KOKORO in Nürnberg

We were greeted very friendly and courteous and served quickly. The selection of dishes is very good and stands out from the usual. We only missed baked sushi. The presentation on the plate was average, the taste was good to very good. A big plus is the outdoor lighting next to the New Museum and the backdrop of the historic city wall.

We had lunch here and sat outside. The outside area was pleasant and the service was very friendly and attentive. The food was served promptly, which we noticed positively. A small downer: There were a few dishes on the menu that I would have liked to order, but unfortunately these are only offered during the week. That was a bit of a shame. However, the food itself was excellent – ​​fresh, flavorful and beautifully served. The prices are quite high, but the quality is good and you don't treat yourself to something special every day. Overall a good experience that we can recommend. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty food, staff was super nice. General atmosphere and ambience inside is super nice. There could be some work done on the walls to reduce the volume, but otherwise everything is really great.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the city! Kokoro is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in all of Nuremberg. Every time I eat there I feel completely at home. This is not only due to the stylish ambience and the cozy atmosphere, but above all to the outstanding staff. The team is always friendly, attentive and helpful - you are always greeted with a smile and immediately feel welcome. They take their time, advise patiently and are always ready to respond to individual requests. The food is simply delicious! Every dish I have tried so far has been freshly prepared, tasted excellent and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. I'm particularly impressed by the consistently high quality - no matter how often I come, it always tastes fantastic. I can really recommend Kokoro to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine at its best. It's definitely worth a visit - you'll definitely come back🥰🥰🥰

We were visiting and spontaneously picked up something here shortly before the store closed. The food was very lovingly prepared, the vegetables were incredibly fresh and crunchy, and the salads (not in the photo) were also very tasty. Insane price-performance ratio. Also great service on site. We'll definitely come back when we're in town again. Absolute recommendation!

Food are so delicious and it used to be my fave place to eat. These day the service kinda rushed and annoying... you can't eat queitly because they always come and check ( other word than reminder for you ) that your time to sit there are limited. Its very annoying cause one of my friend come late and the waiter took her plate while she tried to eat her last sushi!! very rude!! netherless the food is always very good. its just if youwanna stay longer than 2 hours to enjoy your meal and talk with some friend... Its not a place to be...

I can’t really describe it (in a good way), I‘ve been going to this restaurant since waay back (2019/2020ish basically during it’s opening. The food and service is toptier!!! I‘m so glad that I‘ve become a regular here and that most or if not all of the employees recognize me <3 I recommend getting the Bangkokbaby and the tokyo yuzu. Bangkokbaby has a very flavorful taste (which I like) as it’s seasoned well. While Tokyo Yuzu has a refreshing yet sour (not too strong) taste. I would like to thank the whole team again for giving me the best experience whenever I/ my family am around. Many love, One of your dear regulars <3

The Kokoro in Nuremberg not only impresses with delicious food, but also with exceptional service. The staff are incredibly courteous and helpful - you feel welcome from the first moment. The atmosphere is pleasant and every dish is prepared with great attention to detail. A real highlight for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine.

The rooms are very nice and modern, only the distance to the next table could be larger, but that is a matter of opinion. The service staff is very friendly and spontaneously decorated the table for a friend who was celebrating her birthday and served a little surprise after the meal.

The taste of the food is no different than that of other sushi shops, which is why it's excellent. But it tastes good, hence 3 stars. 4 if everything wasn't priced so high. Too bad! The ambience is really loud. It's a beautiful backdrop, but there are a lot of people in a very small space, you have to shout at you to understand each other and you're constantly visually and auditorily overstimulated. The fact that you can also see the outside area through the glass front, where people walk past, just gave me the rest. The service is ok. This is noted as one of the top rated sushi places in Nuremberg. I felt the service was rather authentic and was excellent. The atmosphere is hip fun and loud but not bad at all. Kind of a perfect loud that brings good energy. Hidden away gives you the feel you found a secret spot. They had a hot wine for us as we had to wait outside for our table for 5 or so minutes. It was so cold but the hot wine helped. No big deal. The food was the area of most important and it was overall very good. . I felt sushi Glas ( which I understand is now closed) was better with a larger variety of food options and it was my personal favorite. Some great appetizer dishes and solid sushi make this a place I would go to for sure.

A wonderful restaurant - stylish and yet extremely cozy. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the large vegetarian offering. For the first time, I didn't feel like I was limited to the usual "boring cucumber nigiris." Instead, I was able to enjoy a beautifully prepared plate full of creative, colorful sushi variations - all purely vegetarian, some even vegan. An absolute delight! And best of all: the prices were more than fair.

At first I didn't like the service because the girl forgot me at the bar, however the waiter NAME was excellent, we spoke in English, he was kind enough, he brought a chopstick with an elastic band to help with handling, the misoshiro and the carpaccio were delicious... really a treat. good professional who made a difference. I was in restaurant for the first but the begging wasn't good because the professionals forgot alone, I felt lost but after the weather NAME found me and gave me by attention and helped me to handle with chopsticks and he checked all the times if needed something. The food was fantastic too

The food was an absolute 10 out of 10, it tasted really fresh and delicious. The cucumber and elderberry lemonade from the autumn menu was also great, I've never had anything like it before. The price-performance ratio is great. We had the salmon and chicken from the main course menu, as well as vegetarian gyoza and the fried salmon skin sushi rolls. All the service employees were also really friendly. If I'm in Nuremberg again, I would definitely come back!

The food was very good and the service was very attentive and friendly. What I didn't like were the long, narrow tables where you sat like chickens on a perch. Unfortunately, it was also very loud due to the many guests in a small space. But the food was really great and we were also given an explanation of what such a dish entails.
