People like to pull off drunk or rather drunk people, the last time they ordered a steak to take away and what did they get was pasta worth €25 So be careful not to pay straight away but have it shown first And the boss hardly lets you talk to him and when he does he says leave!!! We celebrated our wedding in the Kohlpott and were very satisfied all around! The planning was problem-free and flexible. On the day itself the service was top notch and the food was delicious.

The cabbage pot has developed into a really beautiful piece of jewelry over the years. Lots of great events, great food and beautiful outdoor areas to linger.

Everything is wonderful. As a vegan person, I am never judged or looked at stupidly for extra requests and it always tastes good. My recommendation: vegan fried potatoes. They are super delicious :) I can also recommend the vegan options on the menu. Overall, the Kohlpott is a great club. The atmosphere outside is very nice and pleasant. Already passed it 100 times and went in for the first time yesterday. Why now? Yes, I'm wondering now too. Very great food, really nice people and a rustic atmosphere.

We were there with several people because our mother was celebrating her 90th birthday and invited everyone to dinner. We can't say anything negative about the serving staff, the girls did their job well (at least for us) and were often there to look for drinks. We ordered appetizers, which were delivered quickly. But then we had to wait a long time for the main course. Several times someone has come forward to ask if there is a problem. We were told that we would have to be patient a little longer. Until one of us got a little angry and said that we would be leaving soon if the food didn't come. After an hour the food was finally brought. We also had a child at the table who became angry and restless even after an hour. What we observed was worse: guests who came after us received their food within 15 minutes. When we asked again why many other tables got their food earlier even though they came much later than us, we were told very firmly that we now have to wait, that there were other tables that had been waiting much longer than us! Long story short: the dishes and orders are not processed in order. Adequate waiting times are only possible if you put pressure on employees and threaten to leave. Eating there with children is absolutely NOT recommended! Our 90-year-old mother found it quite unpleasant there and regretted her invitation. In terms of food, it was ok, we liked it and would actually go there again, but due to the extreme waiting time and the high volume inside, as well as the unfair handling of the branches, we would absolutely never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone ! Dear readers of this review: Please go somewhere else, this restaurant is ok in terms of food but the unfair treatment and waiting time is an absolute disgrace. A reasonable apology from the operator is not to be expected, only the specific note: “Now please wait!” There are many good other restaurants in the area. We will definitely share this experience with our friends and definitely let other people know about it.

Walked in and was ignored by 5 waitresses. Then we got a seat next to the counter where you could listen to others reserving a table the whole time you were eating. The food went like this, fried potatoes were greasy and saltless. So the chef is not in love. I'll try again in a few years.

I placed the order via WhatsApp... 3 burgers and 2 fries plus 2 mayo and 1 ketchup. Order acceptance via WhatsApp worked great and a response came quickly. Was able to arrive twenty minutes later for pickup. Was there on time too. Unfortunately, the service person there said that I had ordered 2 schnitzels, 1 burger and 2 fries. They would be ready... Then I had to wait another 25 minutes on site, which wasn't the point... OK, it can happen, but there was only a short apology when paying at the end... At least there should have been a free drink while waiting. It wasn't my fault and would have been nice. It's available in other restaurants too. I also asked about the sauces, but then realized when I got home that there wasn't enough mayo in there. Annoying. Burgers were a little dry, a little more sauce would be great. Otherwise very tasty. The fries were great! Nice and crispy.

Yesterday we had the dubious pleasure of visiting this restaurant and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. The food came outrageously late and our children had to wait over an hour and a half for their meals. Additionally, the room we had reserved was overcrowded with another 30 people, resulting in an uncomfortable confinement. The noise in the restaurant was deafening, destroying any hope of a pleasant conversation. In summary, our visit was a complete disaster. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer much better service. We will definitely not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to others.

There are 2 double bowling alleys for an affordable fee. The food is super delicious. Many dishes on the menu are also available in smaller portions and as vegetarian versions. The staff is very friendly and competent. Since there aren't many bowling alleys around Detmold anymore, I'm very happy that everything is right here 💖

I found it very nice here, what bothered me a bit was the noise level. The food was great and everything was right in terms of price. The waitress was super friendly and often came to the table and asked if there was anything else needed and if everything was OK. He was always consistently friendly, even though the dining room was full to the last seat. If you want to eat here, you must make a reservation in advance. We definitely had a nice evening and definitely plan to have breakfast there again.

I would sum up the ribs with the words “You can do it.” They are solid ribs that are beautifully presented on a wooden board, served discreetly with baguette and sauce. The side dishes must be ordered separately. I had a large baked potato with herb cream. The side dish is also necessary to fill you up. Nevertheless, plenty of fresh ribs are also served. In terms of texture, the ribs are just right for me between fall off the bone and bone gnawing. The ribs are well seasoned and not, as is often the case, drowned in barbecue sauce. Nevertheless, I know ribs that are much better prepared and seasoned for my taste. To the ambience. We sat "around the corner" next to the entrance at a quite small table. Logistically, we had to improvise a bit so that the ribs, sides and drinks fit on the table. In my opinion, the neighboring tables were a bit too close to each other, so when you got up you didn't necessarily have to pay attention to clearing the neighbor's table, but you had to be careful. The service was courteous and attentive. All in all, a nice evening with delicious, but not the best ribs I know.

I had the schnitzel Herrmann and my wife had the cheese schnitzel. Good portions and a good selection. Really very polite staff and a crowded but cozy location. Wir haben im Kohlpöttchen eine runden Geburtstag gefeiert. Vom Vorgespräch bis zur Endreinigung alles bestens gelaufen. Mega leckeres Essen und super Service.

Silvester dort gefeiert. Wie immer super Feier und vielen feierlustigen Gästen. Das Buffet ist nicht zu toppen. Immer wieder gerne !!!! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen , auch wenn nicht Silvester ist .

Eines der letzten guten Lokale in unserer Region. Das Essen ist immer eine Wucht, egal ob Deutsche Küche oder Motto Abend Burger u.s.w. Die Motto Abende sind sind einfach klasse. Gestern dort Silvester mit Freunden gefeiert es war einfach super. Essen, Trinken, Service und die Party. Danke für die schönen Abende bei Euch.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeitsfeier hier im grossen Saal gefeiert. Es war ein unvergesslicher Abend. Die Organisation und die Beratung waren sehr gut und auch inspirierend. Das Essen war unbeschreiblich lecker und das Personal äusserst freundlich. Auch Sonderwünsche stellten keine Probleme dar. Wir hatten das Gefühl, das der Kunde König ist. Als der Burger verspeist war, waren die Pommes noch immer knusprig. Nächstes mal bestellen wir einen Salat dazu, denn der fehlte leider. Ansonsten voll zu empfehlen! 👍

Sehr leckeres Essen und nettes Personal. Wir haben schon öfters vor Ort gegessen und für unsere Hochzeit den Caterings-Service genutzt. Das Gespräch für das Catering lief super und es wurden auch Vorschläge für eine Auswahl an überwiegend vegetarischen Gerichten gemacht. Immer wieder gerne!

Kindergeburtstag platzen gelassen und Kinder noch verhöhnt - „Verbinden Sie doch Ihre nächste Feier (Kindergeburtstag … ) mal mit einer vergnüglich-geselligen Kegelrunde“ - so steht es auf der Homepage. Meine Tochter war dazu eingeladen - vergnüglich war daran aber nichts. Wegen einer (vom Restaurant verschuldeten und bestätigten) Doppelbuchung wurde daraus nichts. Angeboten wurde den Kindern - nach 15 Minuten Warten - lediglich, doch etwas (kostenpflichtig) zu trinken zu bestellen und draußen zu warten. Traurig für das Geburtstagskind und die organisierenden Eltern. Ein Restaurant, dass so mit eigenen Fehlern umgeht und deren Auswirkungen auf Kinder achselzuckend ignoriert, möchte ich nicht mehr besuchen. - Zum Glück hat der Dreierkrug geholfen.

Durch einen Zufall .. also eine Einladung haben wir diese tolle Lokation kennen lernen dürfen. Wir besuchten den KOHLPOTT in der Woche und hatten zum Glück reserviert - unbedingt reserviert, denn es ist immer gut besucht. Leider war der Biergarten voll und unser Tisch drinnen, aber das Ambiente passt drinnen wie draußen. Das Essen ist wirklich gut und reichhaltig, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Preis / Leistung ist stimmig und das Personal sehr qualifiziert und motiviert. Besonders die verschiedenen Biere 🍺 haben mich begeistert. Rund um zufrieden und auf der ToDo-Liste falls ich wieder in der Nähe bin. Daumen hoch ..

Ich hatte heute einen sehr angenehmen Abend mit hervorragendem Essen. Die Stunde und 15 Minuten Wartezeit mögen manchen abschrecken, aber bei rand vollem Haus ist es OK - insbesondere bei der Qualität des Essens. Ich war sehr zufrieden und werde wieder kommen.

Das Schnitzel war wie immer super lecker. Der Nachtisch Vanilleeis mit Cookies und Sahne war ein Reinfall. Die Eispackung war wohl schon länger auf. Zumindest schmeckte das Vanilleeis so. Es war viel zu warm und auf Nachfrage ob man die Tür an welcher wir saßen aufmachen könnte würde gar nicht reagiert. Am schlimmsten war die Lautstärke, da man viel zu viele Menschen auf engen Raum bewirten wollte. Es war so eng dass nicht einmal die Bedienung vorbeikam. Fazit nach 2 Stunden in der Wärme und bei der Lautstärke gefühlt wie in einer Bahnhofshalle: Kopfschmerzen und total k.o. Nie wieder.

Die Beleuchtung war an und die Tür stand offen und der Parkplatz war nicht so voll als wir an einem Dienstag vorbei gefahren sind. Da wir von einigen Leuten gute Rezessionen erfahren haben drehten wir um und hatten geparkt und freuten uns etwas zu essen. Als wir die Gaststätte betraten kläffte uns ein Hund an und es duftete lecker nach Essen an dem Tisch mit ein paar Leuten. Dann wurde uns mitgeteilt das Montag und Dienstag Ruhetag sind. Verärgert sind wir dann wo anders lecker Essen gewesen.

Wir waren heute zum Flammlachs Buffet dort, es gab auch alle Gerichte von der Karte. Ich hatte das Buffet für 28,90€ exklusiv Getränke. Es war der Knaller! Es gab an Beilagen sehr viel Auswahl z.B. Antipasti, Bulgur, Baguette, Wassermelone mit Schafskäse, Pflücksalat mit Mozzarella und Mango( der Oberknaller 😋) uvm. Die warmen Beilagen habe ich wegen der Hitze nur wenig probiert, es war alles sehr lecker! Schupfnudeln, Rosmarinkartoffeln und verschiedene Gemüsesorten. Der Flammlachs war sehr gut , ein rundum perfektes Essen! Alles frisch, mit Liebe und Verstand zubereitet. Service war fix und nett.
