Wir waren im Kokono Restaurant in Ingolstadt und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich, der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Alles war frisch zubereitet, schön angerichtet und die Auswahl war wirklich überzeugend. Man fühlt sich dort direkt wohl und kann den Abend entspannt genießen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Kokono absolut weiterempfehlen!

Ich gehe dort so gern essen. Es ist immer lecker. Immer ein lieber Service und das Lokal hat ein tolles Ambiente.

Die Suppe als Vorspeise und das Sushi als Hauptgericht waren sehr lecker

Ambiente: Weckt einem sein Interesse 4 von 5 man bekommt was zusehen. Service: Auf Absprache dass man das essen gleichzeitig verzehren möge wurde es trotzdem versetzt Serviert, Bezahlung wie Getränke und essen kamen in abnehmbarer Zeit. Essen: Sushi waren genüsslich (Frittiert) Getränke wir hatten 2 Cocktails waren genüsslich Hühnchen mit Kokos einer ihrer Spezialitäten war fade nicht gut gewürzt und Salz hat gefehlt. Preislich: War es hinnehmbar 50€ für alles. Resultat: Einen dauerhaften Besuch ist es nicht wert aber einmal Probieren kann man machen

Positiv: sehr gutes Essen, schneller Service bei Erstbestellung. Negativ: trotz Reservierung 15 Minuten Wartezeit in der Schlange, obwohl viele Tische frei waren; möchte man zusätzlich etwas bestellen, kann es mitunter schwierig sein, den Service auf sich aufmerksam zu machen.

Essen ist eigentlich gut. Warum muss man telefonisch reservieren und soll sein Essen zum abholen telefonisch bestellen, wenn keiner ans Telefon geht?

So sollte ein Restaurantbesuch sein. Sehr freundlicher Service, angenehmes Ambiete, leckere Gerichte die toll angerichtet werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Qualität des Essens ist teilweise unterirdisch. Das Fleisch ist zäh und nicht gut zubereitet. Bei einem Curry mit Gemüse erwartet man mehr Gemüse und mehr Variation. Wer schon mal in Asien war wird hier meiner Meinung nach enttäuscht.

Wir waren einmal außerhalb der Stoßzeit im Restaurant und sehr zufrieden, sowohl mit dem Essen als auch mit dem Service. Das zweite Mal war trotz Reservierung eine Woche im Voraus kein Tisch für uns bereit. Die Mitarbeiterin war dazu sehr unfreundlich und meinte nur, dann hätte ich am Telefon wohl die Reservierungsnummer falsch verstanden, das wäre ja nicht ihre Schuld und sie könnte da nichts machen. Namen oder Telefonnummern notieren sie nicht. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob Sie nicht bitte nach dem entsprechenden reservierten Zeitslot und der Anzahl der Personen schauen könnte um dann zu sehen welcher Tisch unserer sein müsste, reagierte Sie sehr unfreundlich. Wir wurden dann mitsamt unserer gehbehinderten Mutter unwirsch zur Seite geschoben, mit der patzigen Aussage, wenn wir warten, können wir vielleicht einen Tisch für 50min haben. Fehler passieren, aber Kunden unfreundlich zu behandeln, weil das "Reservierungssystem", welches aus ein paar zugeschmierten Zetteln besteht, fehlerhaft ist, ist einfach unzumutbar. Wir sind dann in ein anderes asiatisches Restaurant in der Nähe gegangen, wo wir sehr freundlich behandelt wurden und ausgezeichnet gegessen haben.

Leider funktioniert die Reservierung von Tischen wohl nicht wirklich, da heute nicht nur wir, trotz Reservierung, keinen Platz erhalten haben. Zudem war die Mitarbeiterin sehr unfreundlich, Kundenbindung geht anders. Schade, wir hatten uns bereits fast eine Woche vorher um einen Tisch gekümmert. Wir sind in ein anderes asiatisches Restaurant und wurden dort sehr gastfreundlich empfangen und haben erstklassige Speisen genossen!

Sehr leckeres Essen und zudem ein super nettes Personal. Mein Kumpel hat sogar eine Kleinigkeit zu seinem 40. Geburtstag bekommen. In diesem Sinne, nochmal Alles Gute zum 40. Gery !

The food was absolutely amazing! Superb quality, exceptionally well presented. The portions were more than ample. Service was a bit slow, but still acceptable. We had a table by the window, which was unfortunately quite cold; I had to hold my jacket up. We ordered the platters for three people. In short... we'll definitely be back. We were thrilled! 😊

Today, the four of us (two adults, a 10-year-old, and a 5-year-old) went to the all-you-can-eat buffet. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Some of the sushi was very hard, dry, and not at all fresh—more like chewing gum. As a result, we didn't eat much overall, just a few spring rolls, a little bit of sushi to try, some noodles, and three small pieces of cake. It was our first time there, so we specifically called ahead to ask about the prices for children. We were told: 5-year-old: €7 10-year-old: €12 Adults: approx. €25–30 Despite this, we ended up having to pay almost €100 (€98). For the quality of the food and considering we had two small children with us, this was far too expensive and didn't match the prices quoted beforehand at all. I would have preferred fresher food and transparent pricing. For us, it was unfortunately not good value for money.

I was there with my companion at 6 pm. Reservations are definitely recommended, as all the parking spaces were already taken. The restaurant's ambiance is truly impressive and modern. We were served immediately, both when checking in and when taking our orders. We ordered a mixed appetizer for two. It was nicely presented and tasted okay, but at around €10.50 per person, it was overpriced. Furthermore, I could only eat two of the dishes with difficulty, or not at all, because they were very spicy. As far as I remember, this wasn't mentioned on the menu. But I don't want to point fingers. I ordered the sushi menu number 4. Again, it was attractively presented, and the wait time was perfectly reasonable. After serving, there was a little show effect with dry ice (?) in a cup, which swirled around the plates. My sushi menu cost around €20. I also had a small bottle of water and a passion fruit cocktail, which was really delicious. All in all, the visit was okay, but unfortunately, the value for money wasn't right for me. The location was great, but the noise level was quite high. Conversations were still possible with some concentration. The menu as a whole was okay, but nothing outstanding and overpriced. The service, the staff, and the friendliness, however, were very good. Dining there is an experience in itself; I wouldn't order sushi or go to another restaurant just to fill up.

The open kitchen is nice, but your clothes smell like food afterwards.

Nice ambiance. I had Thai curry with crispy chicken, but I wouldn't eat meat there again.

At first, we really enjoyed eating here, and the food was always very good. Unfortunately, the last few times it hasn't been so great. Either something was forgotten, like spring rolls, or it simply wasn't brought. The duck was tough and tasteless last time, mushy, just kind of mushy. I've been increasingly disappointed with Kokono these last few times. I don't know if we'll come again.

The food was incredibly fresh and prepared to perfection. We chose a starter and a main course, but we were already quite full after the starter ;-) The papaya salad with octopus was amazing. The restaurant was busy and, unfortunately, incredibly loud. The service was friendly, but you get the feeling you have to be quick. Even the plates were already being picked up while others were still eating.

Have been here multiple times. Reservation is highly recommended. Food is flavourful. My friends loved the food as well.

A little insider tip: the Konos soup with chicken. (Perfect for soup lovers) The atmosphere is very cozy. It exudes a sense of calm. The sushi is very tasty and very fresh. The staff are all courteous and very friendly. Highly recommended for a cozy evening for two, or with family and friends.

A restaurant that not only looks great inside, but also serves delicious food. The homemade lemonade is also a culinary delight. The prices are typical for the city. Not cheap, but still affordable. Nevertheless, the food was worth every cent. Whether it was sushi or a meal, it was beautifully presented and, as I said, extremely delicious.

As of June 2025 Drinks €7-9 Sushi from €4 to €20 Salads and steak dishes around €20 Very nice ambiance, but often quite noisy due to the high ceilings and lack of room dividers. The staff is friendly but sometimes doesn't speak German very well. But it's usually sufficient for the basics.

Always delicious whenever we're in IN. It's right by the Westpark roundabout, but it's still pretty quiet, even outside. The food is always top-notch, especially the set menus for two or three people. A few starters first, and everyone is happy.

We think it's the best sushi in Ingolstadt. The spring rolls are also delicious. The atmosphere is great – unfortunately, the noise level is usually quite loud. Call in the evening or, better yet, reserve a table.

I ate here with my girlfriend a few days ago. I had the curry, she had the fried salmon sushi, and salmon maki. The maki tasted fresh and pleasant. The fried sushi roll was overall rather satisfactory. It was too moist and mushy on the inside. Crispy on the outside, but not coated enough. The chicken curry was by far the worst curry I've ever eaten in my life. It tasted disgusting. There was no trace of the curry. I only tasted the coconut milk. From the very beginning, I was met with a foul but faint odor. Later, I found out it was the pineapple (possibly from last week). Especially since I'm wondering what pineapple is doing in a curry. The vegetables were okay, but still too hard. The chicken wasn't fresh from the butcher/supplier either, but much more from Metro. I did eat half of the curry, but only because I didn't want to waste the money. Overall, a complete failure. I won't be eating here again. It's not a good date spot, but more of a date spot!

Good, free parking in front of the door. Varied menu. Ate a business lunch. Friendly staff. Attractive, modern decor. Drafty, with doors and windows open everywhere. Business lunch, €12.90, duck, meager portions, and the food merely lukewarm. Reordered rice, cost €2, but still meager. Duck was flabby, tough, and lukewarm. Cold drinks: Mango spritzer 0.4 liters, €5.20. The quality and service here don't match; the vegetables, etc., on the plate tasted good. The background music, in my opinion, was very distracting. Unfortunately, I didn't get full.

Extremely good food and perfectly cooked dishes make up for a few negative aspects. Far too expensive and a small portion that didn't taste good, never again.

The atmosphere is chic and the staff was nice. However, I now come to the point why I cannot recommend the restaurant. The large appetizer plate for 2 people is recommended on the grounds that you can try a variety of things because they are included. (cost 20€) You end up with a plate that really only has two fried shrimp and 20 bean sticks. That was really extremely disappointing and we felt like we were being ripped off. In the end we paid €50 per person and no one was really full. Conclusion: the food is good, but you don't get much for your money.

So I wouldn't call it a restaurant, the tables are so close that you have absolutely no privacy. As always in Asian restaurants, I ordered a sake, of course I didn't look at the price because it usually costs around 6-7 euros per pot, but I only got 0.4cl, when I saw the price I almost had a fit 8.50€ for a masher😤 of the sack taste how should I describe it, sour taste like stomach acids. In other restaurants, 250 grams of steak fills you up, but here I left hungry. Conclusion: Sitting at the table with strangers, throwing €85 for two people out the window, staying hungry, and all the clothes smelled like food from the kitchen. I'll never go there again, and if the owner complains to Google about this comment, I'll do everything I can to keep it here forever.

Short update back then: Kokono was our favorite sushi restaurant for a really long time. We were there many times! A while ago, however, it mutated into pure food-making. You only get a table for 90 minutes in the evening. Because it's extremely crowded (you can't actually have a conversation) you have to wait a long time. This means you have less time to eat, which the waitress doesn't care about. She came anyway and asked us to pay then (10 minutes before the time was up) because the next guests were already waiting for their table. I've watched it twice now and well, I was so annoyed that we're not going anymore. (Incidentally, one of these was our Christmas party with 15 people). I called them again and asked if they now only make reservations for 90 minutes and the answer was "Yes. That's how we do it..." I don't have anything more to say about it. Yes, the sushi is good, but everything else around it is really disturbing! At that time: Ambiance is quite nice, just a bit overcrowded at the tables. The volume when it is full accordingly. (1 star deducted for that reason). Since we had reserved for a later hour, we were able to have a better chat when it became emptier. The food was very good. We only had sushi, including a starter, and we especially want to mention the sushi rice positively. It is very well coordinated!

This was my second time at Kokono and I was really disappointed this time. The first time everything was great, tasted good and I was there with a friend. However, on Saturday, the second time I was there with friends, I noticed 5 hours after eating it that it wasn't doing my stomach any good (my friend felt the same way). We were completely flat on Sunday (1 day later).

I was there with friends at 5pm on a Saturday. Service itself is great and was really quick, even though the restaurant was very full. From previous visits I knew what to expect, but unfortunately this time I was totally disappointed. The food was very tasty, except for the tuna, which simply didn't taste fresh because there were few, somewhat hard spots. A few hours after the stay, I was plagued by severe stomach cramps and nausea. The next day I was completely flat. It's a bit of a shame because Kokono has been one of my favorite restaurants in Ingolstadt so far. I definitely won't be visiting this store anytime soon.

Overall we were unfortunately disappointed... The sushi was tasty, the edamame were ok (sometimes a bit hard) but the papaya salad with octopus was inedible. The quality of the octopus was poor in my opinion. The prices are unjustifiably high. Most main courses just under €30… At the end, when we were asked if everything was tasty, we also kindly pointed out that the octopus wasn't tasty. This was simply canceled, there was neither a discount nor any attention from the kitchen, which we would have been happy about given the high bill and poor price performance. The interior is nice, but it doesn't make up for the shortcomings. It was definitely our last visit.

Otherwise you have to look for a restaurant like this with a great price-performance ratio, it's true here. Nice staff with little shows during the food service. Great preparation of a wide variety of Asian food components. A great coordination of different cooking points and flavors with the right spices is necessary. A must for friends of Asian and international gastronomy. Here, high-quality products are further refined into various flavor compositions. The food in the restaurant was simply excellent! The sushi was delicious and incredibly fresh. The quality of the ingredients was convincing and the taste was excellent. An all-round great experience that I would happily recommend!
