Kouya Sushi & More in Hannover

The food tastes good but the waiting time is unbearable. You can tell you're overwhelmed because orders often make mistakes or take an extremely long time. I would like to sit down to eat, but I can also chill at home because my time is too valuable. If you go in hungry and leave hungry then something isn't going right in the store. I'm more comfortable with the statement that they're understaffed and that it could take up to a hour than if they make me wait!

For the first time there and very positively surprised. The price-performance ratio is right, and what's more, very friendly staff. However, 2 small tips for the cook: 1. - The food is probably served on a cold plate, and the sauce, especially, is no longer hot. 2. - The Szechuan dishes, chicken and beef, were very different in terms of the amount of vegetables. I'm still happy to give it 5 stars because everything was tasty and sufficient.

I discovered this sushi shop 2 years ago and have been going there regularly ever since. I love the sushi and especially the delicious sushi bowls 🥰. I can highly recommend the restaurant. The employees are all super nice too. Keep it up 😊

The reviews were promising so we ordered 2 hours in advance for 7pm. Despite the lead time, the delivery was anything but on time. 20 minutes after the requested appointment we called the restaurant, where we were turned away very half-heartedly. Standard phrases like high volumes of music and the order was on the way were served to us. However, there was no further information. Another 30 minutes later we tried again by phone and were first forwarded to the answering machine (even with an outdated announcement) and on several further attempts no one answered the phone. The delivery only arrived after a total of 50 minutes late. For that reason alone we will not order here again. The supplier didn't get more than a meaningless "Sorry". The cola, which wasn't ordered but came with it, couldn't save anything. The visual impression of the food was okay and the taste was also good. The bottom line is that it is anything but satisfactory due to the more than unreasonable delivery time, organization and communication of the delivery service. As mentioned, this was our first and last order there.

A great Asian restaurant. Super cozy furnishings, the food was very tasty, the sushi was some of the best I've ever had. The duck with peanut sauce was also really tasty and the portion was really big. Waiting times were absolutely reasonable. The service was also great, our waiter was friendly, funny and always available if we needed anything. Prices are good too, so all in all, an absolute recommendation. If Asian, only here.

I ordered avocado maki in one order, but some with cucumber came instead. When I called the restaurant and asked them to deliver the correct ones to me, the restaurant actually insisted that I return the cucumber makis, and in a rather unfriendly tone. Bottom drawer, will not order from here again.

We wanted to order sushi here and pick it up because we liked the first impression of the website. Unfortunately, we were brushed off in a somewhat unfriendly manner on the phone due to the current workload. That was a bit of a shame. We then ordered sushi somewhere else.

EXCELLENT!! 20/10 can't complain. The food is very tasty, fresh and looks very appetizing too. The best sushi I have eaten, I will definitely eat here more often and recommend it to others.☺️🙏🏽

Rather simple restaurant on site. We usually take things with us or have them delivered. The sushi always tastes fresh and very tasty.

The food is very tasty, that's no question for me. I had been there twice and ordered takeaway there. What I noticed while waiting was very loud techno music both times. Rather annoying when ordering or eating on site. The lamps hanging over the dining tables are completely covered in dust. I don't want to know what some other corners look like. The biggest hit both times came when paying. Each time I received less change than I should have received. When I spoke to the waitress both times the answer was that they had already taken the tip. I don't like that kind of behavior at all, especially when the waitress gets rude when you ask her about it.

The food is delicious and the homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. The restaurant is beautifully modern and the owner is very friendly. The price is also great, we would love to come back!

The atmosphere: The furnishings were simply modern and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy atmosphere in which you could feel comfortable. Service: The service was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful, however there was a slight inconvenience when ordering. I had chosen a dish with tofu and rice, but wanted rice noodles instead of rice. Unfortunately this wasn't possible and I was offered fried noodles instead. Eat: Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The tofu had a strange taste, like it was broken or rotten, and was dripping with grease. This significantly affected the entire court. Even the fried noodles couldn't save the overall impression. Price-performance ratio: Given the quality of the food, I didn't find the value for money satisfactory. The food wasn't worth the price. Conclusion: Overall, my visit to Kouya Sushi& More was disappointing. The atmosphere and service were fine, but the food left a lot to be desired. I hope the restaurant works on the quality of the food in the future.

I had the pleasure of visiting the sushi shop and my experience was simply amazing. This cozy restaurant offers an extensive selection of freshly prepared sushi dishes that will satisfy even the most demanding palates. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the sushi is artfully presented, adding an extra touch to each dish. The staff was extremely friendly, kind and attentive, and the service was prompt. The atmosphere in the store is relaxed and inviting, which made my visit all the more pleasant.

Ordered food and then had nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea Salmonella suspected! I felt like sending the health department there! (We only ate that that day) We liked ordering it, but now we'll definitely never do it again! We complained, but there was no apology or insight. Unfriendly employees!

Unfortunately, that was the last order here, because anyone who treats customers so rudely obviously doesn't need one and certainly doesn't deserve one. We ordered two dishes, one of which was Tofu Special, the main ingredient of which - some readers may have already guessed - is tofu. As a special request we asked for peanut sauce, which was also confirmed, that was not a problem. The food came and unfortunately there was no tofu in the Tofu Special. No problem, mistakes happen. So I called and was told that unfortunately there was no tofu in the Tofu Special. Instead of an apology, all I got was: "I cooked this myself, it has tofu in it. Do you even know what tofu looks like?" I felt like I was being ripped off, which is what I told the person on the phone. After a short discussion he just said: “Did the tofu disappear on the journey or what?” The tone on the other end was very annoyed, rude and completely unprofessional the whole time. The only thing that was clear was: no mistakes happen here, the customer is the one making the mistake! We then communicated via WhatsApp because he wanted to document and send me every step of the process via video message, as if I were accusing him of something. I finally combed through the entire dish and made a "video of evidence" of it, in which of course there was no tofu to be seen, which at least subtly lightened the tone at the other end - apparently he couldn't see any tofu either 🤔 Another dish was then delivered, this time with tofu, but there was not a single word or gesture of apology. The (nice!) driver was even supposed to take the first dish back with him, this was explicitly requested, probably for forensic examination in the special tofu laboratory, which he did very reluctantly and was visibly uncomfortable, which I can completely understand. Less honor than McDonald's, that's quite an achievement. The tone on the phone was completely inappropriate and as a customer I felt like I was being ripped off and treated like a fool or a liar. Mistakes happen, no problem, but if you react to them like that, maybe service isn't the right career field 🙃 The absolute highlight is that people now respond cheekily. I started the conversation with a factual description, was friendly the whole time (even too friendly given the miserable treatment, as my friend rightly pointed out, who overheard everything) and was immediately snapped at and treated like an idiot (screenshot and video are lying). before, the conversation was on loudspeaker), you have to blame yourself for the bad treatment. If I treated my customers like that, I would lose my job. What a laugh track.

I have never experienced such an interaction with any dining establishment. The manners were more like those of a spoiled toddler and my food was nowhere near the quality that I was used to from there. To be honest, I'm still completely shocked by this experience. Unfortunately, the main ingredient was forgotten in my dish the last time I ordered it. When my friend, who also placed the order, called, he was immediately gaslighted. Not only did the unidentified person at the other end personally fry the tofu and add it to the dish, but he seriously asked if we even knew what tofu looked like. We felt ripped off and said so. When we finally gave in after a lot of back and forth, he insisted on sending us every preparation step via WhatsApp (but then it was just a photo), whereupon we sent a video of the search for the lost tofu so that he could finally tell us believes. A new dish was then cooked for us and we were told to give the driver the replacement food that had been delivered previously.

The most delicious sushi in Hanover, It tastes really tasty, I've never had a bad experience and the delivery always runs smoothly. I can only recommend The chicken roll tastes best but the vegetarian options are also sickly good

I love sushi and have been looking for a restaurant near me for a long time where I can spontaneously order, pick up or enjoy it on site. I finally found what I was looking for! I can really recommend Kouya. I have ordered there several times - or picked up various sets to take away for myself and my friends. Every time the sushi was fresh, tasty and very attractively presented. You can also pre-order online, which works great and has always been on time, as it can take longer on weekends as the sushi is freshly prepared. Thank you for this enrichment in Misburg.😻

It took a while until we were served. The staff was friendly and also accommodated any special requests. In the end, everyone enjoyed the food.

Waited for almost two hours, instead of the announced 45 minutes (according to the website) or 60 minutes (order confirmation). Food cold. Sushi was very tasty, hence two stars, pasta dish was bland, soup is fine. We don't need it again...

Das bestellte Essen kam leider seeehr viel später als angegeben und es fehlten dann auch noch zwei Gerichte. Leider war auch das Telefon abgeschaltet, sodass man nicht mal anrufen und nach dem fehlenden Essen fragen konnte.

Das Sushi schmeckt wirklich gut ABER sucht euch doch mal wen, der Sushi zusammenbauen kann. Es kann nicht sein das bei 10 Stück - 8 Stück in der Soja auseinander fallen.

Wir hatten ein Nudelgericht, ein Reisgericht und zwei Sushigerichte. Alles war wirklich lecker und frisch gemacht. Der Service war kurz angebunden aber zügig. Ambiente auch ansprechend. Sehr empfehlenswert!

so ihr lieben ihr habt seit gestern 2 Kunden mehr, habe hier das erste Mal bestellt da ich nur positives über das Essen hörte, also gestern das erste Mal bestellt und abgeholt. das Essen war pünktlich fertig und ich würde freundlich angerufen das ich kein Essen abholen kann. Bestellt haben wir 2 Mal Ente knusprig einmal in Erdnuss Sauce und Einmal zechuan Art. Also abgeholt und probiert 😀😀😀🫶🫶🫶 meine ente mit Erdnuss Sauce war super frisch und lecker genau wie das andere Gericht 🥰 die Portionen waren gross und für mich sogar ausreichend für zwei Tage, das gemüse unter dem Fleisch super lecker und frisch und dazu ist es Preis-Leistungsmäßig super Klasse , macht weiter so, wir werden unsere Kunden auch zu euch schicken 🫶

Mein absolutes Lieblings Sushirestaurant in Hannover! Der Service ist super und dauert auch nicht zu lang. Das Essen schmeckt sooooo gut und die Preise dafür sind echt total fair. Ich komme hier immer wieder gerne hin und probiere mich durch alles durch. Jedem weiter zu empfehlen! Meine Empfehlung: die Kouya-Wings sind göttlich!

Bedauerlicherweise war das Sushi (falscher Reis und zu lange gekocht) sowie die Misosuppe (schmeckte zu sehr nach der Misopaste) nicht so gut. Alles war nett und freundlich, jedoch hat es einige Zeit gedauert bis man zu uns kam.

Ich habe in meinem Leben bereits viel Sushi gegessen, insbesondere während meiner Zeit in Hamburg. Bei unserem telefonischen Bestellvorgang erhielten wir schnell unsere Maki Rolls, das Tuna-Sake Set und das Maximum Tempura, darunter auch das Futo Thunfisch Tempura. Der Lachs und Thunfisch des Sushis waren sehr lecker und großzügig portioniert. Das Tempura war nicht mit Mayonnaise, wie es in anderen Restaurants oft der Fall ist, sondern bestand aus hochwertigen Zutaten. Ich war überrascht, so gutes Sushi direkt vor meiner Haustür zu finden - und das sogar noch um 15 Uhr an einem Sonntag. Die Miso-Suppe war auch sehr lecker und hat unser Essen perfekt ergänzt. Das hat dazu beigetragen, dass Hannover-Misburg für mich noch lebenswerter geworden ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder bestellen und auch vorbeikommen. PS: Es stellte sich heraus, dass es auch sehr leckere Poké Bowls gibt!

Meine Frau und ich haben gestern Abend das erste Mal dort gegessen, ansonsten immer nur bestellt und zu Hause gegessen. Die Speisen waren immer top. Es war gestern aber eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung, dort vor Ort zu essen. Die Speisen waren absolut lecker. Die Bedienung sehr höflich und aufmerksam, eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir werden wiederkommen. Macht weiter so!!!
