Kentucky Fried Chicken in Regensburg

Hello, I ordered hot wings to go from KFC in Regensburg today and was really surprised at how small they were when I got home. They were almost all bones with hardly any meat. For €17, I find that very disappointing. I hope this can be improved in the future.

Never again!! I've had stomach pains all day since I ate there.

It was extremely busy and the breading was more soggy than crispy. The tables weren't clean, but as I said: it was probably too busy and the staff couldn't keep up.

For 36 euros, I didn't get enough. They only gave me leftovers. More bones than food. I left hungry. I don't recommend it. 😡😡😡😡😡

All the employees are friendly, except for the woman at the delivery station. Her behavior is unacceptable and doesn't meet the standards of a reputable company like KFC. She treats the delivery drivers like slaves or servants. I hope I get banned from Uber so I never have to see that again.

I was very pleased with the service. We had a burger incident that was quite bad. I confronted the staff, and they immediately gave me a new, delicious burger. The staff also regularly wished us "Bon appétit!" The food is prepared quickly and is always hot, but you can see that not everything was quite right with the burger, and the syrup in the drinks dispenser was empty. Otherwise, the taste was good! I think the music and the decor with plants, etc., are very well done. 👍

Went there again after a long time. Disaster. The food was cold, the fries soggy, the meat tasteless. The wait time was nothing like fast food. 20 minutes is far too long. Plus, it was freezing cold at my seat.

I ordered the Original KFC Classic Box. Unfortunately, my food was cold. The chicken wasn't even warm. Although I had to wait almost 20 minutes, this wasn't a problem for me, even though the service could be improved, especially in the evenings when it's not busy. I arrived at approximately 10:15 PM on November 19, 2025, and was served by a man named "Michael" who wore glasses. I complained to him that my food was cold and asked for a new, hot one. After consulting the shift manager, he didn't react but simply put the chicken back and said there was no alternative. After he pointed this out to me again, I asked if I could speak to the manager. Michael said she didn't want to talk to me. She saw me, and I saw her, and when I called out to ask her to come out and speak to me, she hid in the back of the restaurant and pretended not to see me. I consider this behavior completely unprofessional. When I asked if I would get a refund if I didn't receive a hot meal, the receptionist initially said no. After several inquiries, the blonde, bespectacled woman finally allowed Michael to use the cash register and refund my money. I have no complaints about the staff, but I consider the behavior of the shift manager, who refused to come to me to listen to and address my complaint, to be rude and negligent. In my opinion, she should be dismissed. I am very dissatisfied with the service.

Went to KFC again after a long time, but this was the last time. They forgot to pack several items, the burgers were limp and tiny, and the taste was just okay. We won't be going back.

I was a regular at KFC for a long time, but I hadn't been there for almost four months. When I went back recently, I was really surprised—and unfortunately, not in a good way. The prices have increased significantly, and the portion sizes no longer justify the price. The chicken wings, in particular, are much smaller than they used to be, which is immediately noticeable. For a restaurant I used to enjoy, this difference is disappointing. I hope KFC returns to the quality and portion sizes they used to offer. Otherwise, it's not worth it anymore.

I don't know who hired the current staff here, but they can't just cram five portions of fries into a small box. 1. They were completely squashed. 2. How are you supposed to divide those fries between five people? That's just unacceptable.

Very expensive, €30 for a couple of small chicken wings. KFC is different in other countries; this branch shows KFC box pictures in the menu but sells something else.

The toilets are so disgusting you wouldn't even dare touch the door. 🥴 The sink is rusty, the door is broken, it needs renovating.

Waited forever for someone to come and take my payment. I ordered at the terminal and wanted to pay cash at the register. The order wasn't even processed until I paid. There were no napkins, and the soda dispenser was empty. The portion was a joke! It used to be three decent-sized pieces of chicken. But now... one was just a leg, and the other two were... I have no idea what they were. Tiny balls the size of a Ferrero Rocher. I was very disappointed. I ended up paying over €30 for two people.

They completely forgot my fries, my burger was without cheese which I paid extra for & when I tried to call to complain nobody answered the phone, I will never shop at this juice shop again

The price is outrageous for the crap you get here. Everything's soggy and cold, and at 11:15 PM! The fries are a joke! Used to be delicious, but now they're downright terrible!

Unfortunately, it's very mediocre. KFC used to be really good. Today, the fries were bland, the food was lukewarm, and it was 11:40 a.m. … no proper ventilation in the restrooms, a strong smell of cleaning products/chemicals. Loud humming/vibration, very audible while eating, I don't know what it was. Simply unpleasant.

The software is a bit cumbersome to use and could offer a better overview of the options. After paying, you unfortunately have to wait for the food and carry it to your table yourself, as there is no table service. For a restaurant in this price range, where the food isn't exactly cheap, this level of service is a bit weak. This tarnishes the overall impression. Conclusion: If KFC were to optimize this service (e.g., with more user-friendly software and a small table service), it would definitely be a 5-star rating. As it stands, the experience remains good, but not outstanding, due to the tedious ordering process.

The food was not that I ordered. I asked the service that it is not what I ordered. But they implied that it was what I ordered. Never value for the money given.

If you think back to the times a few years ago, it was still very nice there. Now it's really impersonal.

Not as attractive as it was a few years ago, when it was still fresh and interesting. Everything is shaky, shaky, like an assembly line, and overpriced to boot!

Lots of people, quite a bit of mess in the evening.

There were no napkins or enough syrup in the drink dispensers. You have to mix the Schwap Schwap yourself with Mirinda and Pepsi... I've never experienced that before... and there was no sign of it either. When I politely asked about it, because I thought the syrup was out, I was just given a disparaging look and left standing there. Not even "always trying" ;)

We were served quickly and the food was very good! We'll be back!

No. The food was disgusting. The restrooms were awful. Upon entering the restroom, I felt like vomiting. The mashed potatoes and gravy were inedible.

For our first visit today, I thought everything was great. I ordered via the app and took advantage of discounts, so it was really quick. It was definitely worth a visit. We'll be happy to stop by again if we're ever in R again.

The food is tasty, but not much, had to buy other dishes. Five drinks in abundance, that's good👍 . It's not clear why the handrails on the stairs are sticky and the toilets are dirty, in which there is not toilet paper everywhere. It's okay to go once.

Unfortunately, this branch is deteriorating more and more. They used to have dishes, cutlery, and even glasses, which made this branch unique. During the coronavirus pandemic, however, they switched to the usual cardboard containers. This regression is taking place precisely at a time when environmental concerns have become more prevalent. Recently, the dispensing system was completely unacceptable. There was no Mirinda to choose from, watered-down Pepsi, and the Schwippschwapp (swizzle stick) was a yellow-brown, watery broth. Communication with the employees is also becoming more difficult, as not all of them speak German anymore. I like KFC, but this branch is deteriorating more and more. Even the renovations haven't helped. The toilet still smells musty, and the faucet strainer has been missing for the past 10 years...

What a disgrace! After I pointed out to the staff shortly after opening at around 10:15 that the order displays were dirty and grimy, they lied coldly. "I just cleaned them!" commented a woman with glasses - "We only cleaned them yesterday!" commented a drive-through worker with a headset - I had to laugh out loud and asked why we had to start a discussion now when I just wanted to order and was basically helping to present your store properly...in a humorous way. Then, laughing, I went to the gas station next door and got myself a Leberkassemmel (liver sausage roll)! Sorry, KFC, I'd rather fry my own burgers from now on and avoid the overpriced kids' portions.

Without wanting to go into too much detail, I have to say that KFC has definitely declined over the years. While it used to be much better and had a certain wow factor, that's no longer the case. The buckets taste bland. The sauces that come with them are also rather average. I still think the BBQ sauce is the best. I also find the burgers disappointing. The only thing I can really recommend is the wrap. It's really good. But for that money, I'd eat twice, if not three times, as good in some places.

It used to be really cool. First they got rid of the proper plates during Corona, which I could actually live with, but now they've simply got rid of the chili cheese fries.... That was pretty much the only reason you go there, a total cheek.

Unfortunately, I discovered that chili cheese fries are no longer available at KFC in Regensburg. They were always a real highlight for me. I, and I think a few others, would be delighted if they were brought back as soon as possible. They were always a treat.

The food is great, the staff is very inconsistent and tends to stick with the poor quality. What's really annoying is that you don't get what you ordered, almost always, but you still have to pay for everything. No one is available by phone, and there's no email address to write a complaint. Today I was there again and was charged €13.49 for my crispy bucket, and yes, as always, I'm mistaken when I get home that it's missing. It's no longer worth it; it's happened to me with every order except for the one before last, three weeks ago. I recommend everyone to check their order in person, because you don't do that, especially when it comes to food. I would prefer to have it delivered. Then, in my experience, nothing would go wrong.

Catastrophic coordination among the staff, cold food, waited half an hour, got the wrong burger

The most disappointing kfc, the service is like they are doing you a favor by feeding you here, the fries are cold, the burger fell apart in the wrapper, the table is dirty, the restroom is the same. In my experience the worst of all fast food establishments.

Honestly, they don't even deserve one star. The food was bad – cold, not fresh, and lacking any crispiness. It felt like you were eating chicken with raw batter – and even that didn't taste good. That was definitely my last time there. If I'm craving chicken strips, I'd rather go to KFC Czech Republic – there I get 30 strips for €20, hot, fresh, and crispy. Much better than that flop at KFC Regensburg.

We ordered 48 euros (!!) today and just wanted to relax and eat at home – unfortunately, a whole 10 Crispys were missing from the bag. This isn't just annoying, it's downright disappointing, especially since we drove a long way. For us, this was one of the main components of the order – so now we're sitting here with less food.

It's KFC, clean, quiet and there is room to park. KFC is often not available along the highway. Spend 15€ for a menu, ok if you travel and just want to eat fast.

We haven't been to Regensburg near Kentucky for a while and were surprised that you can only order via vending machine. Everything was pretty quick, but... the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly and can no longer be compared to the previous, fresh, and delicious quality. We were so looking forward to finally eating a Zinger Burger again. The meat is no longer soft, the outside crust wasn't crispy or spicy like it was a year ago, and there was way too much mayonnaise on it. It seemed undercooked and had been sitting in the hot food counter for a while. The three hot wings we ordered with it were also forgettable – no longer crispy, no spicy, crispy coating, and way too small. The coleslaw is now coarsely chopped and no longer shaved like before. You can get it like that at Netto these days, too. Then, for a "large portion of fries," you don't even get a handful... we might as well go to McDonald's next time, where the portions are bigger. Too bad......we have always been big fans of Kentucky

Unfortunately, it's far too expensive for the very poor quality. The hot wings have become very small, but they still cost the same amount. The restrooms are also very dirty, as is the sink if you want to wash your hands after eating.

In 2025, you should expect an American restaurant to have decent air conditioning! I sweated profusely while waiting for my food, so I left and ate in my car with the air conditioning running. 1/5 The fried chicken always delivers the expected quality. 5/5

I ate fast food for the first time in five years because I was extremely hungry and unfortunately had nowhere else to eat. But today was the last time in my life. Greasy, too salty, and everything tasted the same. I'd rather starve in the future. The employees do their job well, as they're supposed to. But the food itself doesn't really deserve that name.

Regensburg, July 1, 2025, around 7:00 PM. Ordered two Hot Wings at the drive-thru. No receipt :-( , 10 wings for 6 euros. The smallest "wing" was just under 6 cm long and weighed a whopping 13 g. RUDE :-(((( They used to be (much) bigger, and there were 12 of them - and cheaper too. That's it for me - NEVER AGAIN KFC :-( :-( :-(

This isn't the KFC we all loved. The chicken is more breaded than meat, and the flavor is gone. We ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, but it was more like a gravy soup with some white stuff in it. The "chicken" was so greasy it felt like a stone in our stomachs. KFC used to be great, but sadly, that's over. I'm sad to say I can no longer recommend it.

Mega tasty, but there should be more for children

My wife and I ordered through Lieferando and I'm really disappointed!!! They could have saved the money! The chicken pieces weren't crispy, the burgers were a disgrace and they even served the wrong drink! The gravy mashed potatoes were soup. Good dining is something else entirely! I advise everyone not to order from there! I'm glad I saved the tip!

The worst KFC I've ever been to, orders were poorly made, something was always missing, when I call, the employees are on edge. Dirt everywhere, definitely avoid this restaurant.

A completely oversalted Squid Game burger. That's not the problem, because mistakes happen. But being treated like I'm crazy is unacceptable. My wife's burger wasn't oversalted, so I can still distinguish between oversalted and not oversalted. That they then silently throw a replacement at me is the last straw. This wasn't my first bad experience with KFC, but it will be my last.

Unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. No one on the team spoke German, which made communication extremely difficult. I waited over 20 minutes for my food – and still, the order was wrong. I had to go back three times to finally get it right. What was particularly shocking was that the meat, once touched, was simply put back with the other pieces – completely unhygienic! The mashed potatoes were watery and had hardly any flavor. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I certainly won't be coming back.

The food isn't tasty. The potatoes aren't fresh and are cold. There's no cold coffee in the summer. The prices are very high. I can't recommend this place.

I got a very, very dry burger, and the employee was very rude and said I was trying to insult him, even though I only said that the burger bun was definitely not from today. No compensation was accepted because a chain like that shouldn't be making such mistakes. It's ripe for bankruptcy.
