This is the best place to eat schnitzel in Kassel. The prices are great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Especially the waitress Merry. Friendly, delicious, and reasonably priced. I go here quite often.

Nice service that was on the ball. Wort didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. I would describe the food as good middle class, it was good and plentiful. The selection is not overwhelming. The atmosphere is old German and that's a good thing, in addition to all the ultra-modern things in the city, it's simply down-to-earth, rustic and cozy. All in all worth a visit.

The knuckle is a complete disaster, no crust, dry and cold inside. It tasted like it came from the microwave.

The food is always super delicious! However, it is outrageous that you are charged an extra 5.50 euros for extra cheese and a bit of sauce. This isn't said beforehand, it's simply taken off without comment! Everything has become more expensive. I understand that, but that's probably a cheek!!! An additional charge of 1 euro is also made for changing the side dish (fries into croquettes). You can actually make money that way too! Whether croquettes or fries. What difference does that make? That would actually be a reason for me not to come here anymore!!!

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. In my opinion, plastic dishes in a restaurant are not acceptable. My schnitzel was extremely dry. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive either. Things used to be worlds better...

The food was very tasty as always. Swiss schnitzel with an extra Strindberg sauce. The dessert, apple strudel, is also highly recommended. At the end there was a latte macchiato, which was very, very tasty. A very good coffee taste. Everything perfect. Despite what we were told at the beginning it could take longer. We only waited 1 hour. We hadn't reserved a table and everything was full. So everything is great.

Ich komme aus Bayern, und war sehr überrascht in Kassel eine "typisch bayrische Gaststätte" zu sehen. Dass überall gespart wird, schlägt sich auch auf die Gastronomie nieder, dass wissen wir. Allerdings in einer Gaststätte das Essen auf Plastik (sogar das "gußeiserne Servierpfanderl") serviert zu bekommen, das gibt es in Bayern nicht einmal im Biergarten. So eine Geschmacklosigkeit haben wir noch NIE erlebt. Dass dem Essen der Geschmack fehlte, ist wohl dem Motto "Masse statt Klasse" zuzuschreiben. Dafür aber sind die Preise gehobene Mittelklasse. In den meisten Kantinen bekommt man inzwischen bessere Qualiät auf Prozellan serviert zu Kantinenpreisen.

The Comedy Stadium used to be my favorite restaurant, especially the delicious schnitzels. After a long time, I was there again for Christmas dinner with the department and treated myself to a rump steak, which used to be very tasty there too. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The steak (28 euros) and the fries were very well done and dry :(( I don't find the schnitzel prices at 15.90 or 16.90 euros cheap either; for that money I get much better schnitzels in country restaurants, even from the pan. But what I found worst was that everyone's food was served on PLASTIC DISHES!!!! That's probably not possible!!!!!!!!! And the former beautiful ambience is also gone.......... The staff no longer wears proper dirndls and lederhosen either :(( I probably won't go there again! Too bad

The food is ok but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately the taste wasn't good enough for me. The service could definitely be better, when the drinks are empty you don't ask if you want anything else. In general the service is not very present.

Christmas Goose was a joke. It was extremely dry and smelled and tasted like an old oven. In addition, it had no filling and was simply prepared incorrectly. Dumplings were delicious, cabbage was delicious. The portion size was great. For me and our friends, it was overall the worst Christmas goose.

I was here again at the Christmas party with the people living in care. But when I saw the plastic plates I was speechless. Someone asked afterwards why they were now using plastic because the plates were too heavy. That was the reason. But I don't think it's nice I don't come anymore because I just think it's a shame. Since the place now takes plastic Food everything was super tasty, service was great Merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy new year 2025

We spent our Christmas party here once again and, as always, we were extremely satisfied with the service and the dishes. Despite the size of the barn, you didn't have to wait long for food and drink. Prices are in the normal range and are therefore appropriate.

Duck was a bit dry and unfortunately there was very little sauce. An additional charge is required for more sauce. I didn't think that was that good. Otherwise the service and ambience was great. There were a lot of us and yet the food came quickly and, above all, almost at the same time!

A really great Bavarian inn! Highly recommended! We had a flädle soup and the venison goulash with red cabbage and dumplings! Simply delicious. The service was very nice and attentive. When we're back in Kassel, we'll be happy to come back!

The meat was fried to death, the dumplings served were more like hash browns that tasted like they were from the day before. The sauerkraut was very tasteless, as was the sauce that came with it. The atmosphere is really inviting and the service was also great. However, I wouldn't eat there anymore. Maybe the prices should be raised a little so that the quality of the food improves accordingly.

On the second attempt the rump steak was okay, unfortunately the incredible number of flies in the beer garden were very annoying. The service was very accommodating.

Little needs to be added to the other reviews. Rustic restaurant with a Bavarian ambience and perhaps even the best schnitzels in Kassel. Whenever I visit my hometown, I stop by with my mother (she gave me a "taste"). The owners and waiters are very accommodating and friendly.

Wir waren zum Fußballgucken dort. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von Essen und Getränken war in Ordnung, Gut bürgerliche Küche. Essen war lecker, große Portionen. Der absolute Knaller war die Bedienung Patrick: schnell, aufmerksam und an Freundlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen.

Decent, good-bourgeois restaurant, Bavarian dishes. Good value for money, large portions, food was delicious. The highlight is the waitress Patrick: fast, attentive and unbeatable in terms of friendliness. How lucky you are to have someone like that in your service!

We were there to eat. Prices great, food super tasty. The schnitzels are really amazing. The only thing that wasn't nice was the service. She left the impression that she was annoyed and didn't feel like it. That's a real shame because it's really good there. The waitress didn't even ask for a nice evening or anything, took money, thank you, and she was gone. Then one more wonderful evening afterwards I just said thank you. Maybe work on it then you have a great beer garden. Thanks for the good food and big compliments to the KITCHEN.

Today we had spinach schnitzel to take away. As always, it should be leaf spinach and hollandaise sauce. This time, however, when I opened it at home (without warning!) there was creamed spinach. Because of lactose intolerance, I could only wash it off so that I could at least eat the schnitzel. Very annoying....

Aufgrund der Kooperation mit einem nahegelegenen Seminarraumanbieter ist alles für uns vorbereitet, lediglich die Getränkebestellungen müssen noch aufgenommen werden. Ich habe mich für ein "Zwiebelschnitzel (mit Röstzwiebeln und Bratensauce)" entschieden. Dazu gibt es Pommes und einen frischen Beilagensalat. A nice restaurant. You have a bit of a feeling of being in Bavaria. Lots of wood and rustic. I think everything fits together well. Location matches the map perfectly. We decided on the schnitzel. The schnitzels were a nice size, 250g was enough for me. If you're really hungry, you can't go wrong with 500g. The schnitzels were very tasty. I was able to try schnitzel at 4 of them and I have to say the Western schnitzel was the best for me. I had a gypsy schnitzel which I found tasty but very sweet. It was just at the limit for me. We would love to have a wonderful evening again.
