Noise Pollution from Outdoor Drinking Areas – A Call for Consideration in Residential Neighborhoods Dear owners and operators of the surrounding bars and restaurants, dear guests, we are addressing you with an urgent concern: The increasing noise pollution caused by the intensive use of outdoor drinking areas in our neighborhood is massively impacting the quality of life of local residents. What was once welcomed as a vibrant restaurant scene has become a daily burden in recent months. Especially during the week, starting in the early evening hours, it is regularly so loud that peace and quiet are almost impossible. Conversations, laughter, and the noise levels of entire groups mean that after a strenuous day at work, you can neither open a window nor read a book in peace – let alone concentrate on work or relax. Even after 10 p.m. – although many establishments officially close then – it often remains noisy for a long time. Customers linger outside the establishments, chat loudly on the street, call for taxis, or, sometimes under the influence of alcohol, roam the residential area noisily. It becomes particularly critical on weeknights, when most people are sleeping or preparing for the upcoming workday. A special appeal therefore goes out to you, dear guests: Please remember that the restaurants are located in the middle of a residential area – with several businesses right on the same corner. Sound carries far, especially on the narrow streets. We understand that you want to enjoy a pleasant evening – but we sincerely ask you: Be considerate of the people who live directly next to and above the restaurants. A little quieter conversations, leaving earlier, and avoiding loud behavior on the way home make a big difference. Our request to you as a restaurant business: Actively raise your guests' awareness of the housing situation in the area – through friendly information on menus, notices, or your employees. Please strictly adhere to the legally prescribed closing times. Support the prompt clearing of outdoor areas after closing time. If necessary, consider technical measures to reduce noise (e.g., soundproof walls, greenery, etc.). Note on my own behalf: Due to the ongoing noise pollution, I have already contacted the responsible city council and made the problem clear. If the situation does not noticeably improve in the near future – especially with regard to weekday evenings – I will be forced to file a formal, written complaint together with other affected neighbors. A persistent disregard for the interests of residents cannot and will no longer be tolerated. We urgently ask for your understanding and cooperation. Only through mutual consideration can the harmonious coexistence of restaurants and residential areas succeed. Sincerely, Your neighbors

Loved it. Food was bit expensive but justifyable given the foods tastiness. If you dont speak german you should ask for a english menu witch I was told there are but was not offered it. Anyways the burgers are easy to understand.

Really tasty burgers! The brioche bun is really nice and is a good choice for a juicy burger. The burgers have quite a lot of sauce, it may be better with just a bit less sauce. I’d like the meat patty flavor and texture to come through a bit more. The fries are also really interesting. They’re cut sort of like a canoe shape 😄 They are really airy.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. There were three of us and there was another couple sitting at the next table, so there were only 5 people in the restaurant. Still we had to do 50!!!! We waited minutes until we got our food, and Wolt drivers were coming in and out the whole time to pick up the burgers. Why do you accept such orders when you don't even have time to serve the people in the store. To be honest, the pricing is pretty outrageous. A burger costs around €15 without fries. They cost another €4.80 which is relatively normal but for a sauce you pay another €1.20. Sorry but that is absurd. I leave €20 for a burger with fries without a drink and then have to pay extra money for a measly little sauce, which is then not enough for all the fries? €3.80 for tap water is also rough, but you can get a beer for that in many places. To put it bluntly, it felt as if they were charging you for the air you need to breathe. The main thing is to make money, customer experience doesn't matter. The burger tastes good but it's not better than Ruffs Burger or similar shops in Munich. Better go somewhere else :)

Nice atmosphere, small, cozy, friendly service lady. Was there with my son (13). He absolutely loved his burger and fries. His only “criticism” was that the portion was so big that he couldn’t finish it all.

- mac and cheese, the macaroni was a bit undercooked, but i liked everything else about it - the hot brownie wasn’t really hot, nor warm, but was still tasty although the taste was quite good, these minor changes could make the restaurant 5 stars EDIT: i returned for the mac and cheese and this time it was cooked to perfection. updating this review to 5 stars.

Unfortunately we didn't find it that tasty here. The burgers were ok, but unfortunately nothing more. Meat too dry and definitely not of the best quality. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great either. At least the lady who served us. For example, we got the wheat beer in the bottle. When we asked, we were given a 0.3l light glass. 🤷‍♀️ It's a shame, the ambience would be really great.

Very tasty, the best burger place for me. The staff is very friendly and you have to wait a maximum of 30 minutes for your food. Although I rarely eat meat substitutes, I find the vegetarian burgers very tasty. The fries are exceptionally good. The prices are also okay and if it were a little more expensive it would be worth it. Thank you to the staff for putting in so much effort.

Warm shop with a nice atmosphere and relatively fast service. I especially liked the fries but the burger was a bit burnt. A bit overpriced for the quality. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area but there are better shops. €25 a burger with a double patty, a portion of fries and a beer. It would be fairer at €20 for the whole thing. Complimentary sauce, mustard and ketchup is offered at every table for you to put as much as you like.

We were the only ones in the restaurant and waited more than 40 minutes for our food. We got very small portions and the salad wasn't good, it tasted very old and limp. Even €5.10 for a Spezi from the bottle is crazy! No recommendation!!! Also went somewhere else for mac and cheese, it wasn't really good either

Food is good but rather more expensive, but the service was disappointing; You were crammed into a small table of four in the next room with strangers without really being asked or taking your time; there were probably too many reservations. Waiter rarely came by. Therefore, a rather disappointing experience in terms of service and next time I would prefer to go.

Mashallah, simply the best burger in Munich. At lunchtime it's under 15 euros for a whole menu, and the waitresses are always super friendly, no matter who is there. We always enjoy coming back!

It is very good burger place. It is not the best burger I’ve ever had in my life, but there’s also absolutely nothing I could complain about it. The service is very, very friendly and polite though! The place is somewhat smaller, but very cosy and warm. What is very good is that you get mayo, ketchup, and some other sauces for free on every table.

Uber order from King Loui Our Uber order from King Loui was mixed. We ordered two burgers, but one of them came wrong. The avocado burger tasted okay, while the second burger unfortunately didn't impress us. The fries should be positively highlighted, as they were very good – crispy and tasty. Overall the experience was pretty mediocre, hence a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

Unfortunately really disappointing. It was drafty the whole time where we were staying, so it was quite cold and uncomfortable. We waited over an hour for our food. When we ordered it was noted that we wanted our burger meat medium rare. After we finally got the food, the meat was inedible. It was completely fried. Very big disappointment.

The food at King Lui is simply delicious. The burgers and fries are available in many great varieties and the service is uniquely friendly and personable. The store is modern but at the same time furnished to make you feel really comfortable. I can only recommend paying a visit to King Lui. Everything just fits there!

Burgers with character, juicy and just the right amount of a certain snottyness that standardized system catering can no longer offer. Mac'n'cheese bun is a real hit, you should have made it at least once. Service very friendly and authentic, nice atmosphere. Definitely a recommendation in the jungle of Munich burger shops (Pun intended). Overall prices are within reasonable limits for Munich conditions.
