Since you have to give a star to rate... We were there again for brunch. Since it was busy and the dessert area was empty, we asked the staff if it would be refilled; Fruit salad, waffles, tiramisu, panna cotta...was empty. It said “yes, it will be filled up”… That didn't happen!!!! Otherwise we would have left. I'll keep it short; That was the worst brunch! The house was cleaned up shortly after 1 p.m., although according to the internet it should last until 2 p.m. On the map on site it says until 1 p.m.?!?! 2 hours would be the time factor in which you can have brunch... but this is not controlled... You can't blame the staff... There was also a lack of clean cutlery, such as spoons etc. Plates were also in short supply. That the desserts were “stashed” on the tables and then thrown away because they were not eaten. Maybe you should counteract this a little... So you can't make a recommendation...

This is the best pizzeria. Great service, super delicious food, etc. I can only recommend it.

Service friendly, just have to check every now and then to see if you need anything else. Spaghetti dish was okay, but I don't have to go there again. The dish could use more seasoning. Been there second time. Pizza average in taste. If the pizza has to be that big, get sensible plates. Cutting half on the table doesn't have to be the case. A handful of toppings for a pizza for 15 euros is a rip-off. Staff friendly and attentive.

I've been there for the second time now. Both times there was a very long wait, 20 minutes to order the drinks/waited about an hour for the food. The pizzas are huge in diameter but very average in taste and the salami slices on the salami pizza could be counted on one hand / the salad and my pasta dish were good / the plus point was the friendliness of the staff.

It was our first time in an Osteria... Friendly greeting, a request for a place was expressed and it was granted. The pizzas were prepared quickly. I found the open kitchen, where you could look inside, very positive. The pizza was perfect, super delicious and huge😳🥰 The employees were all busy, but there was no stress at all. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, every now and then people asked if everything was OK or if there was something else to drink... The pizzas here don't seem cheap by German standards at first, but they are really huge. In the end we lost about 20 euros per person. It's also nice that you can order the pizzas here half-and-half. This way you can share for the little eaters or of course just taste 2 flavors.

Food, service and ambience: everything is consistent

The three of us had lunch here. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress. We were able to choose a place ourselves, and she came to ask what we wanted to drink. Soon the drinks were served and we could order the food. After fifteen minutes the pizzas, salad and lasagna arrived. Some ingredients were out of stock, this was neatly reported by the waitress and an alternative was also offered. The food was delicious! The pizzas are, as always, huge and extremely tasty! The lasagna was also delicious, with lots of cheese and minced meat. The salad was nice and fresh with nicely fried shrimps. In the end this was a bit too much, but it could easily be taken home in a box. The waiter took a nice photo of the three of us, which was also very thoughtful. In any case, this waitress (a blonde young lady, unfortunately I don't know the name) was very friendly and fast. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back soon!

The site is ok, you can easily pay with PayPal. I think that's great. First of all we ordered the PIZZA VARIAZIONE, just to get to know your food. Not all pizza is the same. The delivery took about 60 minutes. But it was ok. It was Saturday evening. You had just opened and things weren't going quite smoothly yet. The first impression was: WOW, the pizzas are huge! And so much toppings! The pizzas were all great in terms of taste. There wasn't one that we didn't like. The floor is ultra thin. The edges were narrow and everything was well documented. BUT the pizzas were all only lukewarm, some even cold. But ok, it can happen, as written above, you only opened your restaurant the day before. Order number two was a week later, also on a Saturday evening. Delivery time also 60 minutes, fits. This time there was Pizza Degli Artisti and Spaghetti Rucola Pomodorini. About the pizza: Unfortunately the pizza was again only lukewarm to cold. Covering disappointing, the base wobbly, thick, soft and pale edge. Plus the pepperoni, which simply tasted bitter/sour. My special request wasn't fulfilled and the pizza wasn't cut either. This pizza has absolutely nothing to do with the first order. Regarding the pasta: This also comes in a large box, but size isn't everything. So if I now claim that the box was 1/3 full, that has already been described generously here. The noodles themselves were ok, had a bite. The sauce was very, very thin. We also found a cherry tomato, which unfortunately we couldn't say about the rocket. For a price of €11.20 I just expected more, that was really a cheek, the taste was simply dead! The whole order had absolutely nothing to do with “Grande Amore”! But all good things come in threes! Everyone can have a bad day. So today we had food come from you again: There was Pizza BBQ Chicken, Insalata Mista with: fried chicken and Insalata Caesare with chicken breast strips. To the pizza... Visual impression was really good. This time the pizza was no longer lukewarm, it was COLD! We only live 3-4 minutes away by car. How on earth do you manage to not deliver a pizza hot for the third time in a row? Even when I order food from Emmerich or take a kebab home in a plastic bag, the food is still warm to hot. Here things have gotten worse with every order. The pizza tasted okay. BBQ sauce is delicious and went well with the chicken and peppers. But the pizza was just cold and that still bothers me... Insalata Mista with: Chicken. First of all, you have to note that the salad is smaller than the other one we ordered. In addition, if I pay €4 extra for chicken, I would also like to have chicken in the salad for €4 and not just 3 pieces that were also COLD... We found exactly 1 piece of cucumber in the salad. Hunger wasn't satisfied, something was cooked in the kitchen again... Insalata Caesare with chicken breast strips: very tasty. Can't complain. Here the chicken was, you wouldn't believe it, even warm!! Garlic croutons were well seasoned. There is nothing wrong here. Conclusion: Get it under control to deliver your food hot, so that the quality always remains the same and, above all, appropriate for the price. We were really happy when we heard that you were coming to Kleve, but the joy has finally disappeared today. We will no longer be ordering from you for the time being. A pity!

Had dinner here tonight with two friends! Wow Extremely nice waitress. Friendly and correct! The food was really delicious. I once gave up pizza and took to pasta. Really too tasty! When I saw the pizzas later I was happy... My gosh, they are big. Immediately messaged my boyfriend that I found his place... Since he is always hungry. So I will definitely come back here 😍 Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere. We had a nice spot. I definitely recommend this restaurant. And the price... You don't have to leave it alone for that. A modern, rustic restaurant. Actually delicious food. The pizzas were large and tasty. wafer-thin dough with a crispy edge. The Caesar salad was also delicious. Unfortunately, an additional order of meat with the salad didn't work out. The meat came after the salad had already been eaten and unfortunately it was too salty. Of course, this isn't always the case, but it didn't leave such a good impression. Nevertheless, I will visit this restaurant again because it was always good there. The very young waitress seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, even though there wasn't much activity. I hope things go better on the next visit.

Very good varied food and friendly staff

After a successful hunt for diving equipment in Kleve and the almost decided decision to go straight home, fate led us less than 100 meters from the parking lot directly to the doors of L'Osteria. We knew the name, but our expectations were limited - our motto: 'It doesn't get any worse than Vapiano'. And how right we were – it was so much better! We received a friendly welcome and were quickly shown to our table. We experienced prompt and professional service. The menu offered just the right amount of choice without being overwhelming. Charmingly, but not intrusively, we were suggested a starter or dessert - in true franchise style. A particular highlight was the grated Parmesan, which was brought to our table without being asked, a nice service to complement the pasta! The pasta itself was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. To round things off, we enjoyed two espresso corretto before heading home. Our visit was almost perfect - if it hadn't been for the Spanish music in the background, which somehow didn't really fit in with the Italian flair. And yes, my piercings became an issue with the staff at some point - but I'm used to that and maybe it's a little bit what I expect. Conclusion: We felt completely comfortable and welcome and will definitely come back next time we are in the area. L'Osteria Kleve, you have gained two new fans!

We ordered and the email came straight away with confirmation and a time of 45 minutes. After more than 1 1/2 hours I asked by phone what was going on and was told that the driver was still on the way and our food hadn't been prepared yet. The driver will be back in about ten minutes and then our order will come. Since it was after 8:30 p.m. and our children had to go to bed, I wanted to cancel, but I was quickly brushed off and was supposed to get a call back. When I called back, it was no longer possible to cancel because the driver was now on the way with the food. When the driver came the food was completely cold. We came in and had to choose a table ourselves. We had to get menus from the bar ourselves. Closing time is 11:00 PM, staff indicated that they only prepare pizzas at 9:15 PM, so no salads, pasta, dessert. We are being seriously fooled here. We will never come here again

I can only praise Losteria. The staff are very friendly. The pizza is not only huge but also absolutely delicious. I can also only recommend the Mista salad. We'll definitely be back.

Nice location. The pizzas are bigger than the plates, which is fine, but it doesn't have to be. This makes cutting a challenge when you have a full table. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was a disappointment for me. The service was friendly and there when you needed them. The price-performance ratio was quite good.

I can understand that prices have to be increased these days, but on a pizza day (Wednesday) the pizza goes from €7.50 to €9.95. I think it's a bit much per pizza.

L'Osteria Kleve is an integral part of our restaurant routes. I don't think you have to write much either. We always feel comfortable here. The young staff is always friendly and motivated, the food is rich and very varied. The starters and desserts are also beyond reproach.

We were there often. You can watch it deteriorate. The last few times we had to wait forever for our food. The second to last time we were seated upstairs and simply not served for 1 1/2 hours. Then we left. Before that my egg on the pizza was raw. They still had to pay! Today my little daughter got a pizza with raw egg. When I explain to the waitress that this happened to me months ago (I still have a video of it, by the way), she says no, it can't because the dough would be different :D I had the egg removed... She gives the pizza back. ...Later (I'm an idiot) I saw that there were still sticky egg residues on it...She's been feeling sick for an hour. Me too, strangely enough, and she and I had also eaten my tuna pizza together. When I wanted to have them packed up (she instinctively couldn't continue eating), the waitress came and said she had accidentally dropped them in the kitchen. Would you give me a !!!half!!!! Should make new pizza...Where we always wait a long time for anything to happen anyway. With three children! But deducting half the pizza from the price is out of the question? You're crazy! It used to be pretty good years ago...Then something happened...I don't know...We really tried...But today is enough! If my child has food poisoning, I will tackle it to the last degree! Rely on it! Average Italian-flavored food. Unfortunately, the taste is not a highlight. The ambience was nice but it was more of an illusion than reality. It would be better to invest the money for the furnishings in good chefs. The price for the dessert that came out of the packaging was a disgrace and shouldn't have cost more than 5 euros. The service is unknown Decent welcome. In general it seemed that the service staff were not trained... but in retrospect they were friendly and quick. Unfortunately there was no thank you when a 7 euro tip was paid. Conclusion: If you want real Italian cuisine, you should look elsewhere.

Very tasty pizza. Fast and super friendly and neat service despite the crowds. Upstairs you are just a bit quieter than downstairs. We will definitely come back. Please note that the pizzas are quite large, we took a few pieces home with us. Even the next day they were much tastier than a "fresh" frozen pizza.

We ate there with six people. Three dishes were overly spicy. We waited over 1 hour for the food. The staff brings drinks to the table and does not take used glasses back with them. The music suddenly became so loud that it was no longer possible to carry on a conversation. A pizza with two drinks costs around €30. The pizzas are huge, but extremely poorly topped. This was the second time I was disappointed there, but definitely the last time.

Good afternoon, what happened today was a real disgrace. We planned to order our food by phone and then pick it up. So far so good. We were told by phone that you can only order online. The question whether I could briefly announce these two pizzas was strictly refused. The whole process of ordering online took about 10 minutes. The page kept stopping, there were problems with the request that I didn't want garlic on the pizza and the payment took another time. If that doesn't change, it will really be the last time I order there. The prices themselves are already unreasonable, but what about that? Unheard of. I wonder how older people manage to order online. 1 star.

I was there for the first time today with my girls. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our starter and were then told that there was no longer any starter (tomato soup). Well, it can happen. We then received bruschetta as compensation, which was added to our bill at the end. We then waited another 45 minutes for our main course. The pizza tasted great. I really can't complain about it. We then ordered dessert and another 30 minutes later we were informed that there was no more dessert. It was a disappointment today. You could tell that the staff were very uncomfortable. The boss didn't even come and apologize in person, which is what I would have liked. Instead, his employees had to take the bad criticism for poor communication. I would like myself and especially the employees to communicate more there, both with each other and, above all, with the customers. Mistakes happen, we are all human. But by the time dessert was over it was over for me. Last but not least, when we wanted to pay and politely asked for the bill, a waitress told us “That’s not my table, the table is Hanna’s.” Okay, what should I do with it as a customer now? I just want to pay for the food I have eaten.

After a long day of shopping we looked for a nice place to eat, and the pictures looked great so we thought why not give it a try. and that may have been de best decision we made. The pizza was great and it was huge. Drinks are a little overpriced since i went for a 500 ml cola. The staff was very fast and friendly. the second we entered someone came to help us and offer us a seat. And the waitress who helped us spoke good english and was very friendly. Definetly would visit again when in Kleve!

I've eaten there several times with my family. Every time it was excellent. The atmosphere is great and the service is very nice! If you plan to eat there, I recommend making a reservation in advance. Since I always make a reservation and the place is so full in the evening, I've had to wait at least 60 minutes for my food. That should be clear to you when you go there.

The salad was fresh and crunchy, the ingredients were well prepared. The dressing was perfectly balanced and further enhanced the taste of the salad. The portion size was also reasonable. The salad wasn't too small, but not too big either, so I was able to eat it all without any problems. The only negative thing was that there was only white bread with the salad, I would have preferred whole grain bread. The service in the restaurant was also very friendly and attentive. My order was taken quickly. All in all, I can only recommend the salad at this restaurant. The quality, taste and presentation really impressed me. We were at the Osteria Kleve with the family on Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at around 5:15 p.m. There were few guests in the restaurant. We visited the restaurant with 8 people including 2 small children. As a starter we ordered 10 bruschettas for the children, 2 pasta with pesto and 6 different dishes including a pizza. After waiting an hour, we asked the kitchen to deliver the children's meals in advance. After another 15 minutes we got the bruschettas with paste with tomato sauce for the children. One of the children was whiny until then and then fell asleep without eating. After another 35 minutes we got our food. In total we had to wait about 1 3/4 for our food. The waitress kept apologizing, but overall the whole thing was very unsatisfactory. Of course, it could be that the long waiting time was deliberately caused to increase the drink service, but that also took far too long. In total I paid around €200. We will no longer visit L'Osteria Kleve. 😆😪😠

The pizza is really very tasty. We've been there twice in the last two weeks and on both visits we got a cola that was barely carbonated. The second time we tried to complain about it. The service was very nice and tried hard. Despite their efforts, we had to drink our Coke without carbonation. We were told that the "machine" was broken. I think with the price of €4.75 for half a liter of cola they should have accommodated us in terms of price, as the cola was hardly palatable to my taste. I hope the issue will be resolved.
