Nice trendy spot, but the vegetarian options were limited. The pasta (vegetarian) was tasty, but the portion could have been larger. Friendly service; ordering is possible in person or via QR code.

The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The service was very friendly and welcoming.

We've been to this city several times and visited various restaurants, but this one particularly impressed us. The interesting and atmospheric loft-style interior immediately won us over. The service and staff were excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything is very clean, the restrooms are immaculately maintained, pleasantly scented, and decorated in a football theme. For football fans, there are four large TVs in the hall, and the tables are arranged so everyone has a good view. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant—whether for a family dinner, a business meeting, or a romantic evening.

Solid restaurant with good food. The atmosphere lives up to its name. "Lounge" describes the interior very well. Good selection of food and drinks. The service was friendly. The only negatives to mention were other guests (but that's not the restaurant's fault 😅) and the damaged menus.

The ambiance was good. Ordering via QR code didn't work well with a group of 8 people. The hamburger was good, but the bun was already pre-made and soft. The side order of 21 small fries (there were so few you could count them) was quite remarkable at €3.50.

We went there for lunch on Saturday and opted for penne with chanterelle mushrooms. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive; she even showed us the weekly specials on her phone right at our table and helped us choose the perfect dish. The food: simply delicious 🤤 and the price is absolutely fair. We absolutely recommend it! We'll definitely be back!

You're willing to pay €20 for a burger with fries (see picture), which is what you get. The size is comparable to a double chilli cheese burger from MCS, which is really sad.

If you're desperately looking for a place to watch football in Germany, you've come to the right place. Great atmosphere, easy ordering, top-notch chef and staff, amazing 🍺 and 😋 food, I had a great time. PS: I also went to the 🏰 after the game 😎

We spontaneously visited Detmold and were thrilled with the restaurant! The burgers were excellent, the service was very friendly, and the ability to order via your phone was new to us! We'd love to go back.

Breakfast on a Friday morning is difficult. After 45 minutes, there was still nothing. It wasn't busy, and no one else had ordered breakfast. The waitress was clearly trying hard and apologized several times. We then walked 50 meters away.

It's difficult to rate. 3 stars is a generous one. The beer tastes good and the ambiance is fantastic. But the waitress wasn't very attentive; there was an entire table of empty glasses, and none of the waiters even asked about them, even though they passed by the table frequently. The biggest drawback, and the reason for this rating, is the food. The portions are ridiculously small, but the prices are astronomical. Price/performance ratio definitely gives this place 1 out of 5 stars.

If I could, I'd give it zero stars. The service on the phone was abysmal. We wanted to come for breakfast with a larger group, but when we briefly asked whether they served a buffet or a menu, they said, "Call a menu," and hung up. So we'll definitely never come.

Great colors (blue, turquoise, velvet) and excellent service in a nearly packed dining room. There was a shy but friendly waitress (about 11 years old🙃) who lit candles beforehand and greeted us with a smile. I assumed our food would take forever... but: we had the menu, drinks, and delicious food in no time... and it was very OK.

It was my first time there and I was impressed by the ambiance, the way you order via QR code, and the service. The wait time was very short, and the burger I ordered was of good quality. The place was busy despite the rain, so I think I'm not alone in my opinion.

The oriental breakfast is very good! Highly recommended! The drinks, such as Aperol Spritz, Sarti Spritz, or Mochito, are far too diluted, making them undrinkable.

We spontaneously stopped by Cosmo for lunch on Wednesday. We received a polite welcome, the service was very friendly and prompt; we didn't have to wait long. Drinks arrived very quickly, and shortly afterward, we had our food. I'm giving the service an extra star; I haven't been served so nicely in a long time!

Cosmo means relaxing outdoor seating, enjoying comfortable and delicious food and drinks. It's always a good idea.

We have often been guests in the Cosmo Lounge. The service was always nice and the food tasted good. Yesterday, for Mother's Day, the breakfast (see photo) was particularly generous and delicate. Thanks for that.

Everything top and nice staff, inexpensive food

You can sit outside on the terrace, there is no menu or drinks menu. This is how you order what you remember. Scanning the QR CODES on the tables usually doesn't work.

Average is really good! Not bad - but not exactly outstanding either. It's completely okay for a coffee, but it was super crowded + loud and the two of us only got a table in the last corner with somewhat uncomfortable chairs.

I loved it here about 20 years ago. The baked potato with vegetables was my absolute highlight. Unfortunately you can no longer visit the Cosmo:Lounge. We were there with 6 people and the service was very bad. Communication is zero. There were different menus and therefore not all dishes were available, which we then probably ordered from the “wrong” menu. Ingredients from the dishes we ordered were missing and when asked we were told that there was a lot going on and they didn't have everything anymore. But I would like to have this kind of information as soon as I order the dish so that I know what to expect. And not just when asked.

A nice atmosphere in itself. However, the service and food leave a lot to be desired. We told the waitress that we had ordered a Coke and a Pepsi and she just replied, "I don't care." The owner was unfriendly right from the start and despite the empty restaurant we had to wait a long time for our food. Fries were rock hard and generally everything was lukewarm. All in all not recommended.

We only ever come here to drink because we know that we will be disappointed when it comes to food. Well today we tried it and it showed us that it won't happen again. The food took 75 minutes to arrive and was still not complete. When I finished my meal my wife still hadn't had her food. (Bruscetta is not rocket science) then I wanted to pay because there was no time left. When we asked the service person about it, all they said was, it's not my fault 🤷🏼‍♂️

Green Kitschen is by far the best shop for breakfast in Gans Detmold. The shop offers a large number of vegetarian dishes as well as hearty non-vegetarian dishes. If you like Arabic cuisine, it is 100% worth checking out, apart from the culinary one The store is very hygienic and the food is freshly prepared. If you're in Detmold or live in Detmold, it's worth it Take a look

The location is of course nice, but the price-performance ratio is simply not right. Sweet potato fries for €9.50, please?! My partner had a bowl, which was very tasty, but much too small. I ordered San Sebastian cheesecake, which had nothing to do with it, but was just a simple frozen cheesecake and was still frozen in the middle. Too bad.

Waited an hour for waffles. The goods were bought and didn't taste good. Price performance underground. Service poor!

Of course worth 5 TOP stars. THE location in Detmold to linger and enjoy. Great service great prices. It is clean and well maintained. Here the customer is still king. Just great.

If you want to eat and/or drink at Cosmo Lounge, you should bring plenty of time. And by that I really mean a lot of time. Because in order to be able to order something you actually have to wait a long time to be served. Serving the order can then take another 40-60 minutes. An example: we ordered 2 cafes. We had to wait 30 minutes just for that. Another time we ordered 4 sandwiches. Serving time approx. 55 minutes. So the restaurant is not recommended at all. The money is in a much better place somewhere else.

Wonderful location, great selection of draft beers, very nice service staff and really good food! Watching football in the restaurant was pure pleasure, the ambience outside with the water and the peace and quiet despite the city center was a dream that was lovingly designed! Highly recommended!

I've honestly never had such a disappointing experience, and even one star is still too much. We were a group of eight people and ordered together. When I was ordering, I spoke to the waiter and asked for a recommendation. He didn't know the dishes himself and seemed annoyed from the start. The impression arose that he simply didn't feel like having guests. The waitress who served our food didn't say a single word as she placed the plates on the table. She didn't even bother to say what dish she brought or who it belonged to. The food was simply left without comment, as if no one cared. After 30 minutes, I was the only person at the table who had not yet received food. None of the staff noticed that everyone else was already eating, except me. When I asked, they said succinctly that my food had been forgotten. Another 20 minutes passed without anything happening. This is just ridiculous. Finally, after a total of 50 minutes, my food arrived. I brought it back and explained to the waiter that I didn't need it anymore. Instead of an apology or an offer, for example to take the coffee off the bill, they just said: "Yes, I forgot that." Truly incredible. In my opinion, such poor service should not occur in the restaurant industry. It is incomprehensible why you would bring food to one person when the rest of the group has already finished coffee and espresso. This shows complete unprofessionalism. That wasn't service, it was just rude, and the employees were also unfriendly. It's just such a shame. And what's more, the restaurant wasn't even full 😂

Well, nothing special, the enchiladas were ok, the rump steak wasn't medium but well done and a bit tough. The service was friendly and the location of the restaurant compensated for a lot. The seating should still be replaced.

4 days Detmold - 4 days Cosmo Lounge My daughter took part in the national junior tennis tournament in Detmold. We arrived in Lemgo on Tuesday evening. Since I know Detmold from my own professional history, I already knew the Cosmo Lounge. So I suggested my daughter to eat there. We weren't disappointed. On the first evening, even though the terrace was full, we were seated and had an excellent meal. The staff at the Cosmo Lounge were always friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable. We went there again on the next evenings, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Never change a winning restaurant! We stayed loyal to the Cosmo Lounge. The menu is very attractive and modern, accessible via a QR code scanner. The selection is varied, some classics have been given a modern interpretation and the names of the dishes are amusing. We really enjoyed all four days in the Cosmo Lounge and can fully recommend it to anyone traveling to Detmold. If we come back to East Westphalia, the Cosmo Lounge will be our first port of call. Thank you for everything!

Nice restaurant but unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, of course it was a bit full but we only ordered pizza, burger fries and a wrap. Good food but unfortunately the organization of the food was terrible!!

We were there on Saturday lunchtime. The seating is old and dilapidated. The service leaves something to be desired. Ashtrays were broken and overfilled. Drinks were lukewarm and the glasses are old and worn. The service employee seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The outside seating is far too close together. Hardly any space to sit comfortably. No current menu or drink menus. Only possible via scan. It's just a shame that not everyone (older generation) has a cell phone that can scan. I was totally disappointed.

Unfortunately, despite reservations, we couldn't find a place.

We had reserved a table for 12 people to watch Germany's European Championship game. After announcing by phone, we arrived 10 minutes after the reserved time and found that the seats had already been released. This is a type of business management that I cannot understand and I would therefore advise anyone not to visit this restaurant.

I was in Detmold for a week. I was there on Monday and was ignored for 45 minutes. Then I got up and left. The incompetent staff looked at me, also served the table next to me, which came much later, and they didn't allow themselves to be disturbed by hand signals. On Wednesday I gave incompetence another chance. That day too, I was ignored by the overwhelmed Generation Z, until the employee behind the counter took pity on me after 20 minutes and asked me if I wanted to order something. The food was served lukewarm. So, I gave it two chances, but you definitely won't find service, competence or great food here.

After enjoying a morning at the nearby museum, we decided to stop by for a quick snack at this charming establishment. The outdoor seating was quite comfortable, perfect for soaking up some sunshine on a nice day. The staff were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our visit. We also had the pleasure of trying some locally brewed beers which were not only delicious but truly added to the overall experience. A must-visit spot for a delightful break during your day!

The Cosmo has really slowed down. The food is just average and the prices are ridiculous. As a comparison, the children's fries portion was slightly cheaper than the side fries portion, but both were the same size, or in this case the same small. The fact that you can only order online, well...

The bar is beautifully decorated, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the cocktails are really tasty.

Nothing going on on Friday evenings after 11 p.m. It's a shame but everything else is good!

The interior is actually divided into three very differently designed areas, but the map applies equally everywhere. I find the plush “café” area in green, blue and gold particularly cozy. The beef enchilada didn't quite match the description on the menu: it came in one piece, folded instead of rolled, and with two different dips. It still tasted good. I also liked that the salad and dips were served in separate bowls. The service was nice and never took long to arrive. However, I observed at two neighboring tables that the food was brought there a few minutes apart. This can happen with a larger group, but not with just two people! And even an unasked first name doesn't go down well with everyone.
