This is a shining light in Hanover. Not a fake franchise or themed restaurant but a real authentic Argentinian bar and restaurant. Eugene the Argentinian owner and manager is a great character who brings so much joy and atmosphere to the place. It's now my "default go to' venue in Hanover. Don't miss this Gem when in town

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day at Bodega! The Valentine's Day menu of empanadas was delicious and the live music was beautiful. Just a lovely evening!

We have been guests here several times. The service was always outstanding. Today on Valentine's Day, Luigi's service was perfect, a super funny and charming guy but the whole team is also generally lovely. We really enjoy coming here - 100% recommendation

The atmosphere here is so intensely Argentine that I almost wanted to tango, even though I can't master a single step! If you've always been looking for the perfect place where taste explosions and warm service come together, then your mission ends here and now: Bodega Argentina is the undisputed crown of culinary art. The empanadas are so crispy it's like they've just danced in the oven with a choir of angels, the meat has a tenderness that makes even butter jealous, and the sauces taste like they were made from the tears of happy unicorns. And now to Luigi - this eccentric service genius with the charm of a Hollywood star and the care of a loving grandmother. He reads your every wish from your lips even before you know that you even have that wish. His radiant smile has the power to transform even the grayest day into fireworks of good mood. Not only does he know the menu by heart, he literally seems to be friends with every ingredient. With a cheeky wink, he recommends exactly the dish you've always needed without knowing it - and he's spot on every time! I don't just give Bodega Argentina five stars, but at least five suns, four galaxies and a whole shooting star show to boot. It's impossible not to be overwhelmed by feelings of incredible happiness here. And if I'm being honest, I'd love to throw on a blanket and snuggle up in a corner and stay forever. Great find! Excellent empanadas! And for dessert we had an alfajor and an empanada filled with dulce de leche that were spectacular! We will return without a doubt!!

Great! The team is attentive, friendly and funny. The food and especially the chimichurri was delicious. And then there was karaoke. Completely successful.

I was pleasantly surprised by the nice woman at the counter and the large selection of delicious empanadas on display. Although they are not homemade, they are freshly brushed with egg yolk and baked. This is quick and there are even changing surprise varieties. The empanada are not small either, but are worth their price. Addendum: I was here again and this time I didn't like the empanadas. All empanadas that had a cheese filling tasted almost exclusively like that or like a block of cheese. The others were again very good - just like my Pisco Sour. Whereas the supposedly best espresso martini in Hanover was not good. It hardly tasted like alcohol but unfortunately just like watered down sweetened coffee. Addendum: Today it was very tasty again and the dough is nice and light and at the same time tender, firm and crispy. There was a currywurst special which was great and this time we also tried desserts. The first three selections (Dulce de leche, Dulce de Batata chocolate rum, and the Chocolate Madagascar (really just chocolate from Madagascar) are sweet filled empanadas. They were pretty tasty too. The Alfajores is a firmer cookie with caramel and was Also good. There was also apple pie and a brownie in the display.

The dinner was excellent, the atmosphere, the wine, the quality of the meat and the empanadas. The service and friendliness of the owners (who were looked after by the owner) were a luxury. I recommend it to anyone looking for good Argentinian meat, excellent wines and a relaxed but professional atmosphere.

I can only recommend Bodega Argentina to you! The empanadas are really tasty and there is a large selection of fillings to suit every taste. The lunch menu and the grande menu offer great value for money with fresh salads and several empanadas. The after-work menu is perfect for a relaxed evening with friends as it includes wine and a large portion of food. There is also a great selection of drinks, from cocktails to wines. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch. The service is friendly, attentive and quick, and every order comes with a delicious selection of dips. The sweet empanadas for dessert are particularly recommended – the perfect end to a great meal!

We wanted to eat a steak, but hadn't realized that you have to reserve a few days in advance for grilled meat. But in any case there was an excellent hamburger and some very good enpanadas with lots of different fillings. Very nice staff

In Hannover for work and stopped here for dinner. Holy cow these might be the best empanadas I’ve ever had. Ate the pollo, spicy carne, chorizo, pulled pork and jamon y queso. Will return tomorrow 👍👍

Really a nice interesting experience in point eating. If you're looking for something new and different, you've come to the right place. The staff, especially Luigi, is super nice and very funny. So far we haven't been able to try all of the empanadas (unfortunately), but the many varieties offer something for every taste and are incredibly tasty 😋! The dips are also spicy to spicy, so everyone will find what they are looking for. Gladly again soon 😀 Thanks so much!

There were two of us there - in addition to two cocktails during happy hour, we also had the empanadas platter (12 pieces for €40), each of which was full to the brim and served hot. In advance you were given a small piece of paper on which you could choose between the different empanadas - these were also briefly explained by the service person and they were also available to us if we had any questions. Except that the Mai Tai could have had a shot more of the alcohol 😜 - we have nothing to complain about. We are happy to recommend the location and will definitely come back.

Wir haben einen wundervollen Abend in der Bodega gehabt! Die Bedienung ist extrem herzlich, so wie man es heute leider nicht mehr oft findet. Die Empanadas waren extrem lecker! Auch für mich als Vegetarierin waren ausreichend Auswahlmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Auch die Cocktails und Weine waren gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! Super und weiter so!

I love this restaurant, it's like my sixth home.

We held a wine tasting as part of a bachelorette party at the bodega and really enjoyed the warm, relaxed atmosphere. The planned 2.5 hours quickly turned into 4.5, not least thanks to live music, the spontaneous opportunity for the bride to sing karaoke and a small bachata dance course :)
