KNIPS Klein Flottbek in Hamburg

In terms of ambience, the Knips has remained similar since the tenant changed. There are nice seating areas in front of and behind the house, as well as smaller areas in the front area where you can feel comfortable and a larger dining room in the back area that offers flexible space. The menu has been enlarged to a normal size after being very small at times and offers mid-priced food and drinks. There are no longer special days, such as pizza or pasta day. There is nothing to complain about in terms of quality, the service is still nice and friendly, always on the ball and the food is delicious! .

Very cool pub with classics. Lamb currywurst with fries tastes very tasty. The service is great, relaxed and super nice.

The oriental tarte flambée was very tasty, but honey made your fingers sticky.

Tastefully decorated and friendly service. The food was okay but not particularly good either. Nice selection of dishes but lacking a bit in taste. Unfortunately, we were sitting right next to the toilet door and had to flee from the smell at some point (even though the toilets were impeccably clean). In this respect, I recommend always reserving a table and not relying on luck like we did ;-)

In the immediate vicinity of the Klein Flottbek S-Bahn station there is a restaurant that makes your sense of taste dance. The cuisine is so good that you wonder whether the chefs have secretly locked star chefs in the basement. The wine list? A paradise for connoisseurs - so extensive that you could almost get lost if the service didn't show you the way so charmingly. The large bar area seems impressive at first, perhaps even intimidating, but after your first glass of wine you will feel at home here. If you want to eat something good in Klein Flottbek, you shouldn't miss this restaurant.

The food was good, but the countless British guests, with their sometimes very loud conversations, created a pub atmosphere and prevented conversation at our table, at the end of the room. To get to the toilet, you had to physically force your way through the crowd and were also insulted and doused with beer. I left very early.

Short and sweet. The food is excellent. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. It is cozy and the price/performance ratio is good. Recommended.

Quite ok! The waitress walked past us at the beginning, didn't even say hello, came back and walked past us again without asking what we wanted. So a seemingly poorly trained assistant. No matter, I went to the counter and took matters into my own hands. We were then given a table outside by a more capable member of staff. We ordered tarte flambée twice. Once French and once Swedish. The French tarte flambée is recommended, but I definitely missed that certain something with the Swedish one. The tarte flambée was topped carelessly with a bit of dill and a few strips of salmon. Unless you had a piece with salmon, the tarte flambée tasted like nothing. I would have expected more and made it better. For example, spiced up with pine nuts or other suitable ingredients. Otherwise, the atmosphere is quite nice and overall it was still enough for a nice evening. Would I go there again? Let's see, there's a lot on offer in Hamburg and it didn't really convince me. The Dill sin döns down by the Elbe is e.g. B. excellent, offers fair portions and a better ambience.

Hello, we were there yesterday at 9 p.m Snap, like almost every week. After 10 minutes the waitress came and told us that she had just settled the bill and that there was nothing left, including no drinks!! We asked why? There's not much going on today. It's strange that according to the notice it should be open until midnight.

We were given a seat outside. The service was attentive when ordering, serving and asking questions. Unfortunately, when I was paying, the waitress was no longer in sight, so I went in and saw that the employees were chatting and only spoke to me after another wait at the counter. We had a burger. It was very tasty. However, we found the beer prices to be very high, so we only drank two beers each and then the next one at home. Definitely a recommendation to stop by there. The prices are a bit higher, probably appropriate for the area. The sanitary facilities did not correspond to the other impression of the location. I would have liked more cleanliness. After a lovely afternoon in the botanical garden, we passed by here by chance. We were able to sit outside and had a good meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A successful end to the day.

Children are not that important as guests - only when the adults get the food does the chef realize that the food is not there. And when you complain, you immediately shout. Service thought is different

Everything was ok. I have to get rid of one thing. When I arrived with my friends, there was a used napkin in the middle of the passage to the other tables. This means that the waitress has to step past or over this (quite large and very visible) napkin every time. But it wasn't an obstacle for the blonde lady - she maneuvered past for two hours until a lady from the next table got up and wanted to go to the toilet and picked up this napkin and put it on a tosch. Incomprehensible.

This German restaurant is located right next to Klein Flottbek station. This was helpful as there were almost no restaurants nearby for lunch. I enjoyed the schnitzel and beer. The store staff are friendly, bright and pleasant.

Cute little restaurant. Everything lovingly furnished. The food tastes great. There is something for every taste, whether it is vegetarian, vegan or with fish or meat. I've always liked it so far. I've been there many times.

Another nice evening with friends in the KNIPS restaurant, Jürgensallee 51, right next to the Klein Flottbek S-Bahn station. As usual, delicious food and the friendly and attentive service team. Bar and restaurant KNIPS in Klein Flottbek at Jürgensallee 51, in the immediate vicinity of the Klein Flottbek S-Bahn station. Very comfortably furnished, very good snack as ordered for us after a visit to the cemetery. There was a delicious tomato soup followed by mixed sausage, roast beef, cheese and salmon bites. At the end of our small memorial service there was plum and apple crumble cake (see pictures). Unfortunately I haven't been able to try the other offerings yet, but I'd love to come back. The service team was very friendly and extremely attentive.

Great place in a nice area of ​​Hamburg and a good alternative to the overcrowded cafes and restaurants in Ottensen and Eimsbüttel. The food is good, the service is overwhelming and the atmosphere is such that we feel comfortable.

It's very nice to sit in the Knips. The service is friendly. Unfortunately the waffle wasn't homemade and the cake wasn't that tasty. The main courses at the next table looked good though.

The food came out of the deep fryer

In the Elbe suburbs there are a few cozy places where you can eat well to very well, but also just enjoy meeting up to drink a wine or a nice beer. It is currently one of the places people like to go in the Elbe suburbs. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. By the way, dogs are always welcome here!

Went to this place after a long day at airbus. Service was great, I had veal schnitzel. It was great. Veal was tender and breading was crispy .

Tja, nach über 20 Minuten noch nicht mal die Speisekarte erhalten, Bedienung würdigt einen keines Blickes, und das bei leerem Laden: auf gar keinen Fall zu empfehlen!!!!!

Wir waren Heute Abend zu Essen dort. Das Ambiente war super, das Essen sehr lecker. Die Bereitstellung des Essens hat sich verzögert. Daraufhin hat der Servicemitarbeiter uns zum Ausgleich ein extra Glas Wein angeboten. Das ist uns so noch nie passiert. Dafür geben wir 6 Sterne für den Mitarbeiter.

Ich muss mich wohl von der Erinnerung an die Kalbschnitzel meiner Jugend ( sind ja auch 1,5 - 2 Tage her) verabschieden. Damals waren es panierte Schnitzel und heute ist es Panade mit Schnitzeleinlage….. Zur Ehrenrettung und den dennoch gegebenen 4 Sternen trug maßgeblich die äußerst zuvorkommende und sehr freundliche Service-Kraft Anna-Lea bei, der ich auf Nachfrage meine Meinung zum Schnitzel kundtat. Sie bot sehr höflich an die Speise zurückzunehmen, dies lehnte ich aber ab. Geschmacklich waren die Bratkartoffel perfekt, das gereichte Brot mit Dip waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Ich gehe wieder hin, verzichte aber auf das Kalbschnitzel. Gibt ja auch andere Speisen….

Zur Weihnachtsferien da gewesen. Sehr gemütlich Essen und Service waren auch absolut in Ordnung. Super zu erreichen mit der Bahn. Wenn es nach mir geht gerne wieder.

Gemütlich und gutes Essen. Der Weg dorthin lohnt sich und ist mit der S-Bahn gut zu erreichen.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hätte sich allein einen Stern mehr verdient, wäre das Essen nicht so bedürftig geblieben, schade.

Nettes Bistro-Restaurant, ganz nah an der S-Bahn

Schönes Restaurant in den Elbvororten. Ob lecker was essen oder einfach nur ein Getränk an der Bar, beides ist möglich. Essen war sehr lecker. Im Sommer kann man auch super draußen sitzen. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ein Monument in den Elbvororten. Anständiges Bier, kultivierte Weinauswahl und kommode Speisen. Schade daß es keine Knips-Partys mehr gibt wie in den späten 1980zigern :-) Legändär und schön daß es sowas dort gab!

So einen leckeren Flammkuchen ( orientalisch), mit Abstand der Beste. Das war ein Geschmackserlebnis. "Sau lecker" Auch die Bedienung, voll auf Zack. Sehr, sehr gerne mal wieder.

Netter Service...KalbsSchnitzel am Nachbartisch sehen gut aus und riesig. ABER : Wir hatten 2 Mal Currywurst und einmal Gemüsepfanne mit Kartoffeln. Currywurst mit "HELA" -Artigem "Zucker"-Curryketschup wie aus der berühmten Plastikflasche mit etwas zu viel scharfem Currypulver (Ich mag es scharf!) und die Curryfleischwurst SOWAS von Standard mit ganz leckeren Fritten für 12, 90 Euro ! Euer Ernst???

Wir waren dort auf einer Fimenfeier. Es gab Buffet und das war sehr gut. Vor allem möchte ich aber das Personal loben! Das war wirklich sehr engagiert!

Alles in Allem war es einfach perfekt! Preis-Leistung lässt sich nicht schlagen. Größte Empfehlung im Bereich Flottbek. 6/5 Sternen!

A large restaurant in leafy surroundings, easily accessible from the centre of Hamburg as it is right by Klein Flottbek S-bahn station. It serves a variety of meat, fish and pasta dishes and also a speciality which is like a very thin, crisp pizza with melted cheese and a variety of toppings, served on a rectangular platter.

Essen sehr gut, Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es riecht im Innenbereich etwas nach Rauch.

Gute Karte, entspanntes Ambiente und professioneller Service. Preise m.E. zu hoch, insbesondere auch Weine.

Das Essen war okay. Die "Ofenkartoffel" war jedoch eher eine Pellkartoffel, d.h. das typische Aroma und die Konsistenz einer Ofenkartoffel haben gefehlt. Der auf der Karte angekündigte Feta hat geschmacklich eher an einen milden Käse, bspw. ein Kuhmilchkäse (d.h. kein "Feta") erinnert. Bedienung war trotz geringer Auslastung wenig aufmerksam und Service eher langsam. Bei Nachfrage zum Essen wirkte der Service desinteressiert.

Seitdem der syrische Koch teilweise auch syrisch/arabisch kocht ist das Essen vielfältiger und besonderer geworden. Weiter so!

Ich war gestern mit meiner Freundin da und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und es war gemütlich. Die Preise sind ok, wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam. Drinnen und draußen kann man mit schönem Ambiente verweilen. Wir waren zu einer Party /geschlossenen Gesellschaft da und gegessen wurde vom Buffett/mit Warmhaltegeschirr. Das hat en Pommes und Frühlingsrollen nicht gut getan-frisch können die das sicher besser.:-).

Tolles Restaurant mit abwechslungsreicher Karte. Immer wieder gerne. Leider wird man auch hier nicht von der Preisschraube verschont.

I have been there for lunch, sometimes busy and most of the times not. Coffee is great! The fotos Is not at all my cup of tea but that would depend on each person.
