Wonderful location, great selection of draft beers, very nice service staff and really good food! Watching football in the restaurant was pure pleasure, the ambience outside with the water and the peace and quiet despite the city center was a dream that was lovingly designed! Highly recommended!

I've honestly never had such a disappointing experience, and even one star is still too much. We were a group of eight people and ordered together. When I was ordering, I spoke to the waiter and asked for a recommendation. He didn't know the dishes himself and seemed annoyed from the start. The impression arose that he simply didn't feel like having guests. The waitress who served our food didn't say a single word as she placed the plates on the table. She didn't even bother to say what dish she brought or who it belonged to. The food was simply left without comment, as if no one cared. After 30 minutes, I was the only person at the table who had not yet received food. None of the staff noticed that everyone else was already eating, except me. When I asked, they said succinctly that my food had been forgotten. Another 20 minutes passed without anything happening. This is just ridiculous. Finally, after a total of 50 minutes, my food arrived. I brought it back and explained to the waiter that I didn't need it anymore. Instead of an apology or an offer, for example to take the coffee off the bill, they just said: "Yes, I forgot that." Truly incredible. In my opinion, such poor service should not occur in the restaurant industry. It is incomprehensible why you would bring food to one person when the rest of the group has already finished coffee and espresso. This shows complete unprofessionalism. That wasn't service, it was just rude, and the employees were also unfriendly. It's just such a shame. And what's more, the restaurant wasn't even full 😂

Well, nothing special, the enchiladas were ok, the rump steak wasn't medium but well done and a bit tough. The service was friendly and the location of the restaurant compensated for a lot. The seating should still be replaced.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the view are very nice and we will not forget the wonderful staff

4 days Detmold - 4 days Cosmo Lounge My daughter took part in the national junior tennis tournament in Detmold. We arrived in Lemgo on Tuesday evening. Since I know Detmold from my own professional history, I already knew the Cosmo Lounge. So I suggested my daughter to eat there. We weren't disappointed. On the first evening, even though the terrace was full, we were seated and had an excellent meal. The staff at the Cosmo Lounge were always friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable. We went there again on the next evenings, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Never change a winning restaurant! We stayed loyal to the Cosmo Lounge. The menu is very attractive and modern, accessible via a QR code scanner. The selection is varied, some classics have been given a modern interpretation and the names of the dishes are amusing. We really enjoyed all four days in the Cosmo Lounge and can fully recommend it to anyone traveling to Detmold. If we come back to East Westphalia, the Cosmo Lounge will be our first port of call. Thank you for everything!

Nice restaurant but unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, of course it was a bit full but we only ordered pizza, burger fries and a wrap. Good food but unfortunately the organization of the food was terrible!!

We were there on Saturday lunchtime. The seating is old and dilapidated. The service leaves something to be desired. Ashtrays were broken and overfilled. Drinks were lukewarm and the glasses are old and worn. The service employee seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The outside seating is far too close together. Hardly any space to sit comfortably. No current menu or drink menus. Only possible via scan. It's just a shame that not everyone (older generation) has a cell phone that can scan. I was totally disappointed.

We had reserved a table for 12 people to watch Germany's European Championship game. After announcing by phone, we arrived 10 minutes after the reserved time and found that the seats had already been released. This is a type of business management that I cannot understand and I would therefore advise anyone not to visit this restaurant.

The lounge is always cozy and you can enjoy delicious food and various drinks there!! We were there for over six hours... that's saying something... very pleasant atmosphere!!!!!

I was in Detmold for a week. I was there on Monday and was ignored for 45 minutes. Then I got up and left. The incompetent staff looked at me, also served the table next to me, which came much later, and they didn't allow themselves to be disturbed by hand signals. On Wednesday I gave incompetence another chance. That day too, I was ignored by the overwhelmed Generation Z, until the employee behind the counter took pity on me after 20 minutes and asked me if I wanted to order something. The food was served lukewarm. So, I gave it two chances, but you definitely won't find service, competence or great food here.

After enjoying a morning at the nearby museum, we decided to stop by for a quick snack at this charming establishment. The outdoor seating was quite comfortable, perfect for soaking up some sunshine on a nice day. The staff were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our visit. We also had the pleasure of trying some locally brewed beers which were not only delicious but truly added to the overall experience. A must-visit spot for a delightful break during your day!

The Cosmo has really slowed down. The food is just average and the prices are ridiculous. As a comparison, the children's fries portion was slightly cheaper than the side fries portion, but both were the same size, or in this case the same small. The fact that you can only order online, well...

The bar is beautifully decorated, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the cocktails are really tasty.

The restaurant is nice, the service is friendly. Unfortunately, with our large group we had the space at the entrance. A bit fast and therefore uncomfortable. Otherwise it is already recommended.

The interior is actually divided into three very differently designed areas, but the map applies equally everywhere. I find the plush “café” area in green, blue and gold particularly cozy. The beef enchilada didn't quite match the description on the menu: it came in one piece, folded instead of rolled, and with two different dips. It still tasted good. I also liked that the salad and dips were served in separate bowls. The service was nice and never took long to arrive. However, I observed at two neighboring tables that the food was brought there a few minutes apart. This can happen with a larger group, but not with just two people! And even an unasked first name doesn't go down well with everyone.

The first time I went there it was 4 stars because so far everything was good. The waiters were great. Today was an absolute disgrace. The waitress was incompetent as usual when it came to communication and service. She brought me food and drinks. I thanked her every time. What did she say? Zero point nothing. Doesn't ask how it tastes, doesn't notice when something has to go, and doesn't interact with the guests at all. Seems very arrogant and makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. And then I was charged €4 too much. That can't be the case that I should pay €22 for a damn pasta plus drink? I just looked at the menu online at home and it was €18 in total. Would the waiters who were there today or the two seriously train them otherwise it would have an extremely negative effect on the whole store, which is a shame because my first visit was really great and the waitress was very courteous and nice as was the owner. Next time I come back I want a drink on the house for paying €4 too much!(:

Gezellig en sfeervol! Heel fijn dat ze op oudjaarsdag (zondag) open waren. We konden namelijk moeilijk iets vinden om koffie te drinken. Lekkere koffie met heerlijke cheesecake en apfelstrudel met vanille ijs en slagroom was ook heel lekker.

Wir wollten eigentlich nur einen Kaffee trinken. Nachdem wir die Karte gesehen hatten, habe ich mich für einen Burger unentschieden. Einen Lachsburger. Mein Mann hat Pizzabrot essen wollen. Bekam eine Pizza serviert als kleinen Snack. Service sehr nett. Und was ich wichtig finde, die Toiletten auch Top.

Wir sind am Sonntag Vormittag dort gewesen. Alles was ich erzählen kann, ist ja dass alles dort perfekt ist. Die Getränke die wir bestellt haben waren unglaublich lecker. Gerne wieder dort gehen und was essen und trinken Ich kann nur weiter empfehlen Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und freundlich und hat echt auf alles geachtet und sehr gut alles bedient. Lage und Klima sind auch ganz ok.

Wir waren am Freitag Vormittag da.Dort gibt es eine Kellnerin, die sehr lieb und freundlich ist Man kann mit ihr sehr gut kommunizieren und sich dort Willkommen fühlen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und mit solche tolle Personal freut man sich dort tolle Zeiten verbringen.

Wir hatten einmal den Thusneldaburger Und Schnitzel mit Pfeffersoße Der Service war klasse zuvorkommend jedoch nicht aufdringlich Die Cosmo lounge ist mitten in der Stadt Man schaut auf ein Teil der Allee und träumt sich weg... Abzug gibt es nur weil auf den Stühlen noch Brötchenkrümmel waren Eigentlich nur ein halben Stern aber geht halt nicht😅 Den anderen halben Stern Abzug gibt es wegen der Speisekarte. Es ist einfach zuviel drauf sie ist nicht ordentlich gegliedert und somit war das aussuchen der Speisen etwas anstrengend. Manchmal ist weniger mehr😊😊😊

Service 0/10 Punkten. Absolut super unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir sind am Bundesliga Spieltag gekommen um Fußball zu schauen und wurden sofort als „zu laut“ (3 Frauen) bezeichnet. Dabei haben wir uns ganz normal unterhalten, wie andere Gäste. Es wurde seitens der Service Kraft (einem Mitarbeiter) den ganzen Abend gepöbelt „ihr seid zu laut“, „bitte geht“, „alle 3 Tische haben sich beschwert“ (es waren nur 2 Tische besetzt). Absolut lächerlich!

… das Beste aus beiden Temperaturwelten. Der Flammkuchen war im Inneren eiskalt und aussen am Rand zwar nicht heiss aber wenigstens zeugt der verbrannt schwarze Rand, dass er wenigstens mal Feuer gespürt hat. Wenn auch nur Aussen. Aber die Vorspeise war gut und das Bier - hier passt es dann - kalt.

Als Bar schön zum sitzen und zum unterhalten mit Freunden. Die Bedienung wirkte unorganisiert. Wir mußten lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Ich würde dort nichts mehr essen. Aber so treffen auf ein Feierabendbier sehr schön

Fajny mają klimat , ale ta beznadziejna aplikacja z kodem QR do zamawiania , niektórzy klienci chcą widzieć zo zamawiają a nie mnieć to tylko w aplikacji napisane , no i niestety kelnerzy podchodzą z lekka olewająco bo nie było za dużo gości a na kelnera żeby złożyć zamówienie czekałem 20 minut , no troszkę za długo.

Super Essen, mega Service Sofort wieder

Hier kann man sehr lecker essen, von Burger bis zur Bowl ist für jeden etwas dabei. Draußen sind gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten u.a. Strandkörbe, hier kann man relaxt einen leckeren Aperol genießen. Das Personal ist super nett und pronto und die Preise ganz o.k. Beim nächsten Besuch in Detmold sind wir auf jeden Fall wieder dort.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin dort. Die Speisekarte gefiel mir nicht und wir wollten nach den Getränken gehen. Dann bekam ich die Spargelkarte in die Hand und bestellte Spargel mit Sauce Hollandaise, mit Hähnchenbrust und französischen Kartoffeln. Das Gericht kam schnell und wurde in einer Pfanne serviert. Und was soll ich sagen, das Essen war der Hammer. Auch der Servicemann war sehr freundlich und wir haben Spaß gemacht. Ich würde dort jederzeit wieder essen.

Also kurz und bündig... Super Essen ! Super freundliches Personal ! Super schickes Restaurant ! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Hat leider extrem nachgelassen :-( Meiner Oma wurde die Speisekarte per App naheglegt..sie hat leider kein Handy.. Die dann von mir gewählten Speisen waren "unterisisch " unnd sein Geld nicht wert! Ich hatte z.B. eine Pizza...da konnte man den Belag suchen.. :-(( Und dann der Aperol...total verwässert zum Preis wie im Sterne-Restaurant. Nein danke, nie wieder!!
