Shangri-La in Regensburg

Wir waren heute zum Mittagsbuffet. Das letzte Mal waren wir hier vor 10 Jahren.. nun weiß ich auch wieder wieso. Normalerweise sind wir in Neutraubling bei der Konkurrenz aber die hatte leider Schließtag. Vorne weg, Service auf zack. Teller wurden schnell weggeräumt und die Getränke standen auch schnell am Tisch. Klassisches Ambiente, wie gewohnt. Wir hatten das Mittagsbuffet für 15,90€. In meinen Augen für die Auswahl zuviel. Sushi gabs nur 2 Sorten in 4 verschiedenen Ausführungen. Überwiegend bestehend aus Gurke, Sashimi und gekochtem Thunfisch. Wer gerne wie wir Lachs oder Avocado isst. Wird hier sehr enttäuscht sein. Viele frittierte Sachen vorhanden (gebackene Banane, Apfel, Pommes, Hähnchen, Fisch). Viele Gerichte mit Saußen vorhanden. Garnelen ließen sich schlecht häuten. Salatauswahl gut und mit Kartoffelsalat sogar mehr als ich je beim Asiaten gesehen hab. Dessertauswahl bestand aus etwas Obst, Eis, Schokobrunnen und ansonsten Kuche, Wackelpudding und Krabbenchips. Alles in Allem, konnte man Essen aber muss man nicht. Für uns leider weiterhin nichtmehr.

Wir waren heute um 13 uhr im Shangri la zum Mittagsbuffet. Da es noch 90 min offen hatte,war allerdings kaum noch etwas vorhanden.Es würde nichts nachgefüllt :kein Sushi, keine Hauptgerichte ,nur noch Reste.Das war für den Preis wirklich enttäuschend .Das war unseres letztes Mal ,den werden wir hier nicht mehr kommen.

Eine sehr große und vor allem frische Auswahl an Fisch und Fleisch zum Grillen. Das gegrillte Essen kommt heiß an den Tisch.

Alles war in Ordnung, aber die Toilette war unglaublich dreckig. Das hat mir das Essen verdorben. Das ist mir jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal passiert. Ist das etwa die Firmenpolitik, damit die Gäste weniger essen? 🤑🤢

Wir waren als Gruppe zum Abend-Buffet da. Da alle Tische restlos ausgebucht waren, sollte man unbedingt vorher reservieren. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt: Die Auswahl an Speisen ist gigantisch und es wird permanent für Nachschub gesorgt.

Ein gutes Asia-Restaurant mit einem feinen Feiertags-Buffet samt mongolischem Grill. Gute Auswahl, vor allem an Fleisch, Fisch und Meeresfrüchten. Es wird immer schnell und frisch nachgelegt 👍 Die Qualität ist in Ordnung, die Preise ok 👌 Der Service ist quick und entgegenkommend. Uns hat es gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder 🙏

Das All-you-can-eat-Angebot war reichhaltig und der Service sehr freundlich; man konnte dem Personal alle möglichen Fragen stellen.

Habe ein Stück Rindfleisch und Kängurufleisch auf den Teller gepackt. Habe fünf Minuten gewartet und dann bekam ich einen Teller mit Drei Stücken Fleisch, die alle unterschiedlich schmeckten. 10/10 wegen Kängurufleisch

War heute seit langem Mal wida im Shangri-La Und seit Jahren Stammkunde Aber war heute sehr enttäuscht Das Essen schmeckt einfach nicht Mehr gut Hab nicht Mal ein halben Teller gegessen Weil mir so schlecht war und aufs WC zum übergeben müsste Und der Witz dann noch Ich musste Es auch noch zahlen Traurig Ihr seht mich nie wieder Mehr!!!!!

Kellnerin sehr unfreundlich, kommen nie wieder hat. Hat uns den Beleg aus der Hand gerissen als wir nachgefragt hatten ob die Wasser Flasche nicht kalt sein könnte gab es eine zickige Antwort zurück, ob man das nicht hätte früher sagen können weil sie keine Zeit hat

Sehr geiles Buffet, beste gebackene Hähnchenbrust, richtig schöne grosse Stücke. Top Ambiente, super aufmerksamer Service, tolle Auswahl.

Reichhaltiges Büffet und gutes Essen. Großer, kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Ich gehe sehr gern hierher.

Gehen wir immer wieder gern zum büffee Essen. War gestern wieder toll mit Freunden.

Essen war gut. Verwirrend war das die Schilder mit den Beschriftungen falsch waren teilweise. Wir waren im Winter dort an heilig drei könig. Es war laut und extrem voll. Draußen -7*C. Drinnen hatte es vielleicht 19*C. Viele saßen mit angezogenen Jacken da. Abendgarderobe ist somit nicht möglich. Die Bedienung meinte sie kann da nix machen. Ist seit Corona die lüftung. Man merkt den Unterdruck beim öffnen der tür. Also man wird nicht krank von Viren sondern weil man friert... Nicht sonderlich klug. Also warm anziehen Leute. Die Bedienung war total gestresst. unterm essen den Teller weg gezogen. Zum zahlen kam sie auch nicht. Man will also viele Menschen bewirten aber die Qualität leidet halt im Service extrem. Unser Tisch war nachdem die Dame da war noch mit Essensresten von dem andren teller voll die die Bedienung verloren hat. Schnell schnell und hektisch. Zwei große Aquarien sind der Hingucker... Ne Spaß die Dinger sind leer. Auch da wird gespart. Muss da nicht nochmal hin.

Was für ein fürchterliches Restaurant Ich wünschte ich könnte diesem Restaurant nicht mal einen Stern geben Das Essen war schlecht und gummi artig Das Personal war furchtbar unfreundlich Zum Beispiel wurde ich angeschrien weil ich das Essen nicht aufessen wollte darauf hin wurde mir gedroht dass ich dann mehr zahlen müsste, man darf sich kein Buffet teilen obwohl man ja den gleichen Preis zahlt Macht nicht den gleichen Fehler wie ich und geht in dieses Restaurant rein

Das Essen war superlecker, wir waren mit dem Service und der Frische der Zutaten sehr zufrieden 🤗 Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir waren seit längerer Zeit mal wieder hier zum Mittagessen, an einem Samstag. Der Preis mittags an Werktagen ist etwas günstiger, dafür gibt es kein mongolisches Barbecue. Mal abgesehen davon dass sich die Preise durch die Inflation um einiges erhöht haben habe ich den Eindruck, dass die Auswahl der Speisen, die es im Buffet gab , weniger geworden ist. Abends kann das wieder ganz anders aussehen. Was ich aber sagen muss, ist, dass das Essen was da war sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Sushi habe ich nicht probiert. Da hab es nur 3 Sorten, die eher 08/15 aussahen.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant bereits mehrfach besucht. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und der Service ist sehr gut. Es ist ratsam, im Voraus zu reservieren, da es oft schwierig ist, spontan einen freien Tisch zu bekommen.

Hhhhhhhhhhmmm ja 🙂‍↕️! Satz mit X, war wohl nix! Heute am 17.12. wollten wir uns dort zum Mittagessen treffen! Der Tisch war reserviert, nur wegen einem Wasserschaden wurde das Lokal kurzerhand geschlossen! Im Internet stand ABER leider nichts drin! Also war unsere Anreise umsonst gewesen! Na ja, gab wo anders auch leckere Gerichte! Gruß Gitte

Essen war wie immer gut auch der Service. Ist aber schon paar Jahre alt, darf mal renoviert werden

Wir waren zum Mittagsbuffet im Shangri La in Regensburg und leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Qualität des Essens war nicht gut und der Preis dafür absolut übertrieben. Besonders unverständlich war, dass sogar für unser einjähriges Kind mitberechnet wurde. Außerdem war die Mitarbeiterin, mit der wir zu tun hatten, unfreundlich, was den Besuch zusätzlich unangenehm gemacht hat. Für uns definitiv kein empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Richtig leckeres Asia All You Can Eat. Essen wird auf Wunsch frisch gebratet. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Alle sehr nett. Das Essen hat eine sehr gute Qualität und schmeckt gut. Auf jeden Fall den Preis wert. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze. Große Auswahl am Abend Buffet. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Sunday lunch buffet. Great and fresh selection. The only downside: children get a discount, but only up to 10 years old. I think the minimum age would be 12.

One of the best Chinese buffets I've been to. Freshly prepared dishes, fantastic appetizers--all-around great quality. Excellent value for your money. Highly recommended.

No, not recommended, the place is full, only half the buffet is open, you have to queue for 10 minutes with a lot of stress, slapping the food into the plate, so eating at the buffet is no fun

@ Lunch Buffet The selection is good, but much of it is too greasy or not greased well enough before it reaches the guests in the warming trays. The price-performance ratio (currently €14.90) is okay. The service is super fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the dining room is unpleasantly loud. And the floor was sticky and dirty. It couldn't have been due to the large crowd or guests spilling their food at their tables, as I arrived right at opening time. There's an urgent need for improvement there. I can't comment on the evening buffets, as I didn't try them. After having them three times at lunch, I'll skip that one.

Unfortunately, it's not what it was years ago... What a shame... Some of the food is cold... The labels don't match the buffet food... Staff are friendly and very quick to clear plates...

We were there in the evening with the kids. Everything was delicious, a large selection of different dishes, meat, fish, seafood, sweets, fruits, vegetables, sauces, and much more. The kids really liked the chocolate fountain in which they dipped fruit and enjoyed it with pleasure. I recommend it to everyone.

The buffet food wasn't that good. The prawns were overcooked, the liver was tough, and the beef was too salty.

A large selection, so there's something for everyone, a lovely atmosphere, attentive and child-friendly service—we'll be back! :)

A very large restaurant. Plenty of parking is available. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair-accessible entrance, as the restaurant is accessed via several steps. The buffet offers a wide selection of dishes, salads, and desserts. Very friendly staff. Prices are a bit expensive in my opinion, but you can find cheaper options here. The food was excellent.

The selection of dishes is limited. Fried dishes are very salty, and eating fried shrimp is unbearable. They do this to encourage more drinks. It leaves a negative impression. Not tasty, too salty. I won't go back! The concept of charging for drinks at the buffet is wrong, in my opinion! It puts visitors off.

We're currently on vacation here. We discovered the above-mentioned restaurant through Google, and we were thoroughly satisfied. The selection was good, the food was great, and the prices were great. 👍🏽 The staff was very friendly. 👍🏽 If we vacation here again, we'll definitely eat there again!

We were here for dinner after a long time. The price of €25 per person for the evening buffet seems to be standard these days. €17-19 would have been reasonable for the quality and selection, but good. We consider the food to be rather average. Not outstanding, but not bad either. Service is fast and attentive. The ambiance is pleasant. Conclusion: The price is okay, the food is OK.

The food was nothing special, rather bad. The service was very unfriendly. We went to smoke, and we even signaled to the waitress that we would be right back. Despite everything, the waitress ran right after us and shouted across the parking lot that we hadn't paid yet. A disgrace, if you ask me. The lady also wrote down my license plate number for no apparent reason, since we had previously communicated that we would be right back. The last time we were here!!!

I visited the restaurant on a holiday. I didn't need a reservation, but you can sample some very delicious food there. I recommend you visit.

Everything was great again. As usual. We've been going there for many years, and I have to say, I was really pleased again recently with my companion. Excellent and friendly service, a large selection, and consistent quality at the evening buffet. It's not for nothing that this place seems to have been around forever.

Far too loud, the food was mostly cold, the structure was confusing (no indication of where the plates, chopsticks, etc. were)...AUUUAND far too expensive. Evening buffet for 2 people 2 non-alcoholic drinks €58?! It's hard when it doesn't taste good because the food is cold. We were visiting and will not be coming back here.

One of the better Chinese buffet restaurants with the familiar usual dishes. Nothing extraordinary, but better than comparable alternatives because most of the food here tasted good and the food was hot and refilled in a timely manner. Plus points for the Mongolian grill too, it was the best experience in this direction so far, the things were nicely roasted and perfectly prepared. Price performance is okay. We would come back because sometimes you just feel like this simple (and unfortunately greasy) cuisine and then it's a good choice

Unfortunately we didn't read all the information that was written outside. Since we always paid 15 euros per person, today we would be happy with a bill of 58 euros. The reason: on Sunday the buffet costs 25 euros plus drinks. Although we were there early enough, the food on display was moderately warm and not everything was refilled. We were there last time, our regular group of 10 people are looking for a restaurant that we would like to support financially for good, hot food. Since Shangri-La is like a bazaar, they won't miss us. It's a shame that you are not valued as a guest.

Typical Asian buffet restaurant. Good selection of fish, meat, vegetables and sauces that you can put together and have prepared. Ready-made dishes, salad, sushi, soup, dessert - everything is there. 1 star deducted because we know other restaurants where the selection of ready-made meals, sushi and dessert is much larger.

Had a buffet lunch with seven people on the holiday. However, charging 15.90 euros each (!) for a buffet for two five-year-olds who eat three chicken nuggets and a handful of fries and an ice cream is simply a rip-off. Because people are happy to follow the example of other comparable restaurants (=5.90 euros for small children)

Update from January 2025 As always, incredibly well attended and great buffet selection and quality. Only the grill wasn't convincing.... The great meat was once again on the grill for so long that it was dried out and hard - a shame. ______________________________________ Update from August '22 Still a great restaurant. Everything there, everything fresh, super friendly, fast service! The buffet price in the evening has increased to €20 - you have to be hungry... Oh yes, there is also plenty of parking space. I'm now increasing it to 5 stars 🤩 ________________________________________ Very good and tasty buffet selection! We were there for the evening buffet and spent a lovely evening with friends. The dishes are all top fresh and some are on ice. Basically there isn't much of anything lying around, but things are always freshly refilled. The "wild" meat, such as beef or zebra, is prepared on the Mongolian grill, but was quite tough. The buffet price of €17 isn't exactly a bargain, but it's okay considering the performance.

After many years again in Shangri-La. Once one of the first all-you-can-eat restaurants in Regensburg, today it is still just mediocre for me. There is a huge selection of fish, seafood, meat and vegetables that you can fry yourself. There is also a selection of ready-made meals and desserts. Sushi is also available. I think the quality of the dishes is “okay-good”, my biggest problem is always that the finished dishes are not hot but only lukewarm. The taste is also a bit flat, so “okay” The Shangri is priced perfectly, the service is quick and the atmosphere is like it was 10 years ago. For me, however, there are better alternatives in the surrounding area.

Good, reasonable restaurant, I travel a lot in the Regensburg area to Passau for work. I've actually already gone through all of the "larger" lunch buffets... this one offers something like what I imagine as a buffet. I'm a sea food eater and wouldn't mind a little more choice. The scampi or is it prawns or rather shrimp? I I don't know exactly, partly I would guess. The waitresses are very, very nice, the service is really very good and you feel comfortable. I'm a regular and will remain so in the new year.

When it comes to eating, I only give it 3 stars because I can't say much about it because there was a problem with the gas that day of all days and there was only limited cooking. Ie. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and half of the dishes were already empty. It was still 1 portion which consisted of a few pieces of meat, a portion of noodles and a piece of pared fish. Unfortunately, the second portion took a long time to arrive. Which was unfortunately a problem as the table was limited in time. After more than 30 minutes we finally had something to eat again. But that doesn't mean the buffet was filled, just that the first dishes were gradually filled up. I was lucky and got a few shrimps for two portions. I enjoyed everything I ate. Conclusion: I'll just try it again another time, and maybe when the whole place isn't overcrowded.

I had dinner with a group of 17 people, everyone found their favorite delicacies. Everyone chooses their own food at the counters, and the drinks were served by a nice waitress. We all left satisfied.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal im Shangri-La und kann es echt nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Ambiente ist ok und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Allerdings war das Mittagsbuffet dort eine Katastrophe. Weder die Frühlingsrollen noch die Ente waren gut und alles wirkte eher aufgewärmt. Sogar die Nudeln waren kalt. Obwohl ich großen Hunger mitgebracht hatte, war ich schon nach einem Teller mehr als satt. Auch für ein Dessert war kein Platz mehr. Sonst schaffe ich ohne Probleme mehrere Teller. Das einzig Gute war der Tee, der wirklich lecker war. Auf Extrawünsche wurde auch freundlich eingegangen. Allerdings war der Preis für das Buffet viel zu hoch und obwohl die Bedienungen freundlich waren, hat die Qualität des Essens das Trinkgeld nicht gerechtfertigt. Direkt nach dem Essen hatte ich heftige Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit. Ich war auch nicht der Einzige, dem es so ging. Ich werde dort auf jeden Fall nicht mehr hingehen…
