The service is very friendly and the restaurant itself is pleasantly decorated. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing: the dumplings were frozen and my dish tasted strongly of instant noodles – even without any vegetables or fresh ingredients. Overall, it was rather bland and overpriced. Furthermore, the entrance door is always left slightly ajar, even in winter, and the furnishings are somewhat worn, for example, the benches are torn. This was my second visit, and it was a similar experience both times – I don't quite understand where all the very good reviews come from.

Authentic, incredibly delicious food, a great atmosphere with unbelievably nice people who do their work with heart. Prices are totally fair, highly recommended :)

I ate kimchi and bimbimbap for the first time, and it was incredibly delicious. The pan with the bimbimbap was piping hot (you have to be a little careful), which meant everything stayed nice and warm. The beef was incredibly tender, the vegetables crisp, and together with the sizzling fried egg on top, it was a real treat. Everything was handled by the lovely staff. My tip: definitely try it! 👍

I ate yukgaejang and kimchi stew! The yukgaejang had a lot of meat in it, so it was really delicious and I was full~!!

We tried the bulgogi, bibimbap, surimi kimbab and jaejuk bokkeum, and every dish was bursting with flavor. The meat was tender and perfectly marinated, the vegetables were fresh, and the spice level was just right. The banchan (side dishes) were plentiful — a real sign of good Korean dining!

I ate there yesterday, and it was by far the best Korean food I've ever had! I went with two other friends, and we all loved it. The food was incredibly delicious, the portions generous, and the prices absolutely fair. The dishes are perfect for sharing! The lady at the cash register was super friendly and simply adorable. They even offered free miso soup! The restaurant is very clean and has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I don't usually write reviews, but this time I just had to—it was totally worth it! I highly recommend the restaurant and will be back every time I'm in Cologne!

Absolutely recommended – the best Korean restaurant in Cologne (and perhaps all of Germany!) We ate at Bibimbap in Cologne yesterday and were absolutely thrilled! We've eaten at many Korean restaurants, but this was by far the best. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted incredibly warmly and friendly – ​​you immediately feel welcome and completely at ease. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant, and intimate; you can immediately tell that the food is cooked and prepared with love. The food was simply fantastic! Everything was freshly prepared; you could even see the lovely lady at the counter making the gimbap right in front of us – and they were simply perfect! They also served a complimentary miso soup, which was absolutely delicious. We had bibimbap, bulgogi, yukgaejang, vegetable mandu, tteokbokki, cheese gimbap, and heotteok for dessert – every single dish was a hit! Fresh, authentic, and cooked with lots of love. I'd especially like to highlight the service – we've rarely been served so friendly, attentive, and warmly. You can tell the team here is passionate about what they do. We really can't rave enough – it was perfect all around! We'll definitely be back and can highly recommend Bibimbap to anyone who wants authentic Korean food.

This means the food is always fresh, of course. Bowls, kimchi, and bulgogi are all clear recommendations. The drink selection could be larger, though. No soju, no Korean or Japanese beer, just Warsteiner. Date of visit: October 2025

Super delicious food. Authentic local with very friendly staff. We went there with the family and had kimchi pancakes, bulgogi kimbap, bibimbap, bulgogi, and sapche. Everything was delicious and prepared with love. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious, authentic Korean food! Lovely ambiance and truly delicious. The beef is so tender it falls apart. My girlfriend loves the bulgogi dish with its generous portions. Even I can barely manage the portions. Highly recommended! We quickly became regular customers.

We dropped in for lunch and had a refreshing honey yuzu tea, and enjoyed a bibimbab (stone pot rice with veggies and beef) and saptsche (glass noodles with veggies and mushroom), both were great! Fresh and tasty, as expected. The restaurant is clean and bright and well visited. We missed out on the free soup but were full from our lunch anyway! Will be back soon

Great little Korean restaurant on Brabanter Straße! Bibimbabvin impresses with friendly service and a pleasant, uncomplicated atmosphere. Orders are placed directly at the counter – everything is very relaxed – and the freshly prepared food is then brought to your table. The menu is concise but varied – there's sure to be something for everyone. We had beef sapche, gganpungle (crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce), yukgaejang (spicy beef stew), and a kimchi pancake as an appetizer. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The prices are also absolutely fair – we'll be back!

I came here after hearing about it in the Netherlands. I didn't take any pictures because I was busy eating. Tteokbokki, udon, naengmyeon, kimchi stew, and stir-fried pork were so delicious. It's been a while since I had Korean food~^^ I'll stop by again next time I'm in Germany!

The lady behind the counter was very nice, and the restrooms were very clean. We had japchae, kimchi jeon, and bibimbap. Overall, we both found the food very salty, which we also noted. I also think €11.90 for kimchi jeon is really expensive. That's almost the price of a main course.

I felt welcome, full, and happy. Clearly: 5 stars, because I was simply super satisfied; and the value for money is excellent. You should know.
