Lovingly furnished restaurant, there is a lot to discover there. Very nice and relaxed staff. The menu is not that extensive, but the food was extremely tasty and there were additional dishes outside of the regular menu. You notice the good ingredients, the freshness and the good craftsmanship. Prices are a bit high but quite reasonable for the quality. We really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back soon!

We had reserved, which is definitely a good idea, even during the week! Unfortunately there was no daily recommendation on a Thursday, so the clear menu remained. The choice fell on roulade with mashed potatoes, the roulade was really very tender and tasted very good, unfortunately the mashed potatoes had already cooled down a bit, and so had the vegetables. To compensate, there were wonderful wines. The atmosphere and service is absolutely good and we would love to come back!

Very tasty dishes with high quality and well prepared

The service is very nice and very accommodating! We felt very taken care of by the nice man :) We were there on Valentine's Day and received both a final cake and two small rum balls when we said goodbye to the nice bartender, who said that the cake was fantastic! The prices are completely justified because the food was fantastic. The schnitzel was juicy, the fried potatoes seasoned enough, the salad was fresh and the portions were large. Overall a great recommendation, everything is right and ESPECIALLY the service!

Delicious. Small and fine. Very very nice staff. Anyone who has been here once will definitely come back and will be happy to recommend it. Very easy to reach by public transport. A little more difficult with a car due to the parking situation. But not impossible. ;)

We had our Christmas party there yesterday. A very attentive and friendly team accompanied us throughout the evening, the lovingly designed rooms and the table decorations were the icing on the cake and the tasty food made the evening perfect. Great, even larger groups (17) are provided with food at the same time. The ox cheeks I had were amazing. The beef tagliata... also indescribable. We'll be back. Many thanks to the super nice team.

I was in Hanover for two days on business. This restaurant was recommended to me by both the client and the hotel. I was thrilled. Small, cute, very lovingly designed restaurant, where there is also counter service. I like that and it makes the whole thing very lively. Small but very nice menu. German cuisine with a French touch. Excellent service. Various beers on tap. Good selection of wines, both white and red. Ferry and kitchen very reasonable prices. The taste is absolutely excellent. I can highly recommend it with a clear conscience.

We loved going to the small museum for many years. It's a shame that the tried and tested isn't retained. Since the menu was changed and apparently the chef(s) changed too, it's not comparable.

If you want to see how alligators stay "forever young", go to the small museum in Linden, which is obviously young at heart. Whether it was “Uncle Rudi” back then or the current team now. In a cozy atmosphere, characterized by a rustic, nostalgic environment, an extremely friendly team serves what makes you happy, very happy. Ours was the “Batamog,” which we didn’t know by that term; Nothing more will be revealed, try it out for yourself... Conclusion: After many years, back in a familiar place, but one that is clearly different. We'll be back....!

Oh. Wow. The Wagyu beef roulade. My benchmark is my mother-in-law's. And it can't be beaten. They did it here. Gentlemen. That was good. Together with the delicious Bordeaux, it was a visit that belongs in the diary. Also because of the really friendly and great service.

Good food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately the owner changed some time ago and the menu was reduced even further and made a little more refined. The friendly service is now completely over the top: you are constantly being harassed to reorder something. As soon as a glass has been emptied, you will be asked every 5 minutes by both service employees whether everything is still okay here. One person at our table ordered a nightcap and the others didn't, whereupon they said, "It's not good to drink alone," and asked whether they wanted to order a schnapps as well. This is really necessary. The waiter is also aloof (he regularly props himself with one hand on the chair of the guest he is speaking to) and incredibly loud. Guests are greeted as if the restaurant were a party… Every now and then the music is turned up, but no one notices when it's the radio and some commercials are playing. A long-standing Doppelkopf group of friends were told that everyone really had to eat something, otherwise they would no longer be welcome here. Two or three out of five people always ordered food. On a weekday. That's why many friends don't like going there anymore. Still a good rating because the cuisine is still good. But the service really needs to be trained better. He thinks he's somehow the center of attention. Not the guest. Unfortunately, it sucks.

Friendly and attentive service who often ask if there is anything left to be desired. Attractive atmosphere with some old utensils from 30-40 years ago (crocodile hanging under the ceiling). The toilet bowl, however, is no longer... ;0) Instead, other originals were hung on the side walls and in the windows, all of which are more reminiscent of a small robbers' den or trading post. But just as likeable as the wooden tables and corresponding chairs, which are reminiscent of the old university pubs and pints. The quality of the food is better than in a normal pub. The prices, on the other hand, are sometimes significantly higher than the “student rate”. For me, for example: B. the breaded schnitzel with fried potatoes + small. Salad at €17.50 was too expensive. It tasted good and was filling too. The aftertaste of higher prices here and in general remains.

Hello, the little museum is really a cute little restaurant in Linden..very nice atmosphere and friendly staff..The food was very tasty and the eye also eats...The only thing we can all think of would be simple cushions for the chairs Because if you sit on it for a long time it gets a bit hard.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the excellent schnitzel. The food here was extremely tasty, the young man who served us was very personable and authentic. My theory that where care is placed on flowers, everything else is also excellent has been absolutely confirmed. When we are in Hanover, we would like to come back.

We were there for the first time yesterday and were very excited. Super delicious food (even for me as a vegetarian there was enough choice) and an incredibly friendly staff! We'd love to come back :-)

Ich glaube ein Geheimtipp ist das kleine Museum schon lange nicht mehr - nicht umsonst. Das Essen und der Service sind hier echt immer wieder erstklassig. Immer wechselnde Tagesgerichte, eine ausgezeichnete Auswahl an passenden Weinen, ... Kurz gesagt: Wer hier noch nicht war sollte das schleunigst ändern!

Urig und sehr gemütlich. Es gab Einiges zum Ansehen! Die Beratung zum Essen war umfassend und freundlich. Auch die Kinder haben sich wohlgefühlt und sehr gerne gegessen.

Service war eigentlich sehr angenehm......Wartezeit an einem Dienstag Abend mit Tischreservierung für 2 Hauptgerichte Rinderroularde und Rumpsteak für jeweils ca 26 Euro mit 1 Stunde 20 Minuten einfach zu lang Vorspeise Kartoffelsuppe wurde nach 30 Minuten geliefert.....wenn man danach noch ins Apollo Kino möchte ist das eher Blöd.....Essen war gut...leider mussten wir unser Essen runter schlingen da wir rechtzeitig im Apollo Kino sein wollten......eine wirkliche Entschuldigung gab es nicht.....auch kein Entgegenkommen andererseits.......Schade.....Ich arbeite selbst in der Gastronomie und weiss dass man in solchen Situationen anders reagieren sollte bzw. muss.......

Dienstag Abend spontan vorbei geschaut. Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen. Ganz liebe Bedienung und im Lokal gibt es richtig viel zu gucken... Ach ja, Getränke und Essen Tip top!!!

Früher war das unser Stammlokal, mittlerweile ist leider alles merklich schlechter und gleichzeitig teurer geworden - die Würze hat ihren Pfiff verloren, die Bratkartoffeln sind nicht mehr knusprig, das Dressing auf dem Salat ist wässriger, die Schnitzelpanade schmeckt nach nichts. Schade, sehr schade, vor allem für die Preise.

Eine gemüdlich freundliche Atmosphäre, sehr gute bezahlbare Küche, immer mal wieder,nur Parkplätze sind rar.

Hannover-Linden, legendärer Stadtteil wie auch diese urwüchsige Kneipe. Futtern wie bei Muttern und mit historischem Ambiente stemmt sich dieser Laden gegen die schleichende Gentrifizierung.
