Großartig. Wir gehen seit Jahren regelmäßig hier essen. Egal was man bestellt, es hat eine herausragende Quualität. Die Soßen, alles wirkt für uns wirklich von Hand gefertigt und wirklich lecker. Wir freuen uns auch auf die nächsten Jahre hier zu speisen. Großartig ist auch, dass es so viel in Glutenfrei gibt. Wirklich toll.

Sehr schöner Garten. Service und Essen sehr gut. Ich hatte eins der Tagesgerichte: Schweinesteaks mit frischen Pfifferlingen. Sehr lecker. Die Bratkartoffeln dazu waren genial.

Der Service war hervorragend, und die Angestellten waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Steak war unglaublich zart und bot ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Soße hätte zwar etwas mehr Würze vertragen können, aber die Qualität und Zartheit des Steaks machten dies mehr als wett. Die Abendatmosphäre war warm, gemütlich und entspannend – ein idealer Ort, um ein Essen zu genießen.

Wir waren herzlich empfangen worden und wurden sehr angenehm überrascht von dem Essen und allem Anderen. Lediglich im Punkto barrierefrei könnte man ein wenig mehr tun. Das Personal hat allerdings diesen Minuspunkt ausgeglichen mit ihrer zuvorkommenden Hilfsbereitschaft. Danke für den schönen Abend und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder...bis bald

Wir haben hier eine Pause auf unserer Wanderung eingelegt. Sehr nette Atmosphäre und Bedienung.

Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden spontan dort und waren begeistert! Es passt einfach alles, auf Wünsche wird eingegangen, der Service und das Essen sind ein Traum und das Restaurant und super hübsch und ansprechend eingerichtet. Ein ganz großes Lob an das ganze Team vom KDW

Super Service, mega essen und tolles Ambiente

Die Küche hat gute Ansätze aber das Essen war nicht geschmackvoll. Der Rotkohl schmeckte nicht nach Rotkohl hatte aber einen zu starken Nelkengeschmack, dem Hirschgulasch fehlte der Hirsch, das Fleisch war zwar butterzart aber ein Hirschgeschmack kam nicht durch, leider auch fade gewürzt. Zwar habe ich das Salz und den Pfeffer genutzt aber ich finde die Küche sollte das Essen was rausgeht vorher abschmecken. Eigengeschmack von frischen und guten Lebenmitteln aus der Region sollte erhalten bleiben ein Kartoffelsüppchen das kaum nach Kartoffel aber mit frischen Lauchzwiebeln und Wurzeln serviert wird ist auch nicht der Kkassiker. Also lieber Koch probier dein Essen es hat Potential und arbeite am Erhalt des Geschmacks.

Nach meinem ersten Besuch im KDW, muss ich sagen, hier passt alles; absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Man sitzt schön ruhig und gemütlich und nicht zu dicht gedrängt (gequetscht) wie in vielen anderen Restaurants. Der Service ist sehr höflich und aufmerksam, das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und lecker. Ausreichend viele Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Bar- oder Kartenzahlung möglich.

Hier stimmt einfach alles! 👌🏻 Schon der Empfang im Restaurant war herzlich und zuvorkommend, man sitzt gemütlich und es herrscht ein unauffälliger und angenehmer Geräuschpegel, bei dem man die Hintergrundmusik gut hören konnte, obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Das Essen war sehr gut, alles frisch zubereitet und lecker. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es übrigens ausreichend direkt vor der Tür. Bar- oder Kartenzahlung möglich.

Wir waren schon häufiger im KDW essen und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Tolle Location, gute Auswahl an Gerichten und alles frisch und lecker. Zu Weihnachten haben wir uns eine Gans mit Beilagen bestellt und diese dann auf einfache Weise dank der guten Beschreibung zu Hause fertig gegart. Das hat sehr gut geklappt und war wahnsinnig lecker. Wie frisch im Restaurant vor Ort serviert. Sehr zu empfehlen ist beides, der Besuch vor Ort und die Gans wird es auch wieder geben.

We were there for the first time in a while, having been regular customers for a long time. Overall, apart from the good service, it was disappointing, as the price/performance ratio was no longer right. The quality was okay, but the portions were small and the prices were comparatively high. The kitchen opening hours were not good at all. On a Friday evening (!), several guests were turned away shortly after 8:00, despite several free tables, 'because the kitchen was already closed'...

Die Lage des Restaurants ist wirklich sehr schön. Das Essen hat enttäuscht. Das Gemüse restlos zerkocht und zermatscht (möglicherweise 10x schon aufgewärmt). Das Hauptgericht sehr übersichtlich. Die Beilage "Kartoffelstampf" war akzeptabel (1 Stern). Sehr freundliche Bedienung (1Stern). Michelinsterne wird der Koch damit sicher nicht erringen können.

The four of us were thrilled. The service was friendly and attentive. The Wiener and Jägerschnitzel were delicious, and the tiramisu was delicious. We'll be back.

Very nice presentation. Friendly, not intrusive, good parking, wheelchair accessible over 2 small steps but toilet accessible. If I hadn't gotten married in November. If that had been my location. Food: Duckburg with vegetables and asparagus: good... I prefer asparagus very soft. I could also have said...not enough for really hungry people...but nice and clean and nicely presented. 😄The only thing missing is the loungers afterwards😄 Highly recommended 💡

The best Cordon Bleu north of the Alps I've ever eaten. It couldn't be better, and the chef isn't Austrian. I can't believe it. Admit it, you were switched as a baby. I just wanted to express my admiration. That was a piece of veal at its finest.

All in all it was a nice weekend end. Unfortunately my food was a little underseasoned. The others enjoyed their food.

Beautifully situated in the forest, a very warm and welcoming welcome awaited us. The restaurant is family-run, very cozy, and especially romantic in the evenings. It practically invites you to linger. A small but lovely selection of fresh, seasonal, and regional dishes awaits you. Daily specials accompany this lovely selection! One thing is clear: great importance is placed on freshness and quality here! There's sure to be something for everyone. The food is fantastic, a true feast for the palate. A small but very fine wine selection rounds off the whole experience perfectly. The service is always warm, caring, and always knowledgeable. It was a wonderful evening; we decided to go out for dinner at short notice. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were still given a very warm welcome and were given a table. The service was fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The dishes—kale with cooked sausage and smoked pork, venison goulash with mushrooms and spaetzle, and veal schnitzel with red cabbage and fried potatoes—were all delicious, and the portions were generous. The appetizers, onion soup, vitello tonnato, and a cream of porcini mushroom soup were excellent. All the dishes arrived piping hot at our table. The crowning finale was the delicious tiramisu. We had a very comfortable seating, and the value for money was more than reasonable. Great, please keep it up. We look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant left a mixed impression. The ambience was ok, not particularly outstanding but pleasant enough for an evening. The waiters were friendly and attentive, which was definitely a positive thing. Unfortunately, the food was not convincing: the taste of the dishes was quite bland, they were only served lukewarm and the portions were clearly too small for the price quoted. Overall it was a disappointing experience as the price/performance ratio was simply not right. I would like more quality and care in the kitchen. EDIT 12/04/2024: The people responsible for representing this restaurant on Google Maps tried to have my review removed via complaint on the grounds of “defamation”. After I explained to Google that I was actually a customer at this restaurant, the recession was reactivated.

At Christmas time, we had goose with red cabbage and dumplings…. Absolutely delicious! The service was also very attentive.

Beautifully located next to the forest, the KDW invites you to eat and relax in a cozy atmosphere. The deer medallions and the game goulash were excellent! Our service staff was super friendly, courteous and in a good mood. Our dinner couldn't have been better.

Table was reserved in advance, restaurant was about 3/4 full, very nice attentive service, very good menu and current daily menu, dishes came quickly and were very tasty, prices were completely ok, would come again at any time

I was there spontaneously on a Monday evening. The area is very quiet, the atmosphere and ambience were very pleasant. For the size of the portions and the fact that the majority of the dishes are not frozen goods, but rather homemade from scratch (which is a rarity these days), the prices are really humane. I also had nothing to complain about in terms of taste, especially the tomato soup as a starter was really tasty 10/10. The service was also very friendly, helpful and not intrusive. Gladly again 👍

We were there for lunch. Excellent service and great cooking! The head waiter and the kitchen really know their craft perfectly! Although we sat in the front and bright indoor area, I would also like to mention the beautiful outdoor area. My companion had the roast beef with fried potatoes and tartar sauce. Perfectly pink cooked meat, great fried potatoes (absolutely nothing burnt) and a homemade remoulade sauce. There was also a bouquet of salad on the plate. From the daily menu I had sliced ​​veal with chanterelles in cream sauce and mashed potatoes. I also ordered a side salad with a very tasty dressing. Everything was homemade and with fresh ingredients. Just the way I love it! Absolutely recommended!

Ein tolles Restaurant, in dem es fast alle Speisen in vegetarisch, vegan und glutenfrei gibt. Der Service war großartig- aufmerksam und professionell, dabei trotzdem locker und freundlich. Es war ein rundum schöner Abend! Man sollte unbedingt reservieren! Ich habe auf den Anrufbeantworter gesprochen und wurde am selben Abend zurückgerufen.

This was our first time here. Great atmosphere. The outdoor area in warm weather creates a short holiday feeling. The service was warm and the Cordon Bleu was the best I've had the pleasure of enjoying in Hamburg so far. The panfish was also excellent. We'd love to come back.

We were guests of a wedding party. The two service staff were super attentive and very friendly. The food was plentiful and tasted very good. We also liked the entire atmosphere inside and outside. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely come back.
