My favorite falafel shop. An absolute insider tip. I regularly drive from Cologne to Frankfurt for this. The food tastes AMAZING and the prices are reasonable.

The best hummus in town! Although many know this place for falafel, for me it is the hummus that is the main favorite. Excellent value for money, especially if you do not mind the queue. For me personally, this is the best vegan takeaway - the food does not get cold on the way, and if you are not vegan, there are meat options too. By the way, their fries are also worth mentioning - very thin and crispy, just the way I like it.

This inconspicuous hut has it all. The food is incredibly delicious. Unfortunately there is no seating, but that's not a bad thing, especially when the weather is good!

Today we went to Aroma for the first time and were thrilled! I had the falafel with hummus and sheep's cheese, my girlfriend had the same but with grilled eggplant. The food was fresh, incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned - the falafel was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The hummus was creamy and harmonized perfectly with the spicy sheep's cheese. The eggplant was also wonderfully tender and aromatic. You can tell that people cook with love here! We will definitely be back and can only recommend the aroma!

The food is good but very expensive for a falafel pita. If you think it’s vegetarian dish and will not cost much to make the pita of falafel.

Rarely eaten so well! I've eaten there twice now (I'm from Stuttgart) and it's definitely worth a visit! Don't let the ambience fool you. Food is super fresh, prices are fair and staff is friendly :) I will definitely stop by again when I'm in Frankfurt again.

I can't believe I didn't know about this place before! Delicious! The price-quality ratio is excellent. Of course, there is a huge line around closing time, so it's a good idea to arrive a little early. And like everything in Germany, bring cash.

So seriously. We live in 2025 and I can't pay by card. Tax evasion in the direct sight of the tax office. It's unbelievable that something like this is possible.

Everything, absolutely everything, is freshly prepared. Funnily enough, you can only eat standing or on the surrounding benches. The team works at a routine pace to serve the customers with great friendliness. The falafel are perfectly crispy and moist inside. The hummus is homemade and tastes delicious.

The flavor is simply unbeatable when it comes to falafel! Crispy, fresh and perfectly seasoned – it couldn’t be better. My personal recommendation: Falafel with hummus and sheep's cheese - a real taste explosion! It can get crowded at lunchtime, but don't worry: even if the line looks long, it moves quickly. The wait is definitely worth it! Definitely one of the best street food spots in Frankfurt – anyone who has been here is guaranteed to come back.

Unfortunately the portions are around Approximately 1/3 smaller when I compare this with approximately 1 year ago and that is really shocking because the prices have also increased! Sorry, but paying almost €9 is no longer proportionate, sorry, I'm out of it 👌.

Best falafel sandwich in Frankfurt without a doubt. Be careful, many people prefer off-peak hours and avoid meal times otherwise a long wait awaits you.

The service is not always good. Sometimes people are in a bad mood and the atmosphere is ALWAYS heavy in there. As for the food, it is very rich. But the price-product relationship is not so good.

Easily the best falafel in Germany. I’d say probably Europe too but i’ve never tried it anywhere else in Europe lol. Quite long queues during the summer and they were closed randomly on Saturdays. But you can’t find Falafel as good as here

You can really get the very best falafel in Frankfurt here. In summer, the queues are sometimes longest for Frankfurt. But this is a quality feature and the staff works very quickly. It seems like a lot of students eat and meet there, which isn't surprising given the low prices. As a local resident, I prefer to eat at home because it quickly gets too full right in front of the snack bar. My tip: Falafel with halloumi and onions, for me it can also be spicy.

Very large portion, and simply the best falafel outside of Israel! For the third time during our stay in Frankfurt we went to the Nordend to Aroma, it is a culinary experience: great flatbread, the tomato-cumin sauce was new to us, the houmous tastes like a lot of tahina in it, and very, very crispy falafel, which is soft and inside are not crumbly. Nice guys in the staff. Despite the December cold, a celebration! And the price is so fair for this quality!

Rich, delicious Mediterranean-style vegetarian food. I got the one that was falafel with egg plant and it was a little spicy but just rich with flavor. I will go here again. It’s a walk up stand with a few spaces to sit and eat and a couple of tables to stand and eat. I recommend fork and napkins! Staff was friendly and food was quick and hot.

I've known the aroma for a long time, bought a sandwich for 9 euros, with falafel, halloumi and various vegetables and sauces. The food was ok, the falafel was very good. However, the price is too high for the performance.

Update: the food is not anymore the same. I always get the same thing, however in the last 5 times I've noticed the quality drop significantly. Furthermore I don't understand their prices anymore. For a place with self service, no place to properly eat, and no card payments (we all know what this means in terms of tax declarations) makes no sense that a sandwich cost an average of 8+ euros. I used to go at least once per week here. Now I go once per two months. Original: It's not a coincidence that this place is one of the most loved street foods places in Frankfurt. Food is great and cheap. The only disadvantage is the long waiting times, especially during peak hours of lunch.

Tastes great, but has become smaller and more expensive, only pays in cash and is pretty unfriendly! The hype seems to be over, it was much better here two years ago...

As the saying goes, “I don’t have a photo for you today,” because the Pita flavor isn’t necessarily an eye-catcher! But in terms of taste. The aroma is consistently really good and the way the individual ingredients come together makes this pita what it is, an “aroma”. For me it's always pita falafel with eggplant. An absolute recommendation for me!

The “water house” in a class of its own. The former traditional water house has been converted into a falafel snack bar with flair. Everything is so well organized that you can get your warm food quickly, even with the usual heavy crowds. You are given beer mats with numbers on them and you are called when your food is ready. You can taste that the falafel itself is made from chickpeas. This is unique, in my opinion. The menu is manageable. There's falafel. But apparently this is the only way to concentrate on the quality of the product. You can literally taste the passion for this dish. If you are in Frankfurt you should stop by AROMA. My rating: unique.

Germany is becoming well-known for their turkish Döner (friendly relations between countries just create amazing things! ). This easy carry-out meal full of flavour is made of falafels or eggplants. Aroma also offers vegan option, or meat option. It had been and is still my favorite döner kiosque in Frankfurt.

The “probably” could easily disappear from the subhead “Probably the best falafel in town”. And it's not just the falafel that's great, try the sweet potato fries too! Evaluating the ambience is not easy without a guest room, since you are standing in a public space (aka sidewalk) and the "ambience" is reduced to the audience. All you can see is: from skaters to students, muddies and bankers to silverbacks, you stand around together, maybe start a conversation and - contrary to all expectations - there is never anything unpleasant about it.

Delicious falafel in pita bread, different variations, all very tasty

We tried two pita sandwiches: one with falafel, hummus, and eggplant cream, and the other with falafel, hummus, and goat cheese. Falafel and hummus: Pretty average, nothing extraordinary. I could barely taste the eggplant cream, probably because it was smeared all the way at the bottom of the pita and I couldn’t get to it until the very end. The cabbage mixture was overloaded. I would have preferred a mixture of tomatoes, onions, and cucumber salad instead. The spicy sauce was tasty. However, the overall combination made the sandwiches soggy and difficult to eat without creating a big mess. The crew was very friendly. When we were there, they were cracking jokes with the other customers. We didn’t experience a long line. It was nice that we could sit out on the benches and enjoy the weather. PS: No Credit Card. Cash only.

Mit großem Appetit bin ich heute nach Frankfurt gefahren, um wieder einmal lecker orientalisch zu essen. Habe mir eine Brottasche mit Falafel, Hummus und Auberginenscheiben bestellt. Alles hat hier wie immer super geschmeckt. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal!

This is a fun little falafel stand just outside a park. Many in the reviews talk about cheaper prices before covid, but I feel like what I paid for a falafel with eggplant paste was worth it (9€). They put plenty of sauce and the falafel tastes homemade.

One of the best falafel places ever. The only hind sight is that they do not accept cash. They have vegan, vegetarian and omnivorous options. We tried the classic falafel which was absolutely delicious. We also added the aubergine and halloumi which was equally delicious! Absolutely worth a try.

Bit expensive but really some of the best falafel in the city

Unfortunately it's no longer good - it used to be one of the best Prices high, portion sizes down, no more shawarma, instead hamburger patties with questionable taste. It's become way too expensive and the quality has gone down. No more recommendation. :(

Flavor Falafel (Nordend) Visit: July 2020 Already teased in the Insta story and a word that comes to mind: taste explosion! The stand shows once again that it doesn't have to be Instagrammable to have a long line in front of the door. The taste is convincing. The shawarma is aromatic, spicy and due to the pickled radish (?) it has a sour component and tastes completely different to kebab. A dream in combination with eggplant and anyway, because of the delicious sauces 😄 We also had falafel with eggplant slices, but in comparison we didn't think it was as good and a bit dry. 💶 Prices 5-7€

It's a small buffet but it has very good flavors, especially the falafel and hummus. I highly recommend it.

Best falafel!! Growing up in Japan I’d never eaten falafel until arriving in Germany. Never liked them until I came here and tried their sandwich. Ate here several times, never disappointed. Aubergine cream is a bit too heavy for me, I prefer Aubergine slices.

I don't want to beat around the bush too much. The meal has become my favorite dish after two bites. I don't want to say anything more about it. Ps: this is my first Google review ever and that's saying something.
