L´Osteria Kleve in Kleve

The food is great. On a Saturday, there are simply not enough waitstaff for so many guests. We had to wait a very long time before we could order dessert. The staff were completely stressed, but still competent and very friendly.

The waiter asked for a tip. If I want to give it, I'll give it. But he said it was a tip. The waiter with the long hair was obnoxious and said no Tabasco.

Nice restaurant pizza is nice and really thin. Overflow the plate.

I can't give it 5 stars. The reservation worked well, and we even got to choose. We waited 50 minutes for a pizza and a pasta dish. The pizza was rather sparsely topped. Still delicious. The pasta dish, the daily special, was very tasty and the portions were plentiful. 2. Drinks also took longer than usual. The acoustics are rather loud, due to the building's location.

Sunday Brunch: The food was delicious. The selection of cold cuts could be improved. Various cheeses and ham were missing. That could be better. Lunch: You've completely ruined my good impression of brunch. A real disappointment. The table wasn't clean. Drinks had to be ordered multiple times. Pizza had no seasoning. No garlic, 2 small basil leaves. A 10cm crust with no toppings spread over the plate. Pizza, gnocchi gambaretti, and lasagna had hardly any flavor. Simply prepared and served without love or heart. This was my last visit.

The pizza towers over the edge of the plate, super delicious. Unfortunately, the waiters weren't attentive, so they didn't sell a second drink. We also had to chase the waiter to pay. Only then were our plates cleared away.

After making a reservation, we were taken directly to a table of our choice (inside or outside), and our arrival was well-organized. After 5-10 minutes, our drink order was taken. However, another waiter came after another 10 minutes and took another drink order: The first order must have somehow not arrived. After that, the drinks arrived quite quickly, and we continued with the food order. We ordered one Hawaiian pizza, one Gamberetti pizza, and one Spaghetti Pomodoro. As is typical for this restaurant, you can't choose between sizes, such as small or large. The pizzas only come in a standard diameter of 45 cm. Due to the enormous size, the pizza extends beyond the edge of the plate and is generally very thin—but this doesn't affect the flavor. It's good and really decent for a pizza. The spaghetti was also delicious. In summary, the food was good, and the ambiance, especially inside, is very aesthetically pleasing, fitting the "Italian style and look." Furthermore, the price is relatively reasonable, and depending on the dish, you can easily get by with around €15-30 per person. The service, including organizational aspects of ordering and other internal processes, should be re-examined to provide an even better customer experience.

We were at Losteria on a Thursday evening. The place was relatively empty, but we still waited 40 minutes for our drinks. When we asked if they had been forgotten, we were told, "The bar manager is busy with other tasks." We then watched him tidy up the bar for another 20 minutes until we got our drinks. The food was excellent as always, but the service was unfortunately a flop.

We got a table without a reservation, but it was quite full. We received our drinks in less than five minutes, and had to wait almost 20 minutes for the food. The food was very tasty, and the leftovers were packed up. I had to deduct some points for the cleanliness; the floor and chairs were already dirty.

Large pizzas. Tastes good. Not a huge variety, but what's on the menu is good. The staff was busy, but the restaurant was almost full. Despite the crowd, the waitress still had time for a quick chat. This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last.

August 2, 2025 We were a group of 22 people. There was something for everyone. We had a delicious meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Despite the size of the group and the diverse requests, they remained friendly and welcoming. It was great that you can actually see into the kitchen.

I decided to try this pizza place after hearing from friends, but honestly, I regret ever walking in. First off, the pizza arrived cold. Not lukewarm – cold. Like it had been sitting out for hours. The crust was rock hard, the cheese had congealed. I’ve had better frozen pizza from a gas station rather than in a restaurant.

We went to L'Osteria Kleve today and unfortunately had to wait over an hour for our food. The staff was friendly, but overwhelmed and didn't inform us of the wait time. The food may be good, but the service desperately needs improvement. It's a shame, as we were looking forward to the visit.

The worst service I've seen we've never ordered a pizza and a carbonara at home, it arrived all cold the half burnt pizza and the carbonara without sauce and anyway you try to call to complain and they don't pick up your phone

Went to Bransch.da today. Super, super good food. The staff was friendly and quick to help. We always come back. Went to Bruchen again today with six people, and I hope everything is as good as last time.

The food was okay, but unfortunately the service tonight was completely disastrous. One of the dishes was delivered incorrectly, and I reported it immediately. The waiter went to the kitchen without saying anything and never came back. Half an hour later, another employee came and asked if everything was okay. I calmly explained the situation to him, and all he said was, "I kept asking if everything was okay, why didn't you say anything?" It was the first time he had ever asked a question at that moment. It's not a big deal if something is delivered incorrectly, but to then be accused of it is unacceptable. The end result: the dish was removed from the bill, and my stomach was left empty. In the end, I didn't even get a goodbye.

The service was very bad. We ordered a dish that was not spicy, but it arrived quite spicy. Not a problem in itself, it can happen. We immediately informed a member of staff, but he left without saying much, and half an hour later we still had the wrong dish on the table and hadn't heard anything else. When another member of staff came over for the first time and asked if everything was okay, we told him again that we had received a dish that was too spicy, but that a new one hadn't arrived. He then asked why we hadn't said anything after he asked several times if everything was okay. He never asked, but if it was, we would of course have let you know. Overall, a very poor service. After paying, we didn't get a goodbye or anything like that. We won't be coming back.

The service was absolutely terrible. The food arrived incorrectly, even though we had specifically stated beforehand that we didn't want the dish spicy. Mistakes like that can happen. When we directly mentioned it, the waiter left without comment and without asking. When we asked only once (!) if everything was okay, we explained the situation again. We were then yelled at for not saying something beforehand, saying that they had already asked us several times. But they didn't. We didn't even get an apology or even a hint of an admission of error. We didn't even get a goodbye after paying. We won't set foot here again.

Absolutely love this place! L’Osteria Kleve never disappoints. The pizza is massive, perfectly crispy on the edges, and loaded with fresh, flavorful toppings — truly one of the best in town. I also have to mention their coffee — rich, smooth, and expertly brewed, it’s the perfect pick-me-up any time of day. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy yet lively. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a good time in Kleve!

Lovely pizzas for an incredible price/quality comparison. I've been here a few times while doing grocery shopping, and I always make sure to stop by while I can. A quick cup of coffee or a whole meal. Anything is possible, and the atmosphere is definitely worth it.

Service was attentive but not sufficiently informed about the offerings. Items/products were constantly unavailable, resulting adjustments were not made as requested, plates were still dirty from previous use, the table was not cleared completely, and coffee could not be ordered for 20 minutes because no server came to the table... How can mineral water, pesto, bread, and spaghetti be out of stock in an "Italian" restaurant?!?! Excellent: the criticism was received very professionally and passed on, and discussed again in person during a subsequent visit, and mutual perceptions were exchanged.

Five of us dined there yesterday. After repeatedly asking, our food finally arrived 1.5 hours after we ordered! My spaghetti Bolognese (ragu) was only similar to spaghetti in that it was pasta. However, it was small, square pasta at an exceptionally high price. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
