Our room was clean and modern. The beds very comfortable. The breakfast was small but nice! Great coffee, perfect egg. The restaurant is great! We treated ourselves to venison and venison dumplings and were simply thrilled! And the icing on the cake is the very friendly service and the very nice host family. Best regards

Wir haben vergangenen Samstag unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und die Eisenbahn als Caterer engagiert. Wir waren rundum äußerst zufrieden. Top Service! Top Personal! Top Essen! Alles vom Feinsten und durchweg sehr professionell vom Erstkontakt bis zum Event selbst. Wir hatten den perfekten Tag und dazu hat vor allem die Eisenbahn einen großen Beitrag geleistet. Wir können die Eisenbahn von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen!

We celebrated our wedding last Saturday and hired the railway as a caterer. We were completely satisfied. Top service! Top staff! Top food! Everything was top notch and very professional throughout from the first contact to the event itself. We had the perfect day and the railway in particular made a big contribution to this. We can wholeheartedly recommend the railway!

Every now and then we are guests on the train. Now it is time to publicly say thank you to the railway team and staff. Everything is just right here. A look at the food and drink menu says it all. If you are sensitive to flavor enhancers (e.g. glutamate), the traffic light is green!!! That is also worth a donation to us. Thank you. WS

Yesterday we had dinner in the beautifully decorated restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation, the restaurant was full. I had the pepper steak. Wonderful meat, wonderful pepper sauce, lots of delicious vegetables, everything beautifully presented. Honestly, I haven't had such a delicious dish in a long time. Star suspicious! It also has its price, but you get the ultimate enjoyment in return. And the staff extremely attentive and friendly. Thank you.

Good home cooking, very friendly staff. Prices are very high, side dishes should not be served on the plate here. Taste of the food perfect. Salad is mostly good, but I find pasta salad unnecessary for dishes with spaetzle.

I did NOT stay in the hotel, but I did eat in the restaurant. The overall impression was very good. When I entered the location, my partner and I were greeted immediately and were able to get a seat without a reservation. The food came to the table very quickly, even at a busy time. The price is in the higher mid-range, but justified. The taste of the dishes is very good with good home cooking. We had a turkey steak and wild boar medallions with spaetzle. Everything went well with the sauce and the starter salad. I'll definitely be back.

I was with my family at the Eisenbahn Inn. A real culinary delight! The tomato cream soup was delicious, the cream turkey schnitzel was tender and the banana split was a perfect ending. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is extremely friendly. An all-round successful visit to the restaurant. 5 Stars!

Alle Gerichte auf der Speisekarte sind empfehlenswert. Sehr kompetentes und freundliches Service Personal. Komme immer gerne wieder.

Haben dort unser Weihnachtsessen gefeiert. War jetzt nicht so gut wie ich gedacht hatte. Flädlesuppe war etwas salzig auch der Paprikaschnitzel war etwas zu gut gewürzt. Dafür haben die Spätzle nach nichts geschmeckt. Meine Pommes und die Kroketten meiner Kollegin trocken. Das einzige was sehr gut aussah und anscheinend auch gut geschmeckt hat laut Kollegin war das warme Apfelküchle. Die Bedienung war nicht gerade freundlich und wollte schnell Feierabend machen. Ich wollte noch ein Dessert und war am schauen, aber schon war sie wieder weg. Muss ich nicht nochmal hin gehen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service war schnell. Leider war das Servicepersonal nicht sonderlich nett, ich würde mir wünschen bei Fragen eine Antwort zu bekommen, bei der ich mich nicht doof fühle. Als schwangere Person ist es sehr berechtigt, zu fragen ob Alkohol im Dessert ist. Ein kurzes ja oder nein würde genügen statt die Augen zu verdrehen und unangenehm zu antworten. Die ältere Dame war nett, die jüngere braunhaarige leider überhaupt nicht.

Waren zur Weihnachtsfeier mit 20 Personen zum Essen da. Bedienung sehr sehr nett. Essen war hervorragend. Portionen sehr reichlich. Und wir haben alle zusammen das essen serviert bekommen.

Das Restaurant ist perfekt. Wir hatten ein super Essen . Wir haben auch übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind ganz neu renoviert und sehr schön. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Für unsere Hochzeit im Juli hatten wir das Catering (Essen sowie die Getränke plus Servicepersonal) vom Gasthof Eisenbahn und waren mehr als zufrieden. Die Abstimmungen im Vorfeld waren sehr unkompliziert und alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Am Tag der Feier hat alles wunderbar funktioniert und alle Gäste waren happy. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam und es mangelte an nichts. Familie Rempp hat sich auch nach dem Fest um alle Angelegenheiten (Abbau, Abholung Kühlwagen, etc) selbstständig gekümmert. Für uns als Brautpaar war dies sehr angenehm und stressfrei. Wir können den Gasthof Eisenbahn wärmstens empfehlen.

Nicht ganz billig, aber Qualität hat ihren Preis. Ausgezeichnete Küche und nettes Personal. Jeder Zeit wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine Institution! Das beste Restaurant in Nagold. Ich komme seit über 15 Jahren her und es wird tatsächlich immer besser! Danke für den tollen Service und die tollen Speisen.

Leckere Klassiker der schwäbischen Küche, sehr fein zubereitet, mit toller Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl (auch mit vegetarischen Alternativen), angemessenem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, hoher Qualität und komfortablem Ambiente. Der Service ist jedes Mal aufs Neue sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten die Eisenbahn im September 2023 als Catering für unsere Hochzeit in einer nahegelegenen Location gebucht und wir waren rundum sehr glücklich. Es lief alles aus einer Hand, das Essen, Getränke und Service. Es war einfach perfekt, wie alles organisiert war. Auch unsere Gäste waren mehr als zufrieden und haben die Eisenbahn sehr gelobt. Das Essen war für knapp 120 Gäste qualitativ vom Feinsten und super lecker. Auch die Servicekräfte waren immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles verlief reibungslos und das vom Sektempfang bis hin zum Ende unserer Feier. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir die unkomplizierte Zusammenarbeit im Vorfeld mit Familie Rempp. Wir haben uns immer in besten Händen gefühlt und wir würden es immer wieder so machen. Wir kommen immer wieder auch gerne zum Essen ins Restaurant und freuen uns darauf.

Wir haben lange Jahre dort gewohnt und kennen den Hotel / Gasthof Eisenbahn. Vor fünf Jahren sind wir dann von Nagold weggezogen. Nun waren wir für vier Tage als Gäste im Hotel / Gasthof Eisenbahn. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, was sehr schön und sauber war mit Blick in den Garten. Das Essen dort ist nach wie vor sehr gut und die Wirtsleute und das Personal sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Gute Küche, sehr zu empfehlen. Ich war schon öfters im Gasthof essn. Jedes mal sehr gut. Etwas teuer geworden.

Leicht gehobene Gastronomie mit schwäbischen Klassikern. Nach gut einem Dutzend Besuchen lässt sich feststellen: Kein einziges Essen war unperfekt. Durch die Bank schmeckt alles ausgezeichnet. Das ist wirklich tolle Kochkunst, die die Wirtsleute hier betreiben.

Schönes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedingung und das Essen ist das beste was ich in letzter Zeit gegessen habe. Man kann super draußen sitzen mit genügend Schatten. Was besser sein könnte, wäre eine bessere Beleuchtung abends, eine Kerze ist da zu wenig. Hier komme ich gerne wieder.

Seit wir in Nagold wohnen, waren wir mehrfach hier. Jedes Mal wurden wir ausnehmend freundlich bedient . Die Speisen waren von hoher Qualität . Hier werden wir noch öfter essen gehen.

It's not bad, but was not worth it. We ordered some schnitzels and they oversized and overpriced. The lebelknoedelsuppe was very tasty !

We’ve been there with family. Most other restaurants have been closed at a Monday. In a nutshell: service was very friendly and there when we needed it. Food was really good, pricing was reasonable. It’s a “we will come back”!

This restaurant does all-day hot food, you can sit inside or outside. Service is generally fairly prompt. Food is mostly Swebian, eg "Spaetzle" pasta, lovelt beef and veal hotpots, or the traditional lentil stew with sausages. Nothing fancy but that's what you get in this part of the world. I ate there 3 times for lunch, and the first 2 times the food was tasty, and portions absolutely huge. Tasty salads, too. On the third occasion the food was a catastrophe, but that seems to have been the odd one out. Recommended if you want to taste the traditional local cuisine. Make sure you come with a big appetite, the food is not cheap, so you want to finish your plate!
