Absolutely disappointing and not worth the hype. The sandwich bread crumbled, the halloumi was dry, and the eggplant slices were missing. When I went back and complained, they did put the eggplant slices on my sandwich, but unfortunately, they were extremely greasy and unsalted. All in all, an experience and a taste sensation worth skipping.

We've been eating here for about 10 years, and we think it's getting worse and worse. The portions (falafel) are getting smaller and smaller, with less variety and less filling. It used to be a taste experience with lots of herbs, crispy freshness, and homemade bread; now it's more like a sandwich. Furthermore, the service is really unfriendly and unappealing. It's a shame, as this used to be a pleasant insider tip in Frankfurt.

It's a cute small place with a fixed menu. The food is good. We took falafel wrap, the bread was amazing but maybe it wasn't as flavourful as I have had in other places but it's good. The ambience is really nice though, the queue is long but moves fast and everyone around is there to have good food and fun, so, nice vibes. The food is reasonably priced as well. I would recommend.

The best falafel I've tried in Germany. Deliciously seasoned, not at all dry, and a vibrant green color. The pickled vegetables and other toppings on the sandwich go perfectly with it, especially the mint. I never thought I'd enjoy falafel so much; it was better than many, many doner kebabs I've eaten.

I've been back for the first time in a long time after the horrendous price increase and ordered four falafel for about €35. Three of the four falafel were topped incorrectly, and the extra toppings weren't included in the sandwich. Unfortunately, it's not like it used to be; there are always new people topping the falafel without any concept.

I've never eaten better falafel. Everything is super fresh and homemade. No frozen food. No matter how long the line is, if you want falafel, go there.

Nothing beats AromA. I firmly believe they have the best sandwiches in town. Falafel and haloumi are my favorites. The only downside: a lot of packaging waste (aluminum foil) and no seating.

The slogan, "probably the best falafel in town," is a bit of an exaggeration. However, you can do so with a clear conscience. They are by far the best in town. The old kiosk on Oederweg is so inconspicuous that if I didn't know they served good food, I'd just walk right past. Although I have to admit, I liked it a bit better there before the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, they've only been offering takeaway. The sharwarma has also been removed from the menu. Please definitely try this place anyway; it's a great experience that you should try in Frankfurt.

A real insider tip in Frankfurt! The aroma may seem rather unassuming from the outside, but the food is simply unbeatable. The falafel is by far some of the best I've ever eaten. The hummus was also incredibly delicious. If you love falafel, you absolutely have to go here! Probably the best falafel in town.

Great place! Both the falafel and the burgers were incredibly tasty – everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and most importantly, very juicy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely recommend!

The falafel tasted okay. However, the service was a disaster. My falafel was very cold. I think the sandwich sat there for a while until my fries were ready. When I mentioned the cold falafel, they reacted extremely rudely and blamed it all on the cold sauce. No concession, no understanding, and no customer service.

I have to admit that the flavor has diminished considerably. The falafel have a very floury consistency and are simply tasteless. On top of that, there is ice-cold vegetables on the falafel which simply do not go well with each other and the sauce on the sandwich is so heavy that you can't really eat the falafel sandwich without making a mess. There are better falafel sandwiches in Frankfurt.

The best hummus in town! Although many know this place for falafel, for me it is the hummus that is the main favorite. Excellent value for money, especially if you do not mind the queue. For me personally, this is the best vegan takeaway - the food does not get cold on the way, and if you are not vegan, there are meat options too. By the way, their fries are also worth mentioning - very thin and crispy, just the way I like it.

This inconspicuous hut has it all. The food is incredibly delicious. Unfortunately there is no seating, but that's not a bad thing, especially when the weather is good!

Today we went to Aroma for the first time and were thrilled! I had the falafel with hummus and sheep's cheese, my girlfriend had the same but with grilled eggplant. The food was fresh, incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned - the falafel was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The hummus was creamy and harmonized perfectly with the spicy sheep's cheese. The eggplant was also wonderfully tender and aromatic. You can tell that people cook with love here! We will definitely be back and can only recommend the aroma!

Rarely eaten so well! I've eaten there twice now (I'm from Stuttgart) and it's definitely worth a visit! Don't let the ambience fool you. Food is super fresh, prices are fair and staff is friendly :) I will definitely stop by again when I'm in Frankfurt again.

I can't believe I didn't know about this place before! Delicious! The price-quality ratio is excellent. Of course, there is a huge line around closing time, so it's a good idea to arrive a little early. And like everything in Germany, bring cash.

So seriously. We live in 2025 and I can't pay by card. Tax evasion in the direct sight of the tax office. It's unbelievable that something like this is possible.

Everything, absolutely everything, is freshly prepared. Funnily enough, you can only eat standing or on the surrounding benches. The team works at a routine pace to serve the customers with great friendliness. The falafel are perfectly crispy and moist inside. The hummus is homemade and tastes delicious.

The flavor is simply unbeatable when it comes to falafel! Crispy, fresh and perfectly seasoned – it couldn’t be better. My personal recommendation: Falafel with hummus and sheep's cheese - a real taste explosion! It can get crowded at lunchtime, but don't worry: even if the line looks long, it moves quickly. The wait is definitely worth it! Definitely one of the best street food spots in Frankfurt – anyone who has been here is guaranteed to come back.

Unfortunately the portions are around Approximately 1/3 smaller when I compare this with approximately 1 year ago and that is really shocking because the prices have also increased! Sorry, but paying almost €9 is no longer proportionate, sorry, I'm out of it 👌.

Best falafel sandwich in Frankfurt without a doubt. Be careful, many people prefer off-peak hours and avoid meal times otherwise a long wait awaits you.

The service is not always good. Sometimes people are in a bad mood and the atmosphere is ALWAYS heavy in there. As for the food, it is very rich. But the price-product relationship is not so good.

You can really get the very best falafel in Frankfurt here. In summer, the queues are sometimes longest for Frankfurt. But this is a quality feature and the staff works very quickly. It seems like a lot of students eat and meet there, which isn't surprising given the low prices. As a local resident, I prefer to eat at home because it quickly gets too full right in front of the snack bar. My tip: Falafel with halloumi and onions, for me it can also be spicy.

Very large portion, and simply the best falafel outside of Israel! For the third time during our stay in Frankfurt we went to the Nordend to Aroma, it is a culinary experience: great flatbread, the tomato-cumin sauce was new to us, the houmous tastes like a lot of tahina in it, and very, very crispy falafel, which is soft and inside are not crumbly. Nice guys in the staff. Despite the December cold, a celebration! And the price is so fair for this quality!

Rich, delicious Mediterranean-style vegetarian food. I got the one that was falafel with egg plant and it was a little spicy but just rich with flavor. I will go here again. It’s a walk up stand with a few spaces to sit and eat and a couple of tables to stand and eat. I recommend fork and napkins! Staff was friendly and food was quick and hot.

I've known the aroma for a long time, bought a sandwich for 9 euros, with falafel, halloumi and various vegetables and sauces. The food was ok, the falafel was very good. However, the price is too high for the performance.
