Kotti Dang in Berlin

Es sólo dinero en efectivo y mi amigo y yo tuvimos suficiente para los platos. Pedimos agua del grifo y dijeron que NO. También eran un poco groseros. La comida es como cualquier otro vietnamita en la ciudad, así que elegiremos otro la próxima vez. En algunos países está prohibido negar el agua desde la guerra. Vietnam y Alemania, ambos pasaron por guerras, pero veo que aprendieron muy poco.

Everything was very tasty, I come very often :) The broth for pho bo is so clear and aromatic and the quality of beef is so good! Apart from pho, my favorite is papaya salad, they always use fresh papaya :)

The food tastes acceptable, but, like many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin, it is far from authentic. The menu includes dishes like Teriyaki (Japanese) and a papaya salad that is much more closer to the Thai style than Vietnamese. Also, they do not provide tap water, which I find unreasonable.

+) went there again this month, quality dropped quite much. ordered the exact same meal as before, but thinner and tougher meat in pho, the amount of meat and base veggie/greens they give also reduced, and they missed the order details this time, so be extra careful if you have any allergies/dietary preferences. this would be my last visit unfortunately. super nice pho!! definitely coming back for more. cash only, card payment not accepted

I ate a chicken salad and had diarrhea after eating it. Raw food is not clean.

Visited for the first time today and was disappointed by the vegan pho soup. It didn’t have taste or balance. Sour water with noodles. I couldn’t eat it. The service didn’t seem interested in receiving feedback so we asked to pack the soup for take away so we could fix it at home. On top of that the music played in the place was loud and annoying. Radio pop hits didn’t create an atmosphere that would make us come back.

Unfortunately disappointing – not a second time The store was empty, but the service was absolutely not attentive. I wanted to order something, the waiter looked at me and just kept walking - without a word. Something like that doesn't work at all. The food wasn't a highlight either - the rice in particular was totally soggy. I didn't eat the food because it was simply unappetizing, but I still paid full price. No questions asked if everything was OK - nothing. What made the whole thing even more awkward: two waiters stood together, looked over at us and laughed. We were two quiet, normal women - there was absolutely no reason to make fun of us. This behavior was just disrespectful and unprofessional. I definitely won't go there again.

The classical pho just tasted a bit like meat, but mainly watery and quite salty. I wanted to do a reclamation, but a group of male waiters pressured me to pay after taking the full soup away. They did not call the manger as I requested. I refused to pay, what I did not eat. They called me stupid and wanted me to call the police. It didn’t make a lot of sense but I wanted to know the police opinion. They told me to just leave. I left.

It has very delicious food, I ate shrimp noodles in a nice atmosphere, it was delicious, you have to pay with cash, they do not accept credit cards.

The pho is completely mediocre. It has no flavour. The menu claiming "rich broth" is completely false

Unfortunately my visit to Kotti Dang was a disappointment. The food was very bland and hardly seasoned - I would have expected much more taste for an Asian restaurant. In addition, the prices were simply too high. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. I therefore cannot recommend the restaurant. Too bad!

The portions ARE CRAZY BIG!! I should’ve not take those appetizers, even though they were really good. I would not recommend you to order egg if you don’t like hard boiled eggs, the sauce with it is like a small sweet and sour soup with coconut milk. The fried seitan was really tasty and crunchy! I enjoyed my noodles with tofu, my partner had rice with tofu, both dishes were quite similar, but I like noodles more.

I went with a friend and ordered pho and bò xào dứa. The second dish was good, and there was nothing wrong with it. However, the pho was basically just boiled beef in plain water—no rich broth, no flavor and almost having a stinky taste. I’ve had so many pho’s and this was not one. The worst part was when I told the waiters about it. They were dismissive and unwilling to listen or show any respect for my feedback. Instead of addressing my concern, one of them simply handed me a rules sheet stating that once you place an order, you are responsible for it, and any associated expenses must be paid. So, they serve food that doesn’t match the menu description, get upset when customers complain, and make them pay regardless of the quality. Disappointing food and poor customer service.

Not sure where to start from, the plave doesn't serve tap water, which is weird, especially in Germany! The waiter wasn't patient when criticized about the pho, which was literally hot water with meat. The meat was stinky and smelled bad with no spices. So far, it has been the worst experience in Berlin. The workers were not helpful and were like pay pay, which didn't make sense because WE WANTED TO CHANGE IT. Or get it off the bill. Because we didn't even eat it. Definitely dont recommend this terrible experience, and I hope they get better in serving. Unbelievable.

I love this store! The food is SOOO good, unbelievable. Very fresh, very special taste and not so run of the mill. The staff is always quick and friendly. The price is unbeatable anyway.

This was my third time dining at Kottidang, and I continue to love everything about this place! The vibe is fantastic, the service is quick and cheerful, and the meals are always absolutely delicious. This time, we started with appetizers: steamed prawn wontons and crunchy fried wontons with chicken and prawns—both were bursting with flavor. For mains, we had the crispy duck with peanut sauce and spicy beef noodles, paired with their delicious coconut lemonade with shredded coconut. Every dish was so good that we practically licked our plates clean! The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and portions you get. I can’t recommend Kottidang enough, and we’ll definitely be back again soon!

Disappointing. Food all around mediocre especially for the price. I also ordered summer rolls, which never arrived and were still billed for (only noticed when I got home because the receipt came after payment). When asked, the starters still came separately and not together with the main course. Not satisfied at all

The food was mediocre. The menu indicates that some items may have a long wait time which was much appreciated as I was in a hurry. The food came fast but it tasted really bland. Even adding hot sauce did not help make the dish more appealing.

The food was delicious and the portions very generous. The staff was lovely and very prompt. The decoration was very original, but it looks very different from the pictures here, as there’s basically no space between tables and it’s very packed.

Found the food to be extremely oily/fat and bla.

Attention, cash payment only! Not as elegant as it looks from the pictures. More of a student shed vibe. Totally ok, but not fancy. But the food was delicious. Mango salad, mini veggie spring rolls. Pho soup was good and most importantly it was a very large portion. But the beef wasn't as tender as hoped. I wouldn't order it again, I'd rather just order it with vegetables.

I entered the store hungry and went out again. I had an indefinable hard stone in my extremely bland, tasteless, vegetarian glass noodle soup, into which a few pieces of vegetables were carelessly thrown. Let's call it water with vegetables. I let her go back but got no apology. The person sitting next to me was stung by a wasp in the store in October and when we asked for ice to cool, an ice cube was placed on our palm, otherwise there was no other service worth mentioning. There are lots of good restaurants in Berlin. This is not one of them.

The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. They made a mistake with my order, and when I politely asked for it to be corrected, the waiter responded in an extremely rude and aggressive manner, even arguing with me. When my plate was finally brought back, the dish was correct, but it was so overly spiced that it was inedible. I had tried the original dish, and it wasn’t nearly as spicy, so it felt deliberate. I have a sensitive colon and cannot tolerate that level of spice. This was unacceptable and ruined the entire experience.

Someone here cooks with great care, putting it among Berlin's better Vietnamese restaurants. Good music, friendly staff, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

We happened to walk past the restaurant and were totally surprised. The food was very tasty and the drinks were also very good. The prices were fair and the staff was more than friendly. I can highly recommend the yellow curry. We'd love to come back!

The combination of textures and tastes was absolute perfection. I’ve never had tofu that melted in my mouth like that before. If you’re a tofu lover or just looking for a game-changing dish, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND GET TO KOTTI DANG NOW. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Just keep in mind that if you take Pho with you, it will be a little difficult to eat outside. But very generous portions for home use and the delicate greens are specially packaged... I come from Hamburg and always look forward to Berlin with its various restaurants, but I have never been treated as hospitably as at Kotti Dang. The owner is a very friendly person.

Absolutely brilliant food, I had the beef with salad where I later discovered that the salad and herbs came from our own garden!!! WOW!!! The evening ended with some very special homemade schnapps between my date, me and the owner - an unforgettable evening 🙏🏻

Food is good but the restaurant is understaffed so expect long waiting time

Unfortunately we waited over an hour and 20 mins for our food (simple things like pho which should not take so long). We reminded them several times - think they forgot about us! Also, they charged 1 euro more for spiciness, which they did not say on the menu.
