Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kleve

I live in the Netherlands, and the menu here is different. It was quite interesting to eat mashed potato with gravy in a KFC. The food quality is the same as any other KFC. Good, but nothing spectacular. We had a minor switch up order with someone, but nothing incoveneance.

A branch of the well-known KFC store with the well-known products. We ate there several times or bought products at the drive-thru. The quality of the food was impeccable. However, things don't go really quickly here because most of the employees are student assistants or temporary workers and it happened several times that the things ordered weren't in the bag or on the tray. I think these are teething problems - the store hasn't been there that long. The shop is clean and you can use the toilet without a herpes squad. The quality, taste and selection of products available there can certainly be debated - anyone who likes the dishes from the "Hühnerhawk" will be satisfied there.

Avoid this place. I almost broke my teeth with a sandwich. They left the bone inside (what the heck!). It's also extremely expensive for what they offer.

Although there was no other car anywhere and there was nothing going on in the restaurant itself, I waited 20 minutes for my order, with an order of only 4 products. And to top it off, one of the only 4 products we ordered was missing at the end (large fries worth 4 euros).

Not tasty. Not tasty service. The lady from Poland who works there is a tragedy, an incredibly unpleasant woman. Today we received an expired salad, and after pointing it out, we were treated distastefully. The lady, not knowing what day of the month it was, argued in a nasty, rude tone until I showed her that the salad was already a day overdue. After all, I even say sorry. Besides, this is not the first time such a situation happened with this lady. Today I am complaining to the manager.

Eating a little out of the way is good, but it's always quite crowded and loud

Unfortunately, I tried it twice and I'm sure I won't try it again. As for the offers, the image and quality are always different from reality and unsatisfactory. The two times I tried this restaurant I felt deceived. It was a bad experience. For the price you pay for the food, you can eat better at another restaurant.

The KFC branch in Kleve cannot be compared to any of the other branches in Germany or the Netherlands (Nijmegen). You can tell that a branch should be opened here quickly. The breaded chicken, which you would like to be crispy, is always limp. Unfortunately, fries are too often fried too briefly, which means they are incredibly soft or, even worse, have been left “finished” for too long. I visited the branch in Kleve most Sundays at lunchtime where there wasn't much going on, even with the smallest number of visitors, orders are carried out inadequately or incorrectly. It's a real shame, because I like to visit the franchise, Krefeld, Nijmegen etc. only underground performance in Kleve. Communication with employees is very challenging, even in English (if spoken). This means that using the Drive Thru is not recommended; instead, I would only order using the control panel or work with a translator AI. The location is nicely done (it would simply be a fail in a new building if this weren't the case).

The hot wings were anything but spicy. There was a total lack of spice. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There was hardly any meat on my friend's burgers. Had to put my meat in there because otherwise he would only have eaten bread.

Fast food at its finest, better than any Kings or Macs, also cheaper than the others, drinks as much as you want, almost never overcrowded, always clean, highly recommended

The most disgusting "food" I have ever experienced. Old, dry portion of bones instead of meet, without specific KFC spices, full of salt sh...t! I waste 30eur...and will never come back again.

I don't recommend it, no meat, just bones in the chicken. The fries were soooo salty. The wings taste like flour, not spices.

Staff is not friendly, fries were lukewarm and tough and very few for large fries. The wrap was okay.

I was there recently with my friend and ordered via drive-thru. The employee had no idea what was in the burger box. As side dishes we wanted to order 1x fries and mashed potatoes with gravy, but instead we got 2x fries with 1x mayonnaise. The fries tasted totally out of date and limp, my friend immediately threw them away. As always, I ordered my 11 hot wings, which were fine as always, not too spicy this time. There was hardly any chicken or salad on the burger and the bun was completely soggy. The service at the counter could barely speak German and suddenly started speaking English with a foreign accent, which is why we couldn't understand them at all. It was a disaster and I was also upset about the price because I didn't get what I wanted. It wouldn't have been any use to go in there and make it clear to them that it wasn't what I ordered, since hardly anyone spoke German anyway. The 11er Hotwings were okay, even hot even though I also got stale and cold ones. The burger box for €15 was very disappointing and not worth the money.

In my fast.food.de ranking, KFC is in third place. So far :) This sandwich is very fatty and I do not recommend it to people suffering from heartburn, digestive problems or cholesterol. Personally, I eat this way once every 3-4 weeks and I have no stomach problems... But I will never order this double down again :( It looked nice, but the fat caused a strong acid release and a feeling of heartburn. KFC should offer such a sandwich in the form of grilled meat - less fat (bacon and cheese are enough). Breast grilled with herbs would be PERFECT :) Regards and I recommend

Had to wait three quarters of an hour for my order. Employees can hardly speak German. The next day I had a severe sore throat that has lasted until now.

I was there yesterday to pick up food and I ordered and paid for two special crispy chicken + corn. When I was home there was no maiz and this morning I have severe stomach pain. Was the crispy chicken fresh? Is it fresh? Is the big question!!???? I want my money back!!

Tragedy. We ordered 2 double burgers plus a kids menu. There is so much salt everywhere that we have not yet recovered from the meal. Even the child had his dish oversalted. I don't recommend it. I will never set foot there again.

Waiting time for the order was 42 minutes. Not just me, but also at least 3 other customers besides me. The employees are extremely overwhelmed and apparently understaffed. Food was okay. Would give 0/5 stars if that's possible.

Tragedy, I received an incomplete order for the drive, no chicken pieces in the box, only a burger, fries and a Pepsi. This is pure theft, I checked it only after I got home. I definitely advise against it.

Don't come here!! Because the meat is not cooked normally. The corn looked like it had been in the freezer for months and when I went to pick up the food everything was cold.

Less than five stars wouldn't be appropriate because everything worked perfectly. Of course, a high-end restaurant has a different atmosphere, but if you go to KFC and expect candles on the table and a head waiter in a tailcoat, you're probably not sober. I like the food at KFC, and the second important point for me is cleanliness. Both were as you would expect. It wasn't the last time I was here.

The service is absolutely subpar. We were there on October 17th at 3:30 p.m. The employee thought she had to address all customers verbally. Ma found it extremely important to make sure the fries were completely over-salted and to check her fingernails. Never again!

This was the first and last thing! The KFC is never used in the Netherlands. That's 1, the saus op de broodjes is different and totally not tasty. Ten 2nd de stuk kip on my zinger was zodanig small dat ik meer brood at dan kip. Ten 3 de hotwings were droog and te hard baked! You don't have to start over the patty/friet you want that was 1 en slap en vol met frituur olie! This was the 1st time and the last time! It's not the KFC you're used to in the Netherlands. That's 1, the sauce on the sandwiches is very different and not tasty at all. Second, the piece of chicken on my Zinger was so small that I ate more bread than chicken. Third, the hot wings were dry and overcooked! And don't start with the fries/chips right away because they were 1 and limp and full of frying oil!

Tried again today after the bad experience last time. After first having problems with the ordering column, we went to the counter. Waited 10 minutes, only 2 customers in front of you. Non-German speaking people and then being told that the FRIET is not available due to delivery problems. How is it possible that such a beautiful business is run like this? No wonder it is not busy at this location. Too bad, we drove on to Burger King Kleve, we also had to wait 10 minutes, but that was because it was busy!!!!!

International fast food chain with chicken as the basis for the dishes. You will be given a cup to help you get your own soft drink. Children's menu is okay, no separate toys but a handy cup for home use.

We were there on a Wednesday evening, around 7pm. It was nice and quiet, we could immediately place the order via the column. And within 2 minutes the food was ready. Everything was warm (even hot), the chicken was nice and tender and the fries were delicious. It was disappointing that there were only sugar-free drinks; Certain sweeteners give me a stomach ache. So I just took some water. Unfortunately, the prices are a lot higher than in the Netherlands. But we had a nice meal!

Food prepared super quickly, everything clean, staff friendly. Only the lamps above the tables should hang a little higher 😅

Expensive, hardly anyone in KFC, yet food not hot. Only sugarless drinks. Super strange that you don't have your own choice and then you can't take a menu because I don't like sugarless lemonade. Then, out of necessity, something with coffee and sugar. This was KFC's last time here.

Unfortunately, food prices have reached rough levels. For two adults basket with 15 pieces of chicken, three hamburgers, mashed potatoes, two drinks 50 €. We were hungry so we agreed to pay, unfortunately not so quickly. I love KFC, but unfortunately my budget can't handle it...

WORST RESTAURANT EVER! You can never find a fresh food there.

Today we ate at KFC in Kleve again after a long time. I stood at the cash register for 10 minutes until I was helped. I had to ask myself if I could be helped. I saw an employee (with dark curly hair, of non-Western origin) standing very close to the cash register, she kept seeing that I was standing in front of the cash register, and yet she didn't bother to take my order. In fact, she very rudely tells me that if I can't wait, I can order from a vending machine. I have never experienced such behavior, very unprofessional / unsuitable. I also reported this behavior to my (sub) manager. I don't think he fully understood me, but hopefully he will do something about that. In addition, we received lukewarm food and incomplete food too. Super bad! Because of the above, I don't plan on going there again anytime soon. Then to another case, unfortunately!

So after 72 years you should be able to cook fries and wings. Add to that the exorbitant prices, a bottle of water, a handful of half-baked fries and 6 mini nuggets for €10.50. Ridiculous for this poor preparation and quantity. The wings were not fully baked and had a soaked fat breading. Definitely the worst fast food I've ever eaten. Never again.

😭 After a long time, I bought a Twister Wrap and a bucket at the drive-thru at KFC in Kleve. Twister and side dishes were ok. The bucket was "under all s.." The breading was totally hard and dark brown, the meat was dry. The contents of the bucket were probably heated several times. According to the motto “I have to go, heat it up again, go to the drive-in”. Gone is gone, the customer doesn't come back to complain." And all for €34.68. Next time, if I'm feeling hungry, I'll drive one street further to the Chinese buffet.

First of all: I LOVE KFC, but this one????? There is still a lot of room for improvement!!!!!!!! When I think of Essen, Bad Oeynhausen or CentrO. In the last three: food warm, staff friendly. Here in Kleve? You can guess that the fries and burgers were once warm. Staff mushy because you can't think of the name of the burger straight away and you order a crispy chicken. Answer: THEY ARE ALL WITH CHICKEN. Oh????? Real????? I wouldn't have expected that name. Chili cheese fries are on the board. It's no longer there, it was an action. Again in the fall. Maybe cross it out?????? If you don't feel like working in the catering industry, then look for another job. I've been doing it myself long enough. Gastro thrives on friendliness. There will be another chance at some point. If it gets so underground again, I'd rather drive to Oberhausen.

Staff was slow, floor slippery, greasy because of food leftovers, missing part of order, but it was pretty tasty.

I'll be honest, this was my first time at KFC and went with friends. I'm quite surprised with the quantity, it's really quite alright. I will say though, the fries were quite bland. With more salt they're alright, but sadly not as good as I hoped. Apart from that it was very easy to order, see what would be the best value, and refilling drinks is always helpful. Overall a good experience, but not quite what I was told a KFC would be.

We tried KFC in Kleve today, I didn't feel like cooking and my husband didn't know KFC yet. Of course I read the reviews beforehand and I have to admit that I went there with great skepticism. I didn't know how to order Deshbord, it wasn't a problem for the one person, then I didn't know what to do and when I asked, I was immediately helped in a friendly manner. The same applies to the drinks vending machine, which was also explained here immediately. It took 5 minutes from the dashboard until my number was called, so my food was hot and delicious. It's best to form your own opinion and, like me, be pleasantly surprised. deserves a 5* thank you for your helpfulness

Ordered food at the terminal. Large menu and large drinks with additional charge. We only got small cups. When we asked, we were told that they only give out 0.5 cups to take away. That is not how it works. FRIES WERE TOO SALTY.
