Kosibar in Taufkirchen (Vils)

Large selection of dishes. The spare ribs were delicious. The service and the manager were very friendly. We'll be back.

Sehr geschmackvoll alles, war am Sonntag den 13.01.2013, um 20._15 Uhr auf den Sender vox, díe Küchechefs zu sehen gewesen!

The two innkeepers run the restaurant with complete passion and you can tell this with every sip that is served and with every bite that tantalizes the taste buds. Starting with the amuse gueule and ending with the dessert. All star cuisine. For me, Alois Forster is one of the best chefs in southern Germany. The wines are a delight. Everything is regional and super fresh. By the way, if you're looking for cheap schnitzel and fries here, you're in the wrong place.

Surprisingly good pizzas to take away. Perhaps the best we've had in Taufkirchen so far.

Good portions at reasonable prices. The loin of roast beef with onions was perfectly cooked. The onions...were unfortunately not well done; they were mushy, as we say here in Bavaria. The fried potatoes were nicely cooked but unfortunately not seasoned, or very sparingly seasoned—like the other three dishes at the table. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, but completely overwhelmed with the number of guests inside and outside. Therefore, the wait was very long. It's a shame, because it's truly beautiful there—even for children.
