Delicious food and friendly staff! We've been here several times and will gladly come again.

A small, lovely restaurant serving Asian cuisine, from simple spring rolls and soups to sushi. The food was excellent, the sushi was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and quite efficient.

Super friendly staff. The Vietnamese cuisine was very well cooked and beautifully presented. We were the only guests on a Sunday evening at 9 pm. Despite that, it was very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Koi… We need to talk. December 2025. New chance, new evening – and I'll say it straight away: Koi has delivered. After my last visit in October, I was skeptical. A restaurant that was once my undisputed number one had noticeably lost its edge. Smaller portions, less finesse, a hint of a slow burn in the otherwise so passionate kitchen. It hurt because I knew what this team was actually capable of. And then this evening. Even upon walking in, it was clear: Something had changed. The staff was as friendly as ever, but somehow more present. The menu had been revised, more coherent, more focused. No chaotic jumble, but clear decisions. You could tell immediately: Someone had been listening. The food? Back on track. The sushi was once again precise, something I had missed. The summer rolls were finally full of life again, instead of just air. And the curry—my personal benchmark—tastes as if the kitchen has rediscovered its passion for what it's capable of. No tired routine, just the same old ambition. Throughout the meal, I thought several times: This is exactly how I remember this restaurant. And this is exactly how I want it to be again. It's not a given that a restaurant will accept criticism and actually implement it. Many dismiss it, some even take it personally, but Koi has clearly chosen the path that truly matters: getting better. Today, it's five stars again. Not out of nostalgia, but because they are well-deserved. Koi is back—and so am I. Sincerely, Byron Ison.

I found the sushi very tasty. I deducted one point for the edamame; the chili salt made them too spicy for me, but that's always a matter of personal taste. The food was nicely presented and, considering the restaurant was packed that evening, it arrived quickly. The service was friendly. I also deducted a point for the ambiance, as the noise level was quite high when it was full. However, in my opinion, this is unfortunately the case in most restaurants these days. The price-performance ratio was good. I would eat here again.

There were seven of us eating here, and we tried a wide variety of dishes from the menu. There really was something for everyone, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied with the taste! I personally had the "Bun Bo Nam Bo" with Argentinian beef tenderloin. I'm usually skeptical about beef because it's often not prepared well, but here it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The appetizers were also fantastic, and we'll definitely be back!

We had reserved a table for two and arrived on time. Nevertheless, we had to wait over 20 minutes for a seat, while other guests who arrived later were apparently given priority and seated more quickly. When we asked, we were simply told that it would take a while. After more than 20 minutes, we left. I think it's a shame that they didn't inform us immediately if a table wasn't available. This is very disappointing for guests and could have been avoided.

Excellent sushi, lovingly prepared and truly delicious. We had the "sushi menu for four" and were served extremely friendly from start to finish by the restaurant's owner himself. The homemade lemonade was also delicious! Definitely recommend this place anytime.

The food is a 10/10. Both the sushi (value for money) and the hot dishes and appetizers are fantastic. The service is also fantastic; I've never experienced a situation where, when the food isn't ready when I pick it up, I'm offered a drink. It's on the house, of course. We can wholeheartedly recommend Koi Sushi.

Even though we arrived at Koi during rush hour, we were offered a nice table near the front. It all happened in seconds and without hesitation. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast throughout the evening. The food was divine. Tuna sushi this good is rare in Bremen (and it's much closer to the saltwater). Next time, I'll treat myself to tuna sashimi. My mango curry was delicious. The fresh mangoes were very tasty and intense. Overall, the sauce was too sweet for me, but that's my problem, not the kitchen's! My wife had red curry with beef. The sauce was divine! I'll have that next time. We were too full for dessert... Koi is definitely more than recommended for lovers of Asian cuisine. We'll definitely be back during my wife's rehab!

Food is, of course, a matter of taste, but this sushi place can't be topped. We tried for a long time to find an alternative to see if it's really as good. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a comparable sushi restaurant in the area. Here, the food, the reasonable price, and the staff are all just right. My wife and I have been regular customers here since 2023 and have never been disappointed.

We love it here. Whether it's a Saturday lunch with the boys for a four-person platter (a visual masterpiece, by the way), or a dinner with your partner. The service is so friendly that you almost feel guilty ordering your fourth sake. Fresh sushi of a quality that was probably blessed by the sea itself as it was rolled up. Sometimes I really want to cry when the first piece of nigiri touches my tongue – this explosion of flavor, texture, and "I need another, right now!" Every bite is like a mini spa vacation for the palate, only without the towel war. And anyone who thinks sushi is "just rice with fish" probably also thought that a Smarties ice cream at the kiosk replaces a three-course meal. In short: Eating here = instant happiness level over 9000. 🍣🥢

After a long time, I finally managed to eat here. I was here for lunch today and shared the sushi mittgasanbegot with a friend. We each also had the chicken pad thai. We both thought it would be made with crispy chicken, as it said on the menu. However, it was "just" regular chicken. Nevertheless, both the sushi and the pad thai were delicious and the special offer was really good value for money. I'd love to come back and try more dishes.

Three of us went to Koi for lunch today and were thrilled. The first thing you notice is how lovingly and beautifully all the dishes are presented—a real feast for the eyes! I especially loved how easily my sushi was adapted to be vegan. Since everything is freshly prepared, it wasn't a problem at all. The meat dishes also looked colorful and fresh and tasted very good. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, and the server was very attentive, friendly, and quick, without being intrusive. With appetizers and a drink each, the three of us paid around €90. Absolutely fair for the quality and service. We'll definitely be back! :)

We were in town as day guests and had a very good meal here. The sushi was really very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We sat outside because the bus stop is in front of the door, so the restaurant couldn't do anything about it and wasn't that bothersome. The toilets are located down a flight of stairs in the basement, so if you're not good on foot it might be difficult. However, there are handrails available on both sides. Overall, we were very satisfied and would happily eat there again at any time. Thanks!

I ate at Koi during a short vacation in Bad Salzuflen, and it was incredibly delicious! The hot tea is made with fresh fruit and herbs, which are poured directly into the cup—no tea bags or anything like that—and tastes better than the tea we usually drink in the West. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, the staff exceptionally friendly, and I will definitely eat there again when I'm back in town! The restaurant is very busy; I reserved a table just in case, and I was very glad I did!

You call, you make a reservation, you go there and they say you have to wait now because there is no space available. What's that supposed to mean? Why do you make a reservation if you really don't notice it? But besides that, food was delicious
