Komagene Frankfurt Höchst in Frankfurt am Main

I tried the chicken doner kebab here for €5. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The bread wasn't toasted, the meat was still raw, and there was hardly any topping on the doner (see photo). €5 is far too expensive for that. I wasn't even asked how I wanted my doner. I told the employee to please share it. Then his colleague came over and simply placed the entire doner on the table, saying he didn't know how to share it. You have to wonder what that employee was doing there. His colleague saw it and then shared the doner for me. He's the reason it still gets 2 out of 5 stars.

Hygiene leaves much to be desired; it looks anything but appetizing. I still got a cigköfte dürüm (for whatever reason) and deeply regretted it… I had stomach problems for days… Which is sad because 1.5 years ago it was so clean and delicious.

Clean, staff friendly and helpful. I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews.

We were there a while ago. The owner was really strange. Well, we bought cigköfte durum. One very, very important flaw: cigköfte is served with regular bread wrap. Anyone who knows anything knows that a special lavash bread is used for cigköfte. This really spoiled the flavor. I've usually had good experiences with the Komagene chain, but if the most important thing is missing, then something's wrong with this shop.

Service 0 out of 10, completely unprofessional and rude. Completely wrong order, and they didn't even offer to deliver the correct one again. Despite mentioning that the food had to go because they don't eat meat, they just said, "Well, there's nothing you can do." So I'll never order from there again and definitely recommend picking it up!

I was satisfied with the cheese kofte wrap. It was quick and tasted good. The price/performance ratio is fair.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. The food was greasy and didn't smell fresh. Shortly after the visit, I had severe gastrointestinal discomfort. I can't say for sure if it was the food, but I will avoid the place. The overall cleanliness was questionable.

The çiğ köfte stand was full of flying insects, which I also mentioned. The çiğ köfte was not tasty at all—I definitely can't recommend it.

The food was okay, but the service left a lot to be desired. The employees are extremely slow, talk while working, and take forever. Just putting on the gloves took almost five minutes. I had to wait almost 30 minutes for 1.5 kg of çiğköfte. Meanwhile, the owner was praising himself in front of another customer, saying how perfect he was and how he could do anything, instead of worrying about the process or the waiting customers. Customers felt rather out of place. The franchisor, Komagene, should urgently take a closer look at this branch.

I tried everything and would like to thank all the staff there for bringing together such wonderful flavors. I recommend it to everyone as there are flavors to try.

The shop is now a kebab shop. The kebab costs 9 euros and was below average and just edible. I don't know exactly what, but something really bothered me about the taste. I wouldn't go there again.

If fewer stars than 1 were possible, I would have given it. Duman kebab: the worst and weakest durum I have ever eaten. That too for €9 in Höchst.

Why not create an entry here that you are temporarily closed? I went there specifically.

I often go to komagene in Höchst because the service is very friendly and the food tastes really good. I usually take the chee köfte wrap and it is highly recommended for its taste and price

It takes a really long time to prepare and the staff are very, very unpleasant.

The store is supposedly open until 10 p.m., no one is there at 9:15 p.m., the store is closed... the last time we went here

The store itself is ok. The conditions are very friendly, the shop is nicely decorated, but it is a bit run down. I'm a little disappointed in the taste, it doesn't suit my taste. Sometimes it's too dry, the spiciness is convincing, but the rest has some catching up to do.

Unpleasant salesperson who asks you very personal questions and makes inappropriate comments. Ciğköfte mediocre.

It's better to buy it ready-made from the market

Very good vegetarian food. I've never eaten here before and I was really impressed with how good the food was. My recommendation...

It's a total disgrace. The guy working there is forced to work and shouts as if we're asking questions. They're rude.

Everything tastes okay too. But please, what kind of toxic plastic bags are they (apart from the fact that they are no longer allowed). Please smell your bags, they smell like melted Chinese plastic. That can't be healthy. Please exchange for a sensible one. I had to take the bag out of my apartment immediately because everything smelled like plastic.

Preferably zero stars. It says on the internet that they are open from 11 a.m. on Sundays. We were there just before 12pm and it was too… Thanks for nothing!

I was very happy with the wrap and the cake today, even compared to similar restaurants! 10 euros for both with tea was more than fair.

The employees are very friendly and nice Good food and drink

We went to get çiğköfte today and the 3 of us ate almost a kilo. Tastes great, will come again.

Best Çiğköfte in Frankfurt Höchst

Great vegan options and tasty food. I enjoy ordering the spicy options since they are definitely hotter than other versions of spicy around. I usually order from here for my lunch about twice a month

komische unfreundliche bedienung

Ich hatte nur Köfte gelesen. Mag ich normalerweise, aber in diesem Fall sollte man wissen dass Chee Köfte etwas vegatarisches/veganes ist, dass man in Salatblätter wickelt. Also nicht überrascht sein.

Hatte den Köfte Wrap. Der Servcie war richtig gut und freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Vor allem preislich echt gut.

Update: August 2023: die Bedienung stellt zu viele persönliche Fragen, redet zu viel. Cigköfte dürüm schmeckt exzellent und ist m.M.n. Eine der besten im Raum FFM. Aber die Bedienung (selbst to-go) ist so unglaublich langsam. 20 min Wartezeit ist hier Minimum!

Leckerer Falafel Wrap (veggi). Hatte ihn zum mitnehmen.

Leckere, schnelle und frische Gerichte. Super für den Sommer oder Zwischendurch. Preis-Leistung ist ebenfalls ok.

Der Chee Köfte Wrap war sehr lecker! Die Falafel auch zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Der Köfte Wrap war gut. Man kann aus drei unterschiedlichen Schärfestufen wählen. Die Granatapfelsauce hat dazu sehr gut gepasst. Die Preise sind relativ günstig. Ich komme wieder, um Anderes zu kosten.

Super Laden mit freundlichen Personal! Eine gefühlt gesunde Alternative zum Fastfood! Die Wraps muss man testen, echt lecker!

Falafel-Wrap bestellt. Die Portion ist klein, der Preis theoretisch okay, aber für die Menge etwas zu viel. Als Saucen gibt es irgendwas aus der Tube. Die Falafel sind wohl TK. Geschmacklich in Summe so lala. Tatsächlich ist es so, dass die südländischen Gäste hier schneller bedient werden und ihr Essen früher bekommen. Scheinbar muss ich meinen Bart noch ein bisschen wachsen lassen. Freundlichkeit gibt es ebenfalls zur Begrüßung und co nur für Südländer. Ebenfalls nur Barzahlung möglich. 2023 weiß wohl jeder, wieso.

Die Falafel waren komplett weich, als wären sie bloß aufgewärmt. Der Wrap war ganz ok, ich hatte aber am Ende nur Salat im Mund, hat sich leider nicht für mich gelohnt. Wer vegan essen möchte kommt hier vielleicht eher auf seine Kosten, war leider nichts für mich.

Schmeckt echt gut das Personal ist auch sehr nett aber die Portionen sind echt nichts für den Preis man wird nicht satt ab und zu kann man im Notfall essen

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und haben Falafel Wraps bestellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Nur zu empfehlen! 😊

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Man hat uns auch etwas von dem Kofte zum probieren angeboten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Einrichtung ist wirklich schön. Ich werde definitiv öfter vorbeikommen.

Innen gibt es wirklich sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich verdammt gut und ist für mich als einen Veganer der beste Imbiss in ganz Höchst. Es schmeckt nicht nur gut, sondern gleichzeitig auch sehr gesund durch das Gemüse. Die spezielle Köftemischung ist vegan und wird in Wraps, Tacos und sonstigem verwendet. Dort ist Essen für jeden dabei.
