The food tastes very good here. The homemade lemonades are also very tasty. Very nice restaurant with an attractive outdoor area. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated inside.

It was an absolute blast. The food was really tasty and so was the ambience. The pictures on the internet don't do the place justice at all.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to Kinjo. Right from the start we had to wait a long time before we could even order. The starter was still ok, but the main course was really disappointing. I had sushi that was completely unseasoned and the fish had no flavor whatsoever. The California roll was carelessly rolled and didn't look particularly appealing. My friend had the lamb, which was completely cooked through, and the side dishes were also completely unseasoned. The waitress only responded to our complaint with a “sorry” and a free dessert, but unfortunately that couldn’t make up for the disappointment. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Too bad!

Very good sushi and grill restaurant. Very good quality of the food, from the starter to the main course to the dessert. Very friendly and courteous service. And all in a cozy, authentic atmosphere. Also very comfortable to sit outside. There are free parking spaces right in front of the door Definitely worth repeating.

This was our second time eating here. The food is very good and very freshly prepared, the atmosphere is nice. Definitely something different. The service is friendly. However, I found the terrible condition of the menu off-putting. If I had received such a menu on my first visit, I would have left without ordering anything.

Absolutely not recommended, has nothing to do with authentic cuisine. There was wasabi paste smeared under the nigiris, which absolutely doesn't belong there. The gyoza came with a sweet and sour sauce, which has nothing to do with Japanese cuisine. The cocktail was only 2/3 full. The service didn't even try to satisfy the guest, the restaurant was half empty and we had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks alone. We won't be coming back.

Dishes are Japanese style but not the way you would want as a connoisseur. Sweet and sour sauce for gyoza, wasabi as standard in sushi... no-go! Especially if you can't stand it. Drinks glasses only 2/3 full despite ice cubes - a shame. And the inferior service, including extreme waiting times with over 4 waitresses in a barely full restaurant, is unfortunately not convincing either. Ambience is ok.

Update on July 8th, 2024: We were here again today - every dish we ordered was still an aromatic delight! The quality of food, ambience and service remains at an unchanged high level. Great sushi restaurant in the middle of Bad Dürkheim. The location is great with great facilities. Great atmosphere to have a nice meal here. The food is of top quality and well prepared. You should take some time with you as there are sometimes problems with the service. But that is made up for by friendliness. We had ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, but we received the wrong one. Once I let them know it was exchanged straight away. Overall, I highly recommend everything.

Four of us had an appointment at Kinjo with friends. The restaurant was very busy that evening, unfortunately the windows were closed the whole time and there is probably no ventilation. It was therefore extremely warm throughout the evening and the air was stale. The window at the next table had a crack in one of the glass elements, so it was raining in and there was water on the window sill. The service staff was really very friendly, but unfortunately not very attentive. Orders took a long time and were sometimes forgotten. After the meal, no one proactively came to our table and asked what we wanted. There is definitely still a lot of room for improvement here. The food was really excellent. I've never had such delicious grilled chicken skewers, fantastic! And the main course, the Kinjo Mango with corn-fed chicken, was also great. The price-performance ratio is right. The ambience in Kinjo is a bit too dark for me personally. Nevertheless, I would like to come back and maybe the weather will be better so I can do that too Terrace can test.

Very unfriendly service unfortunately, I came there spontaneously with my wife, when I asked if there was still a place available outside, the answer was “It's full, see for yourself”. I then sat down inside, perplexed, only to realize that the air conditioning wasn't working. I would have liked to have given the food a chance, but not really...

Absolute recommendation! The dishes were always prepared with fresh ingredients, the service staff were always friendly and the food tasted delicious. The price is certainly a bit higher for the region, but worth every cent!

First the negative: We were there with a lot of people and ordered several steaks medium. 90% of the steaks ordered were completely cooked. Bad for such a price. Apparently you're a bit overwhelmed in the kitchen with so many steak orders. Mine was also completely mixed. Could hardly eat it. Making up for it with a free coffee isn't really the right solution either, considering you pay 30/32 euros for it. Personally, I would have liked the service to be friendlier with more smiles. I don't know that about Asians at all. The positive.. The sushi tastes really wonderful and is beautifully prepared. Ambiance also nice. Do I have to go again? Not necessarily just because of the sushi, unless I was nearby.

Wir waren mittags hier. Das Mittagsmenü war extrem lecker. Auch die Kinder mochten das Essen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Auch Sonderwünsche der Kinder wurden super entgegenkommend erfüllt. Zuletzt war das Ambiente super schön. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Simply WOW!!! The stylish ambience shines with many Asian details. The staff is extremely coordinated, organized and friendly and ensures a warm feeling. The food impressed with its taste, quality and loving preparation. A clear recommendation from me... Culinary trip to Asia at the highest level!

The food was generally okay. However, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit, the sushi is nothing special and the steak came too raw (it was ordered medium, it came English/blue) and drowned in sauce...

Service was really fast even on an almost full house. Food was plentiful, even as a chubby guy, I couldn't even finish one order due to the size. Other than that everyone was nice with us, and didn't even made fun of me eating with knife and fork. Best first restaurant experience ever. 11/10; 5 stars everywhere, if you want to EAT, then this is your restaurant.

I have been a guest at Kinjo Sushi & Grill three times so far. In my opinion, the quality is excellent and has not deteriorated since it opened. The menu offers a large selection of Asian dishes, but I always find it difficult to decide. You are always greeted in a friendly manner and the employees are very good at their jobs. The waiting time is reasonable for the quality and the order is always prepared very accurately and cleanly. I felt very comfortable during my three visits and am looking forward to my next trip to Bad Dürkheim so that I can of course enjoy my time here again. I strongly recommend booking a table in advance as Kinjo is very busy even on weekdays.

There were three of us in the restaurant, three girls, with a reservation for 6 p.m. So far everything was fine, the food was good, the ambience was ok... But: We were asked to leave at eight because the table was needed... An eviction at its best. It has to be said that we ladies haven't seen each other for two years, I came here from Munich specifically to chat with my girls in peace and then something like that... doesn't work at all. The mood was gone and ultimately we parted ways for the evening. It's a shame, hence only 3 stars.

The service from a male employee (mid-20s in age) was unfortunately remarkably poor on the day of our visit yesterday. Greetings were not returned. Questions were ignored. The food was forgotten twice. One meal too many was entered in the billing. Therefore there is only one star for the service. The food and the atmosphere, however, were very good.

Starter average but at least homemade (spring roll). Main course (sushi) top in all variations. Dessert (Japanese tiramisu) was great. Effort is made when preparing. Service partly great, partly flop. Ambience is rather modern and generally a bit darker. When there is a lot going on you have to open your mouth if you want to be served. If you just wait in silence it might take a long time for someone to come. The price is a little higher but is still within the range. We will be back.

Die Weinschorle war das beste! Wir hatten Udon-Nudeln (Udon in Tokyo) mit knusprige Ente und Kinjo Indochina (frisches Gemüse mit scharfer Soße und Sesamreis plus Rinderhüftsteak). Insofern können wir über das Sushi keine Aussage treffen... Optisch wurde alles ansprechend serviert. Zu den Nudeln: Die knusprige Ente war äußerst trocken und die Nudeln mit Glutamat und Salz überwürzt. Portion recht klein. Es gab drei Mini-Scheiben Möhren, einen halben Pilz und sieben bis acht Scheibchen Ente dazu. Zum Kinjo Indochina: Die Rinderhüftsteak-Streifen waren sehr gar und entsprechend trocken. Die scharfe Soße bestand darin, dass auf einer Seite der Tellerschale ein Klecks scharfer Chilisoße lag, während der Rest der Soße absolut überwürzt, jedoch in keinster Weise scharf war. Hier wurde das gesamte Gericht von Glutamat und vermutlich einer Fertigwürzmischung überschattet. Schärfe in Form frischer kleingeschnittener Chilis gab es leider nicht. Satt wurde ich leider auch nicht. Die Fleischstreifen waren mengenmäßig sehr überschaubar. Dazu war das angepriesene Gemüse einer den Teller zu einen Drittel bedeckenden Salatgarnitur gewichen. Nun könnte man entsprechend durch eine entsprechende Menge an Reis gesättigt werden. Leider war die Reisschale auf die Größe eines kleinen Eisbechers für maximal zwei Kugeln Eis ausgelegt. Beide Gerichte für jeweils 19,50 bzw. 18,50 EUR sind aufgrund fehlender Mengen an Gemüse und Fleisch, jedoch ausreichender Mengen an Glutamat für die Überwürzung absolut preislich unangemessen. Da kann man schon höherwertigeres erwarten. Daher nicht zu empfehlen. Unsere Antwort zur Bedienung auf Ihre Geschmacksfrage, dass es sehr mäßig war, wurde schnellends überhört und wir wurden weiter gefragt, ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten... Ambiente ist jedoch gut und glücklicherweise ließ der lokale Winzerwein zumindest den Gaumen in flüssiger Form erfreuen. Mehr als viel Luft nach oben in dieser Preisklasse

A very nice restaurant with friendly service and delicious food... clear recommendation

The restaurant is nicely decorated but unfortunately it is terribly loud and you have to concentrate a lot to follow the conversations at the table. At the beginning the service was good. Attentive and polite. But after dinner we sat with empty glasses all evening and no one asked anymore. We often eat sushi and I have to say that we didn't really like it at Kinjo. The rice wasn't completely soft and the fish was dry.

Kinjo ist unser Lieblingslokal, genau unser Geschmack, frische Lebensmittel werden hier frisch zubereitet, appetitlich angerichtet, super gewürzt, in einem wirklich fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angeboten. Das Essen hatte gut geschmeckt. Die Portion war gerade ausreichend. Zuhause angekommen bekam ich heftigen Durchfall. Der Service war sehr flott und zuvorkommend. Leider war es dort sehr laut. Es lief keine Hintergrundmusik, die hätte man bei dieser Lautstärke eh nicht gehört. Man musste schon sehr laut reden um sein Gegenüber zu verstehen. Die Speisekarte ist für Kunden die nicht regelmäßig asiatisch essen, sehr unübersichtlich. Preislich sehr teuer. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Es gibt bessere Alternativen in der Region.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, der beste besuch in einem Japanischen Restaurant den wir bisher hatten. Wenn der Anfahrtsweg aus Frankfurt nicht zu weit wäre, wären wir Stammgäste! Ambiente sehr schön, Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles perfekt, beim nächsten besuch im Wellnesshotel kommen wir wieder.

Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Wir sind dort hin wegen des Sushis aber es gibt sehr viele andere Optionen. Das Sushi war gut und es gab sehr viel Auswahl. Es ist super für verschiedene Veranstaltung weil jeder was finden kann. Ich würde aber jedem raten, vorher online zu reservieren weil es gegen Abend richtig voll wurde.

Wir waren leider etwas enttäuscht. Tischreservierung war kein Problem, trotz vergeblichen Anrufs unsererseits, wurden wir umgehend zurückgerufen. Klasse! Tisch haben wir für 18:30h reserviert. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, eigentlich schon überfüllt, da sich ca. ab 19 Uhr draußen eine sehr lange Warteschlange gebildet hatte. Die Geräuschkulisse ist extrem, die Beleuchtung der Location sehr dunkel Vorspeise kam sehr schnell, direkt nach dem Aperitif, die Hauptspeise allerdings 45 Minuten später. Die Gerichte sind appettitlich angerichtet. Das Mango-Kokosnussmilch Gericht war mir persönlich zu süß, etwas Pfiff mit Schärfe oder Säure hätte dem Gericht bestimmt gut getan, die andere Hauptspeise mit den Udon Nudeln war jetzt auch nicht der "Reißer"- ABER das ist Geschmackssache! Bedienungen waren freundlich und waren sehr präsent. Wir sind nach dem Essen und dem Bezahlen relativ schnell verschwunden, um Platz für die wartenden Personen zu machen. Preis Leistung liegt u. E. nicht in Relation.

Für mich Überraschung pur! Gutes Ambiente mit warmen Farben und Beleuchtung, wo man sich gerne auf dem Mobilar aufhält. Für mich wichtig war das Barrierefreie, wo ich mit dem Rollstuhl gut fahren konnte. Das Essen sehr lecker, gut angerichtet und das Auge asst mit. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam.
