It is definitely a very high quality place 🙏 I recommend it. It was a different pleasure to eat such a delicious meal after a 2 hour journey. Thank you, everything was very nice. I would also like to thank the staff for their attention. From now on, when I say ulum, I think of ember kangal 🍀🍀

Went there yesterday with the whole family, there were more than 20 people. Despite this, everything was brought to the table very quickly and competently. And the food was of the highest quality and delicious. The staff was also very competent and accommodating.

The kebab was empty, a very large bread with a little salad, very dry and too expensive. You can have better kebab on the parallel street for 6 euros. If you are not Turkish, don't go.

The kebab is great in itself but nothing special. I think it's a shame that everything there takes so long and you wait almost 20-25 minutes for a kebab. The ambience doesn't really suit a kebab shop either; it's more chic and restaurant-style and not really suitable for a kebab shop. But the main criticism is the very wait time and the prices, which are quite high.

Disaster! Despite reservation!! Wait a minute! No place received! Bang full! Guests wait and wait for their food! Unprofessionalism 10 out of 10! First impression dirty and unhygienic unfriendly! Are gone!

Everything was incredibly delicious and of high quality, especially the friendliness of the staff, the fast and high-quality service, the quality of the food and the size of the portions. The prices were very reasonable. Among the desserts, baklava was delicious. I would like to thank the entire Köz Mangal team, especially Mr. Erdoğan.

Price/performance could be better. Staff is very nice, but a bit slow. We like to eat Turkish and drove 50km by car. Thanks to my wife for accompanying me - without her I would have been annoyed about the time lost. Too bad.

Six of us ate in this restaurant yesterday. The starters and main course were outstanding, everything was wonderful. We were very satisfied and can recommend it to everyone.

Food top. Unfortunately the toilet isn't very clean. Otherwise everything was very good.

The place is very beautiful and I have had the opportunity to come here many times. In Ulm, this is the first place that comes to mind when you want to eat meat. The Adana and chicken skewer are great, but the meat skewer is a 7 out of 10, edible. Still, it's good that you exist, Köz.

Food was very tasty, quality and taste were really great! It's a Turkish restaurant and not a run-of-the-mill kebab. The ambience is also nice and clean, and the toilets are also hygienic. Unfortunately, the 1 meter Adana Kebab only consisted of 5 skewers, even though there was a lot of bread, rice, delicious dips and some salad. But in my opinion it's not justified for €50.

Ordered a mixed plate of Köz Kebab, price €24.90. According to the menu 1 skewer of chicken, 1 skewer of lamb, 1 lamb chop, 1 Adana and kebab. Sounds very good for a meat eater like me. But when I received the plate, I was shocked. There were less than 100 grams of meat on the plate. 1/3 Adana, 2 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces of lamb, 1 mini lamb chop and a fork of kebab. I finished eating in less than 2 minutes. In some restaurants you get larger portions as a starter. Price performance absolutely not justified. If I had ordered a normal kebab I might have been instead. For that money I could have gotten at least 3 kebabs. I'm really deeply disappointed, I'm hungry and I was ripped off with a price of €24.90 for a plate that wasn't even worth €10. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because there wasn't enough to judge. That was the first and last time for me in this restaurant. The service was actually very friendly and nice. The “food” came very, very quickly. Price performance very bad. I can't judge food. Hygiene in toilet, very disgusting. Cleanliness in the restaurant was acceptable.

Taste was quite good, portions were ok too. Prices are a bit overpriced. Price-performance is not the best: e.g. €15.50 for a kebab plate is a proud price.

I picked up an Adana Dürüm during my lunch break today (October 24th, 2024) and I am deeply disappointed in this juice shop I wasn't happy with it even before that the service and friendliness of the staff But today the bird was shot down when I took a few bites of my Dürüm, I could feel something hard in my mouth and when I took it out I had to see it in the pictures, stupid!!!!!!! !!!u 1 star is actually too much for this piss hole! but unfortunately 0 is not possible (By the way, I now have a fatal stomach ache)

I've been in Germany for 28 years, the most delicious things I've ever eaten were kelle paça, döner and lahmacun. Homemade buttermilk is amazing. The crispy lahmacun inside is very delicious. The taste and salt of the veal doner kebab is just right. On top of that, the super fast, friendly service is a treat. The kitchen is in front of your eyes; Chefs, employees, everything is spotless. Also, the toilets are very stylish and clean. It's definitely worth going. We are looking forward to the NRW branch (Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Münster, Bochum, it doesn't matter ;).

I ate there with my family as I have done many times before and can only warmly recommend this restaurant, the dishes are very tasty and fresh. We have lentil soup, mixed grill plates, chicken skewer, lahmacun, liver skewer, and dessert with rice pudding and katandibi that is like jelly. Everything was perfect and the service was very friendly and super fast. Despite it being so busy, the waiters were always polite and friendly wow. Please reserve in advance otherwise you may have to wait for a table but it will be worth the wait. The prices are fair and okay for me. I don't know where you can eat better with your family in Ulm. I completely forgot that the kebab meat is cut very thinly and not too greasy and is made from veal. Keep up the great work.

I come from Austria. Was there a month ago and it was said that grilled dishes would be available again next week. I went back last week and it was time for next week. It's a real shame when you come from afar and there are no grilled dishes, although the specialty is the grilled dishes. So if you are going please inform in advance or call would be better for you

Very tasty Turkish cuisine. Lots of grilled specialties. Been there several times and can recommend everything without hesitation. Prices have now increased everywhere. But a great dinner with food and drinks for €20 was very legitimate.

We drove an extra 25 km because they offer grilled food. We were not told on the phone that there were no grilled dishes that day. I didn't think that was right. Otherwise the food was good and the service was very nice.

The food is definitely the best in town. I come here regularly and always leave happy and full. The prices shocked me on my last visit. Maybe the owner doesn't understand it, but 15-20% higher prices all at once is not a small thing. Adana, for example, was previously €16, today €18. For this reason I have to reduce visits. Nevertheless, I still think the restaurant is good, but somewhere you should draw a line when it comes to prices.

The environment is nice, the toilet is clean, but the food is not delicious. There was so much salt that we couldn't taste the kebabs. Even though we were hungry, we couldn't finish the food.

Oh well, All in all, I don't understand the highly praised reviews of up to 31 pictures here at all. These will be relatives and acquaintances. The food was raw and they didn't respond to criticism, on the contrary!! We had been there several times and the meat seemed tough, like rubber And hygiene looks different !

It was my first experience, unfortunately the meat wasn't grilled even though it charged a high price and it wasn't good, I won't come back.

So service is catastrophic so I really noticed that they are greedy for money, they try everywhere to make you have to pay more and they mess up everywhere, it's really chaos for them and especially when it comes to payment. I gave a big bill and I get a few coins back and I claim that it's not me I've given a lot so people watch out there.

We came from Berlin to Ulm on holiday, we took a break at the ember barbecue, the food was really great, there is no such quality in Berlin, it is one of the best meals I have ever eaten, I will come again just for this meal, I would highly recommend it to everyone, thank you very much for making such quality meals, there is no limit to the food varieties, they are really great.

We are from the Böblingen district and were there twice...the food is super tasty...grill plate...prepared quickly. We walked to the restaurant, a good 15 minutes from the town center, pedestrian zone. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't have any seating outside. Parking space available.

If you want to try Turkish food, you should just visit Köz. Really great food

Food was good and delicious. Adana was spicy too hot. Restaurant has a parking area. It was crowded probably because of Ramadan. Stuff was friendly but service could be a bit better but we definitely understand the situation because of Iftar time. I recommend this place.

Don't be fooled by the reviews as you will get dessert if you give good reviews. That's why there are so many reviews. The meat just tastes disgusting. It's chewy and sometimes really fatty. I don't know if everyone who gives reviews here has never eaten good meat. But it seems that way. The Ayran just tastes like milk and comes in an unhygienic tin cup. It is also very cold, so you either have to put on a jacket while eating or freeze. Better go somewhere else to eat. It was recommended to us and we were very disappointed. Once and never again!

We had reserved a table for ourselves to break our fast. When we got there, no one had any idea about our reservation and all the tables were occupied. No one took care of us and unfortunately we just had to go back home and therefore had to finish our fast 30 minutes later break. Disrespectful!!!

This is extremely busy place with delicious food. Tried 3 times and finally got the chance with a free seats.

This is really more of a restaurant than the typical kebab shop. The restaurant has a kind of charcoal grill and there are a lot of different dishes to eat there and take away. As a traditional example, a normal kebab. The price of €9 including cheese is quite expensive, but it is relatively large. It gets filled well and, as a plus point, is significantly hotter than most. The sheep's cheese is made into small pieces, which I always find very practical. Everything is well distributed in the kebab. The different sauces are very tasty and the seasoning is really hot. However, I always find it practical if you first put sauce on the flatbread and then top it, so you also have sauce on the bottom, but these are small things. Despite a lot of sauce, the meat should be a little juicier and more strongly seasoned, in my opinion. The doner plate is huge, but not exactly cheap either. You can get bread if you ask and the food here is also very hot, which I think is good. There is a good relationship between everything.

UPDATE 01/2024 - Never Ever!!! 05/21 very good oriental cuisine. On the waiter's advice, I was served this grilled eggplant plate. Highly recommend the restaurant. However, in winter it is not pleasantly warm in the restaurant and in summer it is too hot and unfortunately there are a lot of flies (insects) around. It would be great if people looked into it. Update 01/24 MAJOR DOWNGRADE Went to the restaurant at dinner time on a Saturday; Conclusion -> It's no longer what it was - this restaurant will definitely not be visited anymore! There is no Turkish tea (cay), there is no baklava, no coffee - however it is listed in the menu. When we asked for a non-chilled soft drink, we were told that there was none. The logical question here is how supplies will come in to fill the refrigerators. Individual customer requests are not taken into account in any way. The service is dismal. Eight of us came to this restaurant, three of the dishes were the same - now here's the thing - all the dishes were portioned differently. One is missing a chicken wing, the other is missing the kebab meat and the other is missing the salad. A very big DOWNGRADE! A renovation is of no use if it tries to serve all restaurant visitors in a small space. The restaurant is far too full, the number of seats/tables definitely needs to be reduced. If the waiter's passage cannot be guaranteed, two people move the chairs forward/back each time something is wrong here!

There were 3 of us, I had a soup and the other two friends of mine had a grilled plate, my soup came without the waiter asking before my friends' food and when I said to the waiter it would be better if all three of us got our food at the same time He replied cheekily with THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.....when I was halfway through my soup, I discovered a hair and when I showed it to the waiter he brought me a new soup with exactly the same amount as I had before the hair So I only ate half of it😂 when I ordered an ayran there were pieces of salad in it (see picture) very unfriendly staff especially a waiter about 45 years old Never again

OH WELL However, I regret to note that the gastronomic experience was not entirely satisfactory. Despite the generous portions, an important culinary finishing touch was missing: neither baklava nor künefe, nor even the traditional Turkish tea, were available. Given the restaurant's reputation and high attendance, this lack undoubtedly proved disappointing. Only after repeated inquiries were we finally informed that desserts were available. Unfortunately, this grievance marred the otherwise pleasant experience in this established restaurant.

I was at the Köz Mangal Restaurant in Ulm at the weekend. Unfortunately the ambience was not good; the men's toilets had no urinals, and the toilet door frames were partially assembled. The toilet room was still in construction site condition and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I ordered a calzone, but unfortunately there was no difference in taste from the Turkish pide. The service wasn't particularly nice either and seemed rather unmotivated. Overall I would give the restaurant 2 out of 6 stars. Ps: card payment not possible
