This place is just fantastic but the food is so good you will not believe it. Amazing!

As soon as the weekend is around the corner, the desire for delicious Chinese noodles increases again and again. We now get them once or twice a week at Kong. Overall, the map is manageable - we see that as a very good sign. There are various starter creations and various main courses with a focus on noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, dumplings) in two categories: as a soup or rather less liquid. The ambience is very minimalistic - concrete predominates here - I would classify it as stylishly modern. Unfortunately, the disadvantage is the background noise that many guests experience. The food is usually excellent - and addictive. We look forward to the next visit.

I really liked the design, everything is minimalistic and beautiful. Delicious food, large portions. I tried Chili Meat, it's a little spicy, so you can eat it. A very cool tea mug for tea, I have already ordered one for myself :) Cucumbers in sauce - as if something was missing, some kind of sauce for a pronounced taste.

well… the food is okay but nothing outstanding, a bit overpriced for the quality I would say. Service not attentive and interior good looking but uncomfortable. 5/10 for real wouldn't go there again.

Very, very, very tasty food served with a subtle spiciness. The starter was really good, the main course was even better, incredibly varied and stimulating. Absolutely recommended. Very friendly service.

As you can see from the photos and reviews, Kong immediately stands out for the clean and minimal style of the location. But there is much more. The dishes are all good, tasty and plentiful. However, be careful that they are all strictly spicy. So if you suffer easily, I'm not sure this is the place for you. Prices are normally between 13 and 15, but the quantities absolutely respect the cost for dinner. Friendly and fast staff! Good, but too peppery

Good flavors. Spicy but not as spicy as it should be. German spicy 🥵. Biggest complaint is the lack of meat. 3 or 4 little pieces in our noddles. Not sure why they are being cheap about chicken and beef.

Super tasty, all four loved our meals, generous portion drinks, great atmosphere. Would definitely visit again and will be a staple to our local friends.

KONG is my absolute favorite. The atmosphere is super non-binding and relaxed. Food comes quickly and is always delicious.

Very small portion and tasty was ok not special the price is not cheap chef cook not friendly order 7 dishes not full the food is not hot only little watm and no service at all only one staff and one cook one-time is encough to try that small Restarant and all the food we order they put decorate salad or veg everythingis same only change inside little . I don't think I will come again photos look good that's why I come but totally different and disappointed.and asked the waitress she said the kitchen is not here our food is delivered here we dont cook here thats why the food yiu dont really tasty good and so fast bring on the table and paid over 90 euro very angry 😔 .

The restaurant looks nice, industrial and minimal. When we arrived, we were served quickly and the order etc. was taken quickly. Overall the waitress was really nice. Unfortunately the food wasn't great, the starter with the cucumbers was so-so and as the main course I had the beef noodles. Unfortunately, they were extremely bland and tasted like nothing. When we wanted to pay, the restaurant was quite full and the only service was quite busy, so after several attempts we had to go to the counter to pay. No offense intended, but unfortunately it wasn't that great overall. About the price: Really expensive for the really boring food.

The food is deliciously flavorful, though much too spicy for my german tongue. Had to take it home and have someone else have it for breakfast ^^; 5 stars for the food, dont get me wrong. The ambiance isn't that great inside though, it's incredibly loud since there is nothing to scatter sound at all, the seats are not terribly comfortable and it gets a little chilly if the door is left open. If you're looking for spicy noodles with tender beef though you're at the right place here!

I had two tofu starters and the chilli tofu was incredible. Since I became vegan it has been difficult to find something that tastes so good and gives that Szechuan burn. Give stars!

It looks nice unfortunately everything is very spicy and really different from Thai and Vietnamese. Unfortunately, that wasn't our case.

I came here several times, every dish is as aesthetic as delicious! It’s a bit cold in winter and the seats might not be the most comfortable ones for everyone, but personally I don’t mind too much, the interior design is beautiful.

One of the best restaurants in this hood. Just found out about it and the food is to die for. Seriously one of my favourites now. Try the sweet chilli. Sweet but quite spicy as well. Perfect.

There are pasta dishes here. It tastes good, no question. But the portion sizes are really nothing if you are really hungry. We had dumplings and beef noodles. Both were tasty but far too little. We also had two appetizers, the Popcorn Chicken and the Cucumber Salad. Again, both mmn not enough for the price. I also mean something different by popcorn chicken, here chicken is served in a delicious sauce with puffed amaranth. The chicken was also very dry and tough, but was removed from the bill when asked. The guest room was a bit cold, both in terms of design and room temperature.

Waited for 30 minutes without being g acknowledged by the waiter, stood up and left. Horrible service

I used to love this place, definitely one of my favourite. I used to go almost every week. Unfortunately, they have a new menue since January, and since then, the food is not as good. It's ok, but nothing comparable to what is used to be. I have tried 3 different dishes, and I keep being very disappointed. I will wait a few months, maybe it gets better.

The place is good and so the staff. I just feel that they should have 1 more additional staff as there was only 1 girl who was catering everyone and I have been there on weekdays and it was full and ppl were waiting so clearly they have huge demand bt due to 1 employee things were slow like even getting the cheque. Rest the food was good.

Taste is ok but portion size is abysmal and spiced for Germans (i.e. hardly any spice). You're really paying for the aesthetics of the restaurant which I can't deny is impeccable. There are better options for a more filling, authentic Szechuan noodle meal.

I expected a lot from this restaurant that focuses on Sichuan specialties, but unfortunately I was disappointed. All dishes were bland, poorly seasoned and therefore boring. And the ribs were also dry. Overall, the store seems a bit run down and dingy. The table arrangement also takes some getting used to.

I’ve been a regular customer for the past years and always came for the taste of specific dishes, which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately it seems like since they recently got a new menu, the taste is completely different. The 2nd last time I went the waiter said that it might be because „it‘s a different cook“. The last time I didn‘t say anything because it was obvious that the dishes had changed for good. Sadly this was my last time there. I still hope the owner will „wake up“ and realize that this was a very bad idea.

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren zu Kong essen und bin immer ein Riesen Fan dieser Küche gewesen. Leider kam mit dem neuen Menü anscheinend auch eine Rezept Änderung bei einigen Gerichten hinzu, die in keinster Weise mit dem Essen zu vergleichen ist was ich zb noch im November dort bekommen habe . Die intensive Würze und Menge an Sauce war für mich immer ein persönliches Highlight, leider ist dies nicht mehr gegeben und ich werde dementsprechend fürs erste nicht mehr wieder kommen .

Really enjoyed our dinner 5 months ago, but something appears to have changed recently. The portions felt alot smaller in size and unfortunately less flavourful.

Really one of my favourite places to eat spicy amazing soup. Its not the cheapest, but not crazy expensive and its definitely worth it. I haven't had soups like this anywhere else in Berlin

Nicht immer ist eine Veränderung gut... Ich bin nun schon öfter hier essen gegangen. Der Laden wurde mir selbst empfohlen und fortan habe ich immer jemanden anderes mitgenommen. Bisher waren alle begeistert. Wir haben die Gerichte sowohl mit als auch ohne Brühe, sowohl vegetarisch als auch mit Fleisch bestellt. Scharf oder nicht so scharf. Bei der scharfen Variation brennt der Mund schon sehr, bei der nicht so scharfen, ist der Szechuan Pfeffer der Brühe, das was angenehm im auf der Zunge und den Lippen prizzelt. Die Brühe ist kraftvoll, aromatisch und mit einer sensationellen Textur. Die Weizennudeln knackig und lecker, die Zutaten sehr gut abgestimmt. So hätte ich auch gerne 5(+1) von 5 Sternen vergeben, doch nun hat sich in der Küche was geändert. Diese Woche war ich wieder mit Freunden da... Eine neue Karte wurde auf den Tisch gelegt und damit einher auch die Überzeugungskraft in den Gerichten. Ich aß Black Pork, die Brühe war dünner und weniger, die Nudeln nicht mehr so knackig, der Szechuan Pfeffer prizzelte nicht mehr und der Schweinbauch war klein geschnipselt und nicht so kross wie bei den anderen Malen. Die sehr freundliche Servicekraft meinte, dass diese Anpassung wohl so gewollt ist. :( Aus einem überdurchschnittlich guten Laden, wird damit ein durchschnittlicher Laden. Schade, echt echt schade.

It’s really great, especially the liquor they pour on the meet and made the grill. The taste and fregrant of the liquor fits perfectly with the noodle. And the one I ordered (the only one spicy) is spicy! At least I can taste it a bit! I highly recommend this one. It’s a must

Very small portions and the beef noodle only fat and skin, no actual meet. Quite uncomfortable chairs and table. My friend really liked her vegan option though.

I absolutely love this place. I have tried many noodle places in Berlin. But this remains my favourite. The noodles, veggies, broth, sauce. Everything is awesome.

Ich fand das Restaurant sehr schön. Man sitzt auf Hocker, das ist evtl. Nicht für jeden was. Essen ist ziemlich scharf. Ich mochte das sehr gerne, meine Begleitungen haben allerdings sehr gelitten. Leider war der Service sehr schlecht. Anfangs wird man schnell gefragt, was man essen möchte aber ab dann war es das. Unsere Teller wurden sehr lange nicht abgeräumt. Irgendwann sind wir für eine weitere Bestellung zum Tresen gegangen, mussten dann aber auch nochmal sehr lange warten, bis wir bedient wurden. Zur Bezahlung waren sie dann wieder schnell, aber auch nur, weil die schließen wollten. Ich würde das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Da gibt's in der Gegend genug andere sehr gute asiatische Restaurants.

很好吃。Gekonnt chinesische Küche auf Europa überführt. Fusion, aber von der richtig guten Sorte. Tolle Vorspeisen, herrliche Dumplings, leckere Nudeln.

Jedini razlog sto pisem ovu recenziju jeste da osobe koje imaju intoleranciju na gluten ili celijakiju upozorim. Narucila sam nudle bez glutena, ja na njemackom, drugarica ponovila na engleskom (znaci vise puta ponovljeno) i zamolila da obraze paznju radi alergije. Nazalost dobila sam obicne nudle, bile su mi cudne pa sam pitala jos jednom da provjere je li bez glutena, i nisu bile. Greske se svima dese, ali ukoliko imate celijakiju ili intoleranciju, vise puta provjerite koje ste nudle dobili.

Gestern war ich zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und wurde positiv von der köstlichen Küche überrascht. Obwohl die Einrichtung minimalistisch war, fehlte mir leider etwas Gemütlichkeit. Ich komme gerne wieder!

One of the best Moodle places in Berlin!! The Prince ist also fair. You can get more portion of noodle with small price. Just one thing is pity. At the time of opening the side dishes were really authentic but this became a bit European 😅 But the noodles are top and really tasty 🤗🤠

Dead atmosphere bad service ( the cocktails tasted really really bad and they wouldn’t let us replace also the wine tasted like it went bad) the food was okay , wouldn’t recommend

One of my favorite Asian places in Berlin. Their soupy noodles or the minced meat noodles they hit different in terms of complex flavors and combinations of ingredients. The stone bowl add to the charm. Decor and ambience has a sense of calmness. The minimal approach to the menu the interiors and the service makes this place feel like a great contrast to the fiery flavors of the food being served. The service is amazing, getting a table is easy as well if you are willing to wait a little. For me its a hidden gem in Berlin.

Super Adresse für fantastische Szechuan Küche! Die Nudeln sind perfekt, die Saucen scharf, aber geschmackvoll, die Starter passend und lecker. Bei den Getränken muss man die richtigen treffen. Für 2 Personen gibt man selten weniger als 50€ aus. Wir fanden den Preis i.O., für die Portionen aber auch etwas teuer. Das Ambiente ist modern mit viel Holz. Die Bestuhlung ist etwas hart und anstrengend, passt aber ins Bild. Man kommt hier eher zum Hundert stillen als für den ganzen Abend.

Wir waren 6 Leute und haben uns als Vorspeise unter anderem dumplings teilen wollen, weil auf der Karte steht es seien 12 Stück. Es waren nur 10 und als wir nachfragten sagte die Kellnerin nur "aha ok". Es gab also keine mehr für uns. Man wird also gnadenlos abgezockt. Ein fieser Trick ist auch, dass das Trinkgeld schon auf die Rechnung geschrieben wird und man es nur merkt, wenn man gezielt danach fragt. Ist das überhaupt legal? Die Toilette lässt sich nicht abschließen und eigentlich könnte jeder der zur Toilette läuft einen beobachten, weil ein breiter Schlitz in der Toilettentür tief blicken lässt. Unangenehm! All in all ist der Service ultra unaufmerksam, das Essen aber lecker.

I honestly had the best noodle in town!

I went here one year ago and I can order milk tea and cakes like in the pictures which are really tasty but they do not offer it any more. This time we found more food from Sichuan area which is a bit spicy but not too much. You can find rather authentic Chinese food as well as creative drink with nice cups and bowls. I recommend you to come if you would like to try some spicy food like Chaoshou or noodles. But some food are always available. Some small pre dishes are also very nice!

I have tried almost half the dishes on their menu now. I absolutely love the food. The staff is always nice and one never waits long for the food to arrive. Always a pleasure.

Das Essen war im Vergleich zu anderen Noodle-Restaurants nicht ganz so gut; die Nudeln waren sehr dünn und das Essen hätte mehr Geschmack haben können. Der Service war nett. Man kann leider nur Innen sitzen und da ist es dann sehr sehr laut. Preise etwas teuer.

We had a good meal: some great starters, okay meaty and vegan noodles and shared the vegan dumplings. It’s a nice place with friendly staff. The spices are very well balanced and the dishes fresh. Still, I’m not convinced.

We both got stomach issues after a meal here. We only ordered food with medium level spiciness. All dishes tasted salty oily and heavy.

Overpriced hipster tourist trap nonsense. Don't bother except for maybe some starters with a beer.

Good noodles, a bit spicy and oily for my taste but well made. The cucumber salad is simple and very nice. Minimalist design.

Overpriced, low-quality ingredients and unsavory. Pickled vegetables were marinated in cheep oil, the soup is very oily and spicy without flavor. Was a disappointment in the end…

The food quality does not match the price. 13,5€ for a meal that is precooked and warmed plus even if you like spicy food this will make you feel burning and not in a good way. The food was not eatable due to the amount of oil and chili inside. Definitely needs improvement. The interior is nice and clean.

Ich war aufgrund einer Empfehlung mit meinen Schwestern hier. Wenn man auf Nudeln und scharfes Essen steht, führt hier kein Weg dran vorbei. Es war ein super tolles Geschmackserlebnis. Am liebsten würde ich 6 Sterne vergeben.

The service was great! Really nice waitress. About the food: The dumplings were pretty good but the noodles were a bit bland as the sauce didn't really stick on them. While eating my noodles I kept thinking how Chungking do it better.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Die Nudeln mit der Erdnuss-Soße waren in Ordnung. Dahingegen bestand die Brühe vom Happy Beef lediglich aus Öl und war sehr lasch. Ich weiß nicht, was sich in dieser Brühe befand, jedoch hat sich meine Zunge wie betäubt angefühlt.

These noodles are amazing and full of flavours ! I was there several times, you can expect to pay around 50€ for 2 persons with sharing a starter and drinks for each (and main dishes). The white pepper soup was very fine in taste, you can very much distinguish the pepper.

Yummiest noodles of the neighborhood. I have tried both with and without broth, and still can’t decide which I like more. They accept card, the personnel is friendly and the food is served timely. I would come more to this place if it wasn’t always so crowded, but this is actually because it is too good! Oh before I forget, the aesthetic of the place is pure serenity! I love the minimalistic Asian decor.

They have authentic Chinese noodles and desserts. If you want to taste real Chinese spicy, this is the one you can go to. The environment is great and they have beautiful design inside. I really love sitting by the big windows.
