pizza size is big so one Pizza is enough for one person or you can share between two. Overall its cheap and good option for pizza lovera

Great Italian restaurant with a super cozy atmosphere. Both pizza and pasta taste great, with my favorite being the “Orecchiette Di Manzo al Limone”. My friends and I love L'osteria in Mühlheim. The food is great and there is always good music playing. But the highlight is our favorite condition, Merry. We often don't know what we want to eat and she always gives us so good advice. Plus she is so evilly friendly. So it is highly recommended!!!!

Was there with friends and Danny does his waiter job A1, very good service 👍🏼 The only thing that annoyed me was that my lasagne, at the same price as the pizzas, looked like a child's portion and was therefore not even remotely filling. L 'Osteria urgently needs to work on this.

Service in the beginning was fast, drinks quickly and the menu and food ordered quickly. After the starter, the bruschetta, we had to wait a very long time for our main course (pizza). After 45 minutes we said something about it, and we noticed that we were not the only ones who had run out of patience. The ministry was running. The waiter's response to our question about where the pizza was took the cake: “yes, that's because you ordered a starter”. (Couple next to us also had a starter and had already finished their main course). In short, worthless. We don't understand why Google gives a good review.

This L'osteria stands out from the other branches with its beautiful, cozy atmosphere and outdoor area. The only L'osteria I like to go to, just because of the service {Mary}. A very attentive, loving and courteous waitress. Always has a smile on his face :) Very helpful with the selection, the stress is not noticeable.

The pizza is a must when visiting Losteria. Thin crispy and big. I can particularly recommend the Prosciutto Crudo pizza. The dried chic tastes very good (tip: ask for the garlic and chili oil with it). The staff was very friendly and quick. We didn't have to wait long for the food either.
