Kugo Sushi Restaurant in Nagold

Nicht vergleichbar mit bisherigen Erfahrungen in Sushi Lokalen. Aus der Küche kam die Abluft in den Außenbereich wo wir saßen und es roch streng nach altem Fett.

Bin zwar kein Endgegner, jedoch das nenne ich mal gutes, frisch zubereitetes Essen mit wirklich freundlichem Service. Wartezeit war voll ok, Preise finde ich angemessen. Zum Gegenchecken werde ich wieder kommen:)

Gestern aufm Geburtstag meiner Tochter waren alle sehr positiv überrascht vom Essen. Wir hatten die Kugo Mega Mix Platte. Alles Top. Wir gehen auch sehr gerne im Restaurant essen.

Leckeres Essen wie immer!! Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne hier her zum Essen. Sehr guter Service !!

Bestes Restaurant dass es in Nagold gibt! So nette Mitarbeiter, vorallem die Kellnerin shams. Sehr netter und schneller Service mit mega Essen! Alles wird frisch gemacht und man kann es sogar mit beobachten auch sehr schönes Interieur.

Essen war ohne Mängel und geschmacklich gut. Allerdings habe ich ausdrücklich eine Cola Zero bestellt, geliefert wurde leider eine normale Cola. Die Lieferzeit war dafür top – keine lange Wartezeit.

Essen war sehr gut aber der Service sehr chaotisch aber freundlich. Online Bestellungen wurden vorgezogen und vor der Kundschaft Probleme ausdiskutiert. Wir mussten 20 Minuten auf eine Cola und einen Tee warten. Obwohl nur 3 Tische besetzt waren. Letztendlich wurden wir aber freundlich bedient.

Bestes Sushi was ich je hatte. Der Chef ist auch sehr korrekt. Bedienung und Ambiente auch super!

Ich war schon zig-fach dort. Zum mittags-buffet. Immer gleichbleibende Qualität auf hohem Niveau. Keine massenabfertigung, immer mega frisch und super temperiert... Preis / Leistung kaum zu übertreffen. Gerne wieder..

A star is present - absolute Empfehlung! Wer Sushi liebt muss zu Kugo Sushi gehen und die liebevoll angerichteten Sushi essen. Ich bin schon in wirklich vielen Sushi Bars und Restaurants gewesen. Daher weiß ich dass das Sushi dort TOP ist. Sowohl die Qualität, als auch die Frische ist hervoragend. Und das Ambiente des Lokales ist ebenfalls superschön.

Das Kugo ist ein echtes kleines Highlight! Schon beim Betreten spürt man sofort das liebevoll gestaltete, gemütliche Ambiente, das dem Lokal eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre verleiht. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und willkommen. Das Personal ist absolut top – freundlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln unterwegs. Der Service wirkt professionell, aber gleichzeitig angenehm locker und herzlich, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Jeder Teller ist frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Die Kombination aus tollem Service, leckerem Essen und gemütlichem Ambiente macht den Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis. Ein Restaurant, das man definitiv weiterempfehlen kann – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Erstaunlich, wie wandlungsfähig Erinnerungen nach zwei Jahren sein können. Die Wartezeit von über drei Stunden war keineswegs Erfunden,auch wenn es im Nachhinein bequemer erscheint, das anders darzustellen. Ganz am Rande: Damals fehlte sogar ein Teil der Bestellung, und die Portionen standen in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Kritik verliert nicht an Gültigkeit, nur weil man sie abstreitet. Und ein Blick in die übrigen Kommentare legt nahe, dass der Umgang damit wohl generell nicht zu Ihren Stärken zählt. Das macht „sprachlos“ und mit diesem Kommentar haben Sie sich definitiv Ihre 2. Chance selbst genommen.

Das Kugo ist ein kleines Juwel, etwas versteckt mitten in Nagold gelegen. Von einem japanischen Sushimeister zubereitetes Sushi in bester Qualität und Optik. Es wird unter anderem auch Sushi mit Fisch aus regionaler Zucht angeboten: Schwarzwälder Lachsforelle und Stör. Die Lachsforelle zergeht auf der Zunge, der geräucherte Stör ist zart und leicht würzig. Die Hoso-Maki mit knuspriger Forellenhaut sind ungewöhnlich, aber wirklich lecker. Mittags wird ein preiswertes Menü mit Misosuppe, Gyoza, Sushi und Getränk angeboten. Alles sehr fein. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich aufmerksam um seine Gäste, mit großem Qualitätsbewusstsein und viel Liebe zum Detail. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Was very tasty food I can only recommend great service and easy to find

We were absolutely thrilled again today. We had visitors from Regensburg. He won't be eating sushi at home any time soon, it was so delicious here. My granddaughter (12) also raved about it. The only thing was the music—I'm probably too old—was a bit too loud for me. Great quality at a fair price.

I'm sorry, but not everything that glitters is gold! The service was truly underwhelming. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our order, which was for two Coke Zeros, to our table. The appetizer was different than expected, but the taste was perfectly fine. The main course was unfortunately not good. The two of us ordered sushi worth almost €50. Sushi is expensive, but it was perfectly fine, but there was simply nothing on the plate for the money! We had mentioned an intolerance beforehand, but there was still a lactose product included, which quickly ruined my companion's evening. The sushi mayonnaise was too much (yes, that's just complaining at a high level), but it affected the flavor too much. Unfortunately, the tuna wasn't particularly good. We both ended up with stomach aches, and a visit to the bathroom was unavoidable. Ps.: Please hire staff like the young lady with the dark blond hair (without glasses) Service makes up for a lot

I've been to a few sushi places, but Kugo has by far the most delicious sushi. You can taste the freshness and the quality. There's a huge selection, and I'm always satisfied. The sushi combinations are also truly amazing. Kudos to the sushi chefs; you know what you're doing.

Worst company I've ever seen. The man with the coin acts like a gangster, just like the lady who thinks she has to be right every time. I will tell all my friends what kind of company this is and will 100% not eat there again. It's simply outrageous behavior!!!!

That’s how we found ourselves at this restaurant, having made a reservation the night before after indulging in some fantastic Italian food just around the corner (because balance is key, right?). First impressions? The decor is pretty nice, and the stone table adds a cool touch. But let’s talk about the real danger here: the lighting. Specifically, the lamp hovering above my head like a poorly planned booby trap. Every bite of sushi came with a side of mild anxiety, as I constantly feared an impromptu headbutt with the light fixture. Dining should be an enjoyable experience, not a stealth-based survival challenge. Now, onto the service. It took an unexpectedly long time to even get the menu—so long that I started considering a career as a sushi chef just to speed things up. When we finally got our hands on the menu, we realized it was an encyclopedia of options, which meant another significant chunk of time was spent just deciding what to order. Once the food arrived, though, it was worth the wait. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. However, the slow service struck again when we tried to order more. First, a waiter attempted to take our order without bringing the menu (a bold move, considering we don’t have photographic memory). Then, after another unnecessarily long wait, a different waiter finally came to take our order properly. Final verdict: The food was fantastic, but the service felt like an uncoordinated relay race where no one knew who had the baton. A little improvement on that front, and this place could be truly outstanding. Just maybe raise the lights a bit before someone ends up concussed mid-meal!

Together with my friend we were in the mood for sushi. I wouldn't have expected it in Nagold, but we weren't disappointed. Nice people and delicious sushi. We started with 2 large rolls and they were really tasty. Flavor Bomb - CRISPY TEMPURA FUTO MAKI VEGETARIAN WITH GUACAMOLE TOPPING €16.90 (was delicious, could use a little more spice) and SHAKE-AVOCADO-MAKI SALMON, AVOCADO, MAYONNAISE €14.90 (It was delicious) When we reordered we had RAINBOW MAKI TUNA, SALMON, BUTTERFISH, AVOCADO, CRAB MEAT €15.90 (it was delicious, we would order it again) & MANGO CHICKEN MAKI BAKED CHICKEN MEAT, MANGO, CURRY SAUCE €16.50 (we wouldn't order it again, chicken is cold and the taste is somehow artificial) Overall, tasty with small optimization points. The staff was friendly and there was a small touch of dry ice with every order... you can see my pictures and the video...

Four of us had dinner here in the evening. Without a reservation it was no problem getting a spot on weekdays. Food was consistently top!! Sushi was very good quality!

Unfortunately, I feel completely ripped off. We waited 50 minutes for our order. Price performance is simply not right at all. We bought sushi for 2 people for 50 euros and weren't even full afterwards! I've also had stomach pain since then. It was a failure front and back. Will never go there again, extremely disappointed

First I would like to take a stand for the catering industry. The constant complaining about the price without evaluating the services offered really annoys me. I give this sushi bar 5 stars for the following reasons: The restaurant is clean and comfortably furnished, the conditions were friendly and competent, the sushi was prepared beautifully and tasted very good. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back 🙂👍If you prefer to eat mass instead of class, you can go to a chip shop with XXL schnitzel, but if you want to have a delicious and comfortable meal, and not just for pure nourishment, come here. 🙂

We just ordered (January 7th, 2024) unfortunately not everything was delivered, but the full price was charged. For the price you can expect that what is ordered will be packed. Therefore not recommended. The receipt was taken away after cashing out, so it's not clear what exactly was paid for, for me that's a tactic! The price is not justified for the amount of fish processed.
