This used to be the best kebab shop around, but now it has become a run-of-the-mill kebab shop like any other. The meat has definitely lost quality, and unfortunately so has the service. It's a shame that you don't take advantage of such a good reputation from the previous owner and still maintain the quality.

I relied on the positive Google reviews and bought a kebab box with fries despite the incredibly overpriced price. The meat was incredibly tough and tasteless, there were maybe 5 fries in the box and, despite the fact that they came fresh from the deep fryer, these were dry and obviously not seasoned/salted at all. Demanding almost €10 for this is a disgrace and even in a kebab shop that is of a much higher quality and tastes much better, you don't even come close to paying this completely exorbitant price. I can only advise everyone against this kebab shop

Currently the best kebab in Esslingen in the area. The kebab skewer is Yaprak style, so not a minced skewer. The sauce is high-quality solid yogurt, which is incredibly rare in Germany. The vegetables are fresher. The bread is also made in-house. Therefore a very clear recommendation!

I grew up in Esslingen and now live somewhere else. Konuk used to be considered the best kebab in Esslingen. There is nothing left of it, standard bread, industrial meat and standard sauces. But ++ prices. Very disappointing. Wasting such a good location for such an average kebab. Take a look at how a good kebab works! There is enough illustrative material on the internet.

The employee just shrugged his shoulders and said that he was just an employee and didn't understand why the prices were constantly being raised. The yufka was delicious, but I've been buying more and more elsewhere and now I'm done with konuk. It's a shame about the delicious meat One year ago: Unfortunately I have to adjust my rating. At some point there was a change in staff and a renovation, which increased the prices massively... The yufka was at €8 for the last few months, which is proud, but I was still willing to pay. But they increased it again to €9 almost overnight (all prices went up) and are filling the yufka less and less... Super disappointing now. Four years ago: The meat is world class!

The kebab used to be good. Not anymore today (meat was cold). Very unfriendly staff. And the prices keep going up. Although energy prices are going down again, prices are not being revised downwards.

It's really worth it, quick, cheap and tasty

There are lots of grilled vegetables to choose from and the vegetarian kebab was delicious. I also received quick and friendly service and would eat there again.

For me for years and still the best kebab far and wide. The meat is crispy, juicy and spicy with the delicious flatbread and the refreshing sauce with the fresh vegetables... It's a perfect combination of flavors and I'm happy every time I get to eat kebab here again. The ambience is typical of a snack bar and it is clean. The staff is quick and makes an effort. For me personally, however, it's more about the food and its quality.

Es war bisher für uns das beste Döner-Restaurant. Leider hat sich das geändert: Das Fladenbrot wird nicht mehr frisch zubereitet und schmeckt entsprechend schlecht. Das Fleisch ist ok, aber recht wenig im Verhältnis zum Preis von 8 Euro. Das Personal macht einen gelangweilten, desinteressierten Eindruck und die Renovierung hat das kleine Lokal dunkler und unfreundlicher gemacht. Sehr schade, aber nicht mehr empfehlenswert-

Yufka war deutlich schlechter als früher. Früher 10/10 (bester Yufka in Esslingen und Umgebung) Heute 4.5/10 (unter Durchschnitt) Hat geschmacklich eigentlich nichts mit früher zu tun. Sehr schade.

Der Rindfleisch Döner ist von höchster Qualität und super lecker. Einer der besten Döner der Region!

Sehr leckerer Döner. Qualitativ hochwertiges Fleisch und frisches Gemüse. Allerdings sind die Saucen etwas lame. Das hausgemachte Chili-Öl reißt das aber wieder raus. Weiter so Jungs und Mädels!

Von außen sieht der Imbiss ansprechen aus, so dachten wir lass uns da Mittagessen. Erster Eindruck war gut. Der Blick auf die Karte zeigte ein hohes Preisniveau. Wir dachten uns okay das muss ja super schmecken, wer solche Preise verlangt muss auch liefern. Doch leider war dem nicht so. Das Rindfleisch vom Spieß war total übersalzen. Das Hühnchenfleisch vom Spieß schwarz, sprich totgegrillt. Das wurde dann auch den Kindern unter einer dicken Schicht Yoghurtsoße serviert. Sehr schade hätte den Preis gerne bezahlt für gutes Essen. Werde in der Zukunft diesen Imbiss nicht mehr besuchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Viel zu teuer!!!! Trotzdem wenig Fleisch.... Bitte wenn ihr schon soviel verlangt spart nicht bei euren Fleisch und gibt die Kunden weniger Dönerfleisch die Stunden da rumliegt.

Heute Lamacun Spezial bestellt, wird is einer Schublade aus einer Tüte in den Ofen geschmissen nach 2 Sekunden, länger war es nicht wird man blöd angeschaut, wenn man sein Wunsch äußert.!! Das Fleisch ungenießbar mit einem verbrannten Geschmack…!!! Ekelhaft !!! HIER IST 1 🌟 schon zuviel….!!!! Dann kam die Krönung 12,50€ mit einer Dose Cola….!!!

Yufka ist hier nach wie vor top. Mag schon größer gewesen sein, Ok. Insgesamt aber viel lecker gegrilltes, nicht fettiges Rindfleisch! Preise sind für die Lage und Qualität für heutigen Stand ebenfalls im normalen Bereich, Yufka 8-10 Eur.... Auch Salat etc schaut alles sehr frisch aus. Kann den Laden weiterhin nur empfehlen

Das Restaurant ist in der Innenstadt (Fussgängerzone) von Esslingen gelegen und hat die typische Auswahl für türkische Restaurants. Ich habe ein Falafel Teller gewählt, der zwar lecker aussah, aber fad im Geschmack war. Zudem waren die zwei Saucen nicht auf dem Teller, sondern in extra Plastikbehältnissen. Der Abfall könnte vermieden werden. Die Tische wirkten nicht alle frisch geputzt. Preis war in Ordnung, Service freundlich. Sitzplätze sind im Restaurant und vor dem Restaurant mit direktem Kontakt zur Fussgängerzone.

Mit dem vegan/vegetarischen nimmt man’s hier nicht so genau. Hab Fleischreste im Essen gefunden und auf die Beschwerde dann die Antwort bekommen, dass das halt manchmal noch an der Zange klebt. Damit hatte sich das dann für drei anwesende Mitarbeiter erledigt. Vor Jahren ein guter Laden, heute auch in allen anderen Punkten enttäuschend.

From a old glory is only the name of the Food Local authentic. p.s my old review dont count anymore (see below) What to say more, probably one of the best Donner Kebab in a whole Region , everyone shold try it. Its traditional "yaprak donner" real whole meat slices on a stick (Beef and some Lamb between) with some natural spices , without natrium glutamat and other flavors . If you want "fast food" you shouldn't miss Konuk Kebab . Loved a Old Shop now is a renewed one ,but most important the taste are the same !

Fleisch war kalt und bereits runtergeschnitten.. lag wer weiß schon. Wie lange in der Fett-Aufgang Behälter vom Döner Gerät.. Döner war daraufhin einfach nur fettig und kalt.. Fleisch frisch anbraten und frisch runterschneiden so wie es sich gehört bitte.. nicht nochmal ... und dann noch salzige Preise verlangen.. leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen

Der Döner ist ganz okay - nie im Leben sein Geld wert, aber ganz okay. Was garnicht geht ist das Personal! Unfreundlich, lästert auf türkisch über Kunden (ja, manch einer der euren Laden betritt kann türkisch!) und Grundformen der Höflichkeit im Gastgewerbe gibts auch nicht wirklich. Ich war das letzte mal dort.

Miserabel. 6.50 EUR teuer, wenig Fleisch, dafür trocken und halbgar. Faules, arrogantes Personal... Hat nichts mehr mit dem Knouk von früher zu tun, vor dem Besitzwechsel. Eines der schlechtesten Döner überhaupt.

8€ für einen Yufka / Döner - zu teuer!!! Hatte nach dem Verzehr des Grillgemüse (Champignons) Beschwerden wie bei einem Magen-Darm Infekt. Keine Ahnung ob das Fett zu alt war, es war insgesamt sehr fettig.

Leider sehr enttäuscht vom Döner. War früher viel viel besser. Fleisch war trocken. Die Soße, wenn man es so nenn kann, war fad und hat eigentlich nach nichts geschmeckt. Das Brot hingegen war sehr gut. Das war aber leider schon alles. Ich war früher gerne dort essen aber die Qualität hat leider sehr nach gelassen.

Geschmacklich nicht wirklich gut. Preislich auch sehr teuer 8 € für ein yufka mit Käse. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.
