The food was good but the service was terrible!! Our food was simply taken away even though we weren't finished yet. The wrong food was initially brought and then something was missing. The waitresses ignored us and didn't make us feel comfortable!!

The starter was brought sometime after the main course, although it was clearly communicated when ordering that it should be brought beforehand. In addition, the wrong food was brought and something was still missing. The waitresses were sometimes very rude and ignored us. We were also told on the phone when we made the reservation that everything inside was "full", but that wasn't the case We didn't feel welcome and wouldn't recommend the restaurant or visit it again. I posted this review yesterday, but it was simply deleted!!

We waited alot after being seated for waiter to come and take our orders. Overall food was good. Liked appetizers more than main course. Kebobs were not being cooked thoroughly

The oldest (?) cinema in Berlin, film art cinema with a very personal touch, comfortable seats with lots of legroom, good technology, ventilation could be a little better. Good program. A cinema that will hopefully last for a long time

I was here in my plate a wait of men 🤢 I've already left without saying anything, then I eat It's not everything, unfortunately I couldn't sleep well the whole night because of stomach pain, the Kabak wasn't fried well, which is why I have stomach pain from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The food was delicious, but they don't let you sit where you want, they gather everyone together. We couldn't enjoy the meal at all because we were forced to sit next to a family with lots of children. It was terrible and not a pleasant memory

Im usually in Berlin only for summers, and all year round, I wait to come here and get some kabob! I love their Koobideh kabob. The portion is pretty good, and it comes with sides of greens and onions. I always order the koobideh here, so i haven't tried anything else, but their Seer Torshi, which is pretty good too! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice and well decorated!

Excellent Persian restaurant and our favorite in Berlin. Koobideh was some of the best I’ve had in years with perfect char, still juicy and well seasoned.

Even if any additional bread is charged, no free asides (for 5 people they took a single, mid range plate of greens, no tea offer, etc. etc.) of I've eaten in several Persian restaurants in Berlin. Chelokabab was the tastiest of all. The option with three different khoreshts were also exciting as gave you the possibility to taste three different dishes.

The worst restaurant I have ever eaten in in Berlin. The ambience is very bad, outside you can hear the loud highway, inside it is very rustic and uncomfortable. The food was also very bad. There was rice with bone-in chicken, no salad, bread or even sauces. I have never experienced anything like it. And the highlight was that I felt an underlying racism in this restaurant. We were given the feeling that we were not welcome as Germans. We were ignored, no please or thank you, annoyed reactions to questions, made to wait forever, whereas the Persian customers were treated noticeably nicely. We felt very uncomfortable and will not come back again.

Best and juiciest kebabs that i have tasted to date!

After a month we wanted to enjoy our dinner in the Persian restaurant. We were first offered a table for two people, which was not clean and we were asked to move to another table close to the bar. The food was delicious but it was terribly loud and disrespectful to guests! The waiters made so much noise with drying utensils that I could no longer eat my food in peace!! An unpleasant, disrespectful atmosphere towards the guests, quite uncultured!!

Very good choice for Iranian dishes

The food was very tasty, especially the Fesenjan with rice. For dessert there was Napoleon ice cream, which had saffron, pistachios and a small piece of frozen cream in it. There was also falode shirazi, thinner noodles with butter and a cherry and lemon sauce poured over it.

The best Iranian restaurant in Berlin! We've been going there for years! Thank you for everything!

All I can say is that it was a great evening. Good tea, nice starters and what a lamb or I had the veal and it was all really very delicately spiced, well seasoned and was a joy to eat. It is served without a lot of frills, as I think it should be in this kitchen. Great experience on the last evening in Berlin. Thanks for that.

We spontaneously had lunch here with 8 people during the week; spacious ambience; everyone felt comfortable. I find the service to be unobtrusive, probably borderline too inattentive for others. Food was cheap and convincing. I'd love to come back.

Even though Persian cuisine is meat heavy, I easily found several amazing vegetarian dishes here. Everything tasted really good, portions are big but it’s not a problem to take leftovers home. The service was a bit confused when it comes to food allergies, but in the end everything worked out. Plenty of Persians dining there which I take as a sign of authenticity! Cards accepted.

Ich habe viele persische Restaurants ausprobiert. Nach Jahren wollte ich das Hafis wieder besuchen. Es ist etwa so wie früher. Die Qualität des Essens hat sich konstant auf 4 Sterne gehalten. Wir bestellten Fesendschan (mit Hühnchen, Walnüssen und Granatapfelsirup) und Qeyme (Lammfleisch mit Auberginen). Das Letzte war jedoch nicht so gut. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Ambiente war angenehm. Im Hintergrund lief stets persische Popmusik. Reservierung per Telefon war problemlos.

Draußen kann man nicht wirklich sitzen. Es ist durch die Stadtautobahn und die Kantstraße unheimlich laut. Im Restaurant richt es stark nach Essen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Dunstabzugshaube nicht richtig funktioniert haben muss. Es ist unangenehm, wenn man vom Essen kommt und die Kleidung nach Küche riecht.

Heute Abend haben wir einen wunderschönen, geselligen Abend in diesem persischen Restaurant verbracht. Der Service war geradezu perfekt. Aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter haben das Ambiente vervollkommned. Das abgebildete Essen hätte für mindestens zwei hungrige Personen gereicht. Danke für den schönen Abend an das Personal 😊🤗

The waitresses and service and "Bastani Sonati also Doogh" are very good and the atmosphere is nice. Wie ist es, dass das ein Restaurant ist, das keine Lieferung für Essensbestellungen außerhalb des Restaurantgeländes anbietet und die Mitarbeiter dieses Restaurants sagen, dass man selbst kommen und das Essen holen muss? Wenn ich und andere genug Zeit hätten, würde ich Lieferung nicht nutzen. Ich und viele andere sind mit der Arbeit beschäftigt, und wir können aufgrund der Sensibilität unserer Arbeit nicht ins Restaurant kommen, um Essen abzuholen, Essen zu bestellen oder gar zu essen. Ich hoffe, dass der Restaurantleiter bald eine vernünftige Lösung für dieses Problem finden wird. Andernfalls würde das Restaurant in diesem Fall viele seiner Kunden verlieren.

Ich war positiv überrascht. Sind sehr freundlich und das Essen ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut. Preislich ist es auch vertretbar. Alles in allem, ich werde dort wieder hin.

It was just okay. We ordered three different dishes, but none of them were authentic. My baghali polo was dry, and the meat Ajou was not tasty at all; it was watery. The Kubideh Kebab was ok but greasy, and the vegetarian dish was just okay. Additionally, our first server was not able to fully understand, despite having a German person with us, but the second server was fine. Generally, I believe there are much better Persian restaurants with higher quality in Berlin. I don’t recommend this restaurant!

Ich war heute bei der Arbeit und habe ein Menü von Hafis Restaurant bestellt. Das Essen war ungenießbar und der Service war schlecht. Es waren keine Löffel oder Gabeln im Paket enthalten, sodass ich mit den Händen essen musste. Als ich im Restaurant anrief, um nachzufragen, warum dies so ist, wurde ich unhöflich behandelt. Und Sehr teuere resturan. Negatives: Essen war ungenießbar Service war schlecht Keine Löffel oder Gabeln im Paket Unhöfliches Personal Fazit: Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant nicht weiter. Ich werde hier nie wieder bestellen. Empfehlungen für das Restaurant: Das Essen sollte verbessert werden. Der Service sollte freundlicher und aufmerksamer sein. Löffel und Gabeln sollten in jedes Paket gepackt werden. امروز سر کار بودم و از رستوران حافظ منو سفارش دادم. غذا غیر قابل خوردن بود و سرویس دهی ضعیف بود. هیچ قاشق یا چنگالی در بسته وجود نداشت، بنابراین مجبور شدم با دستانم غذا بخورم. وقتی با رستوران تماس گرفتم تا بپرسم چرا این اتفاق می افتد، با من رفتار بی ادبانه ای شد. با وجود قیمت بسیار زیاد ولی متاسفانه بسیار بی ادب و گستاخ هستند و کیفیت به شدت پایینه غذا غیر قابل خوردن بود سرویس بد بود بدون قاشق و چنگال در بسته بندی کارکنان بی ادب نتیجه: من این رستوران را توصیه نمی کنم. من دیگر هرگز اینجا سفارش نمی دهم. توصیه های رستوران: غذا باید اصلاح شود. خدمات باید دوستانه تر و توجه بیشتری باشد. قاشق و چنگال باید در هر بسته بسته بندی شود.

Love the food. The Kebabs, specially Chello Kebab are the signature dishes. The place reminds me of Chandni Chole in New Delhi. So to all my Indian friends, if you want to have good Kebabs, this is the place.

This is one of our must-go restaurants whenever we travel to Berlin. We always enjoy not only the food but also the atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. Prices aren’t neither cheap nor expensive. All in all we never regret spending money there. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Sehr aufmerksam, freundlich & lecker Ich war hier gerne zu Gast. Alle meine Fragen zur Karte wurden freundlich beantwortet. Und beim Servieren des gemischten Tellers jedes Gericht nochmal beschrieben. Der vegetarische Teller ist sehr zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank

Sehr schönes Restaurant, allerdings dauert es sehr lange bis das Essen kommt, daher ein Stern Abzug.

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier hier zu zweit und wurden leider nicht gut bedient. Trotz relativ leere Tische und 2 Kellner*innen hat das ca. 60 Minuten gedauert bis wir unser Essen bekommen haben. Uns wurden Besteck und Servietten nach Anfrage gebracht. Obwohl wir am Anfang erwähnt hatten, dass wir die Portionen teilen werden und dazu einen Extra Teller brauchen bzw. (Bei der Nachspeise extra Löffel) wurde der Wunsch ignoriert bzw. Vergessen. Die Ambiente war ganz okay aber die Tische nicht so sauber. Auch genutzte Teller wurden ewig nicht weggeräumt. Die drei Sterne gebe ich nur für das Essen. Es war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren groß.

Sehr guter Service bei meinem Besuch gestern. Die Kellner waren trotz Stress weil es so voll war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam ! Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und es wurden extra für mich vegetarische Speisen zubereitet, die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Essen war auch sehr lecker, kann ich nur empfehlen!

Meine Frau sagt absolut original persisch. Für mich ein Punktabzug beim kashk o bodemjun für meinen persönlichen Geschmack. Meine Frau (perserin) sagt: es war gut. Somit 9/10 fürs Essen.

Das ist das zweiten Mal, dass wir im Restaurant Hafis essen. Der Kabab Kubideh, Djuje Kabab waren perfekt und als Vorspeise hatten wir die sehr leckere Kashkobademjan. Das persische Eis ist genauso richtig und der schwarze Tee schmeckt wunderbar. Der Mitarbeiter war zu uns freundlich und nett. Ich empfehle es immer...

I can say it's a real Iranian food. If you really like to taste Persian foods I really recommend it.

God mad. Dårlig service Vi var derover med 3 børn. Da de så børn med os, fik vi et bord ved en sidste hjørne. Efter vores mad legede børnene lidt med ikke høj lyd. En man kom med den dårligste attitude Og sagde her tager vi hensyn til gæster så børnene skulle være stille. Rigtig sur service medarbejder. Ikke til børnefamilie. Kun par eller gamle mennesker.

Ich bin selbst Iraner und wollte heute mit mein Kind hier essen!! Aber der Kellner hat richtig Stress gemacht und war unfreundlich, ich habe selber Getränk Karte geholt !!!! Heute war meiner letzter Tage,dass ich dort gegessen habe. Teuer und der Kellner ist sehr respektlos.

Das Fleisch war schon alt und das könnte man sofort merken, bei meine Mochito war das Minze und Zitrone nicht frisch und mindestens 2 Tage alt, Insgesamt haben wir 40 Euro bezahlt für nix, Hafis war früher viel besser von der Qualität. Leider ich werde nicht wieder hin gehen..

Bei meinem letzten Besuch in diesem Restaurant vor fast vier Jahren hatte ich eine fantastische Erfahrung mit exzellentem Service und qualitativ hochwertigem Essen. Doch mein jüngster Besuch letzte Woche hinterließ bei mir eine tiefe Enttäuschung. Der Service war unglaublich langsam, und es dauerte über eine Stunde, bis unsere Bestellung zubereitet wurde. Leider war das Soltani-Gericht, das ich bestellt hatte, eines der qualitativ schlechtesten Gerichte, die ich in europäischen iranischen Restaurants erlebt habe. Zu meiner Enttäuschung war die Hintergrundmusik extrem laut und passte nicht zum iranischen Thema. Es handelte sich eher um nervige Partymusik. Zu meiner Überraschung durfte einer der Kunden sogar seinen Hund mit ins Restaurant bringen. Abgesehen von hygienischen Bedenken war es keine angenehme Erfahrung, ständig das Gebell eines Hundes zu hören, während man versucht, sein Essen zu genießen. Des Weiteren wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass Ayran (Dough) nicht auf der Speisekarte stand, als wir es bestellen wollten. Kannst du dir ein iranisches Restaurant ohne Ayran vorstellen? Das Fehlen dieses Getränks war enttäuschend und unerwartet, da es ein Grundnahrungsmittel in der iranischen Küche ist. Insgesamt blieb mein jüngstes Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant weit hinter meinen früheren positiven Erfahrungen zurück. Der langsame Service, die mangelhafte Qualität des Essens, die unangemessene Musikauswahl und das Fehlen eines traditionellen iranischen Getränks hinterließen bei mir ein Gefühl der Enttäuschung. Ich hoffe, dass das Restaurant diese Probleme angehen und die Qualitäten zurückgewinnen kann, die es in der Vergangenheit ausgezeichnet haben.

Ich habe noch nie eine unhöflichere und überfordertere Bedienung erlebt wie hier! Das Essen war gut, Ausser die Tomaten, die scheinbar mit Zucker gegrillt wurden! Alles andere war eine Katastrophe! Wir wurden angemacht vom Kellner, stehen gelassen, dann mussten wir auf unser Essen 1,5 Stunden sowie auf Getränke fast 45 Minuten warten. Man traute sich nicht einmal etwas nachzubestellen. Wir wurden mit den Worten empfangen, man sei nur zur zweit. Wenn es uns nicht passt, dann können wir woanders hin. Sie bräuchten unser Geld nicht. Ich empfehle eines der zahlreichen anderen Persischen Restaurants, die mindestens genauso gutes Essen haben und ein weitaus besseres Verständnis für Service!

Die Qualität von kubideh (kebab) und Reis war sehr schlecht, wir mussten 40 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Im Allgemeinen war der Service schrecklich. Als wir sie fragten, wann sie unser Essen bringen würden, wurden wir unhöflich behandelt. Im Allgemeinen schien es ihnen egal zu sein. Wenn das Essen gut wäre, würde sich das Warten trotzdem lohnen, aber leider war die Qualität des Essens schrecklich.

On the plus side, the location is very convenient and easy to reach, which is always a big plus for me. When we arrived with our two kids, they seemed a bit annoyed and flustered, as if they were not expecting young children. Despite the fact that it was 4pm and the restaurant was almost completely empty, they had trouble finding a suitable table for us and seemed to rush us through the ordering process. Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 3 out of 5. While the food was good and the location was convenient, the unfriendly personnel and lack of accommodations for families with children left a sour taste in my mouth. If you're looking for a quick bite and don't mind a less-than-warm welcome, this restaurant might be worth checking out. But if you're traveling with kids or looking for a more leisurely dining experience, you might want to look elsewhere.
