Ich finde das Essen klasse, Preis Leistung ist gut und das Essen kommt sehr schnell. Einziges Manko: wenn man innen isst, stillt man etwas nach Essen, da die Küche und die Tische in einem Raum sind. Trotzdem volle Empfehlung

Ich bin hier immer gerne hin gegangen, auch als noch der alte Besitzer da war. Es schmeckt nachwievor sehr gut, aber leider wurden die Zutaten der Gerichte schon einwenig verändert, was es etwas anders schmecken lässt. Das finde ich etwas schade. Gerade die 42, die gerne gegessen habe. Irgendwas ist da anders als beim Vorbesitzer und auch etwas zu viel Öl. Es schmeckt aber dennoch sehr gut.

Wir hatten gebratene Nudeln mit gebackenen Hühnerfleisch und Gemüse zum Mitnehmen bestellt, sind sehr positiv überrascht und können nur eine Empfehlung aussprechen. Die Gerichte waren alle frisch und trotzdem schnell zubereitet.

Habe heute zum ersten Mal dort etwas gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Service auch top. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Bei Sonnenschein kann man gut draußen sitzen.

Die Portionen sind für den Preis unschlagbar und uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt!

ich musste meine ursprünglich positive Rezension leider überdenken, da die Qualität des Essens in letzter Zeit echt stark abgenommen hat (bei steigenden Preisen wohlbemerkt). Wenn man sich die Karte anschaut, muss man feststellen, dass das einzige Gericht ohne Geschmacksverstärker der Salat ist. Die gebratenen Nudeln sind zwar immernoch gut, der Rest aber wirklich zum Teil ungenießbar. Schade

I retract my 5-star review! 15 years ago, a portion of item #84 weighed 1400g – 5 years ago it was 1100g, and the prices increased. Now the same dish weighs 900g and is even more expensive and of lower quality. If you eat at this fast-food place, be aware that your clothes will smell strongly of frying oil afterward. Quite simply – I can no longer recommend it since the new owner took over!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly gentleman. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable these days. What surprised me was how quickly the food was prepared and the size of the portions. I'll definitely be back!

Update 11-25: Great news! After another visit, I can say the quality is very good again. Crispy meat and delicious sauces. Quickly and freshly prepared. So, thankfully, a reliable, good snack bar again. 09-25: We frequented the place under the previous owner and were always very satisfied. The current menu is almost identical. So we assumed the quality would remain the same. The carrots and broccoli were raw. Both sauces on our dishes were bad (e.g., the coconut sauce had no coconut flavor, just spicy...). We were disappointed.

Unfortunately, there were only unfamiliar faces, and the "waiting staff" rudely slapped the menu down on our table with the comment: "Place your order at the counter!" The menu looked different than usual, with many items removed. A glance at the plate at the neighboring table prompted us to get up and leave. We've been very satisfied in recent years and have often eaten at Kyoto or picked up food. We were always greeted warmly (including by the kitchen staff). The best Asian cuisine at a reasonable price. We place a quick order over the phone, and about 7-10 minutes later, everything is ready for pickup. You can also eat in. We prefer outside when the weather is nice. The portions are very generous (enough for two people to enjoy).

I used to always have the house soup No. 2, Clov. It was sooo delicious!! I had it again today under the new owner. Conclusion: never again. It was pure watery soup with a little chicken and vegetables. I felt like Steve McQueen in the movie "Papillon" when he was getting his meal in solitary confinement. What a shame!

Since the change of ownership, it's not the same anymore. The portions are smaller, and there have been changes to the menu that just don't fit. Where they used to add sauce to the dish to keep the meat crispy, everything is now packed together in one package. The lady at the cash register was also rather unfriendly. It's a real shame about the small shop, but it was the last time I went there.

We ate there today. It was our first day with the new owner. Very disappointed. That was our last visit. We've been here before, but they seem to have hired a new owner, chefs, etc. They've added new ingredients to the food, and unfortunately, it doesn't quite fit... I am a regular customer here. In my opinion the best Asian snack that Kassel and probably the region has to offer. The food is always freshly prepared, tastes delicious and the portions are definitely filling. A really nice group too. Always happy to come back.

It's been 3 years since my last visit. Not much has changed, the quality has remained the same, as has the boss. The staff is still friendly. Whether on site or by telephone, it doesn't matter, it works great. Food tastes very good, Kyoto is still my favorite in Kassel.

My favorite restaurant in Kassel, which I have often gone to (or even taken something home with me). Everything freshly prepared. Yummy. Run by a nice family. Very good value for money.

Unfortunately, our visit was a disaster. The food was served to us in a rude and intrusive manner. Shortly afterwards, another customer in the restaurant suffered a health problem and collapsed. The staff and manager did not respond to our calls for help; we had to provide first aid ourselves and call the emergency doctor. While we waited for emergency services, the manager repeatedly stated that the problem was not caused by the restaurant and made inappropriate comments about the affected guest. Finally, we were even asked to clean the area, which was completely uncalled for. The atmosphere was cold and inhumane and we were urged to continue eating even though this was not possible under the circumstances. I can't recommend this place under any circumstances.

I was eating there with my group, and you have to say the staff was super unfriendly, the man threw our plate on the table instead of putting it down normally! We sat for a few seconds and the man already came to take the order. So super intrusive. Then there was a person who needed first aid and the man who worked there didn't give first aid and didn't do anything. Instead, a friend had to help the man who was lying on the floor and he was thinking about his floor! and gave her a cloth to wipe it off. If my friend hadn't been there no one would have helped! I was at the Kyoto Grill on October 25th, 2024 and had to experience a very unpleasant situation. A guest near us was clearly suffering from health problems and needed urgent help. Instead of being supportive, the restaurant staff responded with complete indifference. Despite repeated requests to provide help or at least to make an emergency call, the team remained inactive. This behavior was completely unprofessional and shows a lack of responsibility. Even in a restaurant, you should be able to expect the staff to respond appropriately in an emergency. I hope that the restaurant prepares better in the future and trains its employees to take responsibility in such situations. Instead of just worrying about how you are going to clean up the vomit on the floor from the guest.

What can I say! Since everything was closed, we stopped there. Seating inside is not appealing at all. Like in the "train station". You had to order and get drinks at the counter, but the dish was brought to the table by an employee on the phone with pods in their ears. It tasted ok.

The first impression: the room and outside seating look old and careless, but are cleaned regularly. The food is good and, given its price, suitable for regular consumption. The staff is nice and very efficient. The Kyoto Grill has long been established in the area and has proven to be a staple. (If you want luxury, you can pay a lot more and eat less often.)

My favorite Chinese takeaway about 10 years ago. Large tasty portions. With Asian flavor. The place was full, and I could easily communicate with the owner with my rudimentary Chinese language skills at the time. Even if we met outside the snack bar, we always had a nice chat. Also with his wife, who ran an extremely delicious Chinese soup kitchen next door. But today? The 48 consisted of overcooked discount spaghetti, chicken breast in thick breading and lots of carrots, peppered with some sprouts and "egg?". Luckily, I only found one limp brown chip as a surprise in the meal. The snack room was full of guests and the chef was dozing, covered with a large blue bath towel in the back corner of the dining room. I had to write the number of the dish I wanted on a piece of paper to the listless cooks and they showed me the price on the menu. It was around 4 p.m. and I must have run out of steam My very loud 讓老闆睡吧 faded away in the room without comment. Too bad....

The food is quite ok. Unfortunately not what it used to be. It doesn't take 4 minutes before they bring the food. Own Quite good. But the quality goes down a bit. Since the rice is placed on the plate beforehand to prepare it for the next customer, it is usually dry on the outside. The same goes for the orange slice that dries out in the heat of the kitchen. Likewise the parsley decoration. I find the atmosphere sad. We decided to eat inside first. But since there were a few wasps and lots and lots of flies buzzing around the dining room, we decided to sit outside on the corner of the house. Was ok. Better than inside. Please bring your plate to the counter when you're finished instead of leaving it outside. This not only looks stupid but also probably annoys the service staff.
