I ate here with my girlfriend a few days ago. I had the curry, she had the fried salmon sushi, and salmon maki. The maki tasted fresh and pleasant. The fried sushi roll was overall rather satisfactory. It was too moist and mushy on the inside. Crispy on the outside, but not coated enough. The chicken curry was by far the worst curry I've ever eaten in my life. It tasted disgusting. There was no trace of the curry. I only tasted the coconut milk. From the very beginning, I was met with a foul but faint odor. Later, I found out it was the pineapple (possibly from last week). Especially since I'm wondering what pineapple is doing in a curry. The vegetables were okay, but still too hard. The chicken wasn't fresh from the butcher/supplier either, but much more from Metro. I did eat half of the curry, but only because I didn't want to waste the money. Overall, a complete failure. I won't be eating here again. It's not a good date spot, but more of a date spot!

Good, free parking in front of the door. Varied menu. Ate a business lunch. Friendly staff. Attractive, modern decor. Drafty, with doors and windows open everywhere. Business lunch, €12.90, duck, meager portions, and the food merely lukewarm. Reordered rice, cost €2, but still meager. Duck was flabby, tough, and lukewarm. Cold drinks: Mango spritzer 0.4 liters, €5.20. The quality and service here don't match; the vegetables, etc., on the plate tasted good. The background music, in my opinion, was very distracting. Unfortunately, I didn't get full.

The atmosphere is chic and the staff was nice. However, I now come to the point why I cannot recommend the restaurant. The large appetizer plate for 2 people is recommended on the grounds that you can try a variety of things because they are included. (cost 20€) You end up with a plate that really only has two fried shrimp and 20 bean sticks. That was really extremely disappointing and we felt like we were being ripped off. In the end we paid €50 per person and no one was really full. Conclusion: the food is good, but you don't get much for your money.

So I wouldn't call it a restaurant, the tables are so close that you have absolutely no privacy. As always in Asian restaurants, I ordered a sake, of course I didn't look at the price because it usually costs around 6-7 euros per pot, but I only got 0.4cl, when I saw the price I almost had a fit 8.50€ for a masher😤 of the sack taste how should I describe it, sour taste like stomach acids. In other restaurants, 250 grams of steak fills you up, but here I left hungry. Conclusion: Sitting at the table with strangers, throwing €85 for two people out the window, staying hungry, and all the clothes smelled like food from the kitchen. I'll never go there again, and if the owner complains to Google about this comment, I'll do everything I can to keep it here forever.

Short update back then: Kokono was our favorite sushi restaurant for a really long time. We were there many times! A while ago, however, it mutated into pure food-making. You only get a table for 90 minutes in the evening. Because it's extremely crowded (you can't actually have a conversation) you have to wait a long time. This means you have less time to eat, which the waitress doesn't care about. She came anyway and asked us to pay then (10 minutes before the time was up) because the next guests were already waiting for their table. I've watched it twice now and well, I was so annoyed that we're not going anymore. (Incidentally, one of these was our Christmas party with 15 people). I called them again and asked if they now only make reservations for 90 minutes and the answer was "Yes. That's how we do it..." I don't have anything more to say about it. Yes, the sushi is good, but everything else around it is really disturbing! At that time: Ambiance is quite nice, just a bit overcrowded at the tables. The volume when it is full accordingly. (1 star deducted for that reason). Since we had reserved for a later hour, we were able to have a better chat when it became emptier. The food was very good. We only had sushi, including a starter, and we especially want to mention the sushi rice positively. It is very well coordinated!

This was my second time at Kokono and I was really disappointed this time. The first time everything was great, tasted good and I was there with a friend. However, on Saturday, the second time I was there with friends, I noticed 5 hours after eating it that it wasn't doing my stomach any good (my friend felt the same way). We were completely flat on Sunday (1 day later).

I was there with friends at 5pm on a Saturday. Service itself is great and was really quick, even though the restaurant was very full. From previous visits I knew what to expect, but unfortunately this time I was totally disappointed. The food was very tasty, except for the tuna, which simply didn't taste fresh because there were few, somewhat hard spots. A few hours after the stay, I was plagued by severe stomach cramps and nausea. The next day I was completely flat. It's a bit of a shame because Kokono has been one of my favorite restaurants in Ingolstadt so far. I definitely won't be visiting this store anytime soon.

Overall we were unfortunately disappointed... The sushi was tasty, the edamame were ok (sometimes a bit hard) but the papaya salad with octopus was inedible. The quality of the octopus was poor in my opinion. The prices are unjustifiably high. Most main courses just under €30… At the end, when we were asked if everything was tasty, we also kindly pointed out that the octopus wasn't tasty. This was simply canceled, there was neither a discount nor any attention from the kitchen, which we would have been happy about given the high bill and poor price performance. The interior is nice, but it doesn't make up for the shortcomings. It was definitely our last visit.

Otherwise you have to look for a restaurant like this with a great price-performance ratio, it's true here. Nice staff with little shows during the food service. Great preparation of a wide variety of Asian food components. A great coordination of different cooking points and flavors with the right spices is necessary. A must for friends of Asian and international gastronomy. Here, high-quality products are further refined into various flavor compositions. Second visit: We reserved a table today on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we joined a queue. We stood there in the steam from the deep fryers for fifteen minutes. Nobody talked to us or the people in front of us. It just didn't happen. At least we had a good view of the dining room. Nothing was happening at many tables. However, orders were taken out of the house. After more than a quarter of an hour we left. Too bad! First visit: We really enjoyed the evening here today. Great food, the best sashimi, delicious sushi and light, original cocktails. The somewhat worn cards and the not so comfortable bench without a backrest lead to a star deduction in the otherwise absolutely harmonious and stylishly cozy ambience. The service is not only quick but also extremely friendly. We'll definitely be back!

With friendly service, the guest will find a variety of dishes from starters to main courses such as typical sushi or typical Japanese warm dishes, bols, which the menu offers in a variety of ways, as well as typical local sweet dishes that suit every palate and lack freshness and precise cooking Leave nothing to be desired, in addition to the spectacular presentation of the above-mentioned dishes, which promise enjoyment just by looking at them! As a rule, you don't have to worry about parking spaces; the parking spaces available in front of the house and the general area should be available in sufficient numbers if you reserve in time! Incredibly beautiful facility. Excellent food and super friendly staff. Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the Ingolstadt area. Prices are all still quite reasonable but still okay, although the portions are also very large. There are definitely enough parking spaces because you can easily park in front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food was only served lukewarm, which is a no-go in Asian cuisine. Even the rice wasn't even warm. And there wasn't much going on at that point.

I had a bad experience today because I ate a Vietnamese soup at lunchtime as usual, which is usually always offered at the lunch price. I was now served the same soup from the daily menu and charged the standard price. Unfortunately, a response to my advice was not accepted and I still had to pay the higher price. This is a rip off for me and I won't be visiting this store again!!

After a long wait, I asked for a menu myself and on Sunday at 8.45 p.m. they said the kitchen was closed and without any further apology or comment the staff left and the guest was left sitting there like “nothing”. That was my first and last visit! Greetings to the management of the restaurant.

A lot of emphasis is placed on optics here! If you like it fancy, this is the right place! Overall, the restaurant looks classy, ​​modern and high quality. Everything is nice and newly polished to a high shine! Ambience looks great styled with a black and gold look! Personally, I find it a bit too cluttered and a bit too much “going on”. One gets the impression that masses are being fed, albeit in a classy manner. Food was delicious and well prepared. We don't really need the smoke from dry ice, it's more confusing. The appearance and quality are then reflected in the price. Edamame for €5.90 is normal, but the amount I know is twice as much... at least in Augsburg. But Audi & Airbus rule here. 10 pieces of Tempura Vegie Sushi for €12.90 okay! Rice with beef for €22 and wheat for €5.50 packs a punch. If you don't mind the prices, the restaurant is a good choice if you're a sushi fan!

When we spontaneously wanted to go to this Asian restaurant for the first time, we were told by phone twice in a row that we should come in half an hour because the restaurant was full but there were seats available. After an hour we arrived and in the end there were no seats available and we waited for nothing. On the second visit with an appointment, it worked. The atmosphere inside is not very pleasant. Even though the restaurant is nicely decorated and has an Asian style, with an open kitchen, it was very noisy. You could barely hear your partner. The tables are very close together, you felt squashed and it was very darkly lit. I had a surprise sushi plate for dinner, which was beautifully presented, but the sushi was worse than expected and the taste was not good. Besides, it was a bit small. For dessert there was mochi, which wasn't anything special. I've had better mochi. The service didn't seem very attentive to me, but it was ok. I would prefer other Asian restaurants in the area.

Unfortunately very disappointed. We gave up our regular Asian Golden Dragon to try something new. Unfortunately the staff wasn't really interested in the service. It was all very impersonal because the restaurant was full and the wait staff had a lot to do. It is absolutely unacceptable that some of the staff in the kitchen and behind the bar are working without masks, even as Corona numbers are rising! My dish No. 15 Horenso & Truflle is available as a starter (vegan) and as a main course (vegetarian) for 14.90 euros each. When I asked if the main course would fill me up, I was told it was a large portion. I received the dish as described. However, it didn't taste like truffles and I definitely won't get full from a handful of baby spinach leaves. Charging 14.90 euros for this is unjustifiably overpriced. I was still hungry and there was no interest in offering me the Tempura Vegie T63 as a half portion to fill me up. I told the service staff all of this, the masks were put on briefly and taken off again after 5 minutes. They felt the price for No. 15 was justified. Maybe the price-performance ratio is better for the other dishes and you'll get full from them. However, I have no interest in visiting Kokono again if the hygiene regulations are not even adhered to in a publicly visible kitchen and there is no interest in customer satisfaction. I'd rather go back to the golden dragon.

We really liked it! The ambience and furnishings of the Kokono Ingolstand are very attractive, bright and friendly. The staff really attentive and polite. The food was beautifully presented and we all enjoyed it. Any intolerances have been pointed out. Everyone can decide for themselves whether they need the steam... the important thing is that it doesn't bother you and looks somehow casual :-) We like coming here.

I've enjoyed eating there so far. Today I happened to be walking past the store after exercise (McFit) and saw an employee preparing an ingredient in an aluminum bowl on the bench outside with a cigarette in his mouth. It should probably be wasabi, green powder and water. With the current pollen count, this is probably a dream for allergy sufferers. It's not made up, there's a video to prove it!

My colleagues chose Kokono as their after-work dinner, but unfortunately, as a vegan, I didn't get my money's worth. The ambience is nice, no question, but if you're vegan you should stay away here: the dishes are labeled inconsistently, you have to be prepared for allergen guesswork, and in the end you can't even be sure that you're really being served the vegan option In general, the service seemed quite overwhelmed, not very open and not solution-oriented. The allergens are indicated by letters in the physical map, but there is no legend to assign them. What does allergen B mean if it isn't explained anywhere? The allergens are provided online in the menu, but apparently wrong, because according to it, all vegetarian dishes contain shellfish 😅 When we ordered we were assured that the vegetarian option could also be made vegan. My colleague then received her supposedly vegan meal and 10 minutes later the waiter came back to say that it wasn't vegan and that her food would be coming soon... Plus it really didn't taste good to us. The tofu in all the vegan dishes was super soggy and unseasoned, it lacked depth of flavor and the combination was unloving for me. In my opinion, unfortunately: outside yuck, inside yuck.
