March 29, 2025 Was invited to dinner today. I ate the daily menu today. I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. Sweet potato fries with schnitzel filled with pear gorgonzola...thank you. Celebrated my 61st today too. It was again totally delicious and it's just a very cozy atmosphere. Thank you very much for a new and pleasant evening. Celebrated my 60th today 👍 it was amazing, really great service and even though the restaurant was full we got our food and the drinks didn't stop there either. Thank you very much.....🥂

The 20€ Burger has only two small slices of meat, the cheese was dry and the service crazy unfriendly. You have a view to the bridge, but you can also sit outside the beer garden and bring your own. This place is not worth to go.

Ate very well on site. There are great dishes, from home-style sauerbraten, roulades to pulled venison burgers. Very well prepared and refined. There are delicious beers, different types. Portions are very large. Price i. O.

I celebrated my 80th birthday and had lovely hours in the grain garden, a success. Thanks to the entire friendly team.

Service in outdoor sales overloaded and unfriendly. Unfortunately, the wine glass was only 90 percent full and that at a hefty price. The wine was tasty and the sun in the beer garden made up for it.

After a funeral service we arrived cold and way too early. But thanks to the team, we were able to take a seat sooner and pass the time until then with a mulled wine or punch. We were well looked after and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back, but then for a different occasion. Thanks so much.

New Year's Eve in the Körnergarten... the location on the Elbe and the view of a city full of fireworks are great. This year's menu was a bit off, but aside from the minor differences, it was a good job. The service is on point and friendly and always interested in the customer, even in crisis mode. I was here for lunch with a hiking group. The waiter was great, remembered all the 13 of us orders and made funny sayings along the way. The food (I had liver) was excellent and prepared with love. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. Thanks to the whole team. Keep it up.

Friendly service The roulade tasted bland and when I said it wasn't to my taste and was okay, they just said, "It was made the house style". In my opinion, the food came too quickly for roulades and it wasn't particularly pleasant due to the loud company.

The grain garden was the venue for my daughter's birthday party ....... with ox cheeks ...... the HAMMER!!!!! And there is also MEGA SAUREBRATEN 🥰 ....and a huge compliment to the service too. Very very good.

The food is cold. If you let it go back you get the answer that the food can't be warmer.

Yesterday we had our 25th class reunion in the Körnergarten and what can I say, it was really, really nice. The ambience is a dream, the service is attentive, hard-working and incredibly nice. The food was fantastic, I had a veal schnitzel which tasted great. I can't say anything negative, only that unfortunately I had to leave far too early because I no longer had a voice, but really thumbs up and many thanks to the team for the lovely evening. Beautiful, cozy restaurant with friendly service. Roulade with dumplings not recommended. The dumplings were too salty, the meat of the roulades was hard (we had a Christmas party yesterday). It's a shame, I was looking forward to the roulades

The Körnergarten has a prime location, directly on the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. I just sat outside and drank coffee. But I thought it was wonderful in the November afternoon sun☕. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. When my companion wanted to get a cappuccino and had to wait a bit (because the milk was all out), he got the cappuccino for free 😉. Super friendly and professional. I also found out about the New Year's Eve event from the gentleman at the cash desk and spontaneously decided to buy 2 tickets. So there are still tickets available, maybe someone would like to celebrate New Year's Eve here. With a DJ, fireworks and super friendly Körnergarten employees. 🥳

Nice restaurant in a special location with committed and friendly service staff. Unfortunately the food, for me the pulled venison burger, was a complete disappointment. After an hour of waiting, a carelessly prepared, soggy and almost cold dish was served. If you can't make a burger, you shouldn't put it on the menu.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the banks of the Elbe. My husband ate schnitzel with cheese and tomato gratin. I had liver with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately I have to deduct one point because the liver was a bit dry but otherwise everything was perfect the service was excellent. 👍

The changing menu is always interesting - with the disadvantage that delicious dishes sometimes disappear from the menu. This time I was surprised with chicken roulades. Great dishes, small, fine menu. Daily menu very nicely presented. Very tasty lemonade variations. A fruit sundae for dessert. Highly recommended, eating in the beer garden with a view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder Reservation is an advantage. Very friendly service

The grain garden is beautifully located and nicely furnished. The service tried hard but seemed stressed. People smoked on the terrace, which has a roof and side walls, which caused considerable nuisance. My sundae consisted of industrial ice cream and canned whipped cream, unfortunately not at all tasty.

Yesterday we had lunch in the grain garden. The menu is small but nice and everyone will find something. The food was very tasty and prepared with great attention to detail. Our service was also very nice and special requests were no problem. We left completely satisfied and it certainly wasn't the last time we were here.

Luckily, we were able to get a table outside during a spontaneous visit. The food was good and the service outstanding. Many people can learn a lesson from the host's child-friendliness. Gladly again.

I have known the grain garden for a long time; we have often been there with colleagues. Yesterday for a birthday the service was nice and friendly. My meal, a schnitzel, a disaster. I also asked if it was freshly made. Totally non-existent. A typical frit schnitzel, 2 mm of meat, 4 mm of breading in total, as firm as the sole of a shoe and hard to cut. The price of 21 euros did the rest. I asked myself, 'do they cook like this at home?' It was a big disappointment the food. I was probably there for the last time. You have probably lost the measure of things. It's a shame, I wasn't the only one who was disappointed with our group.

The location is the highlight here. Service is friendly, but strangely divided. 2 people are scratching their feet inside while 1 employee is running from A to B outside. Food also arrived after almost 40 minutes and was also cold. It's a shame... lots of potential for improvement.

A short waiting time turned into over an hour, the food itself wasn't that great either & for over 20 € it should be tasty, beer prices for n' wheat aren't cheap either 😉.

Place on the banks of the Elba. We had dinner outside on the terrace and the wait was a bit long for the many people present. The food is good and the staff was also very kind in accommodating our needs. For those of us who are used to dining late, the kitchen closes at 9pm

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food. I don't know why this happened - in my opinion there weren't too many guests there. The dishes were tasty, but sometimes quite oily/greasy (burger meat, fried potatoes) or too spicy (gazpacho). I can recommend the vegetarian dish. The presentation of the food on the plate is very appealing. The service was friendly, relaxed and always looked after us.

It's super tasty. Even though the food order was lost the first time and we had to wait a while, the staff responded very warmly. We were very very satisfied with our visit. The fact that we had a dog with us wasn't a problem and we were immediately given a bowl of water. Without asking! Very dear.

Awesome place to relax with good dinner compared to the closest options beside I enjoyed my dinner here, the potato, Schweinefilet und onions - the taste was pretty good, above my expectations. The chef understands how to work with seasoning! Only downside is that the potatoes didn't seem fresh and my dish was quite cold. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Work on the time between the dish is ready and served? Cold dishes aren't fun 😅 I might return 💕

This evening we were guests with 5 people in this idyllic atmosphere. We were served very nicely and the attentive service staff left nothing to be desired...until the food came.... Considering the prices, our expectations were accordingly. Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed by cold fish, a patty that was fried to death on the sparse burger and something constantly grinding in our teeth. Highly recommended to end an evening with a drink on the Elbe. Food underground. A pity.

Just the right place to spend a warm summer evening. The atmosphere is cozy with a great view of the Elbe and South Asia's Blaue Wunder. The food is lovingly prepared and the service is very accommodating. You can spend a few nice hours here…

A wonderful place to have dinner and relax and excellent service

We have now visited for the 5th time over several years. I have to admit that unfortunately the food was a bit poor. I loved the salad with goat cheese and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately this time it was really unseasoned and not fresh. Drenched in a dressing that simply tasted like nothing. From the presentation of the dishes and lemonades, the food looks really good, but unfortunately in my opinion you have really lost the taste. Added to this are the now really hefty prices. I understand that everything will be more expensive, but a small salad with 2 pieces of goat cheese, which is close to an appetizer, for almost 16 euros is just too juicy for me personally. The cake with the coffee was carelessly prepared and really stood in extreme contrast to the other dishes. Orders were sometimes forgotten and had to be reordered, but the service helped with its loving charm. Ambiance is really nice. The beer garden is lovingly decorated and you feel comfortable. The toilets are clean but really dark and narrow. Best regards

Oh, wonderful. If the host thinks about it, calls again in advance and you feel really well looked after. It was a beautiful day. Food was good, service was friendly and always there. The Elbe provides “action” and offers you a varied program free of charge.

Advertising “public viewing” online and then providing a 45-inch television is a bit cheeky. I didn't eat here (but it looked edible), the beer is on tap and has a good selection. Prices quite normal. It's ok for a beer, but I don't have to go here again
