Künefem Damla in Köln

Their meat bread is truly excellent by German standards. Capturing this flavor in a metal oven is truly excellent. However, they don't have cubed pide on the menu; it would be nice if they did. Their künefe is also quite delicious. It would be better if they had open ayran instead of sealed cans.

I find it very bad once again, from drinks to food to service, I cannot recommend it…

I had eaten the meat bread before and liked it, but this time it was not at all what I expected. It was completely dry, the edges were very hard, we ate it with bated breath, it was burnt, and it was not a service that should be served in front of a customer. They called the dough minced meat and cooked it, and the filling was very little. Also, the service was extremely late, unfortunately we ran out of bread.

The Etli Ekmek is excellent. I recommend it to everyone. The only problem is the music. The music selection is completely wrong. The constant arabesques were overwhelming. The volume was also too loud. I also want to thank the waiters for their attentiveness.

A wonderful experience eating Kunafa in a Turkish shop in Dallas. It was delicious, and with the Kunafa, they added some nuts, ice cream, and fruits. The shop is worth visiting again. The shop is clean, tidy, and has a calm atmosphere.

Disappointing visit...never again! Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant. Right from the start, we had to wait 15 minutes before anyone even took our order. And the restaurant wasn't even particularly busy. After we were seated, the table was still completely dirty. The cleaning staff responded to our polite request to clean the table in an unusually aggressive and unfriendly manner, which made our entire experience unpleasant. After that, another 10 minutes passed before the table was finally cleaned. We also had to wait a full 10 minutes for the menus, which is completely incomprehensible given the lack of business. Overall, the service was slow, uncoordinated, and rude. We definitely won't be coming back.

Very delicious food, especially the Mevlana (minced meat and cheese) is definitely a must! When we come here for dinner, we always order that. The service is very friendly; it's a shame they don't currently offer card payments. There's also a separate "lounge room" at the back where you can have a private getaway with a large group.

Once and never again. I ordered a kunefe with ice cream at Künefem Damla in Cologne – and there was actually a hair in the ice cream. Absolutely unhygienic and completely unacceptable. When I raised this, there was barely any reaction, no apology, and no suggestion of a solution. The visit was disappointing in other respects as well: The staff were very unfriendly, and we were ignored both during ordering and payment. At the end, they suddenly announced that card payments weren't possible – there was no notice anywhere. This should be clearly communicated, especially in this day and age. Overall, a very unpleasant experience – neither the service nor the cleanliness were up to scratch. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the shop.

We ate meat bread based on a recommendation. It's exactly the same taste as the meat bread in Konya, and even when we went to the master, we recommended that they call it meat bread instead of künefem.🤤✨

I have no words for the taste of the meat bread, it was really delicious, but I cannot comment positively on the service. Even though it wasn't that full inside, no one was interested at first, maybe they don't have enough waiters, I don't know. The general attitude was not very hospitable either. When we entered, no one even said welcome etc. At first we thought about getting up and going somewhere else, but we stayed because they praised the meat and bread so much. The künefe wasn't bad either. We paid by card, no problem.

Etliekmek and Mevlana were generally very nice. The dough/bread is thin and crispy, almost perfect. 9/10 points for the dough. The meat could be a little better/tastier. Still deserves 8/10 points 👌🏻 The service was good and the staff was friendly, we were satisfied! 👍🏻 I can say that the biggest shortcoming of the place is the lack of open ayran.

It was the worst kunefe I've ever eaten. I tasted a very different oil. I tasted animal fat, never butter. I asked the girl working, she admitted that we don't use butter, she said no anyway. None of my friends could finish it, it was so bad. It doesn't even deserve one star!

Künefe is one of the best kunefes you can eat in Köln, but it does not taste like turkey, there is little cheese and there is no presentation, I recommend you to eat it with meat here.

The interior design is very nice. I ordered a Turkish coffee with sugar. What I got is a Turkish coffee without sugar and the cup is just very dirty (see picture). In addition, the coffee was served without water. The tables and dishes do not look clean and unhygienic.

If I order Turkish mocha with a sugar, I get Turkish mocha without sugar 😂😂 Because it's easier to combine two orders and prepare them in one cezve! Because my girlfriend always drinks it without sugar, and since we ordered together, my request is always ignored!!! I find 2.50 euros for a half-full cup (mini cup, mind you) outrageous!!

We had a delicious Künefe plate with cream, fruit and pistachio nuts. I found the music a bit too loud in the restaurant. In addition, the leftover künefe and pistachio nuts should be packed. The nuts were not given to us, even though we explicitly communicated this. A bit sad because we paid for it. In any case, ask people for a real receipt and take it home.
