Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food on a Monday evening. The fried chicken was very tasty, but the dakgalbi, unfortunately, was not so good.

Great food, great people and I really enjoyed the ambience as well

Cool shop with delicious food. I mean, the selection used to be bigger and different, but you'll still definitely find what you're looking for. There are tapas and main courses, there is the vegan Asian familiar, but also a little something different. Mango lassi felt like it had no yoghurt, but was super fruity and delicious. Prices are rather high. Been there several times now, the tofu “fried chicken” was incredibly delicious! Absolute recommendation!

Eating here is definitely an experience. The whole store is colorful and decorated in Korean style. You can't sit comfortably on the stools there for long, but it's supposed to be more reminiscent of street food and is therefore appropriate. You order via a bell at the table after you have written your dishes on a piece of paper. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour for our food, otherwise the service was very nice. The food was delicious and there were new, exciting dishes for us to try.

Kkokki Loves Vegan is a wonderful restaurant with a great concept. The food is incredibly delicious every time, and every time there are new dishes that are worth trying. The furnishings are also very nice and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere. For me it is an absolute must if you want to eat (vegan) in the Schanze!

I got a free dessert for my birthday, which made me really happy. The fried chicken is also very, very good, although the soy garlic sauce became a bit too sweet towards the end for me. The hot girl summer drink was great. I'd love to come back :)

The waitresses are friendly. Unfortunately we didn't like the food. Mine was almost cold & my friend's was way too spicy. Also, the portions are really too small for the prices.

Delicious alternative if you want to go meatless.

Ordered the food via delivery. It was the worst korean food I had in Hamburg. The bimbimba was super stinky and smells like leftover food for a week. The food made me feel like puking and I think it just gave me norovirus. The soup was also extremely salty. All of those cost almost 30 euros. Will never go again delivery or eat in!! And will not recommend!!!

The rice cake and dumpling soup here is really crazy… It’s so ridiculously delicious that you can’t believe it’s vegan!! And since it's definitely vegan, I didn't feel uncomfortable or stuffy after eating it, so I really enjoyed it!! And kimchi… It’s the best kimchi I’ve ever had!!! If this is vegan, I can be vegan for the rest of my life!! I highly recommend it to Koreans living in Hamburg or traveling there!! I definitely want to go every time I come to Hamburg!!

It was our first time at a vegan Korean restaurant and we were really super happy! We had Mandu, Seottok Seottok, Japchae, Kimbap, Tteokbokki and the Cauliflower & Tofu Fried "Chicken". The latter in particular completely blew us away – both versions were incredibly tasty! The combination of kimbap and tteokbokki is also great as always (be sure to dip the kimbap into the sauce). At the end there was Makgeolli, which was super tasty :) The interior is really cool - a mix of street style, old posters and lots of little details that you keep discovering. Overall, a great atmosphere and an absolutely recommendable restaurant 😊

We came here for dinner and made reservations for four people. The food was delicious and authentic! I couldn't find any difference between the food I ate in Hongdae and here!💕 What I missed was a coat rack or a shelf - here you could do it like in Korea with a stool where the jackets can be put. But otherwise everything was perfect!🥰

Food is always very tasty here, but on a pricier side. However, nowhere to hang our coats and the toilets were dirty. Staff members are very nice!

Delicious vegan Korean street food & great service.

We enjoyed a very tasty dinner here and were excited to try Tteokbokki for the 1st time! We were served quickly and friendly - we didn't know the concept, but found it straightforward and easy to understand. We think it's great that everything is vegan! :) We can particularly recommend the Mango Lassi.

We've never been to Korea, but that's what I imagine. Funny system, you go to the reception, you are given a table, a menu and a small hand pusher with which you call the night nurse, er... the waiter or waitress. The friendly staff rushes over and takes the order. When it comes, it's a Korean Food Tasty Highlight, or whatever you want to call it

Incredibly inviting market atmosphere paired with delicious food! We had both the must-try and the other lunch menu, and it was perfect!

The tapas were really expensive and not tasty. I was still hungry afterwards and spent a lot of money. Service was bad, we ordered more food and it didn't come, when we wanted to leave it came... so we left hungry. The ambience is quite fun, you feel like you're in Korea, but it's very loud/reverberant, so not for a cozy evening with friends and entertainment

Loud, crowded, chaotic - that's probably how it should be? The service takes an incredibly long time, but is very nice. Bibimbap was unfortunately disappointing and bland (it was only spicy or completely tasteless). Ultimately, unfortunately, just vegetables with rice for a pretty hefty price. But the fried tofu was great, but the portion was silly compared to the bibimbap, considering it cost almost as much.

The food. Really good. We ordered lots of small dishes and it was best to just share. The Nono Chicken was so delicious. I almost liked cauliflower better but tofu was also awesome. The service was also very relaxed with an electric bell. The food came very quickly and all the employees were very welcoming. Gladly again!♥️

One of my favorite restaurants in the Schanze. Very tasty, cool atmosphere and friendly service. The stools mean you won't be able to sit there for as long, but that doesn't matter. The only downside: the seating options are not well suited for people with physical limitations.

Delicious, flavorful Korean classics made vegan. I'm not vegan, but I've enjoyed this place both times I've eaten there and I look forward to my next visit.

We chose the KKOKKI NONO CHICKEN COMBO with two different marinades and the KIMMARI. Both really blew us away in terms of taste. The portion sizes are also sufficient. The service could be a little more trained. Some questions about the food could not be answered independently and carrying the tray with the drinks looked very awkward.

Thank God I know what Korean food tastes like in real life and with all my love I really can't recommend this restaurant. Authentic Korean food can be found in much better restaurants than this vegan one. The very hot chili paste, which is absolutely fundamental to Korean cuisine, was so reduced to the Germans' virtually non-existent pain tolerance that it simply tasted of nothing. I was very disappointed. The So-tteok-so-tteok couldn't convince us at all with their strange consistency. The drinks, however, were quite okay. The waiters were completely overwhelmed by the number of guests and took forever to take our order and another eternity to bring us the food. They then brought us the wrong dishes. We didn't get one at all, but we got the other twice. But we pointed this out and the plates were replaced. The restaurant was too loud so it was hard to have a conversation. You also sat on stools and couldn't hang up your jacket, so you had to sit on it. The only good thing was that towards the end you weren't rushed to leave the store at all. You could sit for a while while the staff slowly started to clean up. We were warmly greeted by the kitchen staff. We thought that was very nice. But we probably wouldn't come back because the competition is simply stronger.

I thought the food was delicious, I like the decor and the staff was super nice. It can get very crowded (and noisy) around lunchtime, but overall I think it's a really great shop. The ordering system with the bell and the piece of paper reminded me of Japan/Korea, which I thought was a nice detail.

Super delicious food with a modern offering. It is advisable to make reservations, especially at peak times. I have to say that the tables and chairs are sometimes not really comfortable and probably not for everyone. If it's full, you understandably have to wait a little longer, but the service staff are always very friendly.

Cool restaurant with great vegan food. The fried “chicken” made from tofu and/or cauliflower is awesome! A must have is the Mango Lassi.

A friend and I were here two days in a row. Once for dinner and once for lunch. It's a really super pleasant atmosphere and the ordering concept is super pleasant. You're in great hands here if you don't want to be disturbed. Everything is vegan and there is a great selection, especially of tapas. The spicy things (with chili pepper) are really spicy. My friend had the ttoekbokki and although it is usually often spicy, she couldn't finish it. So if you're not entirely sure that you can handle a high level of spiciness, then it's better to order the non-spicy things :)

First of all, it looks really nice there and is supposed to be a street food alley. We were there around 2pm and there were only a few other people there and it wasn't crowded. That was also really nice and you could have a pleasant conversation. The food was also super tasty. We ordered several appetizers. I can definitely recommend the gyoza and the dumplings. They were really crispy and you could tell that they were freshly made. The service was also very friendly and the food came really quickly. We were all totally surprised because we ordered so many different things and only waited around 15 minutes.

Best modern, vegan, Korean street food/food. Brightly colored with a fresh concept (bell and written order!), the dishes leave nothing to be desired. Fried tofu/cauliflower is absolutely amazing and always worth a detour. During my visits, the service was always friendly, attentive and in a good mood. Go! Test! have fun! The vegan Korean restaurant offers an interesting selection of small dishes that not only taste great but are also creatively presented. Particularly noteworthy is the authentic seasoning, which retains the typical Korean character even in the vegan version. The service was friendly and attentive, so we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and it's clear that a lot of attention is paid to detail here - from the furnishings to the food selection. However, the prices are a little higher, but this seems justified given the quality and fresh ingredients. Overall, a recommended place for anyone who wants to enjoy Korean cuisine in a vegan interpretation!

The food tastes good, even if it is a bit overpriced. I found the portion large. Unfortunately, the ordering system is completely useless because the employees can't keep up with the bell and the number disappears immediately when the bell rings, so many people have to ring the bell again and again until something happens. We have noticed this negatively twice now. The first time the shop was almost completely empty at lunchtime, but it still took forever (!) until you could pay. If you ring the bell, it may also be the case that whoever comes doesn't have access to the bill. It then takes another while until the right employee finally comes along. The support provided by the service is therefore very impersonal. I also didn't like the fact that when I pay with EC card I'm forced to choose whether I give a tip. I don't think you're doing yourself any favors because it seems so forced... This nonsensical ordering system needs to be worked on urgently, because some of my friends don't come back because of it, even though the food is good :/.

This is probably called modern Korean cuisine, or fusion cuisine. The lunch dishes are good, but I think the dishes on the normal menu are a bit too small. To be honest, the whole concept was a bit too poppy for me. That's why you see a lot of young people here, where the concept is extremely well received.

Young population in Hamburg are getting Vegan, that we learned at Kkokki. This place is really good for both ambience and food. Menu is not big but food is tasty and well prepared. Staff is very friendly, and speaks English. I would recommend if uou like Asian street food.

Great restaurant with a cool atmosphere. Interesting concept, the variation is fun. Large selection of vegan dishes, which are very tasty. The restaurant is huge and therefore rather noisy. The staff were friendly.

Simply cool and delicious food!

I had the No. 36 Tofo and cauliflower and unfortunately I didn't like the food except for the sauce. I also had severe stomach pain and diarrhea the morning after. The employees are all very, very friendly and accommodating. We had a spot near the door and it was very drafty.

Creative and delicious vegan dishes. A good selection and great taste! Unfortunately, you often have to wait longer for service or food, which is probably due to the size of the restaurant. Still happy again!

A truly exceptionally decorated, unorthodox shop with incredibly delicious Korean style street food and classics. Fried cauliflower, tofu, the Korean glass noodles or the vegan fried egg on the bibimbap - all super delicious. Perfect for sharing, perfect start to an evening on the hill. Plus, of course, Cass and Soju - as it should be in Korea 😉 Keep it up, you're great!

Once you understand the menu and the "bell system" everything is really easy. There is a clear selection with only vegetarian dishes, all of which are absolutely delicious😋 The only thing that takes some getting used to is sitting on the typical plastic stools. PS: Korean 🍺 is also very tasty, cheers 😃

Service was impeccable and super kind! Portion was a little small for 15.5 and the sauce was a little too sweet in the end! Would recommend though, the texture of the "Fried Chicken" was amazing, radish was great and refreshing and it's great to see more alternatives popping up!

We were there on a normal Sunday evening. As a starter we had the "Springrolls" which were actually summer rolls and somehow didn't stand out. Then came the main courses with the cauliflower "fried chicken" sauce and breading which were really good. Unfortunately my cauliflower was a little too raw for me. And we also had the Suntofu Kimchi Jigae. A mega delicious stew with a nice spiciness and great silken tofu.

We reserved a table at kkokki loves vegan on a Saturday. The store was super busy, but the experience was really a 10/10 and the visit was really great. The food was super tasty and the service was super nice and quick. We also received tips on how to traditionally drink and serve the Somaeks we ordered. We tried four starters and the vegan Korean Fried Chicken with two different sauces and were very impressed. Our highlight was definitely the Kimchi Jeon, you should definitely try them.😍 We would definitely come again. The only minus point for us is the chairs without backrests. A bit stupid for people with back pain, but the experience makes it up.🤭

Literally the most delicious food every time!

We ordered: 1. Rest-stop potatoes – soft and tender, served with a sauce that seemed like a blend of mayonnaise and wasabi. It was delicious, with the wasabi flavor coming through without being overpowering. 2. Japchae – a generous portion of noodles and vegetables. Unlike many places, they didn’t skimp on the vegetables or protein. 3. Enoki mushroom tempura – perfectly crispy and served with soy sauce. We loved it. 4. Vegan fried chicken with spicy sauce – crispy and convincingly similar to real chicken, though the spicy sauce wasn’t actually spicy. We would have loved it if the sauce would have been more spicy and without any sweetness. 5. Casa beer - loved it. Service is friendly and they accept both card and cash, which isn’t that common in Germany. For us, there’s definitely a next time. 💯

Extremely delicious vegan Korean food! And super friendly staff. Volume, sometimes a bit “rolling over” due to the open space. But all in all a very great shop. Have you ever thought about opening one in Berlin? 🥲 There is simply no vegan Korean who has fast food like wings!

Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy Korean street food because we simply weren't served. We stood at the door for 10 minutes before someone noticed us, even though the store wasn't very crowded that evening. What was worse, however, was that after explaining the ordering principle, no one came to us anymore. After ringing the bell for the fourth time and trying several times to get our attention so that we could even order, we simply left after waiting for over 25 minutes. Our number kept popping up on the screens but was ignored by the staff. It's a shame because we had actually heard very positive things...

Very very tasty vegan Korean food. The entire menu is vegan and offers many different dishes. I had the vegan Korean fried chicken (tofu-cauliflower mix) and I found it very tasty! The service is also very friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Average overpriced food. Unfortunately we were all left disappointed and not entirely full. Small portions, tiny tapas not worth the price, very small rice sides. Tasty food but wouldn’t return. Staff friendly but slow. Love that it is vegan though so disappointed to give a poor review.

-Generally: The lunch menu is only available Mon-Fri, but it's worth it. For us, one + one tapas for 2 people was enough. That was about 15€/person. We went on two different days and tried the Soy Garlic and Gochujang No Chicken combo (cauliflower and tofu, both good), as well as both Bingsus and two tapas! -Food: Very tasty, we preferred the Soy Garlic, but both were very tasty. The Gochujang sauce wasn't really spicy and maybe a little too sweet. The Tteokkbokki tapas, on the other hand, were extremely spicy (a little too strong for us but we're white too haha). The bingsu was a huge portion for the price and delicious! Easily enough for two people. -Service: Our service was very friendly :) -Atmosphere: Beautifully furnished with posters and lamps and tables with an integrated button that you can press if you have questions or to order! Overall very cool, will come again :)

The food is very tasty, especially anything else. The fried cauliflower is probably something of a signature dish. I only ever get moderately full for my money, but if you can live with that and eat an apple in the office, that's fine

So nice that the Kkokki is in the ski jump. As a vegan you have a certain amount of choice in Hamburg, but the “Chicken Cauliflower” is one of my absolute favorite dishes. If only I could eat all the time! The service is calm and friendly and you usually get the food very quickly. The prices are at ski jump level, so ok. The only criticism I have is the seating. In my opinion they are not comfortable and cold on the bottom. Pillows would be a real game changer ;-)
