I went there today with my wife. It was a hearty and wonderful meal for the first time in a long time. It was delicious and fresh, and at a great price. The staff were also very friendly. I even wanted to take the leftovers home with me. They packaged it very stylishly for me. It looked very appealing. Highly recommended.

We've eaten at Kikeriki many times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, one of our dishes today included a piece of chicken that tasted strange. After smelling it, we discovered it was spoiled and smelled of feces. I hope we don't get food poisoning. It's a real shame, but we won't be eating here again.

My husband and I went there for the first time, and it will likely be our last. We tried a small selection on site, so it was as "fresh" as possible. Nevertheless, we haven't had such a bad meal in a very long time. Aside from the lack of hygiene (both in the food truck and the surrounding tables), the food didn't look good either. Everything was soggy, and we sincerely hope we didn't upset our stomachs. This must have been a popular spot in the past where we met friends. Based on our current experience, we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It was very tasty, more like 4/5, but the value for money was excellent and the portions were generous. Hence, even 5 stars!

We worked around the corner, and after seeing a few people enjoying the bowl, we had to try it. We weren't disappointed; the service was friendly and relaxed, and the food was delicious.

Rice with chicken was okay, but the "cucumber salad" tasted of nothing.

I discovered this place two months ago, and since then, I feel like I've been there at least once a week, and I find it very, very good. It's really great value for money. The portions are always very filling. Occasionally, the chicken pieces are over-breaded, but I suspect they just hired new employees and they need some training. Otherwise, it's highly recommended. Still number 1 in Cologne 👏🏼

I was a long-time regular customer and truly loved it—but unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined recently. In my last review, I was very kindly offered a portion on the house—I really appreciate that. However, my current order was disappointing again: a lot of breading, hardly any meat. I really hope that customer feedback is taken seriously—the potential is definitely there. It would be nice to see the old quality returned.

The food was really, really delicious, but the subsequent food poisoning pretty much ruined it for me. I would have loved to eat here again, but I don't need that experience again.

I had the sweet chili chicken – absolutely delicious! The dish was perfectly seasoned, and the meat was deliciously crispy. What was especially nice was that the meat was halal, which I really appreciated. The service was also excellent – ​​friendly, attentive, and professional. Definitely recommended!

Delicious food and very friendly team

I've always loved the food, but over the past few months, the quality has declined significantly, which is why I don't like ordering there anymore, even though I used to eat there several times a week or month. The portions suddenly became smaller, the food was extremely dry and so hard that you couldn't chew it, the portions were different even though it was the same dish, etc. It's a real shame.

The best bowls in Cologne. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, anything but boring. Cucumber, cilantro, and lime add a fresh kick and acidity. The chicken is well-fried, the sauces delicious, and have a high meat content. The price? Ridiculously cheap… 5/5, definitely a recommendation.

I ordered two bowls for delivery, the Chicken was delicious, in particular I would have liked them to only sell the chicken without the rice and the rest of the things it comes with because it overshadows the rich flavor of the chicken.

We really enjoyed the bowls from Kikeriki! The price-performance ratio was particularly great and the portions were very large. We had the B1 and the B3, both very tasty, we particularly liked the B3. The breaded chicken pieces were well seasoned and very crispy, which was often tasty. 1/2 pieces might have been a bit too hard. We will definitely eat here again :)

Asian "Style", unbeatable price!

I ate a lot of fried chicken and the chicken tasted good, but the price was incredibly fair. The owners bring the chicken to the same quality every time and a visit to Kikiriki is highly recommended Always my pleasure.

Ordered 2 (B3 and B7) bowls and was amazed to see the portion size, it was huge. The taste of the chicken was good, nothing too extraordinary. I expected hot and spicy bowl to be spicy but unfortunately it wasn't. The lime chicken bowl was different and tasted good. Overall, it was a good experience.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, it's mercilessly overhyped. Ordered here based on several recommendations. We had the All-In-One starter and the Saigon bowl. The starters were fine. Both the gyoza and the spring roll were tasty - but nothing special either. The bowl, on the other hand, was unfortunately an absolute failure. First of all, the rice was very 'al dente', i.e. not completely cooked through. In addition, the entire bowl only tasted of vinegar and lime due to the pickled vegetables - there was no hint of garlic at all. At some point I pushed all the vegetables to the side and drank what felt like half a liter of water to somehow neutralize the whole thing. Unfortunately, the chicken bites themselves failed. The breading and fat were so prominent that it almost tasted like fries from the snack bar. I give the one additional star for the consistency of the chicken bites. The breading was cross and the meat was juicy. Unfortunately, the taste was a total failure.

I didn't actually expect bowls at a "Kikeriki - Asian Fried Chicken" shop. Now that wouldn't matter if the bowls were at least good... The "meat" consists of 90% breading, is dry and inedible. The rice is mushy. The Korean Style Chicken wasn't even spicy. The edamame were completely overcooked and unsalted. The “pickles” are beetroot. The “fresh herbs” are parsley. This place should be called German Fried Chicken, because unfortunately it has nothing to do with Asian cuisine.

Not recommended! I was at this chicken cart recently and was really shocked at the unprofessionalism of the two waiters. They were extremely unfriendly, rude and left a very bad impression. Instead of caring about the guests, they were disrespectful and seemed like they had no interest in working there at all. What particularly bothered me was the hygiene. They both worked with a single glove and used the same one for everything - it was really disgusting! One gets the impression that cleanliness is not a priority here. Definitely not a place I would recommend!

After lots of good feedback, we also wanted to try the fried chicken. Unfortunately it wasn't tasty at all. Everything felt way too dry, no meat but just breading. Some places were so dark that I'm actually sure that I was given leftovers or warmed up food.

Far too sweet for me personally, I had to give up after half of it, even peanut everything just tasted like popcorn, overpowering all other tastes

I think this spot is SO incredibly underrated. I came back two times because it was just THAT good. So did my friends. Conveniently located near the train station and in a food cart pod with other options, GO HERE. It’s so good. The person working there is also so sweet and kind, really great customer service. I always ordered B7, was my favorite. Bowl is also big enough to split if you’re not too hungry!

Ordered via UberEats, fast delivery, good quality, simple but still something new. Very satisfied and really surprised by the portion size. Definitely not the last time I ordered!

The food is quite tasty. The chicken was very juicy and crispy. All the other side dishes are really good too. However, the wow experience is missing a bit. Good, but not exceptional. Maybe we approached it with too high expectations because the food truck is quite hyped. Unfortunately we also had to wait a relatively long time (approx. 30 minutes). But the portions are more than generous. One bowl is easily enough for 1.5 meals. So price/performance is outstanding.

The fried chicken is really incredibly tasty, tender and spicy! My favorite is the Lemon Garlic Chicken.

I love Kikeriki, I sometimes order there weekly. I've never had chicken wings so tasty anywhere before. You should definitely try it if you feel like something other than pizza, burgers and the like.

Your food tastes really great. The only thing that bothers you are the unpredictable times. We wanted to order during our lunch break today, this morning it said the store opens at 12 p.m. and now it says you can only order from 2 p.m. Would have liked to order for 1 p.m.

Very tasty Asian chicken wings, super crispy on the outside and good meat on the inside. Add various Asian-inspired sauces, a few pickled vegetables and you have a delicious meal. The entire team is super friendly and clearly has fun at work. Now one of our favorite food trucks!

I was at the food truck recently and absolutely loved it! The service was great and the food was simply great. I was particularly impressed by the friendly staff. When I mentioned how good the Garlic Chicken Wings looked, they gave me three pieces to try. A really kind gesture that made my visit unforgettable. I can only recommend this food truck.

We met kikerki at the street food festival in Düsseldorf. And honestly. That was the worst meal I've ever had on my plate. Burnt chicken wings in sugar water. Plus sprouts and salad carelessly thrown onto the plate. Next to me the first plates, still well filled, flew into the trash. It was really inedible. Too bad about the food.

Habe über Ubereats bestellt, nirgendwo stand was von roter Beete. Joa könnte die gesamte Bestellung wegwerfen, bin allergisch gegen rote Beete. Warum steht das nirgendwo, dann hätte ich nicht bestellt. Danke.

Das beste Fried Chicken, was ich bis dato gegessen habe!

Ich habe heute über Uber Eats das erste mal bestellt und ich war mehr als positiv überrascht! Das krosse Hähnchen und die Marinade waren mega lecker. Habe lange nicht mehr so ein gutes Hähnchen gegessen!

Das essen war perfekt besser geht es nicht Mann bekommt echt viel für den Preis !

Das Essen hier ist absolut empfehlenswert! Schmeckt sehr lecker und frisch. Dazu ist es auch noch halal (wurde bestätigt durch eine PN auf Instagram)

Wirklich mega lecker! Die Marinaden sind der Hammer, die Portionen auch echt groß zum satt werden. Nur die Seoul Wings kann ich nicht empfehlen, sie waren auch sehr salzig (vllt trifft es auch nicht meinen Geschmack).

Haben hier zuletzt gegessen und es war wirklich sehr sehr gut. So gut, dass ich mir gedacht habe, hier muss ich wirklich mal eine Bewertung schreiben.

Naja...in meinem Spinat war mehr als reichlich Sand, da wurde wohl nicht gut genug gespült und das Chicken ist do deklariert, dass man davon ausgeht keine Knochen zu sehen. Von rote Beete steht bei der Beschreibung des Gerichtes online auch nichts.

Der Service war ganz in Ordnung. 2 nette Mitarbeiter, die uns freundlich bedient haben und uns das Menü erklärt haben, da wir zum ersten mal da waren. Ein Stern Abzug, da der Tisch nicht gesäubert wurde und wir keine Servietten bekommen haben. Zum Essen kann ich so viel sagen, dass meiner Meinung nach die Kombination zwischen Chicken Wings (mit Knochen) mit einer Holzgabel als Bowl nicht gut passt. Der Reis war lecker, die Jalapenos haben nach nichts geschmeckt, der Salat war leider nicht lecker. Für das Hühnchen würde ich nochmal kommen, es war sehr lecker. Als Gesamtpaket passt es aber meiner Meinung nach einfach nicht. Ambiente war ganz ok, es gibt begrenzte Plätze und es wird aus einem „Wohnmobil“ aus serviert. Die Bowl empfehle ich nicht, das Hühnchen aber schon.

Komischerweise wurde der Laden bei UberEats als Koreanisch deklariert. Daher hatten wir Gangnam Chicken, Tokyo Chicken und Seoul Chicken bestellt. Ich möchte vorweg sagen, dass das Preisleistungsverhältnis gut ist und jedes der Chicken geschmeckt hat. Jedoch hatte das Gericht nichts mit korean fried Chicken zu tun, auch wenn es das impliziert. Das Chicken ist nicht knusprig. Außerdem wird Langkornreis verwendet wie in Süd und Südostasien üblich. Rundkornreis ist üblich in Ostasien. Das angeblich scharfe Seoul Chicken war für Koreaner höchstens so scharf wie ein Radler, herb für einen 50 jährigen deutschen Mann auf dem Land schmeckt. Nach diesen Erkenntnissen dass es sich nicht um einen koreanischen Imbiss handelt, binnich auf die Instagramseite gegangen. Dort gab es ein Foto in dem eine Hand einen Mandu (Gyoza) selbst formt. Weil die Bilder in Google alle nach gekauften Fertig-Gefrier-Mandu(Gyoza) aussahen, war ich sehr überrascht. Ich machte eine Bildersuche in Google und mein Verdacht bestätigte sich. Das Foto welches impliziert dass hier Mandus (Gyoza) selbst gemacht werden ist aus dem Internet und nicht aus der eigenen Herstellung. Ohne das Kimchi gegessen zu haben, kann ich mit 100%iger Sicherheit sagen, dass hier Fertig-Kimchi gekauft wird (dieser kostet in 1kg Pötten ca. 10€). Fazit: Wer kein koreanisches Essen essen möchte ist hier richtig und findet leckeres Essen zum fairen Preis. Edit: Danke für die lange Antwort. Ich werde das Chicken auch mal. Vor Ort probieren kommen. Und den Kimchi muss ich dann wohl auch testen.

This is one of the finest food cart I have found in cologne. The owners are so wonderful that they make their food with love and ask for your preference. This is my first time, and I will go there every time I have time.

I ordered the Seoul Hot and Juicy chicken. On the whole, good, would go back again. But there is room for improvement. It shocks me that despite atleast 3 reviews mentioned the hard rice half cooked rice, I experienced the same. The chicken was good, the marinade as mentioned was too sweet even by European standards. The server was smart and handed me a plastic glove as the marinade is known to be sticky.

Ich habe mir den gemischten Teller gegönnt. Die Anrichteweise war sehr ansprechend und kreativ. Die Chickenwings fand ich sehr schmackhaft, jedoch hat mich das nicht aus dem Socken gehauen. Jedoch war das Verhältnis Reis zu Salat nicht ganz verhältnismäßig. Kann man mal probieren.

Portionen recht groß für den Preis aber Geschmack könnte verbessert werden. Sehr süße Marinade und die 2 Sorten die wir bestellt haben, haben fast gleich geschmeckt... Der Reis war nicht ganz durch bzw seht trocken? Nimmt doch einfach nen Reiskocher und macht ne riesige Portion, da wird der Reis wenigstens gut drin.

Ich hatte: Indonesian peanut-Chicken 7 Stk + Köstliche Marinade + guter Cucumbersalat und Rote Bete -- Der Reis war zu ungekocht. Und Gyoza 6 stk + leckere Taschen mit Sesam garniert + schmackhafter Dip Alles in allem nicht mein übliches koreanische Essen. Aber Preis Leistung vollkommen okay Aber recht üppig und gute Qualität. Aber der Reis war echt schade. Fazit: würde wieder bestellen Aber eher ohne Reis

Ich habe Chicken Saigon beim Streetfood Festival im Landschaftspark Nord in Duisburg gegessen...knusprig von außen, innen zart und saftig, super gewürzt...einfach nur 😋

Wir waren übers Wochenende in Köln und sind hier zufällig drauf gestoßen. Das beste chicken seit langem. Haben direkt mehrere Sachen zum probieren nachbestellt. Schade das es euch nur in Köln gibt.

Das Essen war Ultra schön angerichtet ! Die Gyoza mit Chicken waren ziemlich schmackhaft. Kimchi war lecker der seoul Chicken war Nice, Sai gon lemon garlic war auch lecker.. aber.. es hat alles iwie gleich geschmeckt. Wir haben kein unterschied geschmeckt, und die Erdnuss Sauce war leider kein Hit 🤷🏻‍♀️ am besten waren die 🥟 gyoza.. es schmeckt anders und ist nicht das gewohnte asiatische Essen was man in Köln sonst bekommt. Es lohnt sich probiert es.. Die Lieferung kam über UberEats zügig und der Fahrer war nett.

Veggie gyoza are good. The fried chicken are quite greasy and the rice was then accordingly quite greasy too. Apart from the fact that I find rice inappropriate for this meal. Would not necessarily order again now.

Leider gar nicht gut. Viel zu viel Teig und die Wings waren irgendwie zersägt (?) Damit es nach mehr aussieht, leider splittert dadurch der Knochen. Soßen viel zu süß und leider auch nicht gut zu unterscheiden, da zu generisch. Reis war aus der Tüte (?) und passte so gar nichts zum eigentlich asiatischen Chicken.

Ich habe über Lieferando den Truck gefunden und bin daraufhin sofort dahin gefahren. Es hat sich so sehr gelohnt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist extrem geil. Ich habe das Gangnam-Style chicken und das Lemon Garlic chicken bestellt. Beide waren sehr lecker. Die Marinade schön würzig und leicht süß in Kombination mit Knobi Reis und Rote Beete, Sojasprossen und Petersilie ist der Hammer. Dazu das Hähnchen schön knusprig. Meine Erwartungen wurden getoppt. Ich kann es sehr weiterempfehlen!!!

Lecker, jedoch noch viel Potenzial. Die Marinaden sind sehr süß. Der Salat, der auf den Reis kommt ist auch süß(-lich) und somit ist es einfach "zu viel". Die Bedienung ist sehr nett, kann aber was die Speisekarte anbelangt nicht unbedingt weiterhelfen.

Foodtruck: Sehr lecker, eine große Portion, sehr knusprige Hähnchenteile mit Reis, verschiedenen Soßen und Salat. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Okay, but definitely room for improvement. The chicken was crunchy, but lacked flavor and sauce. The rice (seemingly of the parboiled variety) was also not amazing, a switch to Jasmine would be better. The pickled vegetables were a nice accompaniment, and broke through the heaviness of the chicken.
