The food was fabulous. The seating was lovely. Only the server was annoyed and extremely inattentive.

First visit with 5 people for brunch. Friendly welcome 👌 We tried all the dishes on offer and agree: everything was excellent 👌 The service was friendly and attentive 👌 The buffet was constantly replenished 👌 Overall, our impression was positive. So, if you want to try a brunch that's a little different from the usual fare, this is the place to go. Value for money: €14.50 is too low considering what was offered. They could easily charge €17.50 🫠 Thank you for the lovely morning 👌

I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the pizza. I remembered it being much, much better. It was far too dry and had very few toppings. It could be so much better :) However, the service was very quick and we had a very friendly and attentive server. :)

Disappointing and unprofessional. We had reserved a table upstairs in the restaurant for my partner's birthday, which was supposed to be festively set and prepared with sparkling wine and water – none of which was the case. Despite asking, we weren't given a table upstairs but had to sit at a table downstairs. The way the situation was handled was rude and unprofessional – even by the manager. Our complaint was rudely dismissed. A disappointing evening that we hadn't expected. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We come here often after a recommendation from a friend. The pizzas are truly exceptional. You can order half a pizza and a salad together. They also have great deals, like the second one free every Wednesday, and I also come here for lunch. Theodora made us fall in love with this restaurant even more. She prepared a whole festive meal for my grandson for his birthday. Simply fantastic. Highly recommended.

I can understand that it's very busy on a Sunday evening and it takes longer for the pizza to arrive. But over an hour?! The table next to us had already received their food before us. When we asked, we were simply told, "Yes, we still have the upstairs area open, the pizzas should be here soon." After that, we still had to wait another 30 minutes. It's absolutely outrageous. I'm very disappointed, and this was my last visit for a while. I'm usually a big fan of the food.

A fun, modern atmosphere at L’Osteria in Kleve. The pizzas are large, delicious, and definitely worth the price. It's great that you can take the leftovers home. Highly recommended; I'll be back again in the future!

We had a wonderful meal with friends on October 22, 2025. The pizzas were delicious, and the service was friendly and good. A tip for Wednesday evenings would be to perhaps hire an extra staff member. Those who were there were working their tails off but couldn't quite cope. We will definitely be back.

The place is very nice, the food is good, but the service is terrible. We were waiting for a waiter, and he saw me and kept scolding me. I tried to pay, but I waited half an hour. The wait for food is usually 50 minutes.

I've eaten at l'Osteria before in the Netherlands, and now in Kleve. The food was delicious here too! The pizza was great, as was the pasta. No starters or desserts were necessary. Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, and friendly staff. Definitely worth coming back!

There was a small issue with a small foreign object in the food! It can happen... I raised it, and they acted immediately. The manager came and apologized immediately, and the food was removed from the bill! Great troubleshooting! That's how complaints are handled! I'd be happy to come back!

Beautifully designed rooms (albeit very noisy), parking and outdoor areas, everything well-maintained and clean, and above all... top-notch (!) staff: I've rarely experienced such friendly, fast, and attentive staff as here... BUT... The food is the cheapest, industrial system food, sold at high prices and prepared without love. Pasta with ready-made sauces... 0/8/15 pizzas... The dessert was a CATASTROPHE: the cheapest frozen "spaghetti ice cream," essentially just a frozen cream with artificial flavoring... Food culture can be different...

I've been to Kleve and other cities several times. It's often loud and crowded, but the food is delicious and the service is always good. Today we were ignored so many times and had to wait almost an hour for our food. It took half an hour to order drinks, and after our meal, almost another hour to order dessert. No one asked if we were missing anything, if everything was OK, or if we wanted a second drink. I'm considering going back.

I decided to try this pizza place after hearing from friends, but honestly, I regret ever walking in. First off, the pizza arrived cold. Not lukewarm – cold. Like it had been sitting out for hours. The crust was rock hard, the cheese had congealed. I’ve had better frozen pizza from a gas station rather than in a restaurant.

We come here every now and then. It's nice and cozy, but when it's full, it can get quite loud – despite the ceiling height. The food and service were excellent, as always. While the brunch buffet has been scaled down a bit, it's €3 cheaper than before. The value for money is perfectly fine. Free juice would be nice, though, as is the case with almost all other breakfast buffets.

Had dinner with friends – everything was simply perfect! The service, food, and dessert were top-notch. Special thanks to our waiter, Canno, who was super friendly and attentive.

We've been collecting Amore Hearts since the beginning. Today we had lunch and received a drink from Dolce Vita. When we wanted to order a specialty coffee with Amore Hearts to finish our meal, the waiter told us that this wasn't possible in this combination. We then ordered and paid for the specialty coffee with Amore Hearts. Unfortunately, we had no idea that we would have had to have our loyalty card scanned before paying. It's a shame, because we lost hearts that way. After asking the waiter, he replied that it wasn't his job to remind us. The restaurant had less than a handful of customers, so overwork couldn't have been the reason, but rather indifference. It's not enough to equip yourself with customer loyalty tools when the waiter just shrugs his shoulders.

September 25, 2025 We were there again yesterday and had a super nice student serve us. Of course, everything was top-notch again. The service was so great, too, that we forgot our points because we forgot to present the app.

It's sad that you have to wait over an hour for two pizzas on a Monday evening. Mind you, the appetizer also took a good 40 minutes to arrive. When we wanted to pay because the pizza hadn't arrived, we received a silly comment: "Haven't you eaten yet?" After consulting the "manager," at least the appetizer was on the house...a small consolation...it was our last visit there for a while.

We ate there for the first time today. The pizzas are really big, but unfortunately, they're also incredibly thin. They didn't impress us in terms of flavor either. They tasted very bland. Even the pepperoni couldn't bring anything out of them, and the tomato sauce simply tasted of nothing. It was definitely our first and last time. The food simply wasn't worth the money. Our conclusion: an overpriced evening that didn't even impress in terms of flavor. A total disappointment.

I ordered food and didn't receive it in its entirety. The answer I got on the phone was a joke. What am I supposed to do with a free dessert? They should have offered another one for the incomplete portion. Edit: Your response could have been spared. I should have contacted Liferando, and they'll blame it on you. Who's left with the cost? Exactly...

Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended.

We had a fantastic meal tonight! The pizzas and pasta were delicious. The orecchiette con manzo e limone 🙌🏻👌🏻 were sooo good!! The only downside, unfortunately, was the service. It was quite busy inside, but a 20-minute wait for drinks seems quite long to me. The food also took a while to arrive. It was nice that it was all served at the same time! We will definitely be back!

The waiter asked for a tip. If I want to give it, I'll give it. But he said it was a tip. The waiter with the long hair was obnoxious and said no Tabasco.

The food is great. On a Saturday, there are simply not enough waitstaff for so many guests. We had to wait a very long time before we could order dessert. The staff were completely stressed, but still competent and very friendly.

I can't give it 5 stars. The reservation worked well, and we even got to choose. We waited 50 minutes for a pizza and a pasta dish. The pizza was rather sparsely topped. Still delicious. The pasta dish, the daily special, was very tasty and the portions were plentiful. 2. Drinks also took longer than usual. The acoustics are rather loud, due to the building's location.

Sunday Brunch: The food was delicious. The selection of cold cuts could be improved. Various cheeses and ham were missing. That could be better. Lunch: You've completely ruined my good impression of brunch. A real disappointment. The table wasn't clean. Drinks had to be ordered multiple times. Pizza had no seasoning. No garlic, 2 small basil leaves. A 10cm crust with no toppings spread over the plate. Pizza, gnocchi gambaretti, and lasagna had hardly any flavor. Simply prepared and served without love or heart. This was my last visit.

After making a reservation, we were taken directly to a table of our choice (inside or outside), and our arrival was well-organized. After 5-10 minutes, our drink order was taken. However, another waiter came after another 10 minutes and took another drink order: The first order must have somehow not arrived. After that, the drinks arrived quite quickly, and we continued with the food order. We ordered one Hawaiian pizza, one Gamberetti pizza, and one Spaghetti Pomodoro. As is typical for this restaurant, you can't choose between sizes, such as small or large. The pizzas only come in a standard diameter of 45 cm. Due to the enormous size, the pizza extends beyond the edge of the plate and is generally very thin—but this doesn't affect the flavor. It's good and really decent for a pizza. The spaghetti was also delicious. In summary, the food was good, and the ambiance, especially inside, is very aesthetically pleasing, fitting the "Italian style and look." Furthermore, the price is relatively reasonable, and depending on the dish, you can easily get by with around €15-30 per person. The service, including organizational aspects of ordering and other internal processes, should be re-examined to provide an even better customer experience.

The food was very tasty, and the leftovers were packed up. I had to deduct some points for the cleanliness; the floor and chairs were already dirty.

We were at Losteria on a Thursday evening. The place was relatively empty, but we still waited 40 minutes for our drinks. When we asked if they had been forgotten, we were told, "The bar manager is busy with other tasks." We then watched him tidy up the bar for another 20 minutes until we got our drinks. The food was excellent as always, but the service was unfortunately a flop.
