Königshof in Erwitte

We were recently at a so-called "Russian" restaurant. It looks like it's about to be renamed "Ukrainian." About half the guests were Ukrainians. That's okay, but listening to Serduchka was a bit of a challenge the entire evening. They tried to order our own music; they promised to play it, but it didn't. They kept shouting greetings to "our Ukrainian guests" into the microphone. When I asked why they weren't playing our music, the answer was: "We don't play Russian music." I asked: "Should we, the Russians, leave then?" The answer was devastating: "YES!" A conversation with the chef yielded no results. He made us look like chatterboxes. When I asked about the music, he asked: "Did you pay for it?" I thought 60 euros without drinks was enough to order at least one song for the evening. This was my first and last time there. I don't recommend going there for Russians.

We spontaneously stopped here for one night in our motorhome and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. Everything from beer to espresso was delicious. We'd love to come back 😊.

Very friendly service! I was only there for wine, but they have a great selection of cakes...

Ham was expired and the toilets were very dirty
