Hi, we went out for lunch today as a couple and it was fantastic. It was nice and quiet at lunchtime, the service was friendly, and the food was excellent. Everything was clean and tidy. It was a wonderful lunch. Thank you!

We had to wait over an hour for two pizzas, and that was way too long. We ordered two almost identical pizzas, but the difference in taste couldn't have been greater. One was generously topped, while the other had hardly any cheese, even though it was supposed to have extra mozzarella. It was just dough with a little tomato sauce. A real disappointment. For us, this was definitely the last time.

Delicious food, good service in a cool location. A bit noisy, but that's due to the open-plan design of the building. It's manageable, though.

We had reserved a table at the restaurant, but we were given a tiny one where one of us practically had the edge of the counter pressed against the back of our head. We also felt a draft every time the door opened. The table was really small and offered far too little space, especially considering the size of the pizzas. The restaurant was quite full, and the noise level was enormous. At times, you couldn't even have a conversation without someone two tables away overhearing. It wasn't a "lively atmosphere," it was simply loud. The food itself was good, but it took quite a while. We had to wait a considerable amount of time for drinks and appetizers, and the two pizzas themselves didn't arrive for an hour and 20 minutes. At one point, we felt like we'd been forgotten. The appetizers and pizzas were tasty, but one pizza was rather sparsely topped. The ridiculously small plate (apparently intentional, according to some comments here?) with its very large, thin pizzas on the much too small table made cutting and eating them quite difficult at times. When we finished, the plates were practically snatched away from our hands and the leftovers were packed up, apparently because they needed the space. No one asked if we needed or wanted anything else. We paid promptly and left; it didn't feel very nice. Conclusion: Good food in a very noisy restaurant that prioritizes cramming in more people over a cozy and relaxed dining experience. We'll probably only order takeout from here again.

The "restaurant" had all the charm of a train station waiting room; it was so dark the menu was unreadable. It was incredibly noisy, making conversation impossible. You bumped into the person at the next table while sitting. Since the server was unable to brighten the lights, which had been dimmed just a few minutes earlier, it was impossible to read the menu, so we left.

We went out for dinner earlier with our Tedi team of six. Everyone was completely satisfied; in our opinion, everything was perfect. No suggestions for improvement, unlike your colleagues in Oberhausen – everything was top-notch here too. Keep up the great work, and we'll see you again next year. We went there for breakfast brunch on Christmas Day. The food was good, the service was okay. When we made the reservation, we indicated that we would like to stay until 10:15 or 1:00 PM, and this was confirmed. At 11:20 AM, a waiter came and told us we had to leave because the table was being reassigned. There were 12 adults and 4 children. We initially said no, we hadn't even been there for two hours, and besides, that wasn't what we had agreed upon. The waiter came again and told us that the manager wouldn't charge us for three meals if we left as compensation, but we definitely couldn't stay. We left. One thing we know for sure: we won't be coming back. It was like being thrown out.

We had a family Christmas get-together today. A table was reserved from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for 15 people plus children. Some of us came from as far away as Goch, Münster, and other places. At 11:30 AM, we were told we had to vacate the table because it was now occupied by someone else. 😡 As compensation, we were offered free brunch for three people (worth about €50). Absolutely unbelievable, especially at Christmas! Thankfully, a family member lives nearby, and we were able to continue our gathering there. We will not be coming back.

The visit to L’Osteria in Emmerich was overall pleasant, though not without small flaws. The interior stood out immediately with its warm and comfortable atmosphere, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The menu offered a good variety of Italian dishes, and everything smelled and looked appetizing. The home-made bread was a real highlight—fresh, soft, and full of flavor, clearly made with care. The coffee that followed was solid, nothing extraordinary but satisfying enough to round off the meal. The only downside was the service, which felt slow and inexperienced at times. The staff were friendly but seemed unsure and a bit overwhelmed, which led to some waiting and small delays. Despite that, the overall experience remained positive, mainly because of the cozy atmosphere and tasty food. With a bit more training for the service team, this place could easily become one of the best casual dining spots in the area.

Today was my first time going to brunch. First off, the table I was assigned was covered in stains, there was no tablecloth, and the chairs were deep, worn-out armchairs – I would never have gotten out of there. There was no vinegar or oil on the table, and no sugar either. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. No prosciutto, nothing special. The sausage was supermarket fare, nothing to write home about. No pane e corbett, not even the best kind. Used plates sat around forever; only after I called out did someone finally bother to clear them away. They tried to do an Italian thing, but it didn't really work. Okay, it was cheap, but that's about it. You're better off going to the Turkish place on Hoffmanallee.

The food tasted good, and there was a good selection. Coffee and mulled wine were included with the brunch. We were disappointed that there was neither water nor juice at the buffet (we haven't experienced this in other restaurants). The service was friendly, but clearing the tables was a bit of a stumbling block. The staff didn't manage to do it properly today, even though the restaurant wasn't busy and they walked past our table several times. The atmosphere was more like a train station waiting room. This became noticeable as the restaurant got busier, due to the noise level.

We ate here once in 2022. We really enjoyed it. Today, June 16, 2025, we ate here again. To our surprise, we saw a vegan pizza on the menu, which we hadn't noticed in 2022, so we tried it today. It tasted great. The pizzas are very large. I couldn't finish mine, but my husband, a big eater, volunteered to eat the rest of mine. That's not to say he wasn't satisfied with his, because one is usually more than enough for him too. But he liked it so much that he wanted the rest of my pizza. The service is very friendly. We'll definitely come back here in the future.

Of course, the evenings before Christmas are a whole other story... it affects both the speed of service and the overall mood. What's good: - The food is delicious and doesn't spoil due to the influx of guests. The pizza is fresh; we always order half and half, and as a result, we get six flavors out of three pizzas. - Children are given coloring books and crayons. - The waiters manage to smile even when the children break glasses... What could be improved: 1. Provide a pencil sharpener or sharpen pencils. Overall, it might be worth considering the idea of ​​a children's corner. 2. One of the pizzas was burnt, and they still served it. I asked for a remake, and they did, but overall, such a pizza wouldn't have been served at a normal time. I'm blaming it on New Year's. 3. I placed my order and asked for an Aperol Spritz. Then immediately (30 seconds later) I said, "No, I don't want alcohol, please give me juice and water." No, they said. We've already ordered. They saw my wide eyes and said, okay, we've cancelled the Aperol, we'll have the Schorle. But they brought the Aperol... And we waited about 20-25 minutes for the drinks. It's hard for kids to handle that. Next time, when I pre-order on holidays, I'll ask for water to be brought to the table right away. And they served the pizza in a really weird way: not four slices, not eight, but strangely crooked. One slice was huge, the other small... I had to cut it later, with knives not designed for that. Inconvenient. But a freshly baked pizza with thin crust straight from the oven fixed everything.

The place was too loud and drafty. Our server was moody; perhaps the others are friendlier. The non-alcoholic Martini aperitif was good. The pizza arrived, but the cutlery came 2-3 minutes later! The side bread was square, 6 cm!, soggy and stale. After more than 5 minutes, the server finally came—this time a friendly one—who, after my complaint, at least had the bread toasted. The food was so-so in terms of value for money, but the vitello toffee tasted good. However... I know friendlier, more delicious, and cozier Italian restaurants in Kleve with better, more cheerful service.

Everything was as expected after booking. The service was friendly, and there was nothing to complain about regarding the food and drinks. We'd gladly return.

If you like it loud, this is the place for you. Drinks and food arrived fairly quickly – but that was about it. To further increase the noise level in the completely packed restaurant, background music was playing. Ordering a second round of drinks was not possible. When clearing our plates, we were asked directly about dessert, but not if we wanted anything else. Even sitting sideways at the table and looking to the server for help was pointless. I also found it odd that you have to specifically ask for a receipt.

I go there regularly, it's just really great because the food is amazing and everything else is great too.

We received a friendly welcome and the service was generally very good. We were immediately informed about special offers (it was pizza day that day) and, based on our preferences, they put together the most affordable option for us. The waiters were attentive. The only drawback was the noise level due to the large number of customers. Therefore, only 4 out of 5 stars for ambiance. Everything else was great (furnishings, cleanliness, and the look of the restrooms, open kitchen). I'd gladly come again.

I went to dinner with my wife and to the breakfast buffet with my friends. Both times were very good, very tasty, and highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is also totally reasonable. If you've booked in advance, there's no waiting time; the service is really fast.

We had a delicious meal. Large pizzas on small tables. It's nice that you can have different toppings on each half of the pizza. Skip the pizzerias in the Netherlands, drive through Kleve (or another Osteria) and enjoy a super-delicious pizza, pasta, or main course salad. And they also offer excellent value for money, especially compared to the Netherlands. The only downside, in my opinion, is the small round tables you're sometimes seated at. The pizzas barely fit on them.

Disappointing and unprofessional. We had reserved a table upstairs in the restaurant for my partner's birthday, which was supposed to be festively set and prepared with sparkling wine and water – none of which was the case. Despite asking, we weren't given a table upstairs but had to sit at a table downstairs. The way the situation was handled was rude and unprofessional – even by the manager. Our complaint was rudely dismissed. A disappointing evening that we hadn't expected. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

I can understand that it's very busy on a Sunday evening and it takes longer for the pizza to arrive. But over an hour?! The table next to us had already received their food before us. When we asked, we were simply told, "Yes, we still have the upstairs area open, the pizzas should be here soon." After that, we still had to wait another 30 minutes. It's absolutely outrageous. I'm very disappointed, and this was my last visit for a while. I'm usually a big fan of the food.

We come here often after a recommendation from a friend. The pizzas are truly exceptional. You can order half a pizza and a salad together. They also have great deals, like the second one free every Wednesday, and I also come here for lunch. Theodora made us fall in love with this restaurant even more. She prepared a whole festive meal for my grandson for his birthday. Simply fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal with friends on October 22, 2025. The pizzas were delicious, and the service was friendly and good. A tip for Wednesday evenings would be to perhaps hire an extra staff member. Those who were there were working their tails off but couldn't quite cope. We will definitely be back.

I've eaten at l'Osteria before in the Netherlands, and now in Kleve. The food was delicious here too! The pizza was great, as was the pasta. No starters or desserts were necessary. Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, and friendly staff. Definitely worth coming back!

There was a small issue with a small foreign object in the food! It can happen... I raised it, and they acted immediately. The manager came and apologized immediately, and the food was removed from the bill! Great troubleshooting! That's how complaints are handled! I'd be happy to come back!

Beautifully designed rooms (albeit very noisy), parking and outdoor areas, everything well-maintained and clean, and above all... top-notch (!) staff: I've rarely experienced such friendly, fast, and attentive staff as here... BUT... The food is the cheapest, industrial system food, sold at high prices and prepared without love. Pasta with ready-made sauces... 0/8/15 pizzas... The dessert was a CATASTROPHE: the cheapest frozen "spaghetti ice cream," essentially just a frozen cream with artificial flavoring... Food culture can be different...

I've been to Kleve and other cities several times. It's often loud and crowded, but the food is delicious and the service is always good. Today we were ignored so many times and had to wait almost an hour for our food. It took half an hour to order drinks, and after our meal, almost another hour to order dessert. No one asked if we were missing anything, if everything was OK, or if we wanted a second drink. I'm considering going back.

I decided to try this pizza place after hearing from friends, but honestly, I regret ever walking in. First off, the pizza arrived cold. Not lukewarm – cold. Like it had been sitting out for hours. The crust was rock hard, the cheese had congealed. I’ve had better frozen pizza from a gas station rather than in a restaurant.

We come here every now and then. It's nice and cozy, but when it's full, it can get quite loud – despite the ceiling height. The food and service were excellent, as always. While the brunch buffet has been scaled down a bit, it's €3 cheaper than before. The value for money is perfectly fine. Free juice would be nice, though, as is the case with almost all other breakfast buffets.

We've been collecting Amore Hearts since the beginning. Today we had lunch and received a drink from Dolce Vita. When we wanted to order a specialty coffee with Amore Hearts to finish our meal, the waiter told us that this wasn't possible in this combination. We then ordered and paid for the specialty coffee with Amore Hearts. Unfortunately, we had no idea that we would have had to have our loyalty card scanned before paying. It's a shame, because we lost hearts that way. After asking the waiter, he replied that it wasn't his job to remind us. The restaurant had less than a handful of customers, so overwork couldn't have been the reason, but rather indifference. It's not enough to equip yourself with customer loyalty tools when the waiter just shrugs his shoulders.

It's sad that you have to wait over an hour for two pizzas on a Monday evening. Mind you, the appetizer also took a good 40 minutes to arrive. When we wanted to pay because the pizza hadn't arrived, we received a silly comment: "Haven't you eaten yet?" After consulting the "manager," at least the appetizer was on the house...a small consolation...it was our last visit there for a while.

We ate there for the first time today. The pizzas are really big, but unfortunately, they're also incredibly thin. They didn't impress us in terms of flavor either. They tasted very bland. Even the pepperoni couldn't bring anything out of them, and the tomato sauce simply tasted of nothing. It was definitely our first and last time. The food simply wasn't worth the money. Our conclusion: an overpriced evening that didn't even impress in terms of flavor. A total disappointment.
