Hi, I've eaten there a few times. The food was tasty, but a bit too spicy. The tables felt unpleasant and were sticky. Food left on the floor wasn't cleared away, and hygiene in the restrooms wasn't a priority. Grabbing food to go is fine, but I wouldn't want to eat there as a regular meal.

Very poor service and unfriendly treatment. When it was our turn to pick up our order, the employee only said the order number once, and unclearly. Then, instead of repeating the number, she shouted loudly and rudely, "The food is ready!" We didn't even realize it was our order. Furthermore, the food was far too salty and barely edible. If I hadn't been so hungry, I wouldn't have eaten it at all—I had to throw half of it away. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

Yes, everything is fresh and tastes really good and the price is right too.

As soon as you enter, an unpleasant, foul smell of urine wafts past you. Things were forgotten in our order, which can certainly happen, but the rather young woman said that it's just the way it is and we just have to deal with it. Are you serious? The woman in question is more concerned with her cell phone than with working. We were in the store for about 40 minutes, and she spent at least 30 of those minutes on the phone. Employees help themselves to food, don't wear gloves, and cough into their hands without sanitizing their hands afterwards. What kind of situation is this? Is there no training in hygiene, customer service, or during working hours? It's also strange that employees pack burgers to take home and shout this openly and loudly throughout the store. If the operator allows each employee to take 5-10 burgers with them, then that's fine. Entire meals were also handed out to what appeared to be friends, acquaintances, or family without even being charged. Is this normal and permitted? Tables and chairs are dirty. There's trash and leftover food all over the floor. Ketchup isn't included with the fries, but it's on the wall. We even asked if they noticed what it looks like here, and the answer we got was, "Yeah, sometimes it's like that, right, and hmm, it's the weekend, right, so it's not a big deal." The only positive thing is that we know we won't be coming back.

First of all, the decor wasn't very inviting – the tables and chairs felt sticky, as if they were rarely or not properly cleaned. When I ordered, I simply wanted my meal with a veggie burger instead of a regular burger. Unfortunately, this wasn't understood properly, and the employees gave me annoyed looks rather than friendly reactions. When the food arrived, the disappointment was even greater: The burger tasted like it came from a package, the Coke had absolutely no carbonation, and I even found a hair in the fries, presumably from a member of staff. By then, I had lost my appetite and stopped eating. Overall, a very disappointing experience

We were there around 2 p.m. on Saturday for the town festival. The salesperson was friendly and quick. The burgers were delicious and hot, but the fries were soggy and not tasty. The Mirinda and Pepsi were still warm and not carbonated. What's incredibly annoying and bothersome is the extremely loud shouting of numbers across the place so that customers know their food is ready. Absolutely awful...

I went to Kochlöffel and had a truly disappointing experience: • I ordered chicken nuggets twice at the self-checkout terminal, but both times they came out as chicken wings. The receipt also said wings, even though I'm sure I ordered nuggets. The terminal seems to be broken or faulty. • An exchange wasn't possible, even though the fault clearly lay with the terminal. • I got the wings anyway, but the food was just terribly bland. • Chicken wings: tasted of absolutely nothing; the meat was dry and unpleasant. • Sauces & ketchup: completely tasteless. • French fries: also bland, lacking any flavor. • I was in a completely normal state—it was definitely not my fault, but the food's. ➡️ All in all: A strange and disappointing visit. I honestly can't recommend anyone to go to Kochlöffel.

I was very impressed by all the negative reviews. But I have to say it was really clean and the food tasted good. The staff were quite friendly, and new employees are trained right away and shown how to clean the tables properly. The fries were a bit too seasoned for me, and the mayonnaise on the new Triple Chili Cheese burger bothered me because it felt like all you could taste was the mayonnaise.

July 2025 another visit, service and quality great, only the outside area was unkempt like with many fast food providers.

Everything is sticky and dirty, the restroom stinks horribly of urine, the younger employees don't even try to hide their listlessness, and one of the older ladies has a voice so loud you could probably hear her in Uzbekistan. A terrible place.

Absolutely not recommended – please intervene, health department! The visit to Kochlöffel Aurich was a complete disgrace. I completely fail to understand how this place is even allowed to remain open. The entire place is in a shockingly unsanitary condition – seriously, they should call the health department at any time! The floor is sticky, there are food scraps everywhere, as if it hasn't been cleaned in days. The tables are obviously never wiped, and you're practically sitting in the leftovers of previous customers. That's not just unappetizing, it's downright disgusting. And we're worried about Burger King? Compared to this place, the conditions there are clinical! The restroom stinks pungently of urine, the furnishings are ancient and clearly in need of renovation. Not a place you'd want to hang out in – even a quick visit becomes torture. The lamps are covered in dust, and it looks as if the place hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in years. Particularly sad: The children's play area, with two formerly colorful Lego walls, is completely covered in sticky dirt and grime. Apparently, it's never cleaned, which is especially worrying considering children are supposed to play there. In short: Kochlöffel Aurich is a hygiene nightmare. I can only advise everyone to stay well away from it – or better yet, to inform the public order office. Something urgently needs to be done about this!

Phew. The place is really dirty. There are greasy surfaces everywhere, tables unwiped, dirt and trash on the floor. Plus, the entrance smelled of urine.

I was there on Friday afternoon, March 21st, 2025. I have to say something about the service that doesn't work at all. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and one without bacon and one of the servers forgot that I wanted bacon on the burger. She then mentioned that I had ordered one with bacon. I pointed it out to you and she said show me and yeah, well then I'll wrap it in bacon. That was a tone she made that doesn't work at all. Normally you apologize to the guests. The second thing is that one of the younger employees would sweep up with headphones and I thought where did we end up here? If only I had done that at my job! Then I would have been really pissed off, but well you won't see me in the store anymore because the service with the tone of how they spoke to me and the attitude that's not working at all. One is cheeky and the other doesn't feel like working.

Disgusting !! During my break I quickly went to get a wooden spoon cheeseburger, when I opened it I thought I wasn't seeing it right. My citizen was pissed off 🤢🤮 disgusting simple!!!

Meat tastes like rubber, and the fries were unsalted and not cooked through, in my opinion they should change the supplier, even the water tasted strange. And the said 4 minutes that were needed to prepare the food became 9 minutes. And no, I'm not a pensioner, I'm a 19 year old boy who wanted to eat something nice but now it's off to mcs. The employees pay almost no attention to hygiene and as many times as they touched their faces, I hope that they at least wore gloves during the preparation. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, clean, BUT... 1. Why are chefs without hats? (Thank God for wearing gloves) 2. Where is the smile? 3. Attitude as if you are some kind of tramp 🤦 4. Lack of napkins I recommend only takeaway food, not in an establishment

Brought dinner twice while on vacation. The fried chicken is great as always. Currywurst, nuggets and chicken wings were also great. I cannot understand the problems with preliminary evaluations. On both visits the staff were friendly, attentive and friendly. Definitely again on summer vacation

You can stay there every now and then and order food.

To put it bluntly, the staff today was a complete disaster! Three people who you can tell are working because they have to, without any ambition to be close to the customer, let alone the business. One of them eats and prepares burgers on the side, constantly on her cell phone. Then we had to complain about two things in two orders (the fries were not cooked through and the bacon was missing from the burger). Back to the counter all three! Take the burger apart and find nothing, it couldn't be more unfriendly, instead of making a new one she packs up the one she complained about and gives it back. Her colleague had prepared a fresh one without any consultation between them. To put it simply The burger went through eight fingers, was opened four times and was then still to be eaten. It's sad that something like this still exists today.

We sat in the store in Aurich this afternoon. It's a tragedy when you order a menu and then it comes and the fries aren't cooked through, the double cheeseburger was ordered with bacon, of course it wasn't on it. After complaining about the menu, the employee took the burger apart and said there was bacon in between, it was wrapped up and handed back to me, then I took the burger apart and asked where the bacon was, of course not on it. The employee's behavior was the last thing after a lot of back and forth, a new burger was made and brought to the table in a way that I can only say was disgusting.

Not the best Kochlöffel. The fries were already cold, the wurst was warm (not hot). Why leave the door open on a cold rainy day anyway? Don’t leave fries waiting on the serving plate in the cold wind, when the coffee is not prepared yet.

We are standing outside the Kochlöffel in Aurich, one of the last bastions for hungry East Frisians looking for a quick, filling meal. In the spring wind, which occasionally wafts the smell of fries and freshly fried meat around our noses, we take a seat at one of the sturdy plastic tables outside after receiving our ordered goods. The napkin immediately flutters away, as if trying to avoid the greasy adventure. The golden fries are steaming lightly in the cool spring wind, and the first bite of the chicken burger delivers exactly what we expected: crispy breading, juicy chicken and a generous portion of mayo that boldly pushes past the edge and finds its way straight to your finger. The napkins, bravely weighed down with the Fanta cup, are already waiting for their inevitable use. A look at the surroundings shows: the Aurich audience is already gathered at the “Fast Food Gala”. A few teenagers stand nearby grinning as they stage an epic “French fry challenge,” and a few meters away, passers-by climb onto a strange viewing platform overlooking the square. A few sips of Fanta every now and then - the hiss of the carbon dioxide foam somehow fits perfectly with the crispy crackle of fries. The chicken burger, with the obligatory lettuce leaf stuck almost ironically decoratively between the crispy layers, holds together bravely, and every chew is a mixture of crispy and “Okay, I need the next napkin”. We briefly squint into the low spring sun, which acts as if it were the showpiece for the burger today - and we both think the same thing: Sometimes you really don't need more than chicken burgers, fries and cold Fanta to enjoy life. As of: April 23, 2023 *What goes on the fries? How much does that cost? 30 cents! Okay, then put half a chicken on it for me!*

Waiting time too long. Anyone who came 10 minutes after us got there quicker. And how can you get the grilled chicken skin so loose?

Nothing going on so no stress The young man at the checkout was very nice and explained to me several times which sauces were available. Then what doesn't work is stale Pepsi filled into the cup and something fresh on top 🥴 I got a new one without any problems. But if I hadn't happened to notice it, I would have gotten stale Pepsi!! I don't find that pleasing. And since there were several large cups of stale Pepsi there, I'm assuming there's a method to it! I ask you to stop this, I'm there often. A short time later the full cups were gone. Apparently someone noticed that something was wrong. I think that's very good.

The employees are rude and not friendly at all. There were several rude situations but it was enough. I like eating here but the employees should be friendlier and treat their customers with respect. Even if I like the food I don't eat it and today was definitely the last time I'll order there!!!

The food tastes a bit bland and the cleanliness is limited. But the staff is very nice and there are now terminals, the prices are a bit high.

Food tastes good, but if you really care about cleanliness, you shouldn't use the toilets 😉

Looking for lunch with the kids on the trip to Aurich, it was exactly the right thing. Everything was tasty, a real fast food place.

Dirty tables that make you stick to them, dirty toilets and the food worse than McDonalds... not worth a cent.

We were here on vacation and already know cooking spoons from Coesfeld. The store run here is clean, modern and the staff is friendly. :)

Unfortunately, the work here is not hygienic. The staff wears gloves with which you collect money at the cash register, then directly touch the burgers and pick things up from the floor without even changing your gloves.

Personal war sehr freundlich , essen wurde frisch gemacht , Preise sind aber extrem teuer geworden. Und Vorallem die Toiletten sind stark Sanierungsbedürftig… leider war auch der Verkaufsraum und die Toiletten sehr schmutzig.. waren am 23.10.23 abends dort.

Super, alle Burger frisch zubereitet. Laden sauber und sehr nette Bedienung. Die Currywurst ist auch noch immer eine der besten.

Kompletter Schwachsinn die Softdrinks schmecken nach Wasser und die Burger könnte ich selbst besser machen die Preise könnte man halbieren und trotzdem würde ich es mir nicht kaufen da der Hamburger keine 50 Cent kostet zu machen, der Hamburger besteht aus einer Bulette die dünner ist als Pappe und es schmeckt auch nach Pappe🤮

Die Halbenhähnchen sind super. Aber die Pommes sind garnicht knusprig. Und die Hamburger sind zu klein.

Personal freundlich und schnell Ambiente ist halt Fastfood Essen geschmacklich deutlich unter dem was die Konkurrenz bietet bei identischen Preisen.

Essen laberig der veggi burger wurde im selben fett zubereitet wie die richtigen Burger auch alles nicht so sauber lieber nicht mehr hin gehen

Wurde von der Bedienung super unfreundlich und patzig empfangen.. von oben bis unten gemustert bzw. Beobachtet habe mich sehr unwohl gefühlt.. sie hatte wohl ein Problem mit mir.. das war mein letzter Besuch sowas unverschämtes habe ich noch nie erlebt..

Schlechte Personal -> MÜDE! Wartezeit ca. 30 min. Hygiene sehr schlecht! Respektlos und unfreundlich. Tisch nicht gesäubert. Essen war ok. Komme nie wieder!

Ich war am 22 Juni dort und war geschockt, wie die dort mit Hygiene umgehen. Hab dort einen Hamburger bestellt und die Verkäuferin hatte zuvor die Hände im Wischwasser drin und anschließend dann das Rinder Patty rausgenommen und auf die Bratfläche gelegt....🤮nie wieder!!! Eine andere Verkäuferin aß während sie die Burger zu Ende bereitete.... Ohne Worte Hab den Burger aus Scham mitgenommen und weggeschmissen. Wirklich ekelhaft Nie wieder!!!

Super Freunlich hat Spaß gemacht und sehr gut geschmeckt mal wieder im Kochlöffel zu Essen.

We eten veel in andere Kochloffel filialen, dit was de slechste ooit! De portie was echt veel te klein, de toiletten waren openbaar. De gebruikers liepen in en uit. De zaak was smoezelig...Nee....dit kan beter!

Habe heute Mittag 2 Fleischkroketten kaufen wollen. Mir wurde nicht ganz so freundlich mitgeteilt, dass es die seit über einem Jahr nicht mehr gibt, sondern nur als Viererpack. Es geht auch freundlicher, aber oft ist der Kunde schon lange nicht mehr König

Die Burger sind nicht frisch und Pappig! Mitarbeiter total überfordert..Kommt aufs Personal an. Eine Frau ist frech und genervt! Schade...Einmal und nie wieder. 😢 ☹

2,90€ für eine kleine Pommes. Wenn man dann noch überlegt,dass es sich dabei um Mini Pommes handelt die im Einkauf nur die Hälfte kosten, ist dass Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ungenügend. Die Hamburger/Cheeseburger Fleischscheiben sind so dünn, da bekommt man bei McDonald's mehr auf den Teller. Der Double Cheeseburger ist nicht mehr als ein normaler Cheeseburger bei McDonald's. Nur ca doppelt so teuer. Muss man nicht wieder hin.

Mitarbeiter Innen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen kommt schnell und ist Preis-Leistung völlig in Ordnung

Wenn wir mal Appetit auf ein Hähnchen haben, dann ist Kochlöffel unsere 1 Anlaufstelle 🙈 Die Hähnchen sind dort Mega lecker und sehr zu empfehlen 👍🏻

Geilste Burgerschmiedenkette die man noch mit gutem Gewissen ansteuern kann!! Jeder Wunsch wird beachtet und Preis Leistung ist für die heutige Lage immer noch in Ordnung.

Immer nettes Personal, Besonders das Hähnchen ist Hammer

Das Personal gibt sich bemüht die Kunden schnellstmöglich zu bedienen und das machen die Mitarbeiter zufriedenstellend. Speisen und Getränke sind seit 1961 immer noch von guter Qualität. Die Toiletten sollten allerdings öfter nach geputzt werden, Kunden und Nichtkunden machen daraus eine öffentliche Toilette. Gelegentlich werden die Tische abgewischt, könnte des öfteren gemacht werden. Guten Appetit

Leider sehr schlecht und unverschämt was Ihr gerade als ChickenBox verkauft habt. Zwei statt drei Nuggets,und das in drei von vier Boxen. Und der Burger fehlt komplett,vier Mal!!!!

Habe mir mal wieder ein frisch gebratenes Hähnchen gekauft, es war knusprig und zart,genau wie ich es mag.

Wir waren das 1. mal dort und sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundliche, schnelle Bedienung und das Essen war auch lecker. 1/2 Hähnchen mit Pommes. Alles frisch. Es ist doch in einem Schnellrestaurant normal, dass die Tische und der Boden nicht immer sofort sauber gemacht werden, da sehr viele Gäste Schlag auf Schlag kommen und das Personal nicht immer die Zeit hat. Es ist ja auch ein Schnellrestaurant und kein Sternerestaurant. Auch benehmen sich die Gäste oft wie die Schweine, vor allen Dingen die Kinder und die Mütter lassen dann den ganzen Dreck für das Personal liegen. Die Toiletten waren sauber, die Klobrillen könnten mal erneuert werden, sind sehr abgewetzt. Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen.

Also ich selbst habe nichts von gegessen gehabt sondern nur meine Freundin abgeholt aber es sah einfach schon schön aus da drin

Das Personal war zwar nett aber obwohl kaum was los war, waren Tische dreckig und man hat nicht das bekommen was man wollte geschweige denn Strohhalme für die Getränke. Die Burger waren trocken und die Mayonnaise auf den Pommes sauer. Es ist wirklich schade das dieser Standort von Kochlöffel da scheinbar keinen Wert auf Qualität und Service legt.

Essen ist in Ordnung.Aber die Damentoilette ist echt ekelig.

Ich habe heute dort ein so trockenes 1/2 Hähnchen bekommen....einfach ungenießbar! Hat wohl stundenlang in der Warmhalte gelegen... eine Frechheit dafür noch Geld zu verlangen geschweige denn sowas überhaupt noch zu verkaufen....bin echt enttäuscht 😞 kenne ich eigentlich nicht von dort , normalerweise sind die Hähnchen super... Heute einen Tag später, war ich dort um dieses nochmals anzubringen.........ich erhielt sofort 2 neue halbe Hähnchen die diesmal wieder ausgezeichnet saftig & lecker Waren......

Ich kann mich nicht beschweren, ich esse hier so gut wie täglich und es schmeckt einfach nur gut, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und der Gastraum ist sauber👍

Die halben Hähnchen sind wie immer lecker 😋 Leider ist das Personal , sobald mehr Kunden in der Mittagszeit da sind , total überfordert. Es ist offensichtlich , dass hier kein " Fachpersonal " tätig ist. Schade 😥
