Great Vietnamese - for us the best in Berlin, even if the location wasn't that great.

We’ve been coming here for years, the quality-portion-price has consistently been great. It’s such a reliable place where you can count on good food and fantastic service. And they’re dog friendly!

Someone here cooks with a lot of care, putting it among Berlin's better Vietnamese restaurants. Good music, friendly staff, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

I can't imagine eating Asian anywhere else. Favorite restaurant ❤️

LIFE. CHANGING. TOFU. SALAD. I just had the most incredible tofu salad at Kotti Dang in Berlin, and I’m still reeling from the flavor explosion! The combination of textures and tastes was absolute perfection. I’ve never had tofu that melted in my mouth like that before. If you’re a tofu lover or just looking for a game-changing dish, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND GET TO KOTTI DANG NOW. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

I’m not Vietnamese but I’ve had so much Vietnamese food in Berlin, and I can tell you this is the one to which I said “wow” after the first bite!!! :) suppppper delicious and the owner is also super sweet....familiar atmosphere in the restaurant ❤️ and that was just sooo pleasant and authentically Asian 🤗😬Love it!!! have to go back soon. Must!!!!

We picked up food here for the first time during the lockdown and I have to say, you rarely have such well-prepared take-away dishes as here. It was super tasty too! Just keep in mind that if you take Pho with you, it will be a little difficult to eat outside. But very generous portions for home use and the delicate greens are specially packaged... Absolutely brilliant food, I had the beef with salad where I later discovered that the salad and herbs came from our own garden!!! WOW!!! The evening ended with some very special homemade schnapps between my date, me and the owner - an unforgettable evening 🙏🏻

I come from Hamburg and always look forward to Berlin with its various restaurants, but I have never been treated as hospitably as at Kotti Dang. The owner is a very friendly person.

Food is good but the restaurant is understaffed so expect long waiting time

Unfortunately we waited over an hour and 20 mins for our food (simple things like pho which should not take so long). We reminded them several times - think they forgot about us! Also, they charged 1 euro more for spiciness, which they did not say on the menu.

Think this place lives up to its old merits in its Google rating. Thought the food was tasteless and really dull, no finesse or care. The vegan spring rolls were pretty disgusting to be honest, just floury.

I came to this store spontaneously. Absolute recommendation. Had an egg starter and a small soup which were 10/10. Amazingly fresh and super tasty. Fried rice and mango salad were also great. We also had drinks that left nothing to be desired. The Hugo was not at all sweet but with lots of mint and deliciously fresh

Good vegan pho. The broth wasn't necessarily a miracle of flavor, but at least it was very solid. What's really great are the many fresh herbs and other ingredients you can season yourself (something that has unfortunately become relatively rare in recent years). The large amount of tofu, on the other hand, doesn't add anything in terms of taste or anything else - in my opinion, there are much better options here. The interior is colorful and something different than what is currently common in similar locations. The service is routine and fast. Unfortunately cash only. Still worth a recommendation for me.

The waiter's robotic "nein" felt dismissive, especially when I needed water after accidentally consuming hot chili. A restaurant should prioritize customer comfort over profit-driven policies. This practice, unfortunately observed in some other Berlin establishments, is in dire need of reconsideration. It detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Service is catastrophic (you are simply pushed from table to table even though the whole shop is empty, you are not allowed to have 2 napkins, the techno music is so loud that you can't have a conversation), card payment is not allowed (why?!), toilets smell so bad Bad right up to the front of the seat, unfriendly with every question, menus are laminated A3 posters that are falling apart! So the atmosphere really isn't nice. Oh well, the food was good but not for the price of everything around it! Really bad.

Really good Vietnamese food. The service is fast and friendly. There are also many vegetarian and vegan dishes on the list. No card payment option, but there is an ATM outside the door.

We ordered curry with crispy duck, Nem Chien, and Xien Lac. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing as the dishes lacked flavor and did not meet our expectations. Particularly disappointing was the crispy duck - the quality was poor, leaving us unsatisfied. Regrettably, I feel that our money was wasted on this meal, and I do not recommend this place.

A reasonable price and authentic vietnam food taste. The both beef dishes is tender, and perfect cook. The vegetable and prawn summer roll is very fresh.

Their Pho is addictively amazing. A giant bowl of proper Vietnamese goodness you want to drown yourself in, including fresh herbs and everything. Loved every slurp of it. However, do yourself a favor and try to go there during off-peak times since this place tends to get crazily packed (especially) on weekends’ evenings (for a reason, after all).

The KottiDang is a very good Vietnamese restaurant with excellent food, a very good price-performance ratio and we were served very friendly and personally. Definitely coming back because it was really unique for us. So go ahead if you feel like trying this kitchen!

Wenn ihr authentisch und wirklich lecker vietnamesische Küche genießen wollt,seid ihr hier richtig. Was uns am meisten überzeugt hat, ist doch die große Auswahl,kleiner Preis und Größe Portionen. Trotzdem bleibt alles Übersichtlich und man kann anhand der Karte alles verstehen,was sich in den Gerichten befindet. Und ich betone nochmal, dass die Portionen reichlich sind und man hier wirklich günstig essen kann für deutsche Verhältnisse. Probiert es aus und werft auch einen Blick auf die wechselnden Tagesgerichte ( sind schon einige!).

Didn't like the vegetarian dish. The deep fried seitan and the dish in general was tasteless. Overpriced. Asked for a glass of tap water, we get refused. I will not go to this place again...

Das vietnamesische Restaurant hat bei mir einen starken Eindruck hinterlassen, dank der entspannten und freundlichen Atmosphäre. Die vielfältige Speisekarte präsentiert die vietnamesischen Spezialitäten auf raffinierte Weise, was ein einzigartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis schafft. Insbesondere der Service der Mitarbeiter ist engagiert und professionell. Der gemütliche Raum eignet sich gut für Familientreffen oder wichtige Feierlichkeiten. Nice place to have Vietnamese food. We went there for dinner and had good food. Service was great too. They don't accept cards however, there is an ATM just outside the restaurant.

Absolute Katastrophe. Wie schon viele kommentiert haben, schließe ich mich an: Der Service ist wirklich das schlechteste, was es in Berlin gibt. Obwohl wir sehr freundlich waren ganze Zeit, wurden wir komplett respektlos behandelt. Und das Restaurant war so gut wie leer. D.h. das es nicht am Stress gelegen hat. Der Kellner chillt regelrecht und macht einen blöd an, wenn man während seiner aktiven Arbeitszeit freundlich eine Bestellung aufgeben möchte. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Also kein Service vorhanden. Im Gegenteil: Aggressive Kellner. Zum Essen: Total fad und praktisch kein Fleisch in den Gerichten. Beispiel: Wir hatten ein Gericht mit Rindfleisch bestellt und hatten sage und schreibe zwei kleine Streifen im ganzen Essen. Es war lächerlich und ein Witz. Nie wieder.

Authentisches , umfangreiches vietnamesisches Essen, sag ich als sehr kulturgebundener Vietnamese. Service sehr freundlich entgegenkommend und aufmerksam. Wurde nach dem Essen sogar noch auf ein Getränk einladen :)

Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich hier gegessen und fand es super! Große Portionen für einen guten Preis! Ich kann viel essen, aber selbst für mich es zu viel 😅. Das Ambiente war, wie ich mir ein modernes und angesagtes Essenslokal in Vietnam vorstelle, samt der Musik mit ordentlichem Bass (war aber auch Samstagabend 😬). Einen Besuch kann ich nur empfehlen!
