Original Korean food. Large selection of real Korean dishes, not just the usual bibimbab and bulgogi, which of course is nothing to sneeze at either. I think this is the tastiest Korean in Hamburg!

In my opinion mediocre. There is a really extensive menu selection and the food seems authentic, but the taste was not that convincing. Positive: There was the Milkis drink.

The beef grill was amazing. Fab, quick and friendly service. Sitting outside in the winter could have been uncomfortable but it was ok.

The food here is incredibly delicious and authentic – almost as if your Korean parents were cooking for you. The Tangsuyuk, the absolute highlight on the menu, is particularly recommended. The portions are so generous that you're guaranteed to be full and maybe even roll home. The banchans are also super tasty and round the whole thing off perfectly. The employees are also very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommended!

I can recommend the very tasty food to everyone

Unfortunately, it happened like this: we were at the Korean kimchi festival and unfortunately we didn't like anything at all. The eggplant salad tasted bitter. The bitter substances in the eggplants apparently were not washed out before preparation... Raw tofu (salad) tasted extremely unnaturally sour, i.e. spoiled. I have to say that we know a lot about tofu because we make tofu ourselves in the family. Kimchi Jjigae also tasted very bland, which I don't know before. Tasty is different. The only thing that was halfway ok were gimbaps and vegetarian Japchae salad. You could handle it with a lot of soy sauce. Conclusion: Unfortunately, another disappointment in the search for delicious, authentic Korean cuisine.

It doesn't taste as good as before. The pork knuckle was not cooked well, and the stir-fried mixed vegetables didn't feel like they were cooked by a Korean chef.

The hamburger is delicious Korean food, but I don’t recommend the sweet and sour pork because the flour coating is very thick.

We're always there during our lunch break and that Lunch is recommended. The duck is really good and the vegetables are always crisp and fresh.

Foods are delicious. We can sit outside to enjoy and grill. Grill is always the best here. Rice wine is highly recommended. We can drink warm or cold, it depends on the weather.

The meat was good and the very polite waiter explained to us how grilling meat worked but very little quantity of raw vegetables to be grilled, 2 mushrooms and half of an onion for 2 people, the other vegetables with very little seasoning and little variety, the lettuce to wrap the meat was yellowed, for what we paid I expected better quality and greater quantity.

The food was terrible. Poor quality meat. too hard. My child and I couldn't eat. I grilled 5 slices and sent them back because I really couldn't swallow them. I asked for an exchange and ordered new food, but the shop owner didn't want to exchange. My child had to go home hungry. The grilled meat platter cost 50 euros and had to be spit out. We will never return. This is the worst Korean restaurant in Hamburg and I understand why it used to be so busy and now it isn't.

It's incomprehensible that the rating isn't higher. For me it's currently the best Korean restaurant in Hamburg. The stone pot at the Dolsut Bibimbab with tofu is extremely hot, as it should be, and the side dishes are all free with the dish. The only thing that would be desirable would be more vegan options and/or information on the menu as to which dish is also possible as a vegan option.

We liked it very much. The food was delicious and the service was nice. However, I don't understand why some people get a schnapps and others don't, but since it's a gift, you just ask yourself if you weren't a good guest. No matter... we'll be back.

It was my first time eating Korean BBQ. We were served in a friendly manner and the restaurant manager stayed at our table and helped us with the grill. The food is freshly prepared and it's not too expensive. I can only recommend it to anyone with 2 or more people!

The waitress was somewhat rude, we felt ignored and unwelcome. The first time, although the service was kind of bad, the food was great. However, the second time we went there, we ordered a chicken dish, and it was a huge disappointment. We were literally just eating chicken bones (perhaps because we arrived late and they had run out of other cuts), and when we mentioned it to the waitress, she argued that this was how the dish was supposed to be. We then asked for a replacement, and they brought us two drumsticks, but they were still bloody inside. We were left speechless. If you plan to order chicken, I wouldn't recommend going there after 8:00 PM. The seafood pancake is good though.

You sit outside. In April at 10 degrees. Even with a patio heater we were freezing. The marinated meat tasted like nothing. Service was completely overwhelmed. There is a far better Korean restaurant in Hamburg. That was really bad.

First class prepared squid and jab chae with lots of traditional, super fresh side dishes. Service very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Dish with lots of vegetables and octopus... Very spicy, even too spicy, but very good... I just wanted vegetables and there are plenty of them in the dishes. Korean family atmosphere with well-cooked and traditional specialties... It's a change from Chinese and Thai restaurants.

Food was great, authentic and a lot of choices. Service was friendly and attentive. For a packed night, food was served pretty quickly. Only complaint is the environment on the terrace: floor made out of pieces of rug, which looked dirty and sticky. But the worst was the urine smell around the tables.

I came to eat alone at noon and ordered an M14 beef soup with rice. The store gave me a side dish as a gift. The beef soup mainly contains beef, bean sprouts and green onions. There is not too much meat. The seasoning is a bit like Shin Ramen. It feels average and the price is not expensive. It costs 10.5 euros in total. Considering the cost-effectiveness, it is a no-brainer. There are some Korean decorative elements in the store. The store owner is Korean and a male clerk speaks English very well and can pay by credit card.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation. The place wasn't very busy, the decor seemed bland, service was okay, food was okay. I can highly recommend the Mandu. Large selection of food.

The food is really very tasty. The service is always friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the dishes. There is only one point deduction for the inventory. I'm really not demanding when it comes to things like this, but there needs to be some investment here. Everything is pretty rancid and spoils the overall impression.

Kimchi is a wonderful restaurant and an asset to Eimsbüttel. I've been going there regularly for years, have eaten a lot of different things and have always been very satisfied. I can't quite understand the negative reviews, the food is really excellent and the service is friendly and fast. The price is also more than fair. It should be clear that Korean cuisine is significantly different (e.g. spices, meat, preparation, etc.) than German cuisine, but there are still some reviews here that deduct stars for this, which is really strange. Luckily, Kimchi serves authentic Korean food and if you go there and then rate it, you should be in the mood for it. The interior is really getting old, but I still feel very comfortable there and don't miss anything. Somehow I actually prefer it to the many pretentiously spruced up shops that no longer have any charm.

They let us in for lunch even before opening hours, been here twice already, first was dinner kinda crowded and servings was a bit slow because of number of guest. But the luch was Great because they have time to accommodate you and help you with your orders. Great food the price i may say fair and also tasty.

Ich war nach einigen Jahren mal wieder hier. Das Essen war früher besser. Das Ambiente ist mittlerweile eher abgrockt und es steht sehr viel Leergut im Eingangsbereich. Die Tische sind klebrig und werden anscheinend nur in der Mitte abgewischt. Ich schaue vielleicht in ein paar Jahren wieder hier rein

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung und der guten Rezessionen ausprobiert und wir waren total enttäuscht. Schon beim Betreten des Lokals hatte ich das Gefühl mich in eine zum Lokal umfunktionierte Lagerhalle zu befinden. Null Charm und bei einer Außentemperatur von 0 Grad waren gerade gefühlt 10 Grad mehr im Lokal. Der Service war freundlich. Das Essen wiederum (80€ für 2 Personen) war dann eine Enttäuschung. Die marinieren Rinderripppen waren Gummi und die Beilagen fade. Ich hab nicht viel Erfahrung mit koreanischer Esskultur, jedoch bin ich nicht ganz unerfahren was die asiatische Küche angeht. Das war jedoch ein Reinfall. Für mich ein klares....nicht wieder!!

Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Toll, toll, toll 👍👍👍

War super glücklich in diesen Koreanischen Restaurant. Das tteokbokki war superlecker der Service hervorragend und hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und hätte Stunden dort bleiben können. 감사합니다 🙏 Heute 10.11. 2023 zum 2ten mal da essen gewesen. Einfach super. Sehr lecker und meine Freunde waren auch begeistert. 함부르크 맛집 입니다. 사장님이 한국분이셔서 정이 넘치시고 음식도 맛있습니다. 테라스에는 삼겹살과 차돌을 구우면서 막걸리를 마시는 외국인들을 쉽게 볼 수 있습니다. 이 곳에서만 마실 수 있는 맥주는 정말 맛있었어요!! 다음에 함부르크를 간다면 다시 방문할 계획입니다.

Zufrieden war ich! Ich habe insgesamt ein Monat in Südkorea verbracht, und ich bin einfach größer Fan von Südkoreanischen Küchen. Also die Portion sind alle riesig, wie es immer dort gestellt wird. Ambiente war nicht so ganz koreanisch, aber die Mitarbeiterinnen sind (glaub ich alle) koreanisch, die reden koreanisch, es macht dann so bessere Ambiente finde ich. Ich hatte Kimbab (koreanische sushi) als Vorspeise 8,5/10. Das war sehr lecker und gut gefüllt. Die Banchan (side dish) 8/10 waren auch viel, kimchi und tofu waren meine Lieblings. Dann hatte ich Jjampong (Nudeln mit Meeresfrüchten) 8,2/10 einfach perfektes Essen während regnerischem Abend. Es kam mit mega viel Meeresfrüchten, habe ich nicht erwartet, also schon mal Punkt. Portion war wie gesagt, riesig, konnte ich nicht aufessen, weil zu viel war. Die Suppe gefällt mir nicht so, es war kaum Gewürze. Es könnte noch schärfer und salzig sein. Aber für den Preis habe ich wirklich kaum Beschwerden. Man kann auch auf Terrasse essen. Man kann auch hier mit Karte bezahlen. Lass euch vorbeikommen!

Hervorragendes koreanisches Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig und die Preise sehr fair. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt einfach ausgezeichnet. Schöne Atmosphäre, speziell der Außenbereich ist zu empfehlen. Der Service war freundlich. Wer die koreanische Küche mag, wird hier sehr zufrieden sein. Klare Empfehlung.

Das Essen war richtig lecker und schnell zubereitet, die Außenterasse schützt vor Sonne und so sitzt man nicht unmittelbar an der Straße. Die Getränke und vegetarische Auswahl könnte etwas größer sein für mein Gusto. Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung, allerdings fand ich die Toiletten nicht ok..Da sehr dreckig und voller Spinnen. 😅

Das Essen war ganz lecker: am Tisch gegrilltes Entrecote und Hähnchen am Tisch in der Grill Pfanne. Wir haben Mittags gegessen und hatten das Gefühl, nicht wirklich willkommen zu sein. Der Kellner war sehr bemüht und hat alles toll erklärt und hat das Fleisch gut gegrillt. Aber das Ambiente ist leider sehr abgenutzt und alt.

Das Essen ist vielfältig und sehr Lecker. Bei Fragen wurde immer nett geantwortet.

This place has some kind of weird atmosphere going on. It looks a bit strange inside and on the terrace. But the Bulgogi is always tasty and the fried chicken too. Lunch was around 10-12€ per dish.
