Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mitten in der Stadt. Toller Service mit sehr gutem Essen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Sind zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, lecker Essen, aufmerksame Bedienung, sehr freundlich und sauber. Wenn man was außergewöhnliches trinken möchte, dann Bier mit Eiercreme :)

Wär zum Mittagessen zum ersten Mal da. Essen schnell bekommen, super lecker und ziemlich viel. Habe zwar 32€ bezahlt, aber für 2 Gerichte, da ich gleich für den nächsten Tag zum mitnehmen genommen habe. Und diese Malzeit mit Freundin geteilt-war für uns genug! Frühlingsrollen, Misosuppe mit Lachs und zum ersten Mal ein Sushi Bowl, alles sehr gut geschmeckt, ist eine Empfehlung wert....

Auf der Durchreise und das Lokal war sehr hotelnah. Leider hatten wir "nur" take away, was alles sehr lecker war. Das Restaurant sah sehr ansprechend aus und ich habe es bedauert, daß ich nicht vor Ort gegessen habe. Personal war sehr nett und kompetent. Würde sofort wieder bestellen

Fantastische asiatische Küche und Sushi-Variationen. Wenn Sie Sushi und asiatisches Essen im Allgemeinen mögen, sind Sie hier genau richtig.

Jedes Mal sehr lecker, super freundlicher Service, Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Ich hole mir gerne etwas zum Mitnehmen raus, was in der Regel maximal 10 Minuten dauert und Zuhause noch warm ist.

Ein wundervolles, vietnamesisches Restaurant. Es ist sehr gemütlich und sehr ansprechend gestaltet! Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und erinnerten an meinem Besuch in Vietnam, original vietnamesisch, sehr lecker! Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam. Wir gehen immer wieder sehr gerne hier essen, ein wirklich sehr empfehlenswertes vietnamesisches Restaurant.

Schon der Empfang am späten Sonntag- Nachmittag gestaltete sich aufgrund von Verständigungsproblemen etwas holprig. Der erste Eindruck war: es müsste mal gründlich sauber gemacht werden. Die Frühlingsrollen als Vorspeise waren Convenience-Produkte und ohne eigenen Geschmack, lediglich die süß-saure Sauce dazu, ebenfalls convenience, hatte ein wenig Geschmack. Die Hauptspeisen 'Saigon Curry' waren Phantasiegerichte mit Brokkoli, Paprika und Möhren in einer dünnflüssigen Curry-Kokosnusssuppe, nicht cremig, wie auf der Karte beschrieben. Wenigstens das Gemüse war nicht zerkocht. Die Erdnusssauce des 'Pnom Penh Peanuts' Gerichts schmeckte chemisch, war ebenfalls dünnflüssig statt cremig und dürfte ebenso aus der Convenience-Vorfertigung kommen. Mit geteilter Vorspeise und jeweils einem Getränk wurden für drei Personen € 85 aufgerufen. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht, daher leider keine Empfehlung.

Das Essen war durchschnittlich, es fehlten eine hute Abschmeckung..Mangosoße schmeckte etwas lasch ohne Mangostückchen. Dafür war das Personal sehr freundlich und die Athmospähre sehr schön und gemütlich, freundlich. Das Essen könnte etwas mehr Authentizität haben. Ich komme gerne nochmal und probiere ein anderes Gericht.

Tolles asiatisches Restaurant mit leckeren Essen und gutem Service

Zum Pho gab es frittierte Teigstangen, wie nett ist das denn 🥹 Das Essen war wirklich fantastisch.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, der Service effizient, die Portionen groß und immer frisch. Der Laden selbst ist recht dunkel und könnte etwas sauberer sein, aber das Essen ist einwandfrei.

Essen ganz okay, aber das Ambiente eines Bahnhoflokals. Die Bedienung macht ihren Job...

Leckeres Essen! So viel Geschmack!!!

Wir waren zu viert in diesem Lokal und hatten auch 4 verschiedene Speisen, die alle hervorragend waren. Vor allem von meinem japanischen Gericht war ich vollauf begeistert. Gerne wieder, aber wir wohnen leider zu weit weg. Auch die Bedienungen waren freundlich.

A very nice restaurant with delicious food. I've been there several times and the service has always been excellent!

Good and tasty food, served nicely on large, attractive plates. The portions were neither too small nor too large for adults with appetites. The starter soup, ordered separately, was also very tasty. We decided not to have dessert. The ambiance was rather simple, but good enough. Overall, we were very satisfied and the end result was flavorful. The seasoning was subtle and not overly strong.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined.

A truly beautiful restaurant with an ambiance that made us feel very comfortable right from the start! 😊 A big compliment for the delicious duck and the amazing peanut sauce with my dish. The homemade lemonades are also great value for money and taste great! 👍 Unfortunately, there were a few things that somewhat dampened our experience. We discovered a bunch of flies at our window seat, and there were ants crawling on the table. That wasn't so nice and spoiled our appetites a bit. 😕 We had mixed feelings about the meal itself. I had the "Flying Noodles" – the duck was great, as I said, but the taste and smell of the noodles reminded me veeerily of instant noodles. Of course, that's just my feeling, but unfortunately, it didn't seem freshly prepared. The side salad consisted almost entirely of iceberg lettuce, so I would have liked a bit more variety. My friend thought her sushi was delicious, but the portion was so small that we actually had to stop at McDonald's afterward. 😅 My cup of tea was also rather modest for the price. It's a real shame, actually, because the atmosphere is fantastic and some of the dishes were truly delicious. We hope this feedback is taken as constructive advice, because with a little more attention to detail, this could become a real favorite.

Impossible!! Substandard service

I was there with my husband on June 23, 2025. The food was excellent, the wait time was short, and the lemonade was delicious and attractively decorated. The service was friendly. All in all, full marks, highly recommended, and we'd be happy to return.

Oh, I love their sushi! It is pricey but worth the money.

The food was delicious, but the staff unfortunately didn't speak German very well. The restaurant could be improved (for the visual appeal). Dogs are also welcome. We enjoyed it.

All the dishes were excellent. The value for money was excellent, and the food arrived super quickly! It was a shame that the menu said chamomile tea with chamomile flowers, but it turned out to be just a Messmer tea bag :D

Food is quite good, but quite expensive. Aperol doesn't work at all! The service itself is friendly - but we weren't said goodbye (no "bye" or fortune cookie to say goodbye, like the other guests received). We liked the To Gao in Blankenese much better.

We were in Wedel yesterday and were looking for a Chinese restaurant for dinner. After we went somewhere else and continued looking, we were more than pleasantly surprised here! Shortly after 5:00 p.m. when it opened, a few places were already occupied. We were served very friendly and had an incredibly delicious coconut soup with shrimps and lots of fresh vegetables and extremely delicious vegetarian spring rolls as a starter. The main course, what can I say, couldn't be beaten in terms of deliciousness! Such delicious, fresh vegetables! The tuna with the avocado dip-----a poem. I haven't eaten so well in a restaurant for a long time. The vegetarian noodles were also very tasty. All in all we were more than satisfied. The restaurant is highly recommended and we were definitely not here for the last time. Next time we'll book a table instead 😉

It's pricey, but it's still fantastic.

We actually come to this restaurant regularly and have always been satisfied. But for some time now it has become clear that the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The smell when you enter the restaurant is also unpleasant and you get the feeling that it urgently needs to be cleaned from the ground up. The tables are also sticky, everything is somehow unclean.

The food is really very good, fresh, wholesome and tasty. The ambience is not kitschy, but it could be a little more cozy inside and it is particularly cold in the entrance area in winter. At least you can sit outside when the weather is nice. During our last visit, a waitress placed our food and drinks quite carelessly on the edge of the table and didn't even look at us. It's a bit of a matter of luck who you're dealing with there.

The food was super fresh, delicious, well seasoned, crunchy, crispy, hot - just meeegggaaa!!! Highly recommended 😃 Far too many plastic plants don't create a good atmosphere for me.

Delicious food. Large portions, tasty vegetables, tasty sauce. The restaurant is really recommended! We had 26a and 26b, the fish dish with salmon and tuna. The lemonade was also really good! We'll be back!

Clear recommendation. All ingredients were fresh. I was already in Schleswig at ToGao. Like there, it tasted really good. The service crew is very attentive but not intrusive. If I'm in Wedel again, I'd love to eat here again.

We ordered food to take away. When we got home we realized that it was the wrong order and that the ingredients were really cheap. The food was really disgusting, I've rarely eaten so badly. Very disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

I came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Super nice service, very hardworking and attentive and also very tasty food. You can also pre-order the food and pick it up. Very nice atmosphere. Probably full on Saturdays, so reserving a table would be advisable. We would love to come here again, even if we have to travel a little further.

Wow, my new favorite Asian in Wedel. <3 Update: unfortunately I have to deduct a star due to a 0.2L glass of water from the tap for €3.50.

We ate sushi and two menus (beef with rice). The sushi tasted good. Price wise also ok. However, we didn't like the food that much. The service was friendly, but it was difficult to understand her. Questions about the card could not be explained in detail. We would come back for sushi.

The atmosphere at To Gao Wedel is really great. The decoration and furnishings are very nice and you immediately feel at home. You can tell that a lot of attention to detail has been invested. The food was delicious on both visits. It looks very good and tastes great too. The “flying noodles” in particular were a highlight. Unfortunately, the service is the only point of criticism. You get your food quickly, but the landlord seemed a bit unmotivated and annoyed on both days.

Very tasty, beautifully decorated! Only the benches are a disaster: they are so dented that you can feel the springs. So: always sit on chairs, then it's great!!!!

This used to be one of my favorite shops. I visited the restaurant 3-4 times a month. Over time I noticed that the quality was decreasing more and more. The staff doesn't really look motivated. The icing on the cake was the food poisoning, unfortunately I won't be coming back.

The food was very tasty. My husband had the "Flying Noodles" and I had a classic pho with tofu. Service and ambience also top.
