If I had known that there was such a delicious Korean restaurant in Cologne, I would have stayed there instead of Frankfurt. The kimchi stew made me forget my homesickness right away, and the kimbap was also delicious with a combination of delicious local ingredients. (I took the kimbap because I couldn't hold back my hunger.) The kimchi pancake reminded me of soju, but it was a shame there was no soju. I highly recommend it if you crave Korean food while traveling in Korea.

Highly recommended, the food tasted great

My meal (Gganpungie) was good, the meat was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and it wasn't overdone with sauce like in some other places, but was well balanced especially with the vegetables and the coleslaw. The service was very, very nice and I can only recommend it.

Super tasty bibimbap, different types of vegetables and large portions. As a regular customer, I go there more often when I want authentic Korean food. Good price-performance ratio. Friendly staff. I can recommend it.

Solid, no-frills restaurant. You order at the counter, the food is delicious and is brought to the table. The decor is very simple, definitely not a restaurant for a first date, but for evenings when you feel like really good Korean food.

Great place for Korean food. Price/performance is top. I had the 짜장라면. They were very tasty. Also the Mandus. Unfortunately I'm not from Cologne, otherwise I would eat there more often. 음식을 좋았어요 ♥

Ordered ramen from bibimbab. I'm 100% sure they used Nongshim's "Soon" instant ramen for the dish. Taken €11 for something that costs €1.50 in the supermarket. Absolute impudence!

Ich empfehle hier was mit kimchi zu probieren. Absolut lecker und auch für kimchi Neulinge gedacht, da es nicht intensiv ist. Hier auch in vegan zu haben. Gibt also keine Ausrede mehr das nicht zu probieren;)

A friendly and cosy small restaurant. It offers enough popular traditional Korean dishes. It is good to have diversity in addition to Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese restaurants around Frisenplatz. Particularly enjoy the take out menu and service. Generous portion and good price and value for money.

Es handelt sich eher um einen Imbiss als um ein Restaurant (von der Einrichtung her und man muss an der Theke bestellen). Das Essen ist aber recht authentisch und lecker. Bier gibt es nicht im Kühlschrank (wo die alkoholfreien Getränke zum selber rausnehmen sind), aber zumindest auf Nachfrage.

Leckerer koreanischer Imbiss-Laden. Man gibt die Bestellung bei der Besitzerin hinter der Theke ab, serviert wird an den Tisch. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, ich würde sagen, authentisch, wenn auch für den deutschen Gaumen gewürzt (nicht übertrieben scharf). Wir waren gerade in Südkorea und das Essen im Bibimbab schmeckt genauso gut. Preise sind normal für kölner Verhältnisse. Freundliches Familienunternehmen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragende Speisen, außergewohnliche Tees und wirklich nette Leute. Leider ist die Service-Methode (quasi Selbstbedienung) im Verhältnis dazu befremdlich (Gläser zu Getränken nur auf Nachfrage und Sekbstabholung am Tresen). Preise waren angemessen. Getränke - bis auf Tee - musste man sich aus eunem Kühlschrank nehmen. Statt Messer und Gabel gabs Löffel und Stäbchen ... ganz traditionell.

Ich liebe es! Es ist so ein süßer kleiner Laden mit netten Personal. Es läuft immer entspannte Musik, auch nicht laut, im Hintergrund und die Dekoration ist auch schön anzusehen. Die Plätze sind gut verteilt, sodass auch potentiell größere Gruppen Tische zusammenziehen können. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und nach gerechter Wartezeit serviert. Ich bin schon seit längerer Zeit immer mal wieder da gewesen und hab selbst positive Änderungen wahrgenommen: Das Gimbap wurde für den gleichen Preis mehr und auch das Tteobokki hat sich vermehrt. Das Essen ist immer warm und ohne Probleme an den Tisch gekommen. Die Preise sind auch angebracht, dafür dass das Essen immer abliefert. Nur die besonderen Getränke sind etwas teurer. Über den Geschmack brauchen wir gar nicht reden, es ist jedes Mal aufs neue einfach unglaublich lecker, aber man muss es auch mögen. Deshalb einfach mal probieren!!

super erstaunliche und authentische Tintenfisch-Reisschüssel (ojingae ddupbak), dass ich jemals außerhalb von Korea hatte. leider hatte ich kleine 235ml Birne Geschmack Getränk, das weniger als 1euro in Korea kostet und sie berechnet mir 4,5 Euro am Ende, die super uncool war. wenn es wie 3euro sogar, würde ich 5 Sterne gegeben haben... fühlte sich bisschen scammy.

Netter kleiner Imbiss mit freundlichen Familienbetrieb. Man bestellt an der Theke und kann sich selbst misosuppe einschenken. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und schmeckt gut, aber für meinen Geschmack etwas zu süß. Bei den Getränken stehen keine Preise dran. Wir waren hinterher ziemlich verwundert über die 4€ für eine kleine Flasche Saft! Dafür, dass man es selbst holen und aufmachen muss, ist für einen kleinen Laden schon happig. Aber insgesamt zu empfehlen, weil das Essen gut ist.

Imbisscharakter, aber Restauranteinrichtung. Essen ist grandios, da Preis/ Leistung stimmt! Hier bekommt man das originale Kimchi (sogar vegan), so wie es schmecken muss. Es gibt keine Gerichte mit Gemüse, was in Glutamatsoßen schwimmt wie beim Chinesen (sorry, aber leider wahr). Zu schwach gewürzt finde ich es nicht! Ganz im Gegenteil....genau richtig! Wer mehr möchte, kann ja nachwürzen. Andersherum wäre das Essen wohl hinüber... Der Knaller ist das Bibimbap im heißen Steintopf. Das Gemüse ist schonend gegart und zum Glück nicht weich gekocht, sondern bißfest. Man schmeckt es sofort! Die Sauberkeit ist übrigens 1a. Tische sind geputzt, die Theke und die Auslage sind supersauber u aufgeräumt. Für mich ein Indiz für oberste Hygiene! Ebenso das Gäste-WC! So bin ich es von Koreanern gewohnt....

Lecker :)! Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten das Bibimbap mit Tofu, Gemüse Mandu und den hausgemachten kimchi. Alles war wirklich super und sehr zu empfehlen. Das Bibimbap war mit der Chilisauce perfekt! Der Kimchi war schön durchgezogen und genau richtig pikant. Wir kommen wieder!

Bestes Bibimbap das ich je hatte

Had perfectly nice gyoza and japchae for lunch. There wasn’t much beef in the noodles, but it wasn’t so little as to complain about it. The prices were reasonable and the place was very pleasant to sit in. With a really nice range of dishes. The food overall was nothing to rave about but somehow it didn’t matter. Would happily go back.

Bibimbap, Name ist hier Programm: das leckere koreanische Nationalgericht wird hier sehr lecker zubereitet, außerdem Kimchi-Pankakes sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Familienbetrieb, Essen in den letzten Jahren verbessert. Der Service ein bisschen langsam. Eigentlich ein Imbiss, schließt um 21 Uhr.

It's a small shop selling hearty Korean dishes at a budget price. For the bibimbap I had, they really used a hot stone bowl with a sensible mix of vegetables, plus deliciously marinated beef. They also sell Korean drinks like pear juice. The food tastes authentic and I enjoyed it a lot. Only wish I have is for there to be more snack options on the menu (apart from kimchi) but that is probably difficult to do for a small shop

The food is good, freshly made 👍🏻. Tteokbokki is great, not too spicy. One of my favorite korean food is Japchae, it’s fried glass noodles. For every main dish, you can get one bowl soup. To order the food, you need to come to the counter, but they will bring the food to your table. The thing that annoyed me was the air circulation is not good, and I got teary eyes from the cooking’s smoke…

Es gibt sehr viele verschiede Gerichte aus Südkorea von traditionell bis street Food. Hat mir sehr gut Gefallen, preislich stimmt alles und die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich. Ich komme gerne hier hin.

Ich als eine Koreanerin, empfehle dieses Restaurant zu 100%. Es schmeckt genau wie aus meiner Heimat und erinnert mich jedes Mal nach einer guten Hausmannskost. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Essen frisch gemacht mit guter Gemüse Qualität. Leider ist kein Geschmack da und die Suppe hatte den Geschmack von Pappe. Dürftig aber teuer.

Guter Asia Imbiss. Nichts besonderes aber für kleines Geld bekommt man ordentliches Essen. Nicht besonders einladend, aber es wird alles auch zum außerhaus Verzehr angeboten.

주인 부부께서 정말 친절하심. 조용하고 한국 식당에 들어온 느낌. 가격은 독일 외식물가 대비 평균ㅡ평균 이하 정도고 김치찌개는 조금 짰음. 짠 거 좋아해서 정말 맛있게 먹었는데 짠 거 싫어하면 김치찌개는 비추. 라면도 맛있고 치즈김밥도 맛있어요 :)

다른 메뉴들은 괜찮으나 김치찌개가 진짜 너무 짜서 조금만 덜 짜게 만든다면 더욱 맛있을것 같음

Extrem lecker. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist wirklich toll. Achtung - manches Essen ist sehr scharf, wie zb tteokbokki, was völlig normal ist in der koreanischen Küche. Wir haben da aber definitiv einen Favoriten dort gefunden
